you don't have to be rich to create all this, honest.  one can start by having one's heart in its proper place, getting the proper energy, organizational skill, and knowledge of what and who to tap for resources.

no foundation in the world is funded from one's own pocket.  if you tell me otherwise, then you don't know foundations.  some foundations are even organized as tax shelters by corporations.  that's a fact.

yup.. daghan kog nahibaw.an nga foundation.. and didto sad ko tig help nila.. hehehe..
bisan gamay ra akong resources daghan man ghpon mohelp out even how small it is..
sa ginagmay pa man sad ko ron mgstart.. but in the long run.. hopefully modako na ni siya.. =)

I like that quote, Isles. Fore me, I don't aspire to be 'rich', I just want to live comfortably and to be able to provide for the needs of my family and to be able to help whenever I can. There is no need to aspire to become wealthy or super rich because, in the end of the day, we cannot bring that with us to the grave. God will judge one through one's actions and through living faith; not based on one's wealth.

This reminds me of the Parable of Lazarus and the Rich Merchant, which can be read in Luke Chapter 16 of Scripture. :)

true..
however, it is still your choice if you want to be rich because of of the answers to my BIG WHY..
Why do i Need to be rich..
Simple.. i want to help more people.. i want to build schools and create a foundation for kids and elder people..

yes, we cant bring our richness to heaven.. but we can touch everyone's lives through our help from our richness..

And do you abide in tithing 10% (first fruits) to the LORD GOD?

i do.. tithing doesnt necessarily mean you will give it to the church all of it.. but it also tells us to give it to those people who are in need.. that's why i have a feeding program for kids this may 12.. Please pray for the success of our program..

thanks..

The Guyabano tree, its fruit, leaves, bark is a natural cancer cell killer.

A scientific research in 1976 shows that one chemical is 10,000 times more potent then the chemotherapeutic drug Adriamycin.

Protect your immune system and avoid deadly infections. Feel stronger and healthier throughout the course of the treatment. Boost your energy and improve your outlook on life

The source of this information is just as stunning. With many laboratory tests conducted since the 1970’s, those tests revealed was nothing short of mind numbing.

Extracts from the tree were shown to: Effectively target and kill malignant cells in 12 types of cancer, including colon, breast, prostate, lung and pancreatic cancer.

The tree compounds proved to be up to stronger in slowing the growth of cancer cells than Adriamycin, a commonly used chemotherapeutic drug!

What’s more, unlike chemotherapy, laboratory tests shows that the compound extracted from the Guyabano tree selectively hunts down and kills only cancer cells. It does not harm healthy cells! Various parts of the treeâ€"including the bark, leaves, roots, fruit and fruit-seedsâ€"have been used for centuries by medicine men and native Indians in South America to treat heart disease, asthma, liver problems and arthritis.

The National Cancer Institute performed the first scientific research in 1976. The results showed that Guyabano’s “leaves and stems were found effective in attacking and destroying malignant cells.

Since 1976, laboratory tests has proven that Guyabano to be an immensely potent cancer killer in 20 independent laboratory tests.

A study published in the Journal of Natural Products, stated that one chemical in Guyabano (Annona Muricata) was found to selectively kill colon cancer cells at “10,000 times the potency of (the commonly used chemotherapy drug) Adriamycin.

The most significant part of the report is that Guyabano (Annona Muricata) was shown to selectively target the cancer cells, leaving healthy cells untouched. Unlike chemotherapy, which indiscriminately targets all actively reproducing cells (such as stomach and hair cells), causing the often devastating side effects of nausea and hair loss in cancer patients.

A study at Purdue University recently found that leaves from the Guyabano tree killed cancer cells among six human cell lines and were especially effective against prostate, pancreatic and lung cancers.

Just want to share article for us to formulate our reasons on why we should be rich written by my friend. Hope this would enlighten you. =)

7 Reasons Why You Should Be Rich â€" Millionaire Mind
by Hanz

1. Money Brings Peace of Mind

Some call it financial freedom â€" but for me, I call it peace of mind. That’s basically what financial freedom can do. Imagine this:
You are somewhere in the Caribbean with your family on a vacation sitting gladly in a hammock. Worry free about all the expenses â€" especially the para-glide your sons wants and the spa massage you wife asks â€" because you have more than enough. You open your laptop to update and see how smooth the business is running because you have a fully trusted team working for you. Then you sell your stocks and shares here and there. Then check on the FB pictures your father uploaded while on their Pilgrimage to Holy Land. Your then wired Php 150,000  â€" 100k to your best friend who asked you as his investor in his newly opened business and 50k to your cousin who got in an accident. And then you close your laptop, sip the coconut juice, and gladly read the Gratitude Card of the 4 students who just graduated college being your scholars.

Well, I guess this is enough reason why you should be rich!

2. Money can Help You Reach Your Dreams

All of us have dreams.

Young or old, we all have one!

