Again, this is only my own analysis kay basin tawgon napod tag s**** sa mga diehard nga binayran.

This just goes to show that Filipinos, and Filipino politicians in particular, have not really matured yet to the level where one can expect loyalty to political parties and the social agenda that they stand for.
Lakas, Nacionalista, Liberal--how do we tell one from the other? They are better known by their standard-bearers and not the standards that the parties stand for.
For "career" politicians, their allegiance is really based more on who has the money to mobilize the political machinery and clinch the votes. And the voters? I think they're no different--they'll vote for the likeliest person to bring the bacon.
Wonder why we're always back to square one, election after election? Despite the combined fortunes of Villar, Pacquiao and Revillame behind Nacionalista Party, I still hope Liberally...

As I said before (time and time again), it's pretty much easy to ask questions and casts doubts on people if you hide behind your anonymity. I will gladly answer your questions but identify yourself. otherwise, stick to your candidates' manner of conducting businesswhich leaves much to be desired haha

hayyyy politics.
Hapit na gani elections we see a lot of posts about politics, their visions, their reasons for being there, their reasons to be there
But after election...
lets see how many post about
the realities of their promises
the realities of why they are elected to their position
the realities of their responsiveness to the needs of their constituents
the realitites of how many times they consult their constituents
and other realities of what they are suppose to be and to do

There are lots of campaigns against breast cancer, because as Pressy said if detected early it is curable. Mammography is free here in Germany up to age of 50, but women who has relatives or this runs in the family should be watchful.
Some women are so resolute that they would rather have their breast amputated before cancer sets in.
Please consult your Gynecologist about self-testing for irregular lumps or suspicous growth in your breasts and armpits. Pag-amping mga igsoon!

maypa usbon ang title: some children in bohol are sexually abused.
using the word means not all of the children are abused and that we didn't specify who abused them in the title to give more thrill. that will make the readers curious as to who abused the children.

Unsa na headline? FILIPINO GIGOLO IN FLORIDA CONVICTED OF MURDERING FASHION MAGNATE GIANNI VERSACE!??
Aw kung naay Pinoy version of Jellybean siguradong mag yawyaw pod... joke joke joke.
Luoy baya pod si Jellybean kay maski unsa pa niyag duot iyang ulo pagsabot sa atong kinaiyahan ug kabuang, di jud nija maapas. In fairness to you Jellybean, your ignorance and unfamiliarity to our culture, customs as well as our "dry" sense of humor, coupled with some of our stubborness... makes it really difficult or even impossible for you to even comprehend what we're trying to say. Much less follow our trends of thought. Yes, you're right here JB, in the US when you say black it means black, no is no, yes is a yes. In the Philippines (Bohol especially which is surrounded by water) we have what we call "istorya ilawom sa dagat" (talk under the sea). Close to not talking in absolute terms..., meaning, we get OT (out of topic) easily but we know how to come back and get out of trouble... we spice things up a bit to get out of monotony of a topic or subject - and inject all kinds of thoughts, some harmful but with no intention to hurt (although sometimes our tactlessness do hurt)... sexual overtones and undertones but with smilies in them, etc.
In short, most people here at TB are not hardened criminals or what-have-you. They're just people trying to have fun over at the internet... expressing their thoughts, feelings or what... and we don't even know what part of the world they are from. Yes, we do have Boholano lineage - most of us if not all - but we're not bad people as you have insinuated or blatantly call us at times (that trigger not-so-good-thoughts), which naturally - without reservation - is pure speculation or simply a blatant accusation. I'm religious, yes, but I'm no messiah. I won't let anyone throw stone at me (unless I wear a hard hat). But admit it, you yourself got carried away way too easily because of just one word "foreigner" the writer of the article we don't even know. Maybe we should stone the media man, hahaha.

Villar is just following the sound, practical advice that you should suit your resume to the job you want.
When Villar was building his real estate empire, he consistently promoted himself as the well-connected mogul with a net worth to die for.
Now that he wants the top job in Malacanang, he is peddling his supposed past of poverty to win the votes of the poor, who comprise perhaps two-thirds of the electorate.
Since Philippine elections are determined largely by money, just imagine what a triumvirate with Manny Pacquiao and Willie Revillame can do to change the course of the elections with less than two months left.
If this presidency will be won by sheer hard cash, I can't imagine what the poor will get afterwards when debts and debts of gratitude will have to be paid back.
I just have the gut feel that if we buy the "poor Manny" story, we may just end up with an even poorer Philippines.

There is nothing wrong. The important thing is that you coped with death. Different people cope with death in different ways. Many cry, many stay silent, many pray and accept it, there are many intricacies of how the mind deals and copes with death. As it is a complex issue; one that is studied.
The most important thing, Anna, is that you have dealt with it, or are dealing with it in your own way. Continue to be strong.
Lorenzo.

I don't think there's anything wrong with you... that's all I can say. I buried one of my grandfathers (I missed the one on my father's side), both my grandmothers and my mother. To my surprise, wa na sad ko makahilak not like when we were still holding on sa himatyon pa sila (kadto nuoy maoy kuyaw and cried a lot of tears). Di sad ko ka explain why... in retrospect, I tell a lot of people, maybe, mao na toy summation sa atong pagtoo: faith in everlasting life, in a God who is good and who loves us no matter what and so forth. Personally I don't ask a lot of questions and rack my brain looking for answers.... I simply place myself on God's mercy and providence. And He does provide!!! I hope ning akong tampo makatabang pod gamay sa imong gibati...
Addendum: maybe this is what we call maturity and the acceptance of the reality that one day we will all be caput!!! Or ngani jud siguro ning nagka tiguwang na bwahahaha!!! (Sowee for the pakatok)
