Mike, kaning 50,000 voice dagahn na kaayo na ug mahimo ug ikatabang kon magkahiusa lang.
bisan magtampo lang ta ug tag 10 dollar once a year dako na kaayo na nga kwarta sa atoa.

we can build a TB university, TB newspaper, TB hospital and more...

what if millions of Boholanos abroad will join too?

Importante lang gyod magkahiusa ta. Because there is POWER in UNITY.!

This is a brillant idea!  Why not making a start? We must have to organized rightly and make the first step by way of raising a FUND for any  valuable purposes and which a good service to  our co-Bol-anon.   On the other thread from Junayag "MAGTINABANGAY" we are almost to hit the point but the problem it just runs always in circle the discussions to that impt. topic.

What amazes me is the people here gloat about how proud they are to be a native from here? but, they marry outside their race to get away from the place? ::)
So they are not that proud after all?

Most marry for this one $$$$$ and are hoping for greener pastures from the other side of the fence with their new husband.

Most women who get married here to foreigners have a high rate of divorce after they have a new country citizenship and remarry again in the same country.

Allot of foreigner men come up to me and we laugh together as they tell me how unfaithful their being to their Philippine wives here.

The reason for it is because they are having a boring time here compared to the fast paced life back home.
The Philippine wife is fine with it for me "No Way"!
The foreign husband gets here and he pays for everyone in her family and it is not practiced in our place to get married and be the bread winner for Uncle Joe, Aunt sue, cousin Billy Bob, and the family pet pig.

I am telling you Philippine ladies if you want to lose your foreigner man just keep on washing his pocket book out supporting people he barely knows in your family.
It upsets them but they are too nice to say anything to you about it. So if your happy using a foreigner husband as an ATM machine then I guess it makes sense why you ladies allow these guys to be unfaithful towards you because you hold the legal banking card!

I also notice the Philippine woman married to a Westerner or other white foreigner man here is also changing her style of dress from conservative to non conservative?
She wears more richer threads then a Philippine woman married to her own native race.

I will not change for anyone I do not care what the style of the country is I will respect but not change it or myself
I would never marry to change my status in fact poor men have character and are rich in heart and rich men have everything and they never seem content!  >:( JUST BE YOURSELF AND ACCEPT YOU FOR :)  HOW YOU REALLY ARE DO NOT DO IT FOR OTHERS DO IT FOR YOURSELF PEOPLE!) :D

Your above-quoted statements Miss PreciousNpolite makes your personality "WORTHLESS".  It is not Ladylike!!!.  Who are you by the way, to make such judgement and you generalized all Filipinas in such a way?  It is not your business to give some comments to persons whom you don't really know why their marriage ended to divorce.  I doubt, you are not aware to the fact that numbers of those criticized women are really working hard to support their Families left behind not getting any single cent from their so-called $$$$ allien men. It is all rubish.  Expressing many words of attacks might only come from a loser expats. So what if a woman after divorced get married 10 times? She has the right to do what she wants of her life....it is her freedom!  To intervene any lifes decision is a violation of  humans dignity and rights.
Personally, I am not mortally offended but I am voicing out to those speechless and not guilty and subjected to condemnation - POOR HOT OF $$$$$$$$$$$ LADIES!  :P

I will come and visit you sa Dec. pohon.  We reserved already Joe Torralba's house in Dauis for we are two Families (sister from England) and my sister and MamA  in Tamblot daghan kaajo sila ug dogs ron perting banha-a.  we live at the back BOTMA - i don't know now the name of the offices there.  Upstairs had celebrated my 50th Birhtday before where Conny and lot of beauty friends come over.  Conny, she was the owner of the Maanyag beauty parlor BBQ before, she works at the opposite side of it now. Do you know him/her?  Maybe not because you are still very young man.

