The result of the election on Monday will be the real survey :) Mudslinging will not help you guys. Boholanos hates below-the-belt tactics just like what Herrera and Montano are doing. Peace men. You started it so we will end it tomorrow.

We need answers from Herrera for this heart-breaking news.

We are not fool individuals to easily be deceived by black propaganda like this. Look at Villar now, he first issued a black propaganda against noynoy and it caused his survey ratings to drop down at a very low level because everything boomeranged back to him since it was found out that the same was not true. See? Boholanos do not like below-the-belt campaign techniques. We, in this forum are intelligent enough to understand every detail of posted inquiry or issues. Issues like this without a clear evidence is baseless and irresponsible. Hence, we doubt the reasonableness of this issue. When dela cerna ran for congreeman 3 years ago, he resorted to plenty of baseless issues. See what happened? He lost the congressional race because Boholanos are mature and wise enough to easily believe this irresponsible issue. Dodong A, i know you can do better than that to campaign for your candidate. Why not posts your candidate's profile, his experiences, his platforms, programs, projects, political background, advocacy and the like, instead of posting things which are baseless. God bless you.

Are surveys really reflects the will of the population? Surveys depends on the kind of respondents a researcher deals with. If majority of the respondents are coming from the youth sector, so might say its because cesar is popular since he is an artist. But we want more characteristics and capabilities that a candidate must possess other than a mere popularity in order to lead this province to a place where it should be. Plus, what change are we looking for Bohol? We don't need change. We simply need to continue the status of the province through its existing programs and developing some. So, we want a public servant who knows exactly how to deal with it. I believe that people should not rely on their emotions but rather minds when they cast their vote on May 10, 2010.

Its so easy to say that we can stop corruption, that we can end poverty and that we can elevate the lives of every boholanos in this island, but the question is HOW? Only a candidate with dedication, experience, knowledge, clear platforms of government, measurable advocacy and a heart that puts value on service rather than enriching himself at the expense of others. I, my family, committed and confirmed 38,8950 friends in the private, public and educational sector and our friends in the grassroots level of the society are ALL for Chatto because we strongly believe in his heart, principles and his capabilities to administer this government. Good luck and God bless this wonderful island and my fellow Boholanos inside this country and abroad.

WHO IS THE BETTER VICE GOVERNOR OF BOHOL?

A.   What were the accomplishments of Edgar Chatto while serving as Vice Governor of Bohol between 1995 â€" 2001 (6 years of service)
Various Significant Local Legislative Contributions and Projects: (taken from the BioData of Atty. Edgar Chatto)
1.   Authorship of Provincial Ordinances creating the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC), and its counterparts,
a.   the MADAC (municipal),
b.   CADAC (city),
c.   BADAC (barangay)
2.   Authored and published the “KATARUNGANG PAMBARANGAY SIMPLIFIED HANDBOOK” distributed and used by the Lupon Members in the barangays

6.   Established the CENTER FOR DRUG EDUCATION & COUNSELING (CEDEC)
7.   Opened the OVERSEAS WORKERS WELFARE ASSISTANCE DESK (OWWAD)
8.   Established the BARANGAY READING & INFORMATION CENTER
9.   Legislated the PROVINCIAL REVENUE CODE
10.   Legislative the ADMINISTRATIVE CODE
11.   Legislated the BOHOL ENVIRONMENT CODE which is the Model Environment Code of numerous provinces and cities in the Philippines today
12.   Established the BOHOL ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT OFFICE (BEMO)

15.   Institutionalized the BOHOL INVESTMENT PROMOTION CENTER AND TOURISM OFFICE

18.   Institutional capacitation of the BARANGAY TANODS with distribution of BARANGAY TANOD KITS and Katarungang Pambarangay Handbook
19.   Institutionalized and capacitated the BARANGAY LIVESTOCK AIDE (BALA) with DISTRIBUTION OF BALA KITS
20.   MOST OUTSTANDING VICE GOVERNOR, (1997)
21.   Awardee of the NATIONAL CENTENNIAL LINGKOD BAYAN FOR OUTSTANDING WORK PERFORMANCE BY THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION (CSC), 2000 and received the salary equivalent to that of a GOVERNOR while serving as Vice Governor of the Province

B.   What are the accomplishments of Julius Herrera while serving as Vice Governor of Bohol between 2001 -2010 (9 years of service)
Legislations and Projects (taken from the Website of juliusherrera.com)
1.   Established a Secretariat for each SP Committee
2.   Training on Barangay Legislation (TBL)
3.   Agriculture: Distribution of Seeds and Seedlings:

b.   Lubi: Kaabag sa Malungtarong Kaugmaran, Disrtibution of Coconut Seedlings
c.   Rice Seeds Assistance, Distribution of Certified Rice Seeds
4.   Distribution of Barangay Tanod kits
5.   Distribution of BHW kits
6.   Overseas Workers Helpline, Assistance of OFWs, Libreng Tawag sa Middle East Program

Comments:
1.   So, who best served as Vice Governor of Bohol?  Facts don’t lie.  Notice that most of the projects Herrera did in his term were copied from  Chatto’s time, such as:
a.   Distribution of Kits to BALA
b.   Distribution of Kits to the OFWs
c.   OFW Assistance Desk
d.   Training on Barangay Legislation copied from Chatto’s Katarungang Pambarangay Institutional Capacity Program
2.   Chatto had 21 accomplishments in only 6 years as Vice Governor, while Herrera has only 6 while serving for 9 years.
3.   So, who is a better leader for Bohol?
4.   You can not become a “good leader” by simply claiming that you are.  Your track record will speak for you and other people will say it to the public.  Chatto’s track record of accomplishments and Awards even as Vice Governor and now as Congressman will speak for himself that he is a “good leader” able to become the next Governor of Bohol which the people will elect on May 10.

