Friends, how I've spent / celebrated my birthday? It was a gathering among close associates in work and in sports..coz it coincided with the Kingdom's holiday ( Eid Al-Adha ) when we hosted the Regional Basketball Games ( Battle of the Champions ) that was participated by the caliber teams from East and West of the Kingdom. Most of the guests were Bol-anons and sports enthusiasts ( organizers and players ).

Kon dinhi lang mo, siguradong apil... hehehe, pero tingbon nalang nato sa GRAND TB EB bisan dili birthday nako.

Thank you for counting me among the "probables" short list of candidates for gubenatorial position (from the non-traditional / political dynasty clan ).  I feel elated and honored for the trust of some TB members as manifested in some of their posts since I've joined TB; that I could make a difference in others' lives and much to the Boholano community.

Principle for sincere commitment, dedication, values and patriotism do not anymore stand as the priority in this present time as people are blinded with wrong concept/outlook vis-a-vis cheap money (meager amount)in exchange for their votes during election day ( forgetting what lies ahead ).

But I am still optimistic that we could initiate and manage change if we continue to stand what we believe is right and be infectious to the rest.... by then we can actualize... everyone must be an agent of change...

Sorry karon ra ko kabalik sa TB kay busy kaayo for the past days... kay nag tender man ko ug party for my birthday last December 20.  Besides, the United Filipino Basketball Federation whom am the Adviser hosted the Regional Basketball Showdown ( Batthe of the Champions ) which coincided the holiday ( Eid Al-Adha ) in Saudi Arabia for 6 days. 

Kon dinhi lang ang TB apil gyod... it was an intimate gathering among Boholanos and closer circles; and the next was the Christmas party at the same time among Bohol Overseas Workers and Community Credit Coop. ( BOWACCC ) held at the Jadawel City ( American Airforce Compound ).

So pasensya na, bisan gimingaw ko ninyo... magkita ra lagi ta tanan pohon sa GRAND EB.  Merry Christmas To All.

nindot gyod, every christmas lain-lain ang ilang theme... during my visit in 2001 in zurich, they had this colorful fatty angel hanging at the main train station with matching band down playing...and then when i went to Luxembourg, I found similar angel ( the artist might come from Luxembourg and presented it in zurich too )

my more than 2 decades stay in the Kingdom had provided me opportunities that could be translated into something that could contribute to Bohol's economic development... had some encounters where i've identified interested parties who would like to put up a business in the Philippines in the aspect of tourism.  I have not fully put all my energy on it as am constrained with priorities that I need to work on.  But it would not be a distant future where we could launch initially a venture where it would help improve the trend and lifestyle of every Boholano...

Let's spread the word...Bohol deserves to be noted as one of the world's best...hope all Bol-anons could live up to the expectation...

glad to be back after almost a week of absence... thanks for counting me among who could provide insights in setting and organizing a business for TB members.

Actually, a business is already in the pipeline and due for launching early or mid next year which covers all what you've discussed ( from A to Z ).  It is about events management, consultancy and outsourcing.  Basically it is total customer care.... providing products and services through a network of service providers that met quality standards.

Have initially discussed with some new bred of entrepreneurs who are also our colleagues in community and government service.  My intention of putting a thread relevant to business  here in TB (outsourcing is to gauge whom to tap and may have the interest to get involved or participate either as a provider or investor).

money cannot be paid only in return by money...it can be done with loyalty...with support, motivation.  We cannot parallel everything, that's is what we call complementary and supplementary...kon wala kwarta atong amigo, then we could help kon naa ta... kay dili raba hibaloan ang panahon, makulob og mahayang raba ... og sa streetlingua pa weather weather lang...but if we have that conviction of helping because we are more priveleged, then we dont have to expect in return...

On bad debts?  in friendship, we have to learn to segregate what is "hatag or bigay" kay sa "hulam o utang".  Kung negligible ra ang amount, we could let it go and consider it tulong o kalooy... mao nga dunay word nga " utang kabubut-on",  lisod man pod kon nawong ra ta kug kwarta...

friendship is not a one way process...it is give and take... not only take and take nor give and give..."as others said, it is like a bank account, you cannot withdraw ( get friends, solicit emotions, sympathy,etc. ) if you have not deposited (time, effort, money, emotions, etc.),  friendship should be mutually rewarding....

"deep friendship" is on the other thread... friends who stand by you throughout and no matter what could be even more than a family to you...

Hope this deep friendship could be manifested in many positive ways starting with our TB circles not only in words but in deeds and eventually to every community we are in...
