The reason why I brought up this issue about MSG kay kining among friend whose husband died, naga novena mi karon for the 40th day which is tomorrow.  She has this huge pack of vetsin.  Daghan man food so now dili nko magkaon sa iyang food na giluto kay natingala jud ko sige'g sakit akong ulo lately na lahi bitaw na sakit.  Anyway today, she was making fried rice.  I never thought she would put vetsin sus pagtilaw nko kay grains of vetsin man jud akong natilawan.  nah, dretso gawas oi and more!  Dili na jud makaya as in!

Before when I was experiencing chest problem, my friend doctor in manila told me to take half a tablet of aspirin  but little did I know that the aspirin aggravated my bleeding ulcer.  When I was rushed to the emergency, one of the first few questions the doctors asked me was if I was taking aspirin.  I said, just a little.  They told me to stop taking it and to be careful in taking pain reliever that it should not contain aspirin.

Dili ko ganahan sa una ug pumpkin and didn't even want to try it but after ko naka try, ok ra diay but I don't eat store-bought pumpkin pie.  I prefer to make my own pumpkin pie.  sayang lang walay tarong na pumpkin sa garden karon as in isa lang pero gamatoy kaayo na upawan sa kalabasa na pirte kadaghan.  Last year, I was able to make 4 pumpkin pies from our little garden. 

Instead of pumpkin, pwede naman siguro kanang yam nila dire kay orange man pod na.  I lung-ag or i microwave lang, payts na!

I think I prefer RA 7610 than in 9262 where my rights as a woman are bundled up with the rights of children. Pwede man ubang provisions sa 9262 gi incorporate sa 7610. Children are special because most of them can not take care of themselves whereas women in general had, over the years succeeded in having as much rights (and control) as the men.   In RA 9262, mura man gud magamit ang child in a tug of war between parents.

Thanks, bolingitboy.  I read RA 9262 with the hope that I can find something to somehow balance out the rights of men to women and children.  Could there be another Republic Act that protects the right of men?    Kidding aside, I think the men in Congress and the Senate, mind you in great number as compared to women, failed to protect as well the rights of men.  Well, it is common knowledge that women and children are more vulnerable than men but then again, as I read RA 9262, I was looking for a provision or two that  punishes individuals who untruthfully report cases that can be considered "acts of violence" as described in this law.

Dong, you know I can be so maldita as in tigress but the Holy Spirit was working on me ganina kay as I said, I was even surprised that I was cool while the other volunteer workers who learned about the incident were really fuming! They all have common reaction, "well, too bad!" hahaha 

I had a long day!  I was at the Feed The Needy and we were caught by surprised at the number of people who showed up.  Usually the first two weeks of the month, we only expect about 50 people but today we had over a hundred!  Nagpaila lang the financial difficulty people are experiencing nowadays.  Anyway, today we made and served beef taco, spanish rice, vegetable salad, fudge, fruit salad and  salsa.  Only a few volunteers showed up so we had to work harder today.  Then, while serving food, I was called by this man and he told me, "this food is not warm.  I can't eat cold food.  see this?"  He gave back the plate to me to have the food reheated.  I didn't know how to react in situation like that so I told the lead person.  He told me to tell the guy "too bad!"  Really, we  still had to serve a lot of people and here's this one person who wants to have his food steaming hot.  So I politely told him, that was the food we were serving.  He grab the plate and said, "I guess I can eat this!"  Tsolokoy, he even asked for second helping!  Ngek jud!  But I was surprised with my reaction kay wala jud ko nag minaldita. heheheh

Korek!  Daghan kaayo watchdogs dire.  One time my friend and I had dinner at the Spaghetti Factory.  Didto jud mi sa corner na makapatuyang mi'g tabi.  Then came a couple with about a two year-old son.  All was well then this kid was playing his food and the mother slightly hit the hand of the boy.  Sus na unsa ba na ang woman next to our table stood up and talked to the mother na what she was doing wasn't right daw.  The mother said "okay" while the father didn't say anything.  The boy continued to play with his food so gikuha sa father ang plate ug gipalayo.  ngek, ningduol na pod ang woman ug gi koreksyonan sila.  Na unsa ba nag taas naman ang tingog sa mother to leave them alone.  Nag threaten na ang pakialamera na woman na isumbong sila sa CPS (Child Protective Services).  Nanindog na lang ang couple ug ning lakaw after they settled their bill at the counter.

On Obama, makita ra unya ang katag sa election day but yeah, it's disheartening especially makita nako mag jama-jama si Palin use the word terrorist!  Pakno jud!  Mura ba ipang hadlok mga katawhan but it turned out na baliktad ang effect sa mga katawhan kay nagka widen man ang lead ni Obama over McCain.
