dili ba unta kita man hinoon ang mo-kita ni-ining maong kalambo-an, dili ba kita ang mo-asenso ni-ini.

i hope this blog will be successful as i really like the idea. i did have similar thoughts some time ago but i'm not technie enough and not enough time, too.

can i suggest you feature some of the blogposts on your blog? i think it would be better if there should be prior arrangement with the authors para way ma-lain unya. i don't mind though bisan way pananghid (in my case), i will trust your judgment on it. what i had in mind are blogs like Filipino Voices and Philippine Commentary.

My friend at the Capitol, had told me that Madam Mally Tirol presided the SP regular session today (Mar. 30), because Herrera, the absenuous Vice Governor, was absent once again. My friend additionally said that, at the last session where Herrera was present he railroaded several Ordinances upon the instance of Gov. Aumentado,  a true rubberstamp if I may say.

Despite his protestation as printed in the Sunday papers that he is not a rubberstamp...a privilege speech delivered by the Honorable Ae Damalerio, recalling three of the ordinances outlined how, these ordinances regarding the re-engineering were railroaded that it may be used to further their political stock for the incoming elections...

This just goes to show that Filipinos, and Filipino politicians in particular, have not really matured yet to the level where one can expect loyalty to political parties and the social agenda that they stand for.

Lakas, Nacionalista, Liberal--how do we tell one from the other? They are better known by their standard-bearers and not the standards that the parties stand for.

For "career" politicians, their allegiance is really based more on who has the money to mobilize the political machinery and clinch the votes. And the voters? I think they're no different--they'll vote for the likeliest person to bring the bacon.

Wonder why we're always back to square one, election after election? Despite the combined fortunes of Villar, Pacquiao and Revillame behind Nacionalista Party, I still hope Liberally...

My thoughts exactly but you expressed it way much better. Go Liberal Go! Noynoy for President! Montano for Governor! Vote straight Liberal Party!

Why pick on Rapal? I know a little about Corella since I have relatives in Cancatac (known to us as Canadatac :)) where we use to go on summer vacation sa mga bagtos pa mi.

As to airing grievances here in TB this is not the proper forum. Go to the Ombudsman with your papers. Why pick on a former Corellahanon nga dili man kandidato? Supporter? Yes, but only that.

Kung nagpraktis ug paglantugi aw pwede diri pero way personalan. Stick to the issues without resorting to personal insults.

Our honorable officials are washing their dirty linens in public! So what else is new? And you now this after his three terms as Governor? That was the problem behind the unification. He suppressed the true spirit of democracy. Oo, dunay maayong resulta to pero karon, unsa na man? I never did like the idea of unification for the betterment of Bohol. The road to development in a democracy is not easy, it's not supposed to. That meant there should be 'check and balance' to counteract the anomalies.

I support this and Axcel is doing a good start. Accomplishments and platforms are needed here. No muckraking please, let's leave that to the candidates themselves! Let's raise the bar for once.

I support Cesar Montano for Governor, though! Good luck to all candidates and may the best candidate wins whoever they will be.

Sir Hugo, paminawa ang akong tubag.
1. Tinuod, ako Corellahanon, taga Canangca-an.

Very well said, sir! Well done!

Ikaw kaboy, usa ka concern citizen sa Canangcaan, please refer to the barangay captain or the PTA officials.

Noynoy leads in Bohol Polls, and that's according to the latest HNU Polls:

"LAST MARCH 16, LOCAL MEDIA IN TAGBILARAN City, Bohol, were stirred by a public presentation by the Research Center of Holy Name University (HNU) of the following voting intention percentages from its Bohol Poll of Feb. 13 to March 8, 2010:

For President: Aquino 44, Villar 24, Teodoro 6, Estrada 2, Madrigal 0.3, Villanueva 0.3, Acosta 0.3, Gordon 0.2, Perlas 0.1, de los Reyes 0, and Don't Know/Refused (DK/R) 23.

For Vice President: Roxas 43, Legarda 19, Binay 11, Manzano 3, Fernando 2, Chipeco 0.1, Yasay 0.1, Sonza 0, and DK/R 23."