This business plan will not of course functions in our country, during my days..........we have that Family planning centers  which my friends are working - distributing free pills, condoms and having some Fam.planning seminars in urban areas.  The people/couples listened, accepting the presents not applying and using those because our Churches/Holy Pope are against of this....and this is also sad to say that religion is not always the answer of finding a solution.  Even here  in some Europian countries (eastern part -100% religious)....also over populated, no jobs and only prayer is their hopes and they all settled in Germany or some better/rich places such as GB, and Scandinavian countries too.   Too tired from work and  will say:  "Oh.......my God! - the answer from the western folks....God will not help you!

Mickey,

Halloween is just last year adopted and quite a hit in Germany.  For we have on this time FASCHING-it is similar to Rio Carneval but not sexy like over there in Brazil.

How appearing as usa ka lugas sa Posporo? - "just colored your face very red and naked.  :D  Bitaw Mickey, in your appearance and  wow body (as seen in your Pinoy tayo dance, there could be no problem whatever you wear or how you appear?

By the way, where are you now? Phils or USA?

Life is too short and it is hard enough that is why........we must have to live life without any fear, exemptions and hesitants.
A week before she died, we were together in fitness, went out for a dinner and then afterwards dancing nights in a nieghboring disco and then planned to have a week after another disco trip but death was faster than all.

Thanks so very much for the previous pictures posted.....it reminds me to visit again those places. I've been in Maribojoc tower in the year of 1974 when we had the first  Family trip to Chocolate hills after my engagement ceremony.  Is there any changes or improvements on that area?  Muss come and visit that place again.  Had visited this big anaconda in the year 2002 where they feed with goat and/or dogs?  What I also found interesting is the newly opened restaurant in Dauis convent, for sure it is worthy for a visit.

To the above-stated subject, I could only say that as long as there is no serious changes of the political methods what our leaders practising (corruptions and some other illegal acts) the existing system remains hopeless. A tragic occurence is repeated as it is for most of the politicians are coming from a political Family dysnasties and they learned the same and it is already in blood.  We don't need an actors for this position to present their false shows but we badly needed is a man of words and in deeds.  Not only an intillectual who put policies on papers but he must have to apply it in a real actions.
#5749
Hello David D.

If I am not mistaken you are interested to know the real life story.  Oh boy, it could be a very long narration and probably this site is too short for the very long history. The problem is...where do I start?  We have one thread here -"The one and only story of Balong", I doubt that you will be getting a hard time to catch it for mostly it is in Bisayan vernacular.  It is a man love/life story.

Well, to make the story short, every one of us has his/her own's life destiny.  Some of us could be the victim of that so-called twist and/or stroke of fate.
In answer to your question, I had a fulfilled poor/nice, educated life in Bohol, getting here in another country where I am presently based, I followed the word called love, I am happy for being here for a long period of time for more than the half of my life, got a good paid jobs, few honest/trusted friends, got no regrets for I have everything what I want and need for life's existence, possessing a very lovely/caring very young husband blessed with one son and the last question, yes, I am planning to be back there in the future (hope that God give me the strength and luck) and want to realize this as earliest possible time that if financial capacities allows. And how?....could not be a big problem for I will not immigrate instead I am coming back to my home.

I hope that this will satisfy first to your request.  I could relate to you my whole life story and would do it maybe in my life biography....and i don't want to bore
you and the TB members for there are more interesting topics to be discuss here aside from this point.  :)

That is true.  I received a buwad danggit from my MaMa handcarried by a Filipina, hangkang lipaya prito dayon, sakto pod pag-abot sa akong bana nga bisan ug gi-unsa na naho ug spray ug perfume, lighted candles, opened the windows....namilit gjod ang baho.  Eversince that time, I let the buwad kept by a friend and I must have to drive 65 kilometers to have it fried there, sayang lang, the Cebuana live now for good sa ato and her sister who was left here suddenly died last Nov.2006. So, had not eaten those for a almost one year na.

Hi Bambi...

Dihay usa ka bangiitan nga writer dires Sweden sa una nagsulat nga ang makapausab ra kuno sa Pilipinas kon mouli tanan ang mga educated nga Filipino nga naa nas laing nasod nagpuyo ron and together make the reforms needed in the Philippines.

