Marten was never proven guilty of the charges. Tourism police will do anything to make some money on the side.

I was told by Martin that mothers and they're daughters were approached by PNP members to allegate fake charges against Martin as a rapist.

The girls I heard were supposedlt told that if they had went up against Martin they would be gaurunteed 5000 peso.

Certain panglao police members have been known to haggle foreign tourist and take advantage of them.

I am telling you Martin had become a very dear and loved freind of the Atty. Lim family and any other business man or freind he made here see's martin as not the picture that is being painted by some people here.

Two suspects are in custody I have both names and one is a woman and the other is a  young high school boy.

He had attended Manga High School.

The girl was aprehended in Siera bouilunas, and the boy in town.

The boy confessed so far into stabbing Martin JUST 5x's

The investigator told me today that the motive in why the young boy stabbed Martin was because of getting into a confrontation.

Supposedlt according to the alleged suspects hear say Martin picked up a large object and then the boy went for the stab.

1-2-3-4-5-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?-?

I was not informed of the girls words as far as how she had tesiteid because while i was interveiwing Inspector E. Chan he was ordering hhhis boy's to go after the girl in seira boulinas police headquarters and bring her into the Tagbilaran city police station for questioning and to hold her into custody.

Both alleged suspects are in custody as untill now.

Later i will add an email from Tony Harris who has informed me that he has contacted already the British Interpole and martins parents.

The british embassy is handling the dispose of Martin ...

I would hope?

Many freinds of Martin who know martin are pissed that they say he is a chicks boy and chasing girls what freaks and I really want to talk to the security guard at the place that said that.

Cover up or big time ruthless fabrication. If we kill a man for being a chicks boy then I maybe the world would have more women then men living in it.

So next time i see a chick boy I was just call him "MARTIN".

This chick boy rape case s*** blows my mind maybe 2-3 nights a week we spent many a night chatting at in town establishments untill often 2am or 3am and in no way is he how or near to how they describe him.

I asked the investigator to show the proof?

The security guard words only are good enough for him? Thats wrong!

Martin checked in with an employee of his who was a witness in his previos court cases they would check in there so they would not have to drive far from his house in Panglao to his atty. appointments and his court appointments.

the exact reason martin had text to me saying he was going to pay an amount of money to lim the following morning since he had missed his appointment the day before for taking back his freind to her province.

Martin had asked for some foreigners to sit in on his restraining order case this friday for moral support.

It's too late for that what has been done has been done.

I did fullfill a dream of Martins and that was I started an International association here that we had discussed last week together to help those foreigners coming here who have harrassing law on them or have been victims in a crime.

I had taken his picture to the meeting today and placed it on the table beside the picture in a local newspaper that had showed his body lifeless and mangled.

We the foreigners and the Filipino of the group freinds of Martin will not stand for this as accepted excusses or reasoning to brutally murder someone.

I will post our manifestation, letter of comprehension later on that we signed today.

The Juvenile Justice Act law had better not play any role in this case what so ever Martin would never hurt anyone he would try to help the person instead.

I am mad!

Blog later.

If anyone is in the local media please contact me before you dare print anything negative or hear say.

Marten was not proven guilty about rape.

Respect my dear friend how I would respect yours in this situation.

Print just the facts not the hear say.

Since i know who Martens friends are here and they talk great about how wonderfull he truly was.

My update,

There was a personal school ID of a high school student that was remain at the crime scene in mansasa near to Martens body.

I am asking foreigners who live here to attend the safety and welfare meeting at Brews Point Soledad Suites today at 5PM.

It has been really hard to organize a meeting some foreign men have no interest.

Very poor attitude. some have expressed interest.

Wish me well.

Thanks!
#606
let us try to meet at 5PM

Thank You!

I emailed freind of Marten in England he is very upet in his email as he had just went back home from Tagbilaran.

I did not go into detail but i did let him know that I and my publisher had gone there togive our respects at the morgue.

I told him that I am prresently trying to do what marten would want me to do in this sittuation.

That would be tostart up a foreigner association group to help foreigners who are victims of crime.

I also told him we will do our best in the media as far as the Bohol Standard and the Bohol chroncle are in partnership to cover this story.

In janurary I had taken this write up on the first attempted homicide to the Sunday Post but Boy Guing the publisher did not expose the story.

I am sure they will jump on it now that he has been murdered.

This late afternoon I would like all foreigners living here to meet at brewspoint to discuss our safety here while in Bohol.
We should make a statement so that Governer can get it by Governers report and make some actions on how he plans to better everyones safety.

I will be inviting guest speakers to talk with the group today here in Tagbilaran.

This is an invitation letter to all foreigners visiting and living here in bohol as either short term or as a permanent resident. Please contact my in box if you are attending the emergency meeting today o get the ball rolling for a safer Bohol

Bloke is the common English term for respecting men in in England Marten wanted me to call him bloke.

I have heard from the atty. network that his wife atty. said that her client went to the morgue late afternoon yesterdayb to look at the body and left.

It is not clear whether or not she is making arrangements.

The law firm handling Marten's case are sad as hey have lost a kind freind.

We all had a difficult time of sleeping last night when we wanted to just remember marten for his goodness.

New's in todays chronicle was not accurate. The case schelduled for this friday was for a restraining order not for rape as stated.

the name of Martens bar is SHE BAR not Sea bar as mentioned by the Bohol Chronicle.

I need to go now as I have just received an email from Tony in England who is Martens best freind who was planning at first to build a business besides Martens bar but because of what happend to Marten he packed out.

I will let you know what he sais.

I need to give him the bad news.

My column title read like this on the second interveiw "Foreign Business Owner's in panglao say SOS

I had mentioned about the poisoning and how scared Marten was and how he would like to have the government  help conrol tjhings better to encourage foreign investors to want to invest.

He complained to me about the harrassment of the Panglao Tourism police.

He told me they harrassed him constantly. They were even going to houses and trying to convince young girls who knew Marten to lie and say that he had raped them and that they would be guarunteed 5000 peso's

A couple of girls made sworn affidavits that they were asked to go up against marten.

Some one has to be behind this and maybe they are canvassing behind VOWC.

I will get into that later.

I told my publisher Atty. Lim who is Martens Atty that is seemed rather strange how one Atty. here has a double case in one weeks time that has two wives both with murdrered husbands?

I would hate to be in her shoes to VIA BOHOL MURDER and now Alona Panglao's "SHE BAR" owner. Both her clients husbands are murdered.

Marten spoke to me often during the week at either Bojols, Brewpoints, Gerry's grill, Dunkin Donuts, ICM, we would take snacks together.
I always told him to be carefull.

We had even talked about and treid to make appointments with the Governor to introduce a new foreigner association but the Governor is always out.

Yesterday Marten was to see Atty. Lim but said he was in Ubay and told Atty. that he would see him yesterday at 9am.

Marten never showwed up for his appointment. Martens was found murdered yesterday along the shores of Mansasa bay.

His stomach parts were found hanging from tree's he was stabbed and slashed 14 times. After the brutal killing he had been dragged some 30mitres to the shore.

The trail of blood was the clue. I would like to know where is this so called trusted lady freind of his who told Marten she was a tour guide and a model from Cebu?

