Admin.  You didn't ban maam aye, did you? Sayang man gud iyang talent.

sorry, i'm not what you think i am, windgate. i had to share this thought to all peps here with the intention of giving an avenue of civility in this wonderful forum. like all other fora i've been into, conflict of personality types, behavior and views is a wont that we all must strive to overcome, or at least understand, so to grow as a person and as a community of boholanos as well. as i've always believed, a person should LISTEN first to what he/she says, BEFORE expecting others to listen to him/her.

the inconsistencies of the media have led to this spiraling-down image of journalism in our country. while it is a fact many are still living up to their respected image as carriers of truth in public arena, a lot of them are merely doing their job for the sake of livelihood as the priority and the truth relegated as secondary concern.

adding 5-year in college is the only pragmatic solution of our educational system. improving the entire system is costly for schools and for the government, which receives tax revenues from these learning institutions. i am for the systemic revamp of our education, but it needs new fresh minds and leadership which we don't have in our present government.

it's because we are so different that we have so much to share.

i learned this saying in school. it was so populated with students from different walks of life.
thus, debates, argument, conflicts and misunderstanding were very common. our teachers did a phenomenal job, though, to keep the classrooms alive and conducive for learning in a friendly atmosphere. they never let those differences take the best out of us. instead they guided us to use them for constructive purposes. it was the time to grow then how to learn to LISTEN to people and be SENSITIVE with other's feelings without losing the fixture of individuality in one hand and without forgetting the invaluable sense of community in the other. so the wisdom of sharing each individuality is what pushed us forward; and the mindful respect of the people around me, to whom i belonged, is what bonded us together in one ground, at the same level and same breath.

needless to say there were always people who wouldn't be happy no matter what we did in a generous way. we never said goodbyes to them. we always reminded ourselves each of us have our own lives and there are just so much we can do to relate to them. thanks TB people. i'll talk to you next time around. hopefully to argue with a listening heart.
