What did people tease you about growing up?

that i am not growing up.  ;D haha used to be "always" small. always in front of the line. they say my stroller bag is taller than me. haha but when i entered college, it really didn't matter any more. still small, but my confidence is taller than their heights.  :)
#10
yes college days. no plans though of doing it, but it was raining so hard, a car drove in front of me and my friend. i was afraid though but we were so wet had no choice. good thing... GOOD THING, they are good boys.  :)

Loboc - Bohol / Re: i love loboc
June 21, 2010, 01:47:18 PM
sure lorenz, i'll post some pics, tonight perhaps.  :) medyo bitin lang ang cruise i think it was 40mins-1hour. mas masaya sana kung 2hours! haha but the food naman is plenty for p350.

i also loved the old churches, chocolate hills, panglao beach! and of course the tarsiers - sayang i didn't get to touch them and put them on my hand. bawal na daw kase. before kase alam ko pede sila touch.

my thought today: why is it difficult to work when you know you'll be in vacation this coming weekend? hmm.. hehehe ~vacation mode: ON~

truly one big challenge in life, when someone you love dearly goes away. either it creates a better you or a monster in you. glad you're not the latter. and i am sure your friend loves who the way you are right now.

my prayers goes to your friend and my wish goes to your wish being granted.  :)
#26
^ awww...

glad you surpassed that stage of mourning. and even happier because it didn't shake your faith. i admire people who love their friends so much it kills them too when they die. but there'll always be those trials which will eventually make a better us.  :)

that is true lorenz. your date-friend did the right thing. we can close our sixth sense, but if it will bother someone else, hurt someone, then by all means, we can say it out loud to protect him. some ghosts follow you. then faith comes in. a priest once told me, they can show up in front of me, and they can even touch me. those ghosts are really strong elements, make us weak. but if i say my prayer to the very deepest meaning that i can, no ghost can ever harm me. so far, the apostle's creed is my weapon and had not failed me!  :)

For me, payment is secondary. Patient care should always be first. Kining sweldo, it comes man later.

hope all doctors and health establishments think like you.
#30
^ very much lorenz.  :o now don't be scared. haha i still see them today..though i don't mind that they're there. my advisors and some friends told me, if i want to close it, i should not be mentioning them to others. act as if i don't see them. i even used to be followed by a black ghost during high school days. we had to move to different houses because of that. i was sick all the time. questors and priests come to our house before to bless me.

Love Talk / Re: What do you think of love?
June 08, 2010, 01:39:03 PM
love is when you learn to compromise. no pride.
#59
when he proposed  ;D it was unexpected because we were already talking about marriage and wedding. but still he was romantic enough to have thought, that a woman still needs to be asked formally.  :) he values my feelings. and of course right after that, all the blessings poured upon us.
#60
nah... there'll always be "one greatest" NBA player of all time  ;D kobe is good yes, but MJ is MJ. ms da binsi is right.
#61
i've read it somewhere before about a study made on why women shop. it's because (sub-consciously), women can cling to the hope that adornments in clothes, shoes, accessories will magically enhance our statuses and attractiveness. media has long perpetuated the belief that a woman's success is tied up with the way she looks.

for me, yes, sometimes it really makes me feel good and empowered if i get to have a nice pair of shoes. makes me more confident. but of course, women should also learn how to set limitations. if credit cards are bringing us down, then it's not doing any good to us.
#62
i always wanted to have a koala bear  :) hahaha where he's just there on one of my posts. haha

though i always have been a dog lover. i had pugs, american bulldogs, basset hounds. Retriever was my first dog, i was 4yo then.

last 2006, i had to give away my pugs because i became pregnant and it's not healthy to have a pet in a 1br condo according to my doctor.

my basset hound died months before my wedding (2006). he was supposed to be a ring bearer  :) if given the chance, if i'll have a yard again, i'll get another basset hound and will re-live his times  :) is it bad? they say it's not nice to re-live a dog. i guess i'll have a beagle then.

a lover and bestfriend in one ;) and i already did choose..10yrs ago ;D
#89
a mentor once said, there are only three fulfillments in life. to plant a tree, to bear a child, and to write a book. i already have a child. i already have planted a tree (abs cbn la mesa watershed), and i currently write in newspapers and magazines about parenting (can't be considered a book yet haha).

but i guess it will always be having to build a family of my own ;) i think that's an accomplishment.  ;D but.. i know i know, i got a long way more to go.

Question and Answer / Re: Do you eat frog's legs?
May 28, 2010, 02:12:37 PM
yes, i think that's it. when i think about it, then it becomes a hindrance to the challenge.

i heard it's like chicken meat. how true?
#91
don't you believe in love at first sight?
- i don't believe it. it can be an attraction that can lead to something that can grow deeper..and that's when i call it love.  ;D

to answer lorenzo...
first date as in no friendship before or no meeting beforehand? if this is the case, then i guess the "other" brain of a man will function at this moment.  :)
#92
^ thank you. appreciate it. i feel like it's an unending quest to being a good parent..you'll never be good at it nor close to being perfect. but just as long as we're doing our best at it, i think we can raise good children. and you're right, seeing the blessing right in front of you, sweeps all tireness away!  :)