She use to accompany him and I also told Marten be carefull about everyone here. She worked in his bar.
She had some sort of pains a couple weeks ago he took here to the hospital they were staying in a local hotel while having court cases in town.

Marten was a great person he had a good heart and he was treated like crap!

One night in Alona a Filipino had an accident on his motor Marten loaded him into his own truck and took him all the way to tagbilaran hospital. Unfortunantly the motor victim passed away a couple of hours later.

Marten had many freinds here both foreigner and Filipino. I am sorry my mind keeps going back to the morgue scene when Atty. Lim and I had gonr together to see Marten sewn up cold bloated body embalmed waiting for todays visit from the NBI.

I stood at the door crying with my daughter looking at a sweet freind who I could barely recognize. I think I am tired and I have had a long day. Atty. im was also angered at who could be so brutal and and was kept busy using my Camera's taking pictures.

I need to end it here. I am to upset to go on much further.

I have supplied DYRD and Bohol Chronicle all day with info about Marten.

Please Boholanos pray for Martens justice.

I will do my best to keep you updated.

Shortly after the article was published another man was hired and had brought a bottle of poison and placed it on the bar in front of one of Martens bar owners and offerred here money to poison her boss.

Untell now I have saved some of Martens text the one explainiing the poison is still in my phone.

The guy hired to do the job was also the x boyfreind of the bar employee she reussed to do the offer.

British bar Owner nearly missed by assasinators Bullets

Martin Williams a British national from Liverpool England was a near miss target two times in a shooting incident last Sunday night inside his business establishment “She Bar” located on Rona’s corner, and near to Alona entertainment center located Tawala, Panglao Island.
Martin was sitting at his bar side counter entertaining British guest when all of a sudden his doorman shouted out loud “He has got a gun!” warning employees and patrons inside the establishment while two long caliber rifle bullets were fired off inside of the foreign owner’s establishment according to Williams and his report with both the tourism police and the local municipal PNP station of Panglao.
Williams told Bohol media that he believes the bullets were intended for him in last Sunday’s incident that had occurred around half past eleven in the evening.
Williams said he was able to get the customers and his employees to safety by letting them run out the back door since it was the disco room that they had run into at his establishment.
Williams said that he can not recall having any grudges or any reason as to what could be the motive for the incident that had taken place last week at hi bar.
Around 11 o’clock PM last Sunday Jan, 11th, two witnesses am Angelina Arboleras and a Teresita Cardiente 23 years of age saw an unidentified male person wearing long black pants and a black tee shirt who had appeared in front of the She Bar establishment and pulled out a an unidentified fire arm two times while using a silencer towards the inside of the bar. The first bullet hit the bamboo fence and scathed along top the table and landed down on the bar’s lower concrete portion.
The second bullet fired landed into the corner portion of the bar under the bar. Both two pieces of ammunition were recovered at the crime scene and the evidence is being held at the Tawala PNP Tourism police outlet post.
Martin said in the interview that it had taken him around ten minutes to notify the tourism police about one minute walking distance from his place..
In his life right at hand Williams’s number one priority and concerns is his life’s safety being that he is a foreign business owner here. And that he hopes that the police and the provincial governor make steps in preventing such things as what took place from happening again.
Williams also told to the local media that he is planning to meet up with Bohol’s provincial Governor Erico Aumentado and would like to discuss such matter’s as being able to motivate and move police in a much faster and better way in protecting the safety and life of those who come to be tourist and are planning on becoming foreign investor’s here in Bohol.
Williams enjoys being able to live and own a business in Bohol but would like to see that safety be faster and better improved.
After the shooting incident had taken place in William’s bar he said on Monday the following day he made fast action in hiring for himself his own personal bodyguard who now goes to work with him and goes home with him to live.
Williams said he is adamant in capturing his suspect shooter and said that he is willing to give out a cash reward of PhP 20.000.00 for the direct information leading to the actual arrest and prosecution.
As of late Friday night when the Bohol standard tried to follow up this crime situation in Panglao according to mayor Acala’s Secretary Arthur B. Arboladura the mayor had not yet been informed of the incident taking place in what will soon become a prime tourist destination for Bohol.
The right informant person who gives out the proper information that leads to the actual arrest will be kept confidential regarding his identity.
Williams has made flyers in the binocular language for locals in Panglao in order to inform them that there will be a cash reward and already has it posted at his bar where the crime scene crime had taken place.
Other foreign business management from Alona Beach shared with the media after interviewing Williams, that what has happened last Sunday in Alona at “She Bar” has everyone on edge who is a foreigner handling a business in Alona Beach Panglao these past few day’s.

The news I am about to tell is for a mature audeince.

The detalis of this event will be described graphically.

and in order of sequence in respect to being a good freind  with the victim and the only one here to write about the case from the first attempted homicide.

There was also a second homicide attempt

Then the final homicide attempt was gruesome down to the last detail.

I will post about the deadly grotesque state in how my freinds body was found.

Before going into details of this mornings really horrible findings I will post my write up from an interveiw i had with Marten in early Janurary.

Marten Williams age 43 from Liverpool England. Marreid to a Filipina in England in an arranged wedding in England, A freind of martens introduced his wife freind via mail. The wife of Marten is a freind of his freinds Filipina wife.

When i met Marten over a year a go he told me he was leasing a bar and had a wife who was really mean to him. He also said the wife had run off to another province with the couples baby that is born in England.

He also told me about the property and 10mllion house he had built in panglao, the house is very big and very beautif.

I warned Marten not to be to trusting.

7-9 months later my freind calls me and tels me he needs my help to expose his story and that he has an alleged suspect trying to assainate him. We had met later in the morning at Gerry's Grill. That is when Marten told me that someone in black pants and a black shirt had come from behind the bushes and fired two live amunition aimed and intended for him.

I will post up the first rough draft to my firs write up regarding Marten and what he told me during the interview. I will then post some of what I said in a column in the newspaper in a second follow up interveiw.

Then i will go into the gory and horrid way in how my British foreign freind was murdered.

When I introduced Marten to Atty. Lim Martens exact words were "I am worth more dead than alive!"

If I can not finnish this build up of events then i will work on it after I wake up as it is almost 430am here.

#613
I am going to make a new tpic reply since the one being used is not the correct title.

I am going to set the record straight as Martens freind (Victim).

Marten came to me in early janurary........British bloke murdered in
Tagbilaran...

The problem here with what you are saying Glaceir is most people here are hadlok of being a witness.

For some reason unknown to me is many people here like it when scum can run they're lives. I thought that people who beleive in God and go to church are strong because of God but I see it diferent here so many cases are deadball because no witness to testify. If you people want this to continue then be weak if you want to fight for a better place then fight for what is right do not ever coward down.

Stand up!Make a change for once for a happeir and safer community.

Thank You also for the support behind Joe.

I will do my best to keep you all posted as I normally do when I am the one to start the topic.

The story on the violation on an American human rights will be the front story on the page of "The Bohol Standard" in tommorows edition of the paper.

It is a lengthy write up which introduces the victim, talks about him being in the Navy for 20 years and that he also helped the Philippines while in the Navy, he had received several medals, and then i re-enact by nararatting into printed wordswhat had happened to him.
I then go into an aftershock interview with the victim, then I end the write up by saying what he plans to do and plans to accomplish.

