Na imagine nako ning proyektoha ug ma realize. Ang reflection niana sa dagat, di ba? Kanindot jod! It could really enhance the beauty of the geographical landscape of the area towards the tourist destinations of Panglao.

ganahan man gani ko maglantaw nga ingon ana pa ang dagway sa causeway, unya naa pa jud kos sakyanan nga gadagan...makalingi jud ko bitaw tinood. samot na tingali og naa pay sunset view or sunrise...wa pa ko man gud kalabay diha og sayo or kahaponon. basta ang location, coupled with the beach and bluish water...just amazing.

kanang imong uyab ron, sad, murag nahimong object of your affection human sa usa ka panagbulag...transference of affection. which can bring either further hurt or true love, which in this case...the latter. remember love is not just about feelings/missings. but it is also about action...selfless, good and righteous actions. mawa man nang pagbati, apan magpabilin ang gugma gihapon. kung wa ni trabaho, then ask him to find one...a good one. the worst mistake anyone does, is to decide to marry without knowing how they gonna live after.
kining imong gika-agbat ron nga bag-o...feeling secured lang jud ka kay naay trabaho. but as you said, naa poy ni siyay bisyo. daghan man nga palainum nga di abusado. the only way to find if he's serious or not is to give yourself time. you can't rush love, let alone getting a lifetime partner. use your head, and don't just let your heart do the lead. with your past, let your experience enlighten you as well.
lastly, filter out your own issues. what do you need right now? write them down. is this relationship helping you grow or not? listen to your self. discern and pray.

Hala jod MsDaBins, awata jod na sila!!! We know they are just expressing their own side using their own points of view. So there's the seemingly never ending argument debatable since time immemorial and we still expect this argument to be carried further 'till the next generations to come. Only time will tell the truth with certainty when we all pass away from this earth. For now, we have to accept the fact there are three sides of an argumentation, one is the positive side, the other is the negative side, and the side which is often disregarded is the right side not the left. Now, question which side do you side? Hmmmm....

BED SIDE KO...lol

there's no single way to know whether that a guy really loves you or not. it is as complicated and mysterious as the persons involved in this relationship. meaning to say, to know the guy's true feeling about you demands a lot of revealing of his self--his motivations, his understanding about life, his regard to women, his regard to himself and his capacity to be selfless. certainly, there are many ways to explore in order to reveal true feelings and to avoid undesirable consequences. true love is always responsible; it knows its limits and respects the dignity of each individual, not as an object of desire, but as a person.

The Church teaches in basis and according to the purity of Apostolic Tradition. Not on the fleeting feelings of the times. Not on basis of individual interpretation, nay, The Gospel warns about that.

The Holy Mother the Church is the rock, built on the foundation of Peter. Built in the name of Christ, and is the light, by the Grace of God,  the constant in these turbulent and imprudent times.

it's only a matter of right time, right place and right people lorenz. the church has been always like that...slow and reactive, not because an issue is fleeting or not, but because SHE addresses the issue with wisdom. like for example, it took time for Her to accept Heliocentric System of Copernicus and of Galileo's . likewise, when heresies came out, the Church formulated doctrines to foil them...or anathemize them. there were social injustices in Latin America, thus the idea of social justice, of Basic Ecclesial Communities is born. 1960s, need for renewal of the church and of going back to the basic/root, so the Vatican-II was called. etc. etc.
there's no telling when can the church move its way on this matter. but i believe God would not protest if law/s(like celibacy) be changed in the Church if it is, when it is time, only for the spiritual well-being and service of His people. the Church is called "to serve, not to be served." that is Wisdom.

COWARDS WHO BASH GALLANT BOOM BOOM

PhilBoxing.com
26 Nov 2008

For a nation where most of our men â€" and women â€" have shown indomitable courage there is - sad to say - a gathering of cowards who hide behind anonymity and bash just about everybody in sight as they have done with 22 year old Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista.

These individuals have absolutely no regard for the feelings of fighters who train hard, try their best to bring honor and glory to their country, sacrifice way beyond what others normally do yet there are vermin who have the gall to ridicule the fighters efforts as though they could do better.

It’s not just a shame, it’s a crying shame that these people in assailing Bautista and at times the ALA Gym of respected boxing patron Tony Aldeguer miserably fail to realize how much Aldeguer has done to take poor kids off the streets and give them a chance to earn a decent living and to improve the quality of life of their families.

Nor do they have the decency to assess Bautista’s showing against a grizzled Mexican veteran who had fought some of the best in his weight division and who obviously benefited and took advantage of the three cuts and the two huge lumps on the forehead of Boom Boom who, despite the blood streaming into his eye, fought as gallantly as any Filipino would.

