teacher discussing semen in his class:

teacher: men's semen is another form of glucose....
lady student: sir, you mean glucose as in sugar? why it isn't sweet?
teacher: honey, it's because your taste buds is in your tounge not at the back of your mouth.

grabeha nimo ug mga kaagi sab-sad. bitaw day, it's up to you to decide because you are already old enough to decipher what is good for you. if a guy asked you for a date and then brings you to a hotel/motel afterwards. that is something that really needs much pondering in your part. before ka dad-on magsulti man jud mo. not unless pakalitan ka, nya matingala nalang ka kay lain na ang giagian. it's not about the "uso" or trend it's about your predicament as a person, as a woman and as a human being. to have sex is easy because you can do it at any given time and place. but think first of the consequences that might occur after. tinuod ra ba nang panultihon nga sinugdanan ray lisod pero kung makatilaw na magpangita naka. naa ra bay uban nga pamabdosan ra ka nya biyaan. pagka alaut, nadaut sa pasalig. basig ingnon lang nya ka salig lang pero ayaw laum.pagkapait.

yeah, correct.
knock out means the fight ended because of that but a knock down is a credit to a boxer who made his opponent touch or fell to the canvas via solid/legit punch but was able to beat the count and continued the fight.

Fortune: self made
Source: Berkshire Hathaway

Filed first tax return at age 13, claiming $35 deduction for bicycle. Studied under value investing guru Benjamin Graham at Columbia. Took over textile firm Berkshire Hathaway 1965. Today holding company invested in insurance (Geico, General Re), jewelry (Borsheim’s), utilities (MidAmerican Energy), food (Dairy Queen, See’s Candies). General Topic / Re: Withdrawal Method

more about withdrawal method:

Withdrawal
Since ancient times, when it was discovered that when a man ejaculated into a woman's vagina, a pregnancy occurred, couples have been using the withdrawal method as a form of birth control.

All Natural
The withdrawal method works by a man pulling out his penis from a woman's vagina just before he ejaculates during sex. This type of contraceptive is completely natural, has no extra costs involved, does not require the use of any chemicals and can be used when there is no other form of birth control available.

The Downside
Using the withdrawal method involves a lot of discipline on the man's part. A man must be familiar enough with his body to know when he is about to ejaculate in order to pull out and ejaculate somewhere away from the vagina and vulva. A couple must also have a great deal of trust between each other to use this method effectively. Additionally, many couples find the sudden interruption of sex diminishes their enjoyment of the experience.

Success?
The withdrawal method of birth control has an average failure rate of 19%. Although it can be used effectively, it is not uncommon for an unplanned pregnancy to occur when a couple uses this type of contraception. Moreover, it is important to note that men have what is known as "pre-ejaculatory fluid" which seeps out from the penis when a man has an erection. While this is mainly made up of lubricating fluid, it is possible for a few sperm to be present in this fluid along with certain sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV. Even if a man pulls out during sex, there is still a possibility that pregnancy may occur.

Unfortunately, withdrawal is the least likely to work for teens yet this is the age group that this type of birth control is most popular with. In general, the withdrawal method is not suitable for:

Men who ejaculate prematurely
Men who are not experienced enough to know when to pull out
Couples that do not have a high level of trust, self-control and experience.

Teens
This form of birth control also offers no protection against sexually transmitted diseases. To completely eliminate your risk of STDs and pregnancy, consider abstaining from sex.

openness to one another is another key to a long lasting relationship plus understanding. if you are so ppen to your partner, there is no way you can resolve any conflict plus the fact that you are not hiding anything from him or her. if something bad is brewing talk to your partner, be open to it and discuss it one on one. if there's a conflict, resolve it immediately before it grows bigger and escalates to a much bigger quarrel. that's what me and my wife are trying to do. my wife is really a nagger and if she doesn't like something, she will not tell me but instead she will not talk to me or lest hide it from me. she will just reveal it when another thing happened. i really don't like it. so i talked to her, explained to her everything. asked her not to do it again. encouraged her to speak up everytime she felt angry or upset with something. and slowly she's going with the flow. and hopefully we can master this routine and praying that this could lead us to greater heights in our relationship.