I am sure in this Sundays Bohol issses of Newspapers here there will be write ups regarding the Threats received by a Willie maestrado. The blottered incident mentions threats in visaya and said that the subject who is part of the police task force here in the city was also found waiting for Nestor daarol to pass him by on the corner of M. Torralba and Inting Strt.

The name of the person is said to be a task force member according to a reliable source. He is known by the name od Jido Lopena and resides in Manga Dist in Tagbilaran City.

This what the warning statement was for Nestor who came from Jido;
"Magbantay siya  nako nganong gihilabtan kaming tulo nga maoy nag-guba sa breeding center"

Busy week indeed! Joe is now being handled in the great care of Atty. Lim and associates at the Trabajo Lim office here in Tagbilaran City.

Joe is being advised to file a case and report it to the US embassy after it is already filed into the court. I have already invited some local media to take a personal interveiw and distributed documents and photos of the detained area in where Joe was locked up for over 12 hours against his will.

I have been guiding my freind on where to go and what to get for preparing his case.

Joe will file his case Monday with the Fiscal. We have given also blotters of all threats and on going harrassment from Joe's family.

I just got done doing a step by step write regarding Human Rights.

We are hoping for the following publications to print the story Bohol Chronicle, Cebu freeman, Cebu Sunstar, Manila Inquirer, The Bohol Standard, and the Manila Bulletin have all showed an interest through their representative in Bohol. and in Manila.

Stay Tuned!
#621
untill now it is being withheld as the victim was a minor child and things like this are not available to put in the media here.
#622
It was recently blottered just one week after the BTMA had put out a write up regarding harrassment asmentioned above the next media man who has fallen victim to threats from the city law/government according to the last blog was by a task member who said he was looking for Nestor Darral and had told the two media members from DYRD that the are to deliver a message of threat from him if they see him again.

Peter Dejerasco would like for all media outlets to place the news in print this coming Sunday before his men start to discuss the issue over the airwaves. Unnfortunantly i have a copy of what was blotttered but the writing is really hard to understand.

I hope by later today I can have a clearer translation of what is being said exactly.

This years BTMA members are comprized of 99% RD/Chronicle.

Lito Responte of DYTR/911 Radio is President
Vice President is Peter Dejerasco
Vice President "Print" Loy Polapos
Ben Areigo was appointed in a none voting position from dyrd/congressman chatto staff as the secretary for the group.
Treasurer is Gerry Pabe

Among other board memebers. Election this year were pretty much finished when the van bringing over none dytr and non rd/chronicle media people to the christmas party in Dauis at Bohol plaza resort.

I would love to serve on the board but not a chance when they have for two consequitive years never waited for the vans with other media arriving before the nominations are to late to be handed in its pretty useless.

I can always predict the board members and the awarding results to be the same from year to year.

To me it is sort of like a broken cd and a waste of time to be present at such events.

I am use to being on committees who are good about handling things in a nice way.

Whats the use of paying for membership when there are no words or minutes being passed out on what the meeting topics were.

What kind of a club is rhis a VIP?
#625
Calle that sounds nice hapit naa sa Apil!

What days are you expected to be here by?

Just PM me for my cell number I am also looking forward to meeting you and any other TB members in person.

I find it hard to talk to the group of Dan Lim and Ted Ayeng alomg with they'reother rught armed men in the group. They are just g*** darned high on their high horses to give a fling crap about the livlihood of the people it is as if certain business people here keep on licking his butt to cash in on him for what they can get.

I text to ted Ayeng this night and told him to real it in and to remember who his real freinds are not tyhe ones he has to suck up too!

Mark Monton no sense in joking around with him as he is to darned pinched up what ever his petty baggage ma be.

Media acts like they do not know me when they are in his circle (mayor's).

Oh but when they want favors such as foodsand beers when he is not around who do you think they come running too?

Do they treat me ever?

Yes' one man has truly stood beside me thru thick and thin and he is a good person and he knows who he is and I hope God reservs a a specail place in heaven for his good manners. I will keep his name close to my heart and his media outlets confidentual.

If he reads this he knows what ythis means..Keep In Touch!

Tonight after two days of looking for my Joe the kidnapped suspect I had received a text message that the suspect bayut had gone to the new rented room of the American retired Navy man with his wife and the bayut still continuing to harras the suspect at his residence.

Later after receiving the text message from the American freind living here I ran into Joe who admitted and confirmed the text message of my other freind. When i had asked Joe why he punched his suspect he repleid; "I have to do something since the law will not help us!" "Canyou beleiv the runt then ran to the police staton and blottered that I had beat him up!"

I informed Joe that good help was coming back to Bohol to help him and that he must calm himself down considering what he has been through and continues to go through.

I have yet to make my visit with the Governor or the Congressman yet about what is happening to foreigners as well.

Foreigners shuld stick together and organize and protect ourselves here if the government and law is unwilling!
#628
Roach- It is interesting that you would say that about tourist! When in fact I already can name you a hanfull of foreigners here who are so sick of this crap that when they go home and if things do not improve or get better they well expose what kind of a place it truly is here these days.

Do you honestly think it is a safe place for locals let alone tourist to be here lately?

I would rather have the scum off the streets and then reconsider invitiing tourist again to the island. I honestly have no money interest for tourism here neither do I have a conflict of interest to state the real trueth.
#629
This is the first that i have heard of this news. I will do my best to catch up with the latest info and try to post what it is that I am able too?

Its a far out of the way place. the bus ride there is killer. would need to leave early in the morning so i could return back to Bohol before the last van leaves the aread to get the news from the police station. how horrible of the parents to do such a thing if they had really locked up the kids makes me hope that they also will die or get locked up for life in Cabawan Prison near to Corella here in Tagbilaran city.

May the kids rest in peace and may injustice be served on to the parents for how they treated they're kids. there is no morbid excuse for what they have done. This news just makes me mad by the day as seems are just getting out of control here.

Whats being repoted as of now is a bad heart.

Well said buddy Feil!

The Bohol Chronicle had given a more detailed againt to what had taken place. There was an order by city mayor Dan lim to take down the man made make shift hut ussed for the suspect shooter during his grim crime against Taray.

The chronicle also mentioned that a hat, a 45 revolver with one more bullet inside of it, and a red shirt were not left far from the crime scene.

The killer is expereinced they say by how he had asually walked away from doing his job as a hired killer.

A motor bike abandoned was also turned over to the police investigating team the bike had been abandoned betweeen the crime scene and Taray's residence in Basak, barangay Toloto.

SPO3 Renerio Arana heads the investigating team along with SPO3 Edgar Chan and SPO1 Yolando Bagothcay

Two Teenagers both under 18 years of age checked into a local el cheapo short time lodge  here inside of Tagbilaran City and during love making between the two the boy died.

Makes one wonder if Hotels resorts and short time check in establishments are checking for proper age and ID before check in?

