quote from jas4: "at least I did not grow up in your place who keeps judging other people without any proof"

judging other people without proof? ikaw siguro ang naghimo ana. as far as i am concerned, i was merely making an observation. also, it was not a blanket statement that included boholanos. i was only talking about what i thought was the typical boholanos. not included in my statement are the non-typical boholanos. having said that, nganong masuko man kag kalit? i was not even referring to you... you know what? you not only express yourself like an ignorant 12-year old, you also think like one. this will be the last time that you will be hearing from me on this issue not because i am scared of you - whoever you think you might be - but because jerks like you do not deserve to be spent time on. you can rant and rave all you want but people here are much, much smarter than you are and they can see very well for themselves kun kinsa ang yabag.

oh yeah?

no, it's YOU who needs to grow up... i was merely verbalizing an observation and you being a member of this forum has every right to make your comment as well whether you agreed with me or violently disagreed with me. but what did you do? you did neither. instead, you reverted to making personal insults which was totally uncalled for. if you thought that my reply was kind of too strong for your personal taste, it is because you rightly deserve such a reply. ani lang na bay and this is how it works: treat other people in the same way you would like other people to treat you. if you can't follow this simple rule when interacting with other people in a community, may i humbly suggest that you go back to the primitive cave where you probably were born and grew up in.

then ngano masuko man ka when you want people to treat you how you treat them?  maybe I am from a primitive cave but at least I did not grow up in your place who keeps judging other people without any proof.

Absolutely.

See 2 Maccabees Chapter 12

39
On the following day, since the task had now become urgent, Judas and his men went to gather up the bodies of the slain and bury them with their kinsmen in their ancestral tombs.
40
But under the tunic of each of the dead they found amulets sacred to the idols of Jamnia, which the law forbids the Jews to wear. So it was clear to all that this was why these men had been slain.
41
They all therefore praised the ways of the Lord, the just judge who brings to light the things that are hidden.
42
7 Turning to supplication, they prayed that the sinful deed might be fully blotted out. The noble Judas warned the soldiers to keep themselves free from sin, for they had seen with their own eyes what had happened because of the sin of those who had fallen.
43
He then took up a collection among all his soldiers, amounting to two thousand silver drachmas, which he sent to Jerusalem to provide for an expiatory sacrifice. In doing this he acted in a very excellent and noble way, inasmuch as he had the resurrection of the dead in view;
44
for if he were not expecting the fallen to rise again, it would have been useless and foolish to pray for them in death.
45
But if he did this with a view to the splendid reward that awaits those who had gone to rest in godliness, it was a holy and pious thought.
46
Thus he made atonement for the dead that they might be freed from this sin.

mao diay this book is chosen by the catholic church even if it contradicts the rest of the books in other christian group's bible...

di man pod baya tanang pulis, ingon ana. so sayop gihapon ka.

lain pod nimong sayop kay wa ko magkumpara sa Simbahan ug engineers...gakompara kos gitawag nimo nga "alibi"(Ginoo man tingali imong pasabot ana.). sa mga simbahan, ilang "alibi" ning Ginoo. sa engineers, standards of construction. which i said should be appropriately called "gisandigan" sa ilang rason.

peace.

ang standards of construction is dili naman na lalisunon.  pero kaning alibi about ginoo is lalisunon kay ang simbahan nahimbigit man sa daghan mga isyu, labi na sa lawasnung aspeto.

apan baya, kung tan-awon kining ilang gitawag nga "alibi" pwede baya pod ning gamiton as the "weapon" of the opposite side to make a point. kay kung sabton jud ang Ginoo (ug naa man galing), ngano gung di man Siya modawat ug mosabot aning butanga nga iya ra man tang binuhat tanan, di ba?

your analogy with church and engineers layo ra...

To add to that statement, Jas4, even before the Holy Church was established during Pentecost, the Jewish Priests and the Prophets who walked the earth before the WORD MADE FLESH came to the world also preached the sins of homosexuality and its abomination before the Eyes of God.

God hated it so much that he incinerated Sodom and Gomorrha with his Divine Fury.

The Talmud, the basis of the Old Testament, ushers the same message with Church Doctrine regarding this issue.

And to correct you, NO. God is not questionable.

The one who dared to question god was the devil. He was denounced and cast out of heaven.

I beg to disagree, your god is questionable.  besides, your only basis is your bible which is also in fact questionable.

I do agree.

note: I am not against EBA nor agree with him.  Just some points on your post (1-10) on reply to iam4change.

1. it doesn't mean abswelto ka, dili ka sad-an.  abswelto man gani si Arroyo nga klaro kaayong sad-an.  Dili sad abi guilty ka, sad-an ka. Naay daghan sa prisohan dili sad-an pero guilty kay way klaro ang abogado or ilang depensa.  If you are a congressman and a project is done in your district syempre naa kay klarong kalabotan.

2.  Kanang dam sa NIA was only good for few years.  I've seen it with my own eyes, maayo lang na pagsugod but as the years passed by, nihubas jud.  El Niño is not an excuse.

3.  we are thankful for the Circumferential  road but the implementation was questionable. again, nganong dugay mahuman ang usa ka proyekto when in fact kaya man unta?

4. with respect to hanjin, okay na sila motrabaho. with the bidding process, again and again, ang congressman naa gihapon say since sa iya man nang distrito.

5. with the NPA, wa na silay pili. I bet many, if not all, politicians kay gihulga na sa NPA one way or the other. @iam4change- I bet si Cajes nahulga sad na siya.

6. dili sad ko motoo nga nahitabo nga walay kontra si aunmentado. all politicians have opponents. if not, sila mismo mangita ug tawo nga makontra nila para aron ingnon naay kontra.

7. I agree that age is not a reason to deny someone the liberty to exercise his right to run in the elections.  but again, nganong wala man niya humana iynag angay humanon sa panahon nga siya pay diha anang pwestoha? ang ending ana, nahimo na nga excuse to run again. and if, gamiton na sad nga rason sa pilitiko ang typical nga alibi, "moserbisyo sa katawhan" daku nang botbot!  You can serve the community even you are not a congressman or you're not even a barangay kapitan.

8. this is what i hate with politicians. bragging on this that they have done when in fact that's the reason why people voted for you to be their representative.

9. simple nga tubag, nganong mohatag man ug date nga daghan man diay na ug pasikot-sikot nga proseso?

10. SOP is SOP.  This is one odf the reasons why our politicians suck on what they do!

8.