Para nako..way mahimong kausaban atong nasod kon magpadayon ang vote buying during election. So it is  very important to put a stop on this.

Hi Asianfairy,

We are just making a merry go round trip most of the time, I believe that this is already planted in our countrymens head.  Sulayan ni sa mga politico nga molansad nga way palitanay ug botos, di ba wa lagi poy mobotar. I just remember, it was  in the year of the 70's, we have an Mayor Election for the whole Bohol province and it was not a surprised result that in the Dauis (a Family dynasty before who were too long in power, it think if I am not mistaken it was the Cimafranca's). The opponents got  a zero votes...... sayunan ka pilay namuyo sa Dauis kay gipalit tanan/gipakyaw gjod ang tanan mga tawo kay kinsa tong boto sa pikas gigamitan man ug tion. Well, it was still during the Marcoses era but I guess, di ba wa gyoy kausaban hangtod karon, grabe naman siguro, iyahay nalang puno-ay sa bulsa. Ningsamot na ron nga we are now in a community consumptions....everyone like to acquire what the others has no matter how.

What you think.....is he really the right man to govern or town?  As mostly reported, it seems he is on the exact way to make a perfect start.

How I wish, he will do his best! I do believe that his political family dynasty backgrounds could be a good basis to reign and promulgate ideas and some

political changes.

I wish to meet him personally...I know, one Engr. Jumamoy, who was connected before in Provincial Engr's. Office.  I guess, he is our young Mayors uncle.
They have a strong similarity.

GEC......is the main topic of your tsismis.........Is he really a very interesting/good looking  guy? Or is he coward enough to show up?  I am curious who is this

Well, so far we had a phone chat twice, but as usual ladies bla...bla.....bla....we talked first our old kauyaban sa una Doy.  Anyway, she plans to come over here in Germany next year. Perhaps, i will be there earlier to visit her in Montclai, Calif.  She has three grown-ups children and I think it is a double hard task unlike me, I get more free time.

We could be together to fly for a visit....what you think? you can visit your girlfriend there in US too. Next xear?

Maybe this is out of topic, but I have some facts to share.

The key word for population control is not abstinence, but birth control methods. There is no intensified effort from the government to promote population control. In some parts of the world, they are imposing taxes on the second child.

I heared some facts about Sweden that sex is just a casual thing and some do it in public. But their population remains controlled. There is even an ex porn star who run for Mayor in Sweden and won, maybe that was in 2005.

Another fact is the lowest population growth rate in the world is in Italy. Children are so rare that they have to close a kindergarten school in one town.

Hence, no wonder these countries are rich because GNP & per capita is the nation's wealth divided by the population. The lesser the population, the better is the education, the more health benefits, less pollution (more ratio of doctors vs. patients, more ratio of teachers vs. students...etc.)... moreover, there are more jobs vs. workers that they have to hire us (outsourcing).

Hi Macky,

You misinterpret the Sex education in Europe,  Doy... they are not like dogs that just in every corner of the street magtapot na gjod.  You might heard about "PARTNER  SWAPPING"         ..there are some establishments here to this kind of free sex -exchanging partners or a group sex.  This is mostly  run from those private persons who are also interested to this and more sexually  active.  But this is not every ones interest.  I think, if we have it here pastilan! BIBO GJOD ang mga boys!  But.....those couples who are involved to this actions -they possesses the tolerance of their relationship otherwise it will never functions.  JEALOUSY is out of place.!!!

In some Europian rich countries, counting Germany, Sweden, Norway, Italy, Switzerland and some more others, the government has this program to support Families to raise more children otherwise the generations are almost to be vanished.........we are aware of this, but.....life here is not like licking icy sugar in an early morning - we must have to work in order to exist and our bills to be paid is  only 99% higher  than in our country. We got no maids, we must have to pay a babysitter and that is not cheap, no Lola's. aunts to take care of the kids while we are at work to support a bit our relatives left behind. And we are  not doing love making for the purpose of getting 12 kids as what our countrymen doing.  We are raising a Family in which we could say........it is enough and life would be great enough too.