Activity planned in Danao for tombstone laying activity.A Heroes Tombstone to Placed in honor of Final Resting Spot of Dagohoy’s  “War Heroes”
By;  Priscilla Richards

This April 5 2009 along with expected guest Congressman Edgar M. Chatto 1st District, and A.E. Damalerio 1st Board Member Panlalawigan from Bohol along with other special guest are expected to present when the laying down ceremony of the Dagohoy Commemorative Tombstone.
Participants who are interested in experiencing EAT DANAO outdoor activities can register and pay up in advance package will include the following zip-line or trekking, transportation and lunch. Early registrants can avail the cost at PhP650.00 up till March 30th, and late registration will cost PhP700.00 the registration will take place at one of the sponsoring places at the Outdoor Adventure Store and Island Buzz Café located at Gallares St. near to Ramiro hospital.
Danao Bohol will now have a tombstone placed in the heart of the adventure spot known as EAT Danao Adventure Park.
Sponsorship of the Dagohoy Commemorative Tombstone and the organization for this coming Aprils event includes the following; HABAGAT which mean southwest wind, which is a wind that most fishermen will not be known to adventure out in and are afraid of it due to its strong gusts, the Bohol Outdoor Adventure Team including it’s close to 30 member’s and the Outdoor Adventure Store Mexican Food Cafe owned by one of its members Erwin Budlong “Buzzy” located in Bohol. The organization and business support behind the purchase of the tombstone originated with the ideal of placing a commemorative stone for the Spanish war heroes who died during the 1744-1829 war against the Spanish Rule.
Last year in Danao a cycling activity had taken place known by Visaya adventurist as the Visaya’s Mountain Festival the activity passed through and into Danao and the one night  when the visiting outdoorsmen groups  sat around drinking beer while sharing friendship with the Towns mayor Thomas Gonzaga a concern was brought up by the adventure participants when the discussion of Dagohoy dead war heroes had come up in their conversation, the group asked why is it that there lays no commemorative marker or some sort of plaque or even a tombstone to give some sort of indication that there should be peace, rest and respect for the final resting place of Dahohoy’s dead war heroes and to that this is the place where some of the war heroes remain from their final stand.
The municipal of Danao over time has been gathering and safe keeping the bones from its adventure caves and are keeping them inside of their adventure museum to keep people from eluding them from the caves where they are found. As explained by Buzzy during the interview for this write up that in the past the caves were being eluded so Danao now keeps a close tight  protective watch on everything when it comes to caring and preserving its heroes.
The tombstone reads;
“For 85 long years Danao Cradled the Longest Revolution, (1744-1829) Adainst Spanish Rule. Freedom Fighter Francisco Dahohoy and patriotic Boholanos Lived as Free and Sovereign People during the 85 year stance.”
“They did not render forced labor nor pay tribute. They suffered neither racial discrimination nor social humiliation from the hands of the Spaniards. Here lies some of those patriots who chose to die as a freemen.”

I just want you guys to know this is the second write up I have done in one month when it comes to foreigners being put into a victim stage.

Last month I had writen about a British Bar owner having  3attempted homicide attmpts intended for him

Two gun shots were fired and lodged into the foreigners bar but the British owner was luckily missed while he was entertaining guest behind his bar.

The third attempt came when an unidentifeid male approached the bar offering money to poison her boss as he had set down the poison and the money in front of his bar employee but instead she refussed to have anything to do with it.

The British national has a Filipina wife and a one year old daughter together with her foreigner husband. The wife and her foreign husband are seperated and on rocky terms.

That case is alreay being handled by a respectfull Atty.here in Bohol.

Retired Navy and American National Held in Illegal Detention for 12 Hours
“He was kicking me and shortly after forced me with a knife until he had me locked onto our metal bar enclosed porch terrace where I stayed for 12 hours overnight from 8:O’clock PM until 8; O’clock AM the following morning until the police had been summoned to assist and get me out from feeling like what was similar to being inside of a cage.” Joe explained his ordeal as much as he could and said “I feel so violated, embarrassed and humiliated coming to a place that harps itself as a peaceful place to come and to live and visit and then to have this happen really tends for me to want to think twice that maybe I am better off to fly back home to America!”
In a special interview with the victim Joe Banys 50 years old and retired U.S. A. Navy man of 20 years, from the state of Illinois who is married with a native of Mabini Bohol. Joe  started off discussing his ordeal right away what had taken place last Feb 28th, and said in no way that he want anyone to think he hates the Philippines after what has happened to him because he said he really loves the Philippines as he had been staying here during his days in the Navy.
After being held in illegal detention and also known by another phrase as unlawful detention which are considered a grave act of holding someone without having any good purposes or without any lawful purpose for that long of amount of time that Joe had been in or for any amount time is considered as part of an international law with having to deal with any persons who interfere or threaten the human rights of other persons.

Joe and his wife along with her offspring and also living with what Joe refers to as a very unwanted relative Ivan of his wife were renting and residing at a residence on Calceta St. located four houses past provincials Governor Erico  Aumentado residence in where the 12 hour event occurred.

During a separate interview with Tagbilaran City’s PO3 Mario Judelito J. Torrejos and Joe last Friday PO3 along with this writer of Bohol standard were able to convince Joe to go ahead with plans on filing for charges on the next following Monday morning with Tagbilaran City Police station in were PO3 Torrejos said that he would be the one to help and assist with Joe’s filing.

PO3 Torrejos explained further with Joe that Ivan is in absolute no legal authority to have any hold on him.
PO3 said in his observation stated that he sees Ivan as the root of Joe’s problems that have included threatening, harassing, and can see that it is causing an emotional drain on Joe.

Joe stated that it is not the first time that Ivan has threatened him with a knife it had been about the third time.
Several times Joe has asked Ivan to leave the residences that they have lived in together. But according to Joe he cannot shake him off that easily. When Joe was first locked inside the place he described earlier as Cage like, he remembers the people across the street were laughing while he was shouting for help and they did not get help for Joe.
Joe had seen a passer by early the following morning and motioning by sign language that the passerby will get a hold of the police. And by 8; 10’am four members of the Tagbilaran City police had arrived to order Ivan to immediately release Joe from his caged in ordeal in where he was closely being watched by Ivan who had held a knife on him all night.
Joe was without food and water for long lengths at a time until allowed one time to use the restroom and get one glass of water.

Ivan had been playing the music so loud that it was hard for Joe to get the attention of someone to help him right away.
Joe has since moved out of the residence on Calceta St. and rented a room somewhere in Barangay Cogon and that his wife had moved out to an unknown place with his passport, furniture and other personal belongings.
Late last night Joe’s wife had shown up at the police station where the two had argued for some time about things going on and Joe’s wife reported that ‘Ivan had also stolen around 10.000.00 in pesos from the bedroom of Joe and she had told Joe to keep his room locked up and also told Joe that he was just too trusting to never lock his door.
Joe was able to update his reports in the police blotter before leaving the police station last Friday night, and the final words he told his wife while leaving “I came here to Bohol to relax and rest in peace and silence not that I want all your relatives always coming over to the point that I cannot be comfortable.”

okay I have a current up date regardiing this topic you know me I am always trying to stay on top of things when itcomes to helping persons who just do not know how the system truly works here.

I have yet to meet up with the Governor he has been in Korea this past week. I am also planning to take my two foreign subjects with different cases to Congressman Chatto's house this coming Monday. We foreigners want to make the message clear to the politicians here weare tiredof being victimized for any crime.

I was able to speak with my publisher Atty. Lim regarding the case and what Atty. Megdoza had told to the American that he is unable to file the case for the American? According to Atty. Lim it is not true, and besides the American Navy man has been robbed of his money.

