Lindy your partialy right. The swertez yes, but the drugs no and yes Cebu legal authorities were brought in to handle the raid an on the spo bust of Mayor's freind who is the barangay captain.
I have not heard any news further that is regarding the case that your talking about it was last year that it happened.
Anyways be forwarned I heard tonight and not the first time if your talking about Mayor Lim in bad ways he does not like it one little bit.
Look at the batchoy and Mayor Lim incident.
And this week we had the two media personalities of DYrd who are partners on TBN service program at night and Mayor had made a letter to the Eng. Signe to shut of both the media mens power in their homes at capitol valley. (The two media personalities are Jerry Pabe and Jerry Cajes).
I know for a fact Jerry has not bad mouthed Mayor Lim on TBN as I am there everynight with him in the studio assisting the many visitors who come in.
Supposedly Mayor got wind and I can say it is the wrong wind and some people made storeis that Pabe had used TBN program to attack Mayor Lim. That is out right rumor's and lies.
I have never heard Anchorman Pabe say a mean word about anyone.
Pabe is running for city council position as an independant.
Story I am off track but I am just letting people know examples of what Mayor Lim is capable of doing in people bad mouth him.
No one dared to question the barangay captain incident since he is a good freind of the Mayor here.

You know, love is just like waiting for a bus. When the bus comes,
you look at it and you tell yourself "Geee...so full....can't sit down.
I'll wait for the next one". So you let the bus go and waited for the second bus.
Then the second bus came,
you looked at it and say, "Yuck...this bus is so old...so shabby!"
So you let the bus go and again, decided to wait for the next bus.
After a while another bus came, it's not crowded, not old but you said, "g***... not air-conditioned,
better wait for the next one". So, again you let the bus go and decided to wait for the next bus.
Then suddenly the sky got dark as it was going to pour hard.
You panicked and jumped immediately on to the next bus.
It was not until much later that you found out that you had boarded the wrong bus!
So you wasted your time and money waiting for the bus that you wanted!
But even if an air-conditioned bus came,
there was no way you could be certain that the air-conditioned bus
won't break down or whether the air conditioner suited you well. So people,
wanting to get on the bus that you want is not wrong per se.
But it definitely wouldn't hurt if we sometimes try boarding a bus that passes us by chance, right?
If you find that the "bus" doesn't suit you just press the red button and get off the bus! (as simple as that!) Fair enough?
You don't think so?.... But hey, who said life is fair?
The best thing to do is open your eyes wide while you probe the bus.
i said it before and I'll say it again, "If it doesn't suit you, get off".
But you must always have an extra something, which you could use for the next bus that comes,
But wait... I'm sure you had this experience before...
You saw a bus coming (the bus that you want, of course)
flagged it but the driver acted as if he did not see you and zoomed past you!
It just wasn't meant for you! The bottom line is,
being loved is like waiting for a bus you want.
But getting on the bus that just comes along
and appreciating it by giving it a chance depends totally on you.
If you haven't made any choice, WALK! Walking is like being out of love.
The good side of it is you can still choose any bus you want...
Well, the rest who couldn't afford another ride
would just have to be content with the bus they rode on, ugly or not.
So in choosing your bus, it's better to choose a bus you are already familiar with
rather than gamble with a bus that is unfamiliar to you.
But, then again, life wouldn't be complete without the risks involved. ^♥^
One more thing… there’s one bus that I forgot to tell you about
-THE BUS THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR...
IT WILL JUST STOP ON ITS OWN AND WILL ASK YOU TO COME INSIDE
AND TAKE YOU FOR A FREE RIDE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE ^â—‹^

hahaha moagik-ik na lang ko kay basin motaas akong alta.
Duha ra ka posibilidad na, either "mother tanga," meaning, mother sa tanang agol-ol... or, "tanging ina" aw "tang ina" diay... when you curse a low life.
I'll find something worse later...

Magbinugoy na pud ...
One evening a man was at home watching TV and eating peanuts. He'd toss them in the air, and then catch them in his mouth In the middle of catching one, his wife asked him a question and as he turned to answer her, a peanut fell in his ear.
He tried and tried to dig it out but succeeded in only pushing it in deeper. He called his wife for assistance, and after hours of trying they became worried and decided to go to the hospital.
As they were ready to go out the door, their daughter came home with her date. After being informed of the problem, their daughter's date said he could get the peanut out.. The young man told the father to sit down, then proceeded to shove two fingers up the father's nose and told him to blow hard.
When the father blew, the peanut flew out of his ear. The mother and daughter jumped and yelled for joy. The young man Insisted that it was nothing. Once he was gone, the mother turned to the father and said, 'That's so Wonderful! Isn't he smart?
Do you think he's going to be a doctor when he grows older?'
The father replied, 'From the smell of his fingers, he's going to be our son-in-law.'

I agree with you trademark ang ako lang pod unta nga mahatagan lang pod unta ug higayon ang uban nga mga aspiring young politician diin adunay ability to lead and govern our province.Usa pa aron pod unta dili masamok ang ilang grupo. Again its only my own opinion. For Aumentado, I have a big respect for him kay kaila ko ini niya nga tawhana sukad pa sa panagkauban nilag pamolitika sa akong amahan.
In politics, age is not much of a hindrance. Look as Fidel Ramos, he was 64 when he was elected, at age 70 he was still serving as our president. Biden, the vice president of America is 64, born 1942. Mayor Alfredo LIm, now over 80 still active in politics and is a very good leader, not even youn aspirants can come close to his achievements, been a senator, DILG secretary, etc. It only shows, in poltics, exprerience, dedication, legacy, workmanship is the key factor and not age my friend. I have nothing against young politicians, but older and exprerienced politicians is proven to govern well. But if you a are corrupt and merely using your power in politics for your own glory. if you become greedy and and has no intention whatsoever to help the poor....then, only then you should rest and retire...even if you are young.!!!

Why can't the Herrera boys find a sprinkling of achievements for the vice governor in his past nine years?...sige man lang ko ngayo...ani wala jud tubag...instead...they keep on coming with unfounded issues, just to evade this achievement issue...puro negative...why don't they come up with the positive aspects of Herrera? wala ba diay?
