Very nice design, Emi. I like it very much.
If you want a cheaper print service, I think you can find one outside the mall. Kanang mga tig-print sa t-shirt sa HNU or UB. I will ask around.

Again, thank you very much for the design and the initiative.

Thanks, and you're welcome too sir.  Yes, will try to inquire also and I think their prints are much better in terms of quality.  Galing lng, I think by bulk ang printing nila, lisod magpa print ug tigi-tigi but will ask.  For the meantime, this is from transfer-it.  Don't know how long the print will stay after wearing and washing.

BIB now on TBTK. Thanks

http://tigumbolanontibuokkalibutan.blogspot.com/

What is BIB (Bohol Interactive Blog)?

According to my thesaurus:

bib [bib] (plural bibs)

n

1.  protective clothing: a small piece of material fastened under a child's chin to protect the clothing while eating
2.  part of garment: the front part of a pinafore, apron, or pair of overalls that covers the chest

[Late 16th century. Probably < bib "drink frequently" < Latin bibere "to drink"]

somebody's best bib and tucker somebody's finest clothes (informal)

So if somebody would like to expound or do a write up on BIB, these ideas will be good departure points. Something like... e.g., BIB, Bohol's newest "protective clothing and fastener"... intent on bringing together a unified Boholano blogs all over the world, a one-stop pit (station) for all your blogging experience. A virtual park where home-sweet-home Bohol is only a click away... etc   ;) ;) ;)

hehe. nice nice. very nice. thanks. will keep these thoughts for future articles.

@chicogon @jigs Thanks for the feedback, will greatly consider these views then.

@chicogon I believe you're trying to use are Static Pages.  Blogger has activated the use of Pages early this year though they may be limited compared to Wordpress - http://bloggerindraft.blogspot.com/2010/01/pages-come-to-blogger-in-draft.html

Yes, these rules and filters are to stand to define what are to be added here.  Anyway, so far I have not declined any sites that have been requested for addition, I just didn't add them yet (like some links that you gave).  There would always be exceptions to the rules, thus, we review blogs.  We will notify them why their blog will not be included.  Will revise rules and filters soon.  Thanks again for pointing that out.

@jigs Yes, interactive - like if these discussions were directed to the blog itself then interactivity would have started..hehe. but anyway, this is a forum, I don't mind.  One feature of the blog is DISQUS.  It's a comment system that is different from Blogger's comment system, pare pareha ani where comments are also threaded.  We would need good writers on different topics then and feature them.  Yes, something like Cebu Bloggers but still different - even their requirements mas lisod pa - they even require bloggers should be based on Cebu and topics would promote Cebu.  Here, I want to give people the chance to promote their craft even if it's not Bohol related but knowing it's from a Bol-anon - ok na kaajo!

@blueangel your site will be either in Forums or Websites.

All my blogs are constantly upated... but YOU WILL NEVER EVER notice them when they are updated... Why? Because all my pages were pre-designed (pre-made) when I first made my blogs (because I was after a certain look). Some pages are still empty because that's the way they are intended (for future blog item updates). Therefore, even if I update the content of a certian page now, it will never appear as newly updated. (Because they were pre-designed when the blog was first created). You get my drift? Probably not.

So just like you said, the moment they become linked to your blog... it becomes impossible for you to monitor who updated or not. But who says that is your job? You're only a "hub" (a focal point, a center, the middle, the heart, etc). Your job - if it is a job - is to gather as much or  many blogs that you know to be Boholano-handled. That simple.

So be it!!! (Be a hub... it's a great idea, pero ajaw pag pili-pili hahaha)

Coz if not, kung binisay-on pa nato, ajaw na lang pag alig2x ug tawag sa imong kaugalingong blog ug "Bohol Interactive" (more like a "Bohol Interlink") Blog coz anybody can easily do it. To get bloggers interested or buy sa imong idea (or at least read the post here at TB) is enough challenge... ajaw sa gam-ig rules that would limit you're ability to become a centre. Because you'll never become one, if you do so.

I hope these thoughts help a bit...

Note: I support what you do because you have a very good and noble idea. That is empowering. Besides tambal sa kamingaw. I give you my ten cent worth (suggestions) because I only want to help... I hope you consider this as a constructive one.

I'm very familiar with Blogger Templates and I have knowledge on CSS and HTML plus I work on Wordpress and Textpattern.  Yes, I don't quite get your drift when you say they are "pre-made" when they are all using Minima.  Please, enlighten me.  Anyway, as I've said these rules and filters are still on going revisions so as the links - since the sidebar cannot hold them all together, that's why there's only a handful of additions lately.

I think it would be better to filter a blog one time than none at all.  If they turn out to be scam sites in the long run we'll pull them out of the links.  Well, if anybody can do it they can.  Wa bya pud ko namugos, kung di gud - di wala.  Thanks but I believe these are essential right from the start so that I'll know who are quality bloggers and are not mere spammers.  If you said that "anybody can do it" so be it - mas nindot nuon daghan para mas bibo.  Even forums like TB, Istorya.net, Cebu Bloggers and the like have rules and regulations.  They even review email addresses before someone could join the forum - the earlier the better on this site.

The rules and filters are still undergoing revisions - so as the site itself.  Gani, we're thinking of buying a domain name just for this site and probably move up to Wordpress.  Please be patient kay bag-o pa ni nga site and your links will be added soon with new categories.

Thanks, appreciate the two-cents.

What's interactive about this blog, if I may ask? All I see are linkages to the different blogs and other sites... with a new design.
Other sites and blogs have that as well (like Bohol Business Directories). My blogs have the same intent (but I choose to limit them to my other blogs because they tend to clutter up). And here I'm hearing you're limiting them to those that measure up to your rules?
Then why make a blog that claim "Bringing Boholanos Closer Online" when you're really "filtering" blogs that measure up according to your like or preferences? You can't really pick and choose as I joked on my previous post... if you are to grow as a hub for Boholano bloggers. You might miss on half of them that don't live up to your so-called rules.

Just a thought for you to ponder... as you continue your young journey!!!  ;)

If you've noticed that this blog it's more like just a week old though I've started template-wise last year.  It's just recently that I gave a soft launch and posting links to Facebook and the like.  Precisely, one purpose of the filters - not to clutter the site.  Another thing is spam and scam sites.  Filtering scam sites and blogs does not hinder on "Bringing Boholanos Online."  If people are really to be serious about their craft and want to promote it here - why not?  You sure don't want people to promote links that will lead to phishing sites.  I'm sure you have AVG or Avira or something like that - works that way.  Bohol Business Directory is a great site that is why Bohol.ph is on Information.

Here's some rules and qualifications on how we filter blogs:
(constantly undergoing revisions) - your thoughts and suggestions then.

    * Any platform is welcome as long as it's a blog site.
    * Must be up to date - the very least once a month.
    * Must not contain pornographic and violent materials.
    * Must not be a scam and spam site.
    * Not a copy-and-paste-blog from other blogs.
    * Gives proper credits to original sources.
    * Proper language is a must - no cursing.

Wave will be replacing emails but not too soon, I guess.  People are not yet ready to make the transition.  The first time I was on Wave and I sent out invitations - zero response.  It's just like Facebook back then, everybody was hesitant to join the network site until it gained popularity and functionality.  Wave is still in it's Preview stages so watch out for more improvements.  Epipheo Studios made a very clear presentation of Wave then Google's very loooooooong introduction - What is Google Wave?