Atty. Lim is a great atty. and a wonderfull freind to take the case of what is really a human violations case indeed.

Kidnapping, Life threatening, human rights violation, and then lets add the police witnesses who did not arrest the suspect after they had ordered him to release him.

I have more to say about this but I am not going there because I have already informed my publisher and why it was that my story on the happening did not appear on his desk for reveiw.

When Atty. Lim had heard it and seen my text messages he was not happy. He asked me to immediatley get the American in the office as soon as I can this way he can help the retired American Navy man.

Lorenzo and everyone in here giving support for what is the right way to handle this I would like to take the time to say thank you very much for your concerns.

I will do my best to keep you posted asmuch as possible.

I will post here a rough draft of what I had prepared for last weeks write up in the following box.

Again Thanks everyone for your good comments.

KFC "Finger Licking Good!"

Wash well with soap and water before eating your food and fingers!

Honestly I will never forget my first cultural sight seeing when my Filipina room mate back in the 90's she was IoloIolo gal and then I was use to being around here with out thinking I am at home with freinds and I had forgotten what a fork and spon was! ha ha ha!
We do it all of us whetherit be a donut or a cookie! he he he!

I am currently trying to come up with plans to be able to introduce to the governor my two most severe Foreigner Victim write up subjects in person to let him hear just how insulting this is by all means that the suspects are still at large and that they have to pay a lot of pesos to have them arrested.

When if this happened in my country the suspect would be arrested on the spot with out paying an atty. to file a case.
And have him arrested.

What an absolute insult and they say to us that foreigners have the highest of protection these days.
It is a joke to me and other foreigners as the crime against foreigners is getting higher.
#641
yea you are right my freind Raquel. Yesterday I had accompaneid him to atty. Magdoaza but on the next day despite my prepared written statement that the atty liked along with the pictures of the detaining area that I had taken.

No lawyer will take the case because the bayut had stolen a lot of his money.

So he was not able to file charges as the fiscals office be able to keep his money and be able to feed himself and his wifes family all at the same time on the little money that he has remaining.

MY column this week deals with why is it that when foreigners are victimized here they must pay for the arrest and pay for the case of such a case in order to get the suspect of the streets.

The charges would have been the first ever to have for a foreigner in Bohol on the charges of being kidnapped.

Illegal detainment is for unlawfull detainment for any person 3 days or more.

The charges according to Atty. Magdoza would have ben for illegal kidnapping.

But if a foreigner would have done it to a Filipino you can met it would have been fron page news by now.

As for the earlier question regarding the bayut over powering the Navu man yes I heard that the bayut is very strong.

So maybe by the next pension the case can be filed.

The American is staying in a rented room near to Marcella and the wife is staying in Tabalong Dauis.

Thanks for posting the information, I find any information such as this is important to know. I wonder if it was related to the SARS outbreak about eight years a go?

I am bouting Pnuemonia for the past three months now nothing prescribed by doctors has heped me yet.

Lung sickness is not fun and and makes one very tired and very health consceince espcaily around those who smoke. I can imagine that I will be wearing an air mask inside of the jets that I fly on from now on.

Our Governor Erico is always flying to Manila and where ever I wonder if that why he seems not well much of the time.

Some times I am concerned for him.

Always going out for the provinces sake!

I am so un inerested in this topic because enough is enough!
I had warned people at Bohol Chronicle and DYRD to stop being so nice as in lick the #** of mayor or after his attack on me in cityhall three years a go during charter days.

I wanted so badly to air my veiws as to what had went on at his ofice but the anchorman who told me no not on his show and who told me he thought the mayor was great at the time I have heard that same anchorman now regrets voting for mayor to now.

I can see things that happen before they do I try to warn people but it is useless here.

But when they are abussed they cry out loud for how many weeks now and how many more to come.

As I said enough is enough!

I will try to update with this blog after weds edition of chronicle comes out.

I would like to know what are the disciplinary measures against Mayor's aide Karaan for  edangering a media man inside of his mdia facility.

The GM Lito Responte of DYTR should also come up with something even if it means temporaarily not allowing Karaan to enter the radio station outlet untill the case has been solved.

I notice that Lito has been keeping silent in all of this does he not have any coarse of action as our Bohol KBP President and our Bohol Tri Media newly elected President?

how is Lito protecting our media from people who loose they're cool and attack media personnel.

I agree with earlier statements thst why is that Mayor allows Karaan to stay on tax payyer's dollar's after what has happened here?

Regardless if Daarol is wrong or right in his allegations to his programs listeners Karaan has no right to do what she has done.

I am kapoy of this topic and what the people get away with because if it was anyone else not connected to the mayor they would have been in deep poo poo!

Grazie, you said earlier that you did not know the scheldule of the mayor's report

It is every Saturday moning from 8am-10am they also have a website for dytr but its better if anyone calls into the mayor during his report to ask why is it that Karaan is still working and still on the payroll?
if i was a voter here and i do not care how powerfull the people make him hear I would call in and ask the question anyway.

Take care!
#646
I have advised people at Chronicle Dyrd not to discuss the case any further then what the public needs to hear.
Karaan had exspressed her anger and feelings in last Friday's cityhall council meeting regarding what was what she considered sloppy handling of the reported cash advance records.

In todays news paper banners I am somewhat confussed as Chronicle states that Karaan has PhP500.000.00 unsettled cash advances to settle.

While the post banner said that the Mayor's aide was already cleared of her advances.

the Bohol standard has not published any news regarding Daarol or the unclaimed cash advances.

These media men along with they're outlets need to get out the right news and work out they're own problems amongst themselves and others.

I use to write with Daarol in anoher paper I was not close to him. I will just leave it at that.

I have heard wind that Mayor mayhave bought two persons in the media new cars to use.

i want to say more but I am sure what I have in my noggin (head) will get out sooner or later.

The write up in Chronicle this day March 8 2009 said that Broadcaster and his lawyer condemn harrasment of the mayor's aide.

Both Bohol Times and the Sunday post have articles written on how mayor will make a counter suit on Vice Mayor Antonio Veloso.

"The worsening fued between Tagbilaran Mayor Dan Lim and Vice Mayor Jose Antonio Veloso took a turn for the worse when the mayor vowed the filing charges against the vice mayor over an "illegal and unauthorized" memorandum.
The mayor's memorandum was issued on March 6 2009 to disown Veloso's memo.

stay tuned.

#647
If you oranyone reading this blog now have time to tune into www website of dytr this morning maybe mayor's report will reveal any further information regarding the matter between Daarol and Kaaran.

You know what they say about those who try to justify about things are just adding to they're own guiltyness.

Let's see what happens.

Yea I have beden absent for some time from tubag to give those people a chance to move the boards along.
Being that many of you in here are outside of the country and I am here for eight years and my goals are finially being met I have more time to come up with some real happening socail issues going on here at present, and I am up to the beat on the current happeninggs for you so I am able to to relax and inform pleasantly all of you of on the latest the best that I can for you.

anyone can send me personal messages about topics that I post about or here in the blog itself.

Or you cann send me personal messages again now that i am back here reguraly again.

Take care Happy Spring Break!

#648
First off Happy Weekend to everyone in here. Thank you for the compliments and the concerns raised on this issue.

