lisora ba ni.  one thing with a successful suicide (that is, if this is really a suicide) is that there's some finality to it.  sayang ang iyang kinabuhi kun ang iyang gf diay nahikuyog lang ug laing lalaki kay sigeg paningil kay utangan ang lalaki niya dugay ra.

Jimm's 7-in-1 coffee not only has coffee, sugar and creamer but also natural ingredients which have special functions:

Agaricus mushroom - the natural immunity enhancer. it also helps reduce excessive immuno reactions to maintain body balance. and the best thing is, it also prevents cancer and its development.

Ginseng - the famous root of life which is now getting its attention in the marketplace. used as an herbal supplement, natural tonic and health food.

Reishi - sets the body into relaxation but in a safe way. proper rest needed by the body reduces toxins caused by stress and pollution and also promotes peace of mind.

Spirulina - many people who are into weight management are going to like this benefit. internal cleansing has been one of those and it is noted that it has not caused any allergic reaction. -- http://www.foodivities.info/

History / Conflict thesis
January 02, 2012, 09:57:15 AM
The conflict thesis proposes an intrinsic intellectual conflict between religion and science. The original historical usage of the term denoted that the historical record indicates religion’s perpetual opposition to science. Later uses of the term denote religion’s epistemological opposition to science. Also denominated as the Draperâ€"White Thesis, the Warfare Thesis, and the Warfare Model, the conflict thesis interprets the relationship between religion and science as inevitably leading to public hostility, when religion aggressively challenges new scientific ideas â€" as in the Galileo Affair (1614â€"15). The historical conflict thesis was a popular historiographical approach in the history of science during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, but in its early form is mostly discarded. Despite this, the conflict thesis remains a popular view among the general public. --Wiki

January 01, 2012, 09:40:07 PM

The khanjar (Arabic خنجر) is the traditional dagger of Oman. It is similar to the Yemeni jambiya.

The khanjar is curved and sharpened on both edges. It is carried in a sheath decorated in silver, on a belt similarly decorated in silver filigree.

A khanjar appears on the flag of Oman, as part of the national emblem of Oman.

There are many uses of the khanjar it is a symbolic weapon and worn by men after puberty. Nowadays it is used as a type of formal dress code and stylistic purposes. The release of the khanjar from its sheath before the 1970s was considered a social taboo and men would only do that if they sought revenge or assassination.

The khanjar can be found anywhere from Egypt to Iran under the same name. --Wiki

European leaders have warned of a difficult year ahead, as many economists predict recession in 2012.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Europe was experiencing its "most severe test in decades" but that Europe was growing closer in the debt crisis.

France's President Sarkozy said the crisis was not finished, while Italy's president called for more sacrifices.

Growth in Europe has stalled as the debt crisis has forced governments to slash spending.

The leaders' new year messages came as leading economists polled by the BBC said they expected a return to recession in Europe in the first half of 2012.

The cost of borrowing for some of the eurozone's largest economies, including Italy and Spain, has shot up in recent months as lenders fear governments will not be able to pay back money they have already borrowed.

With growth stalled, the pressure is on governments across Europe, not just ones using the single currency, to cut spending in order to meet debt obligations.

Fears are now focusing on a potential second credit crunch, triggered by the exposure of banks across Europe to Italy's huge debt. -- http://www.bbc.co.uk/

Besides the fact that 99% of the time someone shows a picture of the “Mayan calendar” and is really passing the Aztec Sun Stone off as Mayan, the 2012 calendar is a complex issue. All the focus is being aimed at the Maya’s Long Count calendar. Yet it is only a part of the most complex time keeping system the world has ever known. There are really a total of 20 different calendars that make up the dating system needed to calculate the Long Count.

The Long Count’s ending date for Baktun 13.0.0.0.0 being December 21, 2012 is being hammered into our consciousness from every direction. It’s as if no other day between now and Winter Solstice 2012 has any bearing on the future of humanity. The way all the prophecies and predications are being presented in regards to this ending date on the Long Count would lead you to comprehend that all of these catastrophes are set to go off in one massive calamity. It wouldn’t be wise to get the idea that nothing will take place between now and 12-21-12.

There are other dates that have been pointed out from the 2012 calendar that might be worth noting. Two versions of Mayan calendric symbol patterns have appeared in crop circles in the few years.  The first crop circle shows the cycles of the Long Count calendar framing the focal point of the fifth and current cycle showing that it is still in motion but ending in 2012. This pattern appeared August 2nd, 2004 at the ancient sacred site of Silbury Hill in Wiltshire, UK.

Then on August 9, 2005 a more concise Maya calendar crop circle went down next to Wayland’s Smithy long barrow, also in Wiltshire, UK. The pattern gives actual dates in 2012, showing a central solar eclipse taking place on May 20, 2012 which is also the Summer Solstice. It just so happens that there will be an annular eclipse on that day; annular meaning the only part of the sun that will remain in view will be a ring of light around the moon. There is in the symbols the announcement of a Venus transit across the face of the sun to occur 16 days later on June 6, 2012. NASA shows both of these events taking place on those dates in their Sky Calendars at NASA.gov.