LGU Philippines / HERRERA RECRUITMENT SCAM
May 07, 2010, 06:58:36 PM
I’ve been absent for awhile from this forums, needed to go to a far away land for a short vacation …anyway I’m back, and from the airlanes found out how v-gov herrera’s family had zipped out money from poor unsuspecting job seekers for abroad in a recruitment scam perpetrated by his son Marcus Julius Herrera (marcusjlh83@yahoo.com) thru a company known as 3 J’s Global Recruitment Agency Incorporated. The J’s are supposed to stand for “Juliuses”, a favorite name for the family.

The son had given the victims his address as: #56 Hernandez St., Pasay City, while their agency holds office at Rm 201, Lee Business Corner, on Juan Luna cor. Juan dela Cruz Sts., Davao City.

I don’t know and still am verifying reports that among the more than 200 hundred recruits nationwide there were at least 35 Boholanos. It is said that the agency is a family business, w/ the v-gov and his wife Linda, a labor attache based in the US, actively engaging in  the scam.

Some of the complainants even testified in their affidavits that the V-Gov’s OFW desk inside his office at the capitol was used to handle the concerns of these wannabe overseas workers. They had in fact implicated a female government employee in the v-gov’s office by the name of “Sharon”, who handled their papers.

Sketchy reports have said that herrera’s wife met with some of the complainants  at Garden Café for s ettlement that would silence them, they will reportedly meet again at the POEA in Cebu sometime this, or next week.

After these recruited workers had complained, they were told that  the failure to provide the promised jobs abroad was due to the global recession which had greatly affected the US. This was after they had paid ($450.00) four hundred and fifty dollars each excluding expenses for a medical check-up, fare & allowance while they stayed in Cebu.

When they complained with the POEA, they found out that the agency’s license had already expired and thus had been delisted from the POEA.

Some of the victims they say have been employed by Herrera as casual workers of the province, to silence them. Most are suffering in silence in the hope of recovering their placement fees. Some victims however, those who had borrowed from 5-6 sources or had pawned and sold lands  and other assets, want their money back and filed formal complaints.

Some of the victims who were identified in their compliants are Maricel Cajelo, Nestora Rebusa, Carlos Gardosi, Maria Liezel Ingles and Maria Susan Yap all applying as caregivers; garbage collector applicants Roberto Cister & Pableo Dabalos; and construction workers Joseph Palingcod and Carlito Hibaya.

Now, this is something we hope, some of those in this forum could verify… specially those in the Herrera camp for them to explain..

This is another thing that we boholanos cannot accept! This is too much! I wish before herrera did it, he considered the hardships of these victims to find money just to fulfill a dream for themselves and for their family. Herrera does not deserve my vote next week. I thought he's good but he wasn't!
#17
This is a very shameful case of Herrera. He is absolutely not fitted to run for public office! Why until now he remained silent over this case. The people are waiting for his answer since it affects the interests of the people especially those who are victims of illegal recruitment! If he can't face this, how much more the issues that are still coming! His silence means one thing, AN ACT OF COWARDICE!!! We simply can't afford a governor that illegally recruits his fellow boholanos just to realized his own selfish interests!
#18
This is true because Herrera admitted it recently that he has a mansion in cebu. But the question is, where did get money to build the mansion? Am sure its from the people.
#19
Its absolutely true. He even admitted that in one of his interviews conducted by abs-cbn thru tv patrol world. For me, its not a good habit which is not a good example for the youth as builders of the nation.

Surveys are not the true measure of campaign strength according to a UP Political Analyst because it will only have 300 or few number of people as respondents from metro manila area only then the result would represent the entire country. Pls take note that visayas and mindanao were not asked even once with respect to surveys. Plus, not to mention that according to the countries promiment news papers and tv channels, the owners and members of the board of direcors of SWS and Pulse Asia are direct and close relatives of noynoy. Therefore, surveys, somehow are doubtful. That is why i don't believe in the surveys.

LGU Philippines / Re: Dangerous Gibo Teodoro
May 03, 2010, 08:26:10 PM
Noynoy is even more dangerous because he is pro reproductive health bill, the bill that was condemned by millions of catholics including church leaders because it encourages abortion and other means which are against cahtolic doctrine. Villar is also dangerous being involed with the 42 million government revenue lost due his housing projects which were found to be substandard. Its a huge lost of people's money. let's go back to gibo, why? what's wrong with VFA where every member of the UN inluding progressive countries adheres to that realizing its importance to counter the threats of terrorism and promotes self preservation of the State. With respect to mining and logging issues as well as pro ownership of lands by foreigners, i don't believe so because we have a law that regulates it. So, its up to the government now to implement these laws for the common good.