No he has not been arrested yet. here if you are a victim it is your job to do the police report, fill out the blotter, arrest him yourself and your the one to use your own monies to have him arrested.

Not like back home in America where automatically you have an arrest and yu are free from paper work or going to the courts to press charges.

I wish they would adopt the sytem of the states when it comes to this sort of stuff. You get away with murder here.

Because to file that kind of case against any threats and to obtain a lawyer will run you around 200.000.00 on an average.

General Topic / Re: World's Worst Cultural Mistakes
March 07, 2009, 06:51:45 AM
Often I do not see Filipino persons tipping at places where tips are normally given.

Loud they like things loud go to a local donut or coffee house and it is screaming rock and roll or disco.

Man so loud you have to shout less then 6 inches across the table to be even heard ha ha ha!

One old fashiond culture that needs to go is the fact of having babies before being marreid here in a pre-dominant catholic culture and then still trying to justify that it was okay because they have only been withone partner and having the babies before the work or the house is in possesion first then having to live with your baby and mate at the parents house not offering to help as far as chores to earn your keep for help for what should be you and your own mates responibilities.

Sticking up for blood kin even you know they have broken the law here and you know they are being dihonest about the real truth.

In states if our relatives or freinds have done wrong we say it the way it is that it should not be repeated. We hope for punishment if Americans do wrong on our own.

Here if a foreigner rapes a Filipino you can be sure it is front news story if a Filipino rapes anyone it is in the middle of the newspaper written in small column as if almost ment to be hidden.

When in media trying to take pictures of victims under poor circumstnces and they smile into the cameraq versus looking how they should be which should be a state of being distreught.

Calling me a Sir when I am a Mam.

Saying he when he means she.

Are heard laughing loudest at green jokes said by commedians and it is a conservative culture.

Taking things to an sensitive and dramatic level more then it should be.

(maybe it comes from all the Filipina drama's veiwed on T.V. here?)

Not flushing toiletss or leaving the toilet seat wet or up.

no towels or soaps in most public commons.

Fraulien is often heard in the movie titled "The sounds of music."

The culture of the Catholic church here is not helping tho poor members of its own congregation how it should.
In states the Catholic church helps the poor with medical and hospital bills, electric or water bills, clothing and food baskets when you need the help the most. That's every day but here I have yet to see that culture here?

I hope some day to see it.

 :)

Often around here you can hear storeis being told by foreigners who have really had it in how they get treated here as guest more often these days.

Just read the local police blotters it tellsa story all by its self.

Let'd face it not all foreigners are doing bad things here. It just seems no matter how much we scratch a Filiino's back here tojust ne be able to help him out, it never seems that appreciated and often enough ends up being looked at as as if just being used to get what they want.

While the foreigner ends up with nothing but the word of trust once said but never being implimented always.

I have an email from a freind Roger who lives here in Tagbilaran and back home in the states he is a  lets just say well off and he enjoys helping people here who really need medical attention.

Here is his most recent email of his last adventure going around Philippines.

'Hi, everybody,

When you're traveling around the Philippines, watch out for the infamous bloodsucker cockroach. Not really a cockroach but a small gray colored insect that likes to do you-know-what when you're not looking.

I guess I wasn't looking; I had never heard of the little bugger.

So last Sunday sometime, while I was still in Danao City, Cebu, one decided to get a taste of yours truly. The next day my left wrist and 4th finger started to swell a little. No big deal. I thought a mosquito or spider bit me. Simple... that would go away fast. But there was no tell-tale bite or sting mark.

By Wednesday evening, my left forearm, wrist and hand were swollen like a reddish baloon, hot from inflammation and painful. My filippino friends said I was bitten by a bloodsucker "cockroach." An ob gyne at Gallares Provincial Hospital said the same thing. (Always consult a sex doctor when you want info about bloodsuckers. Haha.)

I immediately went to Mercury Drug and bought the antibiotic tablets the pharmacist recommended. Now, after two days, the swelling is gradually decreasing. Enough that I can hold my toothbrush and even type this email. She said it may take a week, so my countdown for cure is next Wednesday evening.

Other than this experience, my week in Cebu City and Danao was fun.

Sweet 19-year-old Rosalie, a saleslady at Golden Crust bakery in Cebu, now sees well with her one good eye. I met her my pevious visit several weeks ago and noticed how difficult it was for her to pick out my individual leche flan pastries. (My nightime tv snack.) I discovered she was blind in her left eye and couldn't see well with the right. Hard for her to work that way, and maybe harder to find another job.

She's a very poor, shy, innocent girl who left her family in Leyte to earn a living. So many families separate here.

So I found a low-cost optometrist nearby and promised her eyeglasses when I returned. I think everyone at Golden Crust was skeptical, even though they know me as a regular customer. Who does this for some poor stranger?

Last week I took Rosalie for her eye exam and new glasses. The doctor found astigmatism in the "good" eye. I also gave her antibiotic eyedrops and showed her how to use them. Rosalie was so cute when she asked my opinion about the frames. We agreed the blue and red frame was most colorful, patriotic and very sexy. We all laughed... even the doctor and technician! You can imagine how overjoyed she and her sister were that she could see well for the first time in years.

Now we text regularly and have become friends. Rosalie shows new joy and self confidence, and looks so cute in her new glasses. My reward.

And how much did this cost "el Cheapo?" Sit down for this. Total cost for the eye exam, new prescription glasses and antibiotic eyedrops: 840 pesos, or about $18.00. My goodness!

Well, that's all for now. God bless.

Roger."

corrections 12 hors total 8pm untill 8am.

2nd, he was not able to eat or sleep all night.

3rd, he should of locked up his bedroom so the bayut would not of been able to steal his 10thsnd piso's.
#652
The wife is a born Boholana taga Mabini. It is the wives cousin who is the bayut. The bayut is causing a lot of danger to the foreigner husband not only locking him up inside of a cage from 8pm untill 8pm and watching him with a sharp big kithchen knife and broken glass peice and being ordered not to move unless permission and nt eing able to eat or sleep.
This is not the only time that this bayut has caused trouble it was about the third time according to the American narional. The first incident had taken place when the bayut got angry at the American because the American had shouted at him to stop hitting stones at little kids and hurting them in the neighberhood and also for entering others homes with out permission.
When the bayut was angry he had grabbed for a kitchen knife and gone after the American threatening him to kill him.

Tonight P02 Mario Terjios had met with me as planned. Instead of ending up at the house of the American we ended up counseling the American at BQ where he still appeared to be emotionally upset about the incident.
He was rescued by the next morning from a passer by who had given him sign language askiing him to notify the police for assistance to rescue him from the cage like enclosed porch with a double gate that stands 8 feet or more.
4 policemen came to rescue the American by 8:10 am in the morning.
The American moved out this week and is presently renting a room in barangay of cogon. His wife had moved to an unknown area and had taken all of his clothes furniture and belongings.
Including his passport. We the police and I were able to convince the American to file charges on Monday and to go down and write further in the blotter about his rescue and about the other attempts of threat that had been made by the bayut to him.
The wife  showwed up claimed she was looking for him and said that they needed money for food that the kids were hungary since they had ended up seperating.
The wife said to her American husband that he should of locked him room and hidden his money bas her cousin had stolen PhP 10.000.00 from the Americans drawwer in his bedroom.
The Bayut was asked to leave countless times but had remained up untill time to steal enough money after locking up the American.
The wife is always out of the house everynight she said and did not know that the bayut had illegally detained her husband.
The two had been argueing for about two hours at Tagbilaran PNP Station before leaving but tghe American was still not fdeeling well enough to leave with his wife untill he blottered the rest of what had been happening that leads up to the last incident.

