while bugsay's was fun in its shock value and the merits of its layout and balance cannot be questioned, it has these things about it:  the kite has no wings, it needs a motor to make it fly because it is down heavy.  (with two balls to bring it down, what else?)  two monkeys were operating it; it would have made scarbzy the third monkey if she judged it the winner.  i doubt if a monkey will give anything as a prize save for a banana.

hahaha!  one of the wittiest turns i've come across lately.  'the far side' happens to be one of my top three favorite cartoons.  thanks for showing a picture of gary larson, bai hubag.  (lucky me, the banana republic had included larson's books as part of our collection.  larson's really good.  his comment on the honor of a rare louse named after him is an example.)

nada.  nothing doing.   after last night's computer crash, when all my files were threatened with extinction and i ended up sleeping at half past 4 a.m. just to save these, i don't feel like doing anything except listening to music and visiting tb now and then.  it's already midday here.  i'm thinking of the only reason for going out today; church it should be for our anticipated mass attendance at 6 p.m.

(saving my files was a first experience.  whew!  step by careful step, with a very meager computer familiarity, i felt like a blind man walking in a dark street at midnight.  then some kind of street brawl between drunks happened at around 3 a.m., and all the dogs barked.  last night was a scary night. )