We recall that before the fight there were those who branded the opponents of Bautista as bums and now when he is matched against a fighter like Ruiz and loses, these same people pounce on Boom Boom and try as best they could to destroy the young man’s confidence and spirit. Shame on them.

Manny Pacquiao suffered one similar gash in his first fight with Erik Morales and fought through the handicap just like Bautista did. Both young men were gallant and Bautista’s gallantry should not be considered any less than Manny’s merely because Manny is a champion and a once-in- a-lifetime fighter.

Of course there were mistakes made in training. Of course Bautista should have anchored his offense on a stinging left jab. Of course they should have prepared for possible cuts and bleeding from head-butts. Of course, of course, of course. But there is a time for these observations to be made and a place for them to be conveyed.

It's hard enough for Bautista whom the eminent WBC founding secretary general Rudy Salud referred to as a baby-faced boy facing a seasoned man to accept the fact that he let his countrymen down despite his valiant effort, wiping away the blood and seeing through only one eye. It must be far worse to read through the ridicule and the meanness that a few of his own countrymen have resorted to. Heartless to say the least.

In fact it amazes us how these individuals many of whom haven’t a clue about the sport spit out their venom like rattlesnakes hiding behind rocks and blending with the landscape so they can’t be recognized. Its time the decent elements in boxing in this country get together and ferret out this mean band of lesser men and teach them a lesson, once and for all.

The claim that its all part of freedom of speech is horse manure because freedom brings with it inherent responsibilities and that includes having the guts to identify one’s self and stand by the statements so loosely hurled at fine young men striving to do their best.

Perhaps its about time that such a widely-read boxing site as philboxing.com tasks its administrators to accept only criticism that is fair and constructive, delivered in decent language and which doesn’t demean or ridicule our young fighters or the Mexicans who often appear to be a favorite target or even some American writers who may not agree with them all the time.

We are aware of petty jealousies and rivalries in the Philippines that mar boxing just like they do in almost every aspect of national life which is a pity. We we are aware that vested rival interests hiding behind the veil of anonymity post criticism sometimes couched in vile language and dripping with meanness.

We strongly believe that men in boxing should never comment or criticize fighters or strategies employed by others because we know of some who have a penchant to criticize others at the drop of a hat while at the same time praising whatever they themselves do. Plainly put, it shows a lack of class.

Perhaps it is also time for our good friend Dong Secuya to realize that if the aim of philboxing.com is to develop the sport of boxing and boost the confidence and morale of our young fighters in particular, there is a compelling need to pay serious attention to what is published in the forum.

Personally, we don’t give a damn what nasty or mean comments people make against us although we resent the racial slurs that some of them resort to. But our fighters and the men who do so much for these young fighters and their families mean a lot to us as we are sure they do to Dong Secuya.

Our position is that you simply cannot claim to be a diehard supporter of a sport and at the same time allow its beacons who carry the fight for every single Filipino, to be devastated by the vicious and mean comments of a few. It undermines what we all should stand for.

Again, I thank You, Father in heaven, for the blessings and graces You have give me this day. Once more I entreat Your continuing protection. Conscious of my own weakness and frailty, of my many faults, I entrust myself to Your loving care.

I entrust to Your protection, loving Father, those dear to me, my relatives, friends, and all those living and dead, who have done good for me and mine by Your holy inspiration. Be pleased, Eternal Father, to keep in Your care Your Church, the Holy Father, and all who serve You religiously. Please assist also all civil officials to exercise authority justly, and to direct all our people according to Your will.

In Your loving and tender mercy, Lord and Father, assist especially those who are poor and deprived, those who suffer, and all who are without hope in this life unless You come to their aid. It is You alone Who can bring great good out of the worst evils by Your unbounded power. So we trust You to curb the malice of the wicked, to convert sinners, and bring us all to a knowledge of Your love.

These favors we beg in the Name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, Your only Son, Who reigns forever with You and the Holy Spirit, One God, through all ages. Amen.

We are dealing with both doctrine and ministry. As ministry affects doctrine, and vice versa.

To preach the Word of God, completely and unabated, one must focus fully on Christ. Mind and Body.

This is manifest in the Holy Roman Catholic Church. The anointed Church of Jesus Christ. The very rock the he had established in Apostle Peter.

One cannot serve two masters.

You are arguing with extramedullary examples, Glacier, though I credit you.

There was a great schism between the Western and Universal Roman Catholic Church with the Primacy of the East in such a way that was influenced by the Imperial disposition of Constantinople to monopolize Imperial Authority and Imperial Religion.

It was pride, ultimately, of the Eastern Roman Empire (Constantinole) that forgoed its oaths to the early church fathers, and its apostacy from the Roman Catholic Church. It branched from the true church teachings. History has not judged Constantinople favorably. As it was conquored the Muslim Turks in 1451, and its Primacy was moved continuously, moving to Bulgaria, then to Kiev in Ukraine, then even to Moscow Russia. There is no singular religious body in Eastern Orthodoxy, after its schism with Rome. Simply because the East dropped its recognition of Apostolic Primacy, that was in the Pope.