Is that what she told you calle

This story has some truth to it but coming from a family here whose main income set aside from mine alone in the states he is working on board as a second officer. His contract was recently extended untill 2010.

There is a shortage of second officer's as well due to cut back in retirement plans for retiring seamen here in the Philippines.

That is why you are also seeing many seamen looking for a better deal because of the bennefits package coming from the crewwing agenceis as well as the ship owners whom most are Japanese.

K-line is a large company and has had contracts going around the world for year's. Most of the crews are mixxed not all fully crewed by Filipino.

Ther are many aganceis here who do hire seamen to work under K-line but if I can recall there are several ranches of K-line out there and they are with different owners.

Just hope for the best with all of them.
#655
He wanted to hold him ransom for his money. The bayut is a cousin of the wife to the American who was held for 12 hours inside of a cage.

The term for a civilian to hold a person is known as "Illegal Detention" or "Unlawfull Detention".

Especailly under no specified time limit.

Now on the other hand Lorenzo if a a public officer or police did the same thing itis known as Arbouritory.

Last night i had made arrangements to take a PNP PO3 Torios from the Tagbilaran City Police to go on duty as a plain clothes police and assist me in a follow up at the same residence where such incidence has taken place.

Stay Tuned!

I feel looy when Isee bata's iding on motor's with out helmets and riding 3 up to 6 at a time.

The dad is just racing along instead of taking it easy. This would no be passable in my country because we care about people too much.

If any of you have relatives living here plse warn them of the dangers of traveling in that kind of style.

Thanks!

glcaceir yor absolutley correct in your last statement. I also feel that she over acted and it makes her look guilty with out a doubt.
#660
Thank you everyone.

Apology accepted.

Last night I was able to talk with another colleuge of mine from radio station DYTR AM and when interveiwing Arlene he told me tha she deneid the allegations.

I seen her again last night with a female companion coming from Bojols Grill and getting into the city owned van after having a socail with the owner and several city government officails.

The officails are Mayor Lim City Councilor Cabalit, and I am sure the conversation is with the owner of Bojol regarding the law suit of the Agora.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and understandng
#661
Ayessa read the statement and tell me that. I know exactly what she means.

it is not a smile it is a laugh because Mackey made a duragatory joke at me.

and I am not sensitive not like it is here in Bohol many people take thigs that are good bad.

I have stopped giving compliments to people here, and im just tired of rudeness and people who are so high on the horse who think they have to insult others to make them look better.
end it here.

Thanx!
#662
:o So what I am big Mackey!

You have a problem with it? I would have a problem next to someone who is standing below 5 inches tall.

No I was not spying I was not hiding I was there with my daughter enjoying my Friday spending time with her over fruit juice and donuts not like the parents here who allow they're kids to go out and drink and smoke and get drunk how it is happening here now.

I beleive in spending time wih family and quality time. My daughter is not interested in sleeping around or wearing come and get me boy clothes, or is she interested in in drinking or having any relationships with men yet and she is 18 years old.
Many girls these days here have really changed a lot and it shocks me when I do not see the behaived polite Boholana as much as I use to.

Back to the main topic-I am sure today's edition of the chronicle will come out with the filing matter with Daarol againstArlene.
It was really to bad it happend to begin with. Often I hate to leave my house just for what my freinds will be telling me. I am tired of all the fighting and the meaness happening here.

You have to live here to know what I am saying.

Take care!
#663
Grazie was there something funny said?

I did not recall anything being funny or are you just showingyour real in between the lines hidden Fiiipna beauty?

Do not play stupid with me. I am not in the mood for your Binibig Tubbag Bohol attitude.

Maybe you can explain why you laughed after that last statement when I was so stupiodly insulted.

I have nothing to hide.

When Attorneys abuse they're power.

What does it mean when an attorney and his wife say out loud these words in front of foreigners and local people to hear; "Never mind the judge will not listen to him he is just a foreigner!" I had recently gasped at this recent news from a foreign man and his Filipina wife.

I do not want to go into to much detail but I am seeing how Filipinos here truly do not have any respect for foreigners here as much as they should since this island is all about patting itself on the back about being a freindly and hospitable place to visit. "Are you sure?"

I hate to say it but I have met also many foreigners who are tired of being un appreciated for heling people here.
Foreigners bring a lot of revenue to this province and again there are foreigners who love it here who have domesticated here.

But to hear that this was said by an atty's wife during a recent barangay hearing here has me thinking totally different about this family now.
It is hard to think that this atty's family association I considerd hm as a cool freind before and now that I have heard this and know how his family treats other people here and on top of it they say duragatory/biased statements regarding foreigners I am not happy.
I plan on meeting up with this person and ask him why or if such a thing was ever said and to think the Governor here wants to bring in and encourage foreign guest to improve the economy for the people here, and behind his back public figures are mouthing off about foreigners.
What a crime if this turns out true and I hope that I can reach my freind in person and he can give me his side of the stry and I hope for my foreigner sake of mind that this was not ever said regarding the statement about foreigners.

I am even embarrede to visit my freind after hearing this statement maybe he also thinks never mind her she is just a foreigner? :o

She is the a very nice lady working close with the mall manager at ICM the main venue where they hold they're drawings.

She is the one who is in charge of arranging dates and uests and events foir entertainment at the mall.

She also is in charge of promotions  and what not. She is a head a committee at ICM just for mall and ICM events.

I am sure Mam Guy could be of better assistance then Areil Fullido.

General Topic / Re: Are You Atheist?
March 04, 2009, 05:23:20 AM
i am not an atheist. i just do not beleive in being in just one religeous organization. i have met heads of churches and behind closed doors they are not always as sweet or as put on a pedestal that you people tend to let them be.

I do not beleive that anyone should be put on a pedestal in front of god.

I see the churches here not helping the poor in the same manner such as the ones are doing back home.

I see the preist here are eating rich dinners and driving very nice expensive cars and having no good avorable attitude for helping the poor here. I have heard that it is twice now that they pass the collection bag twice now during one mass.

I beleive in God but not being teid to specific beleifs to eachis own.

I see people come out of church and then ten minutes later they are getting drunk or breaking the law or doing things against God and his people.

Church to me is described by some Fiilipinos these days just a place to go and show off to your freinds "Loook at me Ma I am attending church am Inot a gooody goody!"

Thre church here is not allowing vendors to use the parking lot so the poor can make money for supporting they're families.
They do allow a big national food vendor such as Duncan Donuts to use the parking lot as the only allowed vendor.

My understanding is church should help the people and help assist with non-profit organizations that are church reated for improving the peoples livlihoods here.

Cathokic Churches back home are so good, and accept you whether you are baptized or not.

As i said I beleive but not in religeons because i have sen too much wrong being done to people who need help and who do live by the churches way but they are given nothing in return.

