A lady died this past January, and Citibank billed her for February &
March for their annual service charges on her credit card, & added late
fees and interest on the monthly charge. The balance had been $0.00,
now somewhere around $60.00. A family member placed a call to Citibank here's the exchange:

Family Member: "I am calling to tell you she died in January."

Citibank: "The account was never closed and the late fees & charges still apply."

Family Member: "Maybe, you should turn it over to collections."

Citibank: "Since it is 2 months past due, it already has been."

Family Member: So, what will they do when they find out she is dead?"

Citibank: "Either report her account to frauds division or report her to the credit bureau, maybe both!"

Family Member: "Do you think God will be mad at her?"

Citibank: "Could you fax us a certificate of death?"

Family Member: "Sure." (fax number is given) After they get the fax:

Citibank: "Our system just isn't setup for death. I don't know what more I can do to help."

Family Member: "Well, if you figure it out, great! If not, you could just
keep billing her. I really don't think she will care."

Citibank: "Well, the late fees & charges do still apply."

instead of renting a house... why not OWN a HOUSE?

nag-abang ka og apartment or house ranging from P4000-8000... and you definitely
want to settle for good in Cebu...
kaysa mag-abang, why not go for housing loans sa PAG-IBIG (dili ko real estate agent ha? :-) )
you can choose to pay your mortgage 10 years, 15, 20 or even 25 years...

kintahay gipili nimo ang 10 years option sa housing loan.... and your paying P5000/month sa mortgage, congratulations!!!! after 10 years naa na kay balay nga imoha gyud...

so what do you do after that? GET a new loan para sa 2nd HOUSE mo for 10 years!!!!

how? again, your monthly mortgage is P5,000. ipa-abang imo 2nd house maybe P3000/month...
then you pay for the other P2,000/monthly for 10 years....