So, next week's presidential election i frimly stand to cst my vote for G1BO because i believe what this man is capable of to administer the country. His records as compared to other candidates will speak for it. Think carefully before you will cast your vote next week. God bless you all.
#23
We can'r afford to have a city mayor like that :( So embarassing! No doubt that the city task force are also like him. We just can't give our vote to a man whose ehtics and morals are unacceptable!
#24
I don't believe that Lim's men were behind it. Guys, you try to compare the kind of people working for lim and herrera. U will really noticed that Lim's men are kind and disciplined as compared to that of hererra and aumentado. Mga abusado kaa na mg atao nila Herrera. So i really doubt that lim's men can do that. They are just twisting the issue becasue the truth is, it was Herrera, Aumentado and Dan LIm's men who were tasked to destroy the posters and other campaign materials of Chatto and Lim. They call it "Operation Baklas". Plus, they assigned men to different towns to buy the posters and they usually ask the children and other people to do the favor for them.  If dako na psoter mas mahal. But Chatto and Lim remain calm. Why not take a look the situation in Tagbilaran City. Diba Herrera and Dan Lim maoy daghan kaayo.Malibog pud ta ngano. Bisan manga tricycle drivers gipang hurat naa dili tagaan permit og torno if dili pang tanggalon angmga posters nila chatto and veloso sa ilang mga sakyanan. Even mga business establishments gipanghurat gihapon na dili tagaan og permit or lisod lisuron if mag display of posters nila veloso and chatto.

Ahh basta am sure God will favor the innocent.
#25
Thanks islander :0 I'll take ur advice. We just can't stop people who does nothing but to destroy one's reputation and credibility. We'll God will always favor the innocent and a good man who have done so much for the province and the country. The man who serve others above his personal interests. We'll if other people keep doing dirty campaigning then let it be but the people are already matured and intelligent. SO, they know exactly whom to cast their trust, confidence and votes this coming forthcoming election. So, God bless to you all.
#26
Thanks yo! Happy fiesta tagbilaran!
#27
Kani jud si Aquino-Roxas and Villar cge rajud pangdaot sa usag usa! Hoi mga self righteous people pag sure mo ui! We want clean campaigning! Congrats JIG! Naa naka pang tan-aw mayweather and mosley fight ugma. By the way bai jig, who are you picking? Hmnnn am sure montano gihapon ka kay bayad naman ka... Pastilan. BaSTA AKOA, SI MOSLEY....YEAH YEAH YEAH
#28
Yah character as a husband, naa lain lain chicks everytym naa cya shows outside. Need facts? Need pictures? Well whatever you say brother,i respect that. Hapit naka makatilaw og sakit na kapildihan hahahahahahaha. Aywa baya kawala og pag-asa ha. Pangampanya jud og ayo sa imong manok hahahahahaha. The real battle is between chatto and herrera.
#29
Round of applause for you bro. Unya si montano nakatilaw na kaha bisan barangay kagawad lang? LOl
#30
Hehehe another no-brainer issue. Simple logic bro: Bolante (now under villar) was alleged to have orchestrated the fertilizer fund scam but the case remains pending. If chatto, jala and cajes was one of them, why there was no warrant of arrest issued for the three of them until this time? Your answer might be because they are standing for admin, and so as Aumentado. But remember, jocjoc, the former DA usec was even arrested, how much more the persons you are pointing.???/;'%$^#$@! Pls reconsider and review your lessons in logic bro....Wer you able to discuss critical thinking skills???? Just a piece. What you want to ban me from this site? Then do it and by doing it is a sign of being coward..... And hei remember that Aumentado was also an admin guy, hmnnnnn are you not going to include him in your allegations?????? Hmnn i think you can't because you are payed by him and his desperate team... Feel sorry for you brother. I have a new name for the EBA, Herrera and Dan Lim-THE DESPERATE CORRUPT HUSBANDS hahahahaha hmnn are you not going to join them? Ban me if you want, coward...:P
#31
Am sure team Aquino-Roxas napud naa sa likod ani! So desperate team! Kalooi!
#32
Hahahaha wat da!
#33
Good luck cesar! I appreciate your concern for the boholanos but i think you're not that knowledgeable and skilled yet to administer a province. Focus first on your career being an artists and a husband. . Yeah yeah yeah...The victory is near to come...
#34
Good luck cesar! I appreciate your concern for the boholanos but i think you're not that knowledgeable and skilled yet to administer a province. Foucs first on your career being an artists and a husband. Opppsssss i mean good husband ha. Yeah yeah yeah...The victory is near to come...

I think therefore i am also for GIBO. As young professionals we deeply believed what this man is capable of for the good of the country. Election is forthcoming. We'll gonna win this war. Yeah yeah yeah...
