perhaps, you would prefer boardwalk city as it is near the city and near the pier so it would be more convenient for you as you travel to and fro bohol.  the landmarks near it are the cebu international convention center, the big and new campus of cebu doctor's university and there is also a new mall there, the parkmall.  the city expansion is definitely going that way.  the units are set to be available by october 2008 just in time for your return.