The presence of 'Eastern Catholics' and or 'Greek Catholics' is a recent phenomenon, that we see, which is an attempt of the East to reunify and re-integrate with the Western Roman Catholic Church.

Additionally, there are extradordinary clauses for Eastern Catholic Priests because Eastern Orthodox priests are allowed to marry. The main difference here is that eastern orthodox does not recognize the primacy of the Holy Father, the Pope of the Holy Roman Catholic Church.

So, what we see, in the development of 'Eastern Catholicism' is the mingling of Eastern Orthodox tradition with Catholic Tradition.

It is a recent phenomenon that has occured, Thank the Lord Jesus Christ, that has allowed the development of reunification between Catholics and Orthodox.

Traditionally, and gospel-wise, Catholic teachings are similar to Orthodoxy.

Pragmatics, my dear, it was pragmatics that led to the schism.

Praise be to God Almighty in Heaven, that there is unison in His Church and bridging of brothers.
i make myself clear here. my argument is that does married state of priests inhibit/lessen his ability to provide faithful ministry to people. i say: No. Why from our experience with other  denominations and brethren of Eastern rites, there is no absolute proof of denying its possibility. Married ministers have served as effectively as non-married priests do. i'm not talking of doctrine here. it's reality.
futhermore, early leaders of the church (post-apostoic times), called "elders", were married, chosen from among the faithful to SERVE and LEAD. celibacy was not a prerequisite. to cite an example, in the Acts, the apostles laid their hands upon Stephen and 6 others to serve the Word but there was no imposition of such rule that they should not marry, or only single can be allowed to serve the "ecclesia". yet, the communities grew each day.
the theologians of the church say that celibacy is not intrinsic to the priesthood. the priesthood of Christ is not about celibacy; it is about service (to put it simply) liturgically and pastorally. it's the ministry that defines the priesthood, not his state of celibate life. that's why anyone can serve, whether ordained or not, married or celibate. "kalooy sab sa pari no. inig human sa ordinasyon, moingon dayon ang mga tawo, AY SI FATHER DI NA MAKAASAWA. ingon pod tawn tong usa ka pari, "anu ba sa tingin nyo ang pagpapari, pigil lang nang pigil?"
i am saying i don't admire priests who are faithful to their celibate life and have done their service well to their flock. i do.
it is only that with my observation and understanding of this particular issue, the Roman Catholic Church has to be more open and listen to Spirit and the signs of the times...

soon-to-be-wives in the Eatern Catholics whose priests are allowed to marry are included  in the formation with their soon-to-be-husbands. i think they are happy.

Guise lang diay ning RH Program for the sake of collecting more and more funds for this program. Pag daghang funds dagko sab ang korakot, korek? I'll go for the natural method not the artificial ones. Actually, Family Planning was introduced as a regular subject when I was yet a college sophomore (1970?), and yet based on my observation, it has done nothing to control the growth of our population. With the span of more than three decades our population grow more than double now. The rate of increase is almost directly proportional to the amount of funds spent for this program each year, thus, making this country poorer than as it is before. As I see it, this program is a big waste of money for nothing except a clear destruction of our moral values and taxing peoples money. It never reduced the incidence of poverty but widens it year after year! Trash that Bill! Act now before we even realize that our country is buried deep under the mire of poverty.

indeed, and woe to those who think bishops are stupid about sex!!! LOL.

do you know that in America (incl. Canada), some priests of Anglican Church, who are married and with children, moved to Catholic Church (with their wife and kids)? although this situation faces some degree of grievances among Catholic clergy, maybe raises eyebrows among some conservative parishioners and poses some issues to Rome, these ex-Anglican priests serve or minister the people no any lesser than the Catholic clergy. Wives and children are not masters; they are partners. We are not dealing here with doctrine, but ministry.

i know. but we are not talking about the clintons, but Palin. during that interview, i didn't expect her to remember the facts, let alone be adept with all the general infos. many great politicians got screwed up in an interview; Palin got the hit because it was election campaign. had the interviewer asked her about the Philippines, she might  answer, "Where is it?" Live TV interview is a different world altogether. that blunder of hers could not solely define her character or knowledge. it tells however she is not ready yet for the second highest political seat in the USA.

This question is absurd because it's a fact Catholic priest cannot marry. What is the particular reason for pushing this point? is it just for the sake of getting married? Or is it in relevance to His ministry? Priesthood is not a state. it is a ministry. service. if so, does his getting married inhibit/lessen his ability to minister people? i think the debate lies here.