The Mayas are not the only ancient culture who has a calendar created long ago with this ending date. The Cherokee people also have a 2012 calendar end date that has a final date for this cycle in time of December 18, 2012. This date is not given to us by Western academics but by the Cherokee themselves. The Cherokee have constellations that are unlike any other ancient people. Their calendar ends in the Constellation of the Rattlesnake.

Like the Mayas, the Cherokee also believe that this date marks the end of the age, not the end of the world. What happens at the dawning of the new age greatly depends on humanity’s path over the current age. The Constellation of the Rattlesnake shows the end of the age alignments in the Cherokee calendar for 2004 and 2012. The Cherokee people ask if we are ready to experience the arrival of Time Untime, for that is arriving on December 18, 2012 and is shown to last a 3 day period entered as a flower in their 2012 calendar.

Like the Mayas, the Cherokee’s Rattlesnake Constellation will become feathered when the Time Untime arrives, a bowl of blood in it’s hands and the Pleiades will form the 7 glowing rattles on the tail. Since the dawn of their time, great things have been foretold on their calendar of what will take place within all things on Earth, within the heavens and through the Universe. They know that the events in the Rattlesnake Constellation within the Milky Way at the time of the crossing will tell of the Time Untime of things to be.

Three days of Time Untime in the 2012 calendar kept by the Cherokee. When could time no longer be time? The ancients tracked time by the stars and planets in the sky. If the signs in the heavens, the sun, the moon, the stars and the planets of the entire solar system as viewed from Earth through the eons disappeared, there would definitely be no way to tell time. Could Time Untime arriving in the Cherokee 2012 calendar be the same as what is foretold in the Book of Revelations?

“12  ¶ And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;  13  and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14  And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.   15  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains…”  Revelation, Chapter 6. -- http://www.2012officialcountdown.com/

In the remote mountains of southwestern Colombia, the Cathedral of the Virgin of Las Lajas ranks among the most enchantingly beautiful pilgrimage shrines in the world. A scene of fairy tale splendor, its loveliness leaves one breathless. Sparkling white with soaring spires, the cathedral clings precariously to the side of a sheer cliff. The cliff wall rises above the swiftly running Guaitara river, which, in the space of less than a mile, has two sharp S curves through a steep mountain gorge. Two waterfalls flow directly from inside - not over - the jungle covered cliffs, plummeting a hundred feet to the surging river. Rains frequently come and go and lingering mists hide and reveal the church with the quickness of a magician’s hands. In concert with the ceaseless rumbling of flowing waters, church bells echo through the mountain valleys. -- http://sacredsites.com/

Las Lajas Cathedral located inside a deep gorge/canyon of the Guaitara River near Ipiales, Colombia near the border of Ecuador has a fascinating look with a bridge on one side and a cathedral on the other side of the the gorge.

It was originally built in 1754 after an Indian woman and her deaf-mute daughter reportedly saw an apparition of the Virgin Mary in a cave in the canyon and miraculously the child started speaking. Since then it is a regular pilgrimage and tourism destination. The current building (the fourth since the eighteenth century), replaced a chapel dating from the nineteenth century. The height of the cathedral from its base to the tower is 100 metres and the bridge is 50 metres high and 17 metres wide and 20 metres long. The main building measures 27.50 metres in depth and 15 metres wide.

In 1954 the Roman Catholic Church declared the sanctuary a minor basilica. Recently it has been voted as one of the 7 wonders of Colombia. -- http://bbs.keyhole.com/

Las Lajas Sanctuary (in Spanish Santuario de Las Lajas) is a basilica church located in the southern Colombian Department of Nariño, municipality of Ipiales and built inside the canyon of the Guáitara River.

The church is of Gothic revival architecture and was built from January 1, 1916 to August 20, 1949, with donations from local churchgoers, replacing an old nineteenth-century chapel. The name Laja comes from the name of a type of flat sedimentary rock similar to floor tiles found in the Andes Mountains. There was a claim that an apparition of the Virgin Mary was seen. The image on the stone is still visible today.

The inspiration for the church's creation was a result of a miraculous event in 1754 when an Amerindian named Maria Mueces and her deaf-mute daughter Rosa were caught in a very strong storm. The two sought refuge between the gigantic Lajas, when to Maria Mueces's surprise, her mute daughter, Rosa exclaimed "the mestiza is calling me..." and pointed to the lightning-illuminated 'painting' over the laja. The oldest miraculous event was recorded in the accounts of Fray Juan de Santa Gertrudis's journey through the southern region of the New Kingdom of Granada between 1756 and 1764. Without the benefit of sight, Fray Juan traveled through cities, fields and villages blind and on foot from Ecuador to Narino, Colombia begging people for money to build the Las Lajas 19th century chapel. At the completion of the chapel, Fray Juan miraculously regained his vision, he believed, as a result of his deep faith in the Virgin Mary of Las Lajas. In 1951 the Roman Catholic Church authorized the Nuestra Señora de Las Lajas Virgin, and it declared the sanctuary a minor basilica in 1954. --Wiki