We are all equally importaNT AND THATS A FACT i DO NOT WORSHIP NO PREISTS, PREACHERS, OR MINISTERS I DO MY PRAYING IN PRIVATE AND CONDUCT MYSELF POLITLEY IN PUBLIC.

I think I have said enough and answered this as honest as I can. I am here to offend anyone its just my opinion these days in particular.

Yes this was most definently was a pre meditated event I had seen Arlene and her boys from cityhall casing out Bojol Grill at both entrances as if on the hunt or prowl?
This was on a Friday night just before closing.

The behavior of her and her  and her ctyhall group was definintly suspicios as this group of cityhall persons normally clear out of Dunkin donuts around 9pm or 10pm at night.

And her is some further updating-This is not te first time that one of Mayor's staff has assaulted media i think it has been a few like the newwet dytr member was slapped or hit around a month or so a go.

Then there was Batchoy Alba another media man anchor of "Pulso" DYRD AM had a fie arson at his house.

And my question is what is Lito Responte GM of/ 911FM DYTR AM Bohol Tri Media Association President/ and lets add KBP President for Bohol doing about of these two incidents that have takken place at his station?

I need to pardon for a moment and correct Atty. Amore to Atty. Amora

By the way when your on the inside of the media and have lived here for eight years and you are living through these sittuations having to hear about it daily and reading about it when the newspapers come out every week tends to get a little tiresome.

And the local media takes it as a personal attack not just on Daarol but on the media as a whole.

According to some close colleauges of Daarol he has filed early Tuesday Morning with aatty's Amore and atty. De laserna

In the court house.

some men like those type of sights and some men do not like. I also know of many other single white foreigners who are looking for a partner or a wife here in Bohol.
You name it we have Americans, British, Swedish, Canadians and a whole lot more and they are pretty darn cute!
I know a Swedis guy who dated a McDo manager from here for about one month and she already received her travel visa to visit her fiance in Swedin and has been there already over a month and when she comes back she will process her Visa and go back and get marreid I am amazed at how fast some countreis move their paer work! Any ways you single gals there are a lot of nice guys lookingx100 Good LUck!

Loren has been generous to the local media here always gives out tee-shirts, cell loads, parteis, and this year she even sponsored our BTMAoath taking and awardees dinner and also sponsored our tropheis this year.
The board decided to take of her name off of the awardees plaques.

Isn't thhis specail

Dennis Du manager at Duncan Donuts here in Tagbilaran City who plans on running for Tagbilaran City Council in 2010 has specail priveladges to be the only one tovend donuts inside of the Catholic cathedrals Parking lot, while all other vendors no matter how poor or not that theyare are not allowed the same priveladges and guess who is in charge of the vendors at the church Fr. Jeffrey Manolog who is one of Mayor Lims good freinds and to make things better guess who has his own reserved parking sign at the local Dunkin Donuts? But why of caurse your's truly Mayor Dan Neri Lim.

Dennis is a neat person and his mom loves him dearly because she told me herself that her son has always taken good care of her. Anyone who takes as good care as he does with his mother and the mayor and who also sponsors many community events does not make him a bad person at all instead he is great for doing what he has done! Good Luck my freind!

Mam Bernaldez is very nice.  If I am able to wake up before she is off duty let me inquire here via cell phone and ask her whats happening with the sittuation I am sure they have received plenty of calls.

I hope what she says is reasonable and it pleases people if she is able to reply or maybe mumsy is the word. I do not want to get on her inferior side as my yummy "Big Mama's " cookies are sold in the Pasalabom section at ICM.

I will try to let her know that there is a concern.

I know a preist from Bohol who is having a church in Toronto and he has small children and they are all darling.
His mom is the senior Diocise here in the catedral at St. Josephs.

He is responsible always to his family and church. We forgive those brothers and sisters who are partaking in pre-marital sex and why no forgive also a preist who is doing well for the church and his people as well despite his weaknesses and imperfections.

We are all human beings no one is perfect, even though we try hard to be.

Hof- I agree with you totally but when I am a foreigner here and I inquire about those things and no one else has here then I am looked at as if weird or high blooded! I was also surprised the draw was early I had brought many tickets and when I had seen them putting away the chairs and things from the draw I thought how could this be?
ICM activities are run by Mam Guy Bernardlez she works close with Mall Manager Mario C.
Unfortunantly I have already thrown thrown away all my enteries and stubs. I hope that it does not happen again.

My opinion I have told this outlet and others about how this mayor has neglected the case that I was the only one to write about which was the case of the city water truck killing the American.
Untill nothing the mayor has done nothing.
I had also complained to Mayor over DYRD mayor's report  concerning that issue and about 4 years ago when I had first begun writiing In the local media and he had embaressed me in his office in front of Judge Arcarmo and others I remember bawling my head off and going to DYRD PULSO when Chito Vissara was on board and I had wanted to complain about the city mayor then for his being mean to me on Tagbilaran charter day but at the time he would not allow me too air my opinion.
I wonder if my freind feels the same way now? I wonder those who voted for Mayor Lim are regretting it now?
I notice that no one makes much comment on posts like this because people here are afraid to comment.
I think he has been on DYTR he is a more calmer and relaxed mayor. His co-anchor looks a lot like him now as they both have the same pot belly's so lets call them the pot belleid twins!
I laughed about that out loud one day with my co anchor freind as he had lifted his shirt up and bared his bald belly in the raw in public at a local donut shop recently! he he he he snicker! snicker!

For me I always spend much at ICM and BQ and do I ever win a thing? No! but I have learned that it is best to hatag ang raffle tickets two-three days before any draw at the malls mostly in the prelimanary monthly draws before the final grand draw.

As for looking into this matter Nah! That kind of stuff never happens and besides it is done already and lets face the truth and the facts many things are done wrong and they are all not questiond and if it is it gets about one hour or a days attention on the radio just so long as it does not deal with controversal church issues and tourism issues that happen here when tourist are innocently killed due to Filipinos who do not check to make sure that the right gear is safe for diving trips or that resorts have life guards at their pools.. ETC ETC.
Those matters will be and are known to be white washed issues.
Just like this ICM event was and has died off already a long time ago due to ICM advertizements being in the media here bet you did not hear much of a peep from those media working for outlets with ICM as a sponsor.
#692
I am not so sure old Joe as nice as he is would throw his hat off again into the ring of election fiery for a bout of having a chance at getting onto the mayoral throng of tagbilaran.
I am not going to repeat any controversery's that I have heard regarding how people her fell about the present mayor.
There are still people out here who think he is doing a nice job with trying to get things done.
As for who will win I wish and hope the best person who can be kind to people and they're concerns and needs will be chosen as the next mayor.
I do not want to see time after time people getting hurt by a mayor who has a job to represent and treat the public well.
I am happy I am not a voter here but if there is a politician who is doing good here you can bet I am going to put 5 or 10 cents on him as a writer in the print media so the people can see who are those running that really have a heart for what they are running for.

Does thismean not having to be marreid in order to buy own purchase land?

I think its a great ideal for foreigners to invest with out getting marreid.

My word look at the current case going on here in Bohol regarding the British bar owner whose wife nearly treid to assinate him 3x's in one weeks time in Panglao!

She wanted to eliminte him just so she could posess all that he has bought for herself after her deed was done.

She was hiding in Leyte but by now has had a warrant out for her arrest since last week.
