Starting this school year's commencement exercises, I have just started institutionalizing a recognition for deserving students/graduates.

I have just advised to the HIA Principal, Maam Fely F. Bolusa to include the following awards in the coming graduation ang this will become a yearly undertaking:

1.  Alumni President Award for Academic Excellence ( medal and cash  )
2.  Alumni President Award for Leadership ( medal and cash )
3.  Alumni President Award for Best in Extra-Curricular Activities (medal and cash)

Should you have some ideas on how to help our town and schools, please feel free to discuss with me and let us work as a team in infusing change....

About scholarship... our family have been supporting students in Holy Infant Academy for quite some time now, at least 10 students every school year (with much of the heap of assistance from Mardy & Christopher).  All others aside from  tuition.

This is in addition to my scholars in College....who are non-relatives.  Meron na akong natapos at full-pledged Dentist ( Dental Medicine ) at may graduating na rin ng Nursing.

Am grateful that you are into it...pohon inig uli nako... I will explore more on how we could enhance and uplift the learning potentials of Andahanon kids and the community as well.

As far as everybody knows, the biggest clan in Mabini is the family name of AYAG....  Talking about family names associated in Mabini, these are Bernales, Vallespin, Vallecera, Jotojot, Udtohan, Rances, Tuyor, Tutor, Olaivar, Piquero, Vallejos, Salaum, Simeon, Orias, Datahan, Simbulan, Talili, Vergara, Miano, Bayron...mao pa niy akong nahinumduman kay we left Mabini when I was 12 years old (pero magtandaan gihapon )...

Failures, mistakes, errors  shall be perceived as opportunities for growth... they are lessons to be learned....

For safety and security reason, maayo man kon walay trip sa gabii....but they have to learn the lesson.

After graduating high school diretso nako sa Cebu ( San Carlos ) hangtod pagka graduate diretso sa Manila for 3 years until niahi sa Saudi ( 22 years na ko dinhi ).

Nagpuyo mi ilang Nanet Amora, Geram & Mabeth (nga tua na sa Canada). Halos atbang mi nila anhing Lolo Lauro Ampong na balay, anhing Mama Moning Deligero (silingan nila ni Stella Amoguis ).

Maayo man kon mosulay ka paminsan-minsan nga wala sa atoa bisan mahal...ayaw lang permiha kon walay kuwarta ... hehehe kay mapordoy ka.

The people of Thailand (Thailanders) are nice too.  During my visits in Bangkok ( on two occasions ) I had the opportunity to meet a Thailander during my stroll along the main avenue and got befriended whose sister worked with Thai Airways.  Can't imagine them treating me the whole evening for bar hopping ....  and I love their food.

Even here in Saudi (AlKhobar in particular ), Thai restaurants have sprouted. We have Nakonsawan, Bangkok, Thai House, Chaing Mai, Phuket... puro sarap ang luto.  Lalo na sa Bangkok along the sidewalks....

Long time no hear.... missed yah... talking about Japan, kahibalo baya ko sa una ug Niponggo kay I studied Japanese man in preparation for a scholarship sana sa Tokyo or Sofia University through the Japan Technical Cooperation Program sa JICA.  I used to work with a Japan financed project in the Philippines, mao nga sa una mahilig sad mag collect ug mga Japanese items.

Collecting is a nice past time.

Gimingaw nako sa atong kanhing panag estorya niining dapita...Few months from now, mouli na ko for good... and I have dreams of creating a circle of artists... composed of singers, dancers, actors, designers, scriptwriters... and all other art forms.  Are you familiar with the UP WITH PEOPLE in the USA? Got some friends from Cebu who were alumni of this movement...they're great people.

I want to develop the talents of the teens to adolescents...giving them the opportunity to enhance and display their craft and at the same time earn for a living though not as a career but part of  lifestyle... In the corporate world, the new bred of successful entrepreneurs are ARTISTS as powerful "DESIGNERS..."  WE ARE THE INNOVATORS....

there is a question of leadership.... because those who are in powers are tolerant of the practice if not... they dwelt on it first... how would you cut when those in the top also advocated the practice?

If they have that clean concience and honestly thru to their morals, then they have to rectify this no matter what it will bring even to affecting their interests....
