Withrawal or Onanism is actually displeasing to God. "Coitus Interuptus"So when Onan went in to his brother's wife he spilled the semen on the ground, lest he give offspring to his brother. And what he did was displeasing in the sight of the Lord, and he slew him also." (Gen. 38, 9-10)
If we were to apply that principle to understanding the sin of Onan the result would be pretty straight forward. The act which God abhors is enjoying sex without accepting its natural consequence: the conception of a child.
I sometimes think nga how close we are nga wa mo exist.Do you also think that? What if sa days nga giplan ta sa Ginoo nga ma concieve atong parents nag sex unya giwithraw.I am number eight child and very grateful about my existense.Made me wonder sometimes what if my parents never cooperate God plan, what if after number seven child ingon sila nga sakto na siguro wa gyud ko mo exist but I am thankful gi accomplish sa akong parents ang plan sa Ginoo.
Dawaton nalang gud unsa ang plano sa Ginoo di likayan. He has plan and we are here to accomplish His Plan.Bisan pa unsa ka daghan semen kung di hatagan na ug soul sa Ginoo di gyud na mahimong bata.

Very interesting, Raquel.

But was Onan slain by God because he slept with his brother's wife or for spilling his seeds on the ground?  Had he not spilled his seeds, would his life be spared despite having slept with his brother's wife? Or was the fact alone of sleeping with his sister-in-law enough the get the wrath of God?

David committed murder just so he could sleep with Batsheba. But God did not take his life away.

Should we Make Bohol Big in a Small Way; or Keep it Small in a Big Way?

There are factors to be considered from the Bohol side: The pace of progress which is good for the province; The investment areas that should be prioritized; The social and environment costs that necessarily comes with a particular kind of investment.

2. I feel anxious if I leave home without my pda. I feel naked leaving home without a pen.

3. Since high school until about 6 months ago I never combed my hair. I brushed it. Now, the urge is coming back and I may have to ditch my comb in the coming days.

4. I can't resist the temptation of salted peanuts. With the skin on, of course!

Cuddling is romantically important for the man.
As when a woman cuddles with her beloved man, it says to the man:

"I enjoy you, I feel protected by you, You console me, You Love me? I Love You, I need You"

And to men, who at times do not show their feelings by words, the physical motion of cuddling describes ten thousand words that a poem or story can exhibit.

It is the act of sensuality, the act of Longing.

My interpretation, that is. :)

Husband comes home tired from work.
Wife meets husband and gives a welcome kiss.
Wife says to husband: "Darling, let's sit on the sofa so I could cuddle you."
Husband's face lights up allows himself to be pulled to the sofa.
Wife starts cuddling the husband.
Husband allows wife to cuddle him.
Ten minutes passes.
Wife cuddles husband some more.
Twenty minutes pass by.
Wife cuddles husband even more.
Thirty minutes passes.
Dazed and disheveled husband stands with a grin saying,
"Oh, why didn't you say so, Hon."
Husband looks at panting wife and said, "Can you cuddle me one more time?"

;D There's a reason why some women don't verbalize their request.

There is the legend of the "Kampanang Ogis" (Silver Bell)

My recollection is sketchy but the gist of the story is this: During the Spanish colonization in Bohol, a priest cast a curse (I can't recall what and why). Thus, the kampanang ogis fell from the bellfry and rolled down into the Abatan river in Maribojoc never to be recovered by anyone who will attempt to get it. Accordingly, on a clear day and when the river is not muddy (when it is not raining upriver), an outline of the bell can be seen at the river's bottom. It has been said that a father of a former Governor attempted to recover the bell but failed.

The legend of the kampanang ogis is also part of the Eskaya folklore. The Eskaya is a "tribe" living in the highlands of the towns of Duero and Guindulman. Although now they get to where modern clothes and speak the local dialect, they have their own set of alphabets and language.

You may search for articles of Jes Tirol, our local historian.
