I think in prom parties like this lady is attending, the school admin has explicit rules what and what not to wear, how far or should I say how close they can dance, etc.  She may have dressed way too much or should I say too little.   But I guess the punishment was not the way how she dressed but how she behaved after being told that her attire was inappropriate according to the school's definition.  She may have created a scene that's why she was cuffed and whisked from the ballroom to the jail room. IMO.

Hello BOC!  Your Bayat is fine.  I talked to her this morning.  She was bubly like champaigne as usual and with laughter that no ordinary fire extinguisher can extinguish!  She couldn't go online as much as she wishes to because the hotel where they are staying charges exorbitant and unnecessary rate to use the internet.  She goes to the Whole Foods to be able to use free internet.  This and other stores like Starbucks, Barnes and Noble, I think even McDonalds offer free use of internet when you go to their store with your laptop.

Tomorrow she is gonna be waiting for her newfound Mexican friend who cleans their room to bring her a bread that's cooked with beer!    Unsa kahay lami ana oi!  Anyway, Maring ms da binsi is fine and gathering pictures for us to enjoy too.

I am particularly amazed with this flower.  It's actually a small tree with two colors of flowers: white and purplish!

Metaphoric man nah.  Two night ago, at the late evening news, there were kids - cute kids used to distract the store attendant while the mother was stealing something and stuffing her jacket with stolen goods.

I felt so bad and sad for the people victimized by this cyclone.  I don't know what else to say but I'll just offer a prayer that all the victims may find peace and consolation in the midst of this huge trial in their lives.
