Americor was a proud sponsor for the Autism Speaks Walk Sunday, December 8th 2019 at Angels stadium. The Autism Speaks Walk has raised millions of dollars to help fund autism-related research. Americor was able to raise hundreds of dollars for this great cause. A cause that is close to the heart of many Americor employees.
One Americor employee in particular, Mary Nagel, Payment Processing Manager was excited to find out that Americor would be a sponsor at this event. “I'm proud to be a Team Captain for this event! My 19-year-old son, Ian, was diagnosed with Autism. He is a happy and healthy young man. He participates in school and sports, like other typical teens,” said Mary. “My family enjoys participating in events that raise awareness for individuals with Autism & other special needs, supporting our son and community,” Mary continued. “When I found out that Americor was a sponsor of this event, I knew I had to volunteer.”
There was rain in the forecast but it held off and it turned out to be a beautiful yet cloudy day. The Americor booth saw many visitors checking out all the games and give-a-ways. Some people just stopped by for the free face painting and others showed up to learn more about Americor’s debt solution services.