It's because i know that boholanos are helpful, sharing and kind.

BPO will further boom here in our country if english is used the medium of instructions in public schools. Arroyo should tell Jesli Lapus of DepEd to stop revising the curriculums and stop implementing in using tagalog as the medium of instruction in the schools. The result of this would severely affect the learning process of the students since most of the subjects in college and universities are in english except for filipino. science, mathematics and computer related subjects used english in their terms, subject lines and definitions and obviously it's not tagalog. we can learn tagalog in any given day.

Tiny, long-lost primate rediscovered in Indonesia

Tue Nov 18, 6:32 pm ET Reuters â€"

On a misty mountaintop on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi, scientists for the first time in more than eight decades have observed a living pygmy tarsier, one of the planet's smallest and rarest primates.

Over a two-month period, the scientists used nets to trap three furry, mouse-sized pygmy tarsiers -- two males and one female -- on Mt. Rore Katimbo in Lore Lindu National Park in central Sulawesi, the researchers said on Tuesday.

They spotted a fourth one that got away.

The tarsiers, which some scientists believed were extinct, may not have been overly thrilled to be found. One of them chomped Sharon Gursky-Doyen, a Texas A&M University professor of anthropology who took part in the expedition.

"I'm the only person in the world to ever be bitten by a pygmy tarsier," Gursky-Doyen said in a telephone interview.

"My assistant was trying to hold him still while I was attaching a radio collar around its neck. It's very hard to hold them because they can turn their heads around 180 degrees. As I'm trying to close the radio collar, he turned his head and nipped my finger. And I yanked it and I was bleeding."

The collars were being attached so the tarsiers' movements could be tracked.

Tarsiers are unusual primates -- the mammalian group that includes lemurs, monkeys, apes and people. The handful of tarsier species live on various Asian islands.

As their name indicates, pygmy tarsiers are small -- weighing about 2 ounces (50 grammes). They have large eyes and large ears, and they have been described as looking a bit like one of the creatures in the 1984 Hollywood movie "Gremlins."

They are nocturnal insectivores and are unusual among primates in that they have claws rather than finger nails.

They had not been seen alive by scientists since 1921. In 2000, Indonesian scientists who were trapping rats in the Sulawesi highlands accidentally trapped and killed a pygmy tarsier.

"Until that time, everyone really didn't believe that they existed because people had been going out looking for them for decades and nobody had seen them or heard them," Gursky-Doyen said.

Her group observed the first live pygmy tarsier in August at an elevation of about 6,900 feet.

"Everything was covered in moss and the clouds are right at the top of that mountain. It's always very, very foggy, very, very dense. It's cold up there. When you're one degree from the equator, you expect to be hot. You don't expect to be shivering most of the time. That's what we were doing," she said.

Health and Food / Obesity and the Salt Connection
November 19, 2008, 12:53:39 AM
The safe, sure, fast way to reduce excess weight is not to diet, not to cut carbs/calories/fat, but just to avoid salt/sodium and salty food.

If you are very overweight and sick of diets that do not work and tired of counting calories and always being hungry. - Give up dieting/'slimming' and lose weight the easy, healthy, safe way by eating plenty of food but not food containing added salt.

Obesity is not caused by overeating; it is caused by salt sensitivity leading to fluid retention and thus to weight gain, and obesity is easily and swiftly reduced by eating less salt and salty food. - Slim people are not slim because they eat less than fat people (many of them eat far, far more than most fat people). They are slim because they are not sensitive to salt.

Lose weight, reduce your risk of most cancers, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, stroke, heart disease, vascular dementia, osteopenia, osteoporosis, hypercholesterolaemia, depression, liver and kidney problems, and improve your health in many other ways without drugs or expense by eating less salt! - Try it! - You will feel so much better!