If you want to read more go to this link http://opinion.inquirer.net/inquireropinion/columns/view/20100327-261027/Noynoy-leads-in-Bohol-Poll

Aquino 44% as against Teodoro 6% and the local PaLaKa officials are united in demolishing each other. That hardly attracts confidence in a Gilbert (he is not Gibo) Teodoro win in Bohol.

i ALWAYS BELIEVE IN TRACK RECORDS... the best record of service to the people, relatively is that of GIBO

DI BA LAIN?

What track records are you talking about? I checked his website pero corny kaayo pang-estudyante. Remember typhoon Ondoy and the Ampatuan massacre. It happened during his watch as DND Secretary. I can hardly call it very good track records.

Gibo was the favourite nephew of Danding Cojuanco, no. 1 crony of the dictator Marcos. Karon, mibalhin ni GMA, worst president of the Philippines next only to dictator Marcos.

Basta ako I look for integrity in a candidate. Track record is a given for me. After Cory, I voted/supported the following candidates - Sen. Jovito Salonga against FVR, Mayor Fred Lim against Erap, Sen. Raul Roco (+) against GMA, Sen. Raul Roco against GMA. So, you see I went for the non-winners.

Now, I am for Sen. Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III. If he wins, that would be a first for my candidate.

Wa nay lain!

any plans of moving to your own domain and hosting?  also, wanna want to transfer to wordpress?  I can help you with that.

You might ask, why man motransfer ka to your own domain? Simple answer, your own domain, no more *.blogspot.com or *.blogger.com or *.wordpress.com.  It will just be as simple as *.com.  (* is you domain name of choice)

with hosting, you will be in full control of your files, including theme and templates.  So makaedit ka from size to font and etc.

I did thought about it since I've been blogging for two years. Pero di lang sa kay medyo busy. Hobby ra man gud pud ni naho. Happy ra man ko ani. But I'm not closing the possibility.

B:)

I was aware that I used some strong language in my comment, which you took offense. But, like you, I was also expressing my opinion - dissenting and informed, because of the unhelpful comments just said.

You asked, where was the crab mentality? We can argue on how we define it that is why I qualified it with a "mura man nig." The comments made that I reacted to have negative connotations that will potentially put off people from voting for Chocolate Hills. The Hills was just reinstated this week in the list of nominees after being stricken off due to a stupid error i.e. not setting up the Official Support Committee (OSC) to support the campaign. This was a basic requirement and is clearly said so in the organiser's website! When it was de-listed last week, it was at no. 6; this week, it came back down at no. 9 spot. It is still a long journey ahead for Choco Hills so any unhelpful comments that is being said is akin to a crab mentality behaviour. I am worried that they will affect the campaign, and will stand to lose precious votes; thus, pulling Choco Hills down further from the list and with it its chances of making it to round two.

When I did my blogpost about the New 7 Wonders of Nature I have thought about how to spread the message of voting for Choco Hills. One of the venues I believe can help is Tubag Bohol so I started a topic sometime in March. It got decent exposure, I think. Subsequently, others have independently posted about Choco Hills and New 7 Wonders of Nature campaign. So far, from what I gathered comments are positive.

I do know enough about this campaign to enable me to make informed opinions and to be passionate about it in my own little way. I am not officially involved in any committees. I support the campaign as a proud Bol-anon by casting mine and wife's votes (and close relatives), disseminate the information as widely as possible and campaign to friends and strangers alike for Choco Hills. It is not for me to worry about the nitty-gritty of this contest! That is for the OSC to worry about.

Peace, mon!

C'mon Mike, give this campaign a chance. There is nothing wrong with popularity voting. And I beg to disagree on the comment nga 'pangwarta ra ni'. Maybe I am wrong but I think this has something to do with the local paper who is spearheading this, aside from the provincial government.

About the Chinese and the Indian, please read this http://www.new7wonders.com/classic/en/n7w/votinganalysis/

Mura man nig crab mentality. Let us unite and who knows Chocolate Hills might make it. If not now, when? If not us, then who?

I have visited the site many times and I even initiated a small campaign of my own in my blog (http://boholonmymind.blogspot.com) ahead of Bohol Chronicle and the local governments. Why? Because I believe we have the opportunity of putting our favourite natural heritage in a bigger world map.

About the 'pangwarta', this is the second campaign. In the first one, one of the winners was Timbuktu, Mali. Do you know where Mali is? In Africa, and it is much poorer than the Philippines!

Vote for Chocolate Hills, please! Bol-anon man kaha ta.
