...bitaw, di gyod ta mapasmo basta fiesta sa Bohol, bira-bira, di pa kasaka sa hagdan, birahon na pod sa pikas, hehehe.. okz lang basta di lang ta mahulog sa hagdan.. basin mamista ta'g bukol kay nahu'g sa hagdan...  di pod ta mapiangan sige bira sa bukton, hehehe... gusto pa gyod makatipid tibuok buwan sa Mayo, dapat may listahan sa Fiesta sugod ta May 01 tagbilaran (tama ba?..) kaysa Calape Mayo 10... very significant ning mga petsaha.. Mayo 10 bday pod ni Mama fiesta... Agusto 10 fiesta Pangangan, bday pod ni Papa... love your neighbor gyod.. hehehe.. kaso lang pagka karong panahona manguyab ka sa pangangan.. lisod mangita ug dili paryente, hehehe.... morag paryente naman tanan.. ... modayo na lang mangita'g partner..hehehe

Mao ba..hehehehe.. tama gyod diay si Papa, Matutes (Matutis) is from Loon... maka trace pa ko sa "family tree" both mother and father side.When my parents were still living, when I was a child I was fond of asking about Bohol, the place what it's look like.. why most boholanos are migrating to other places, kung pwede pa sa buwan maadtoan.. sigurado tuay daghang bol-anon didto.. hehehe... I am looking forward to visit again my place of Origin, Pangangan with my family.. my children bisan ingnon ta, wala na ang mga punoan.. naa guihapon didto ang mga sanga..

taga Lawis diay ka? kinsa nga first cousin nako ang imong amiga, si Catalina? romana, mimi? hehehe..daghan man pod to'g anak si tay peling (pleyo).. pareha sila papa, onse ka buok.. bitin lang sila kay upat ang laki (di tiyak ang isa, hehehe. ayaw'g saba) pito ang baye.. sa amo, walo mi laki tulo baye, hehehe.. sanay guihapon ang Ytac... akong anak tulo pod ka buok puro laki (buyag) pasanayon nako ni diri sa Davao City, hehehe... nalingaw ko sa tubagbohol.com.. kadaghan ba basahon uy..! di maapas, hehehe.. actually, moderator/admin pod ko sa website sa surigao del sur... particularly Diatagon..... nice to be a member of this website..

I think Matutis is from Loon as what my papa said... pareha diay ta Raqz natawo sa Surigao hehehe. birthplace nako Diatagon. Lianga. Surigao del Sur.. duol ra ni sa Mangagoy nga diin nagtapok pod ang bol-anon didto, mga relatives pod nako ang uban. both father & mother side... nice to meet you Raqz..

Hi to everyone..

I find this website very interesting and friendly, a reflection of a true-blooded Bol-anon. I hope I can find new friends here. Actually, my parents are of Boholano Origin, particularly in the Island of Pangangan town of Calape. First time in my life that I stepped Bohol, when I was in my College years in Cebu. We trooped to Pangangan via Tubigon with my brother and some cousins to attend the Annual Fiesta, August 10. There, my parents from Surigao del Sur annually visited their birthplace/hometown, twas also a coincident that my father's bday falls on August 10... everytime my parents visited Pangangan, my father's siblings have the reasons to have the dual celebration, a birthday and a fiesta in two... We are eleven siblings in the family, five (5) of them were born in Pangangan... due to dire needs, my parents decided to look for a greener pasture in the "Land Of Promise" in 1960 and settled in Diatagon, Lianga, Surigao del Sur... dahil na rin sa kasipagan ng Papa at Mama ko, nadagdagan pa kaming magkakapatid ng anim (6), eight brothers & three sisters.. pang-walo na ako... (parang self-introduction na 'to ah?..hehehe)

Presently, am here in Davao City, a Bank employee dito na rin nakapag-asawa but I always remember Bohol, the place of my forefathers.. the place of my origin.. hope to visit this place again with my family  whom longing to see the place of their lolo and lola.. especially, Pangangan island.. I've miss a lot there, my closest relatives, of course the seafoods.. ang kasag, saliot hehehe daghan pa.. basin kapoyan na mo magbasa...

Thanks for the space... I hope I can inter-act with the old-timers here and make some posts/ comments.

thanks raqz... actually dili ko Garay..hehehe... ako iyaan si tiya celing (just died, may she rest in peace) nakabana ug Garay...ilado pod ng Garay sa amo sa Surigao del Sur... ang ako gyong apelyido, YTAC.... hehehe...  kung si kinsa ang taga Pangangan diri.. particularly sa Talisay... kanang may atabay diha nga karaan, sa magulang na ni Papa, Pelagio Ytac... atbang nila nong belong Atabelo..I have my boardmates also in Cebu from Kinabag-an, sila si Dodong ug Mary-Ann Mozo, ilang mama si 'nang Mila. I knew this family.. almost 20 years naman ko wa kabakasyon sa Pangangan,hehehe.. basin pabayron nako sa among kaligoanan sa una kay balita nako.. daghan na daw mga beaches sa talisay... any update?... salamat.

'am newbie of this website but  I am 100% bol-anon, certified Pangangan origin... my parents migrated in Mindanao to look for a greener pasture in Mindanao we back 1960's in Surigao del Sur, which happened now to have a Panganganon Congressman 2nd District in the name of Florencio " Insiong" Garay.. five (5) of my elder siblings, 2 boys & 3 girls  were born in Pangangan particularly in Talisay while six (6) of us, all boys were made in Surigao del Sur. I always visited Pangangan when I was studying in Cebu before (USJ-R) from 1986 - 1990. I really loved that place, I missed a lot, the kinilaw, saliot, saypo, tuyom, suwaki, kubotan, nukos (basta daghan, hehehe.. apil kasag..) I also miss my cousins, Uncles & Aunties, sad to say, my father's sister & brother  have gone thy rest lately without seeing them once again cause I am now herein Davao City where I was working as bank employee.

Bol-anon are noted of being courteous, polite and low-profile person/s. I have experienced that when I first stepped Bohol when I was first year college in Cebu when we made a stop-over in some of the terminals there,  where we instructed by our parents to proceed to Pangangan. That was fiesta August 10 and the very significant was.. it was also my father's bday. The next scenarios was introdcutions, hugging ng ipakilala na kami ni papa sa kanyang mga kapatid noon... nakakaiyak naman.. sabi ni papa, "manong, manang these are my sons.." grabe talaga.. ang sumunod na pangyayari.. walang pakundangang KAINAN, hehehe.. we easily got acquianted with them and felt at home, lahat mababait.. (i love my own, hehehe)

I hope I can contribute, inter-act with you, old timers and may post something in this website.