The personal dreams, the mansion, the car, the business, the big investments, the renovated chapel, the eye surgery for your mother, the best university for your kids, the trip around the world, or even just a simple TV.

This reminds me of the husband of my manager before. He has this huge home theater at their house, it he has this enormous collections of DVD’s. When I was there, I was kidding around, “Can I borrow a DVD? I brought my library card!”

Then we learned that when his husband was still a kid, he used to climb on top of their roof at night just to watch TV through their neighbor’s window.

3. Money Can Help Build Great Relationships

How can you have a good relationship when you quarrel every night with your spouse about the debts and the bills?

Your daughter is upset because you can’t buy her that silly white dress for her graduation.

Your eldest must stop studying for a year.

You can’t go back to your home town because you owe money to 98% of the population there.

You don’t want your ageing parents to stay with you because you do not have enough to support them aside from your family.

Then comes the voice that haunts you, “If only… I have money.”

4. Money Can Make You Live Life in World Class

Okay, this is too cliché but this cuts right through the point.

We only have one shot at life â€" only one life to live â€" and there’s no reason to live it “ordinarily”! If you can live it world class -and there’s just tons of opportunity to live like one â€" why not live one?

World class experience.

World class food.

World class travel.

World class businesses.

World class life.

5. Money Can Help People

How many times have you said “not now” from one relative of yours asking for support, “Our youngest is in the hospital right now. Even a 500 would do.”?

How many times have you said “Oh, don’t worry, I’ll just contact you” to a friend who’s willing to borrow money at 15% interest for the tuition fee and you won’t really bother to call back?

How many times have you said “Next year, I will support you” to representatives of the local charities?

How many times have you shooed away kids who are caroling during Christmas?

Well, I did, countless times.

And it hurt.

But I promise myself, I will never do that again.

6. Money Can Bless the World

Why just help only one when you can help 2 or 3 or  4 or 5?

Why just help students finish schooling when you can let them borrow investments for their businesses?

Your personal success story will surely bless people, but why just share it to one or to a group when you can write a book about it and deliver your message to more people?

Why just help one community with your medical mission when you can help more and even those farther and needs more medical attention?

You know you are a great cook, and you are very much willing to share your talent, but why just pass on the skill to one apprentice when you can build a school?

Money enlarges your territory, and when you enlarge yours you will have a bigger scope and bigger opportunity to bless more people.

7.Because God Wants You to be Rich

Let me end with this simple yet powerful idea through these verses:

This is God’s plan for you…

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  - Jeremiah 29:11

And yes, God wants you to enjoy your wealth too…

If God gives a man wealth and property and lets him enjoy them, he should be grateful and enjoy what he has worked for. It is a gift from God. â€" Ecclesiastes 5:19

And in my own words,

“If You believe that  Your Father in heaven is rich beyond imagination, remember that you are His child, and if your Father is rich. So are you.”

that's it.  why mind those who don't agree with you or who are not in the business of massaging egos?  interestingly, we couldn't really know much of each other only through this our cyberlife in cyberspace.  for all we know, lord hubag may have the biggest portfolio of us all.  then we'd all be laughing over that.

by 'big person', do you mean to say that a person becomes big when he has big money?  if so, i'm disappointed.  there must be nobler values than money.  please enlighten me.  otherwise, i may just be wasting my time on this thread.

what admirable energy.  one thing made me curious, though.  who will give the seminar, you or some other boholanos who you want to learn from?  the word 'their' brings confusion, if i may say. ???

Big person means those who have positive aura who is willing to change not only himself but also make a change to someone else. Its not all about money but its all about the attitude in approaching things and people.

Me and my mentor will decide who will give a seminar for free to all of you their specifically in financial literacy.

yup.. even if its old style but it is still effective for me..
i've saved a lot because of that. and every month i can invest it in my mutual funds and for stocks..

but hey, maybe you could share to us your formula then.

yup.. hahaha.. i dont mind him at all.. those negativity wont make him a big person..

anyways, its good that now you are interested and saving some for your self. I believe you are also in to stocks market.
That's a good thing. and you are also saving that for your future.

Maybe I can have a seminar their in Bohol for everyone to learn something on the reality which we are facing now specifically on how we do our finances.

How you could save if it's nothing to save.

now.. maybe there is a problem on your formula for saving.

Do you do this kind of formula: Income - Expenses = Savings?
If that's the case then you can't save.

If you do this: Income-Tithes-Savings = Expenses
then, you can totally save.. =)

i cant blame others if people are scared now because of the downfall of some insurance companies but bare in mind their are different groups of insurance companies. Most companies who got bankrupt are PRE NEED COMPANIES. So before you buy insurance you must identify first who are pre-need or life insurance companies. These two may look the same but its not. It is just like apples and orange. They may be fruits but not of the same kinds. Likewise with the pre-need industry and insurance industry.

Mind you,
FINANCIAL EDUCATION is the best thing you need to know.. =)
