It's past 1 a.m. and I can't get over these songs.  The tragedy that happened with our friend here in TB made me reflect again how fragile life is.  It made me wonder why things happen like this.  I know there's a reason for things to happen but I have been forcing myself to fathom the unfathomable.  It made me worry that it would happen to my family and I am so scared to death.  My heart was so heavy but no tears came out.  These songs were like a key to my heart to release my pent up emotions!  I felt lighter now.  And this is the reason why Aira posted this here.  Amazing!

I will have these songs playing the whole night and tomorrow too!

I visited an old friend in the care home.  It didn't alleviate my sadness because it's always depressing to see old parents and grandparents just being dumped in the care home but it's okay because I made an old woman happy.  To see her face lit up to see me and still remember my name even if she has advanced dementia were priceless.

Gas went down to 3.99/liter gallon here in Sacramento area but along the way to LA, we saw some gasoline stations selling regular gas at 4.79/gallon.

Thanks for giving me the telephone number of Glen.  I got to talk to Glen.  He sounded so nice and very Bol-anon!  He thought I was the daughter of Tio Anjing kay kaila diay sya sa among uncle, the brother next to my Dad.  We will get in touch should we go to Hayward unya sya pod kon mag anhi sa Sacramento area.  Again, thanks, Macks! 

for the loss of his dear father and cousin after a tragic vehicular accident.  Their remains lie in state in Tuag, Lila.  may their souls rest in eternal peace and happiness with the Lord, our Maker. 

Let us offer our sincerest prayer for the whole family of Jez especially for the other members of the family who are still in the hospital.

Jez's dear father and cousin died in the accident.  His mother, brother, sister-in-law and cousin are in Ramiro hospital recuperating from their injuries. I hope not life threatening though.  This is very sad for the whole family of Jez and very sad for us too as Jez is our family.  I don't know what else to say but let's just pray God would somehow cushion the pain in their hearts.  If only it's possible to feel their pain and deduct it from the pain they are feeling right now...
