Thats what life is all about, friend.

Its all about struggles. And overcoming those struggles, By Grace of God.

There is nothing we cannot do that God has not provided us with the means to overcome those struggles/obstacles.

When the Roman centurion asked Jesus to come and heal his servant, Jesus told him, "Your faith has healed you!" The meaning in this--put inasmuch faith in your own abilities as well as have faith in God's abounding GRACE--that wills you to overcome whatever obstacle it is that separates you from the Love of GOD.

Nothing in this life is without struggles. Christ, OUR LORD, HIMSELF, suffered and died on the cross for us.

Its up to the individual to find beauty and grace in his or her struggles. In Jesus, it is called Sanctifying Grace.

Prayer is often in the womb of a sigh: "Lord, thou hast heard the desire of the humble" (Ps. 10:17). When others cannot know what a groan means, God knows because His Spirit made the sigh. He first makes prayer as an Intercessor and then hears it as God.

Remember that God hears your tears!

I have not so much as a voice. Yes, but there are other voices besides those that are articulate. For example, there is a voice in tears: "The Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping" (Ps. 6:8 ). A baby has no prayers for the breast, but a mother can interpret his weeping.

Nothing is hidden from The Lord God.

Its amazing how much scientists/medical researchers go just to preserve their name / immortalize their contributions to science. Even if it means just impressing their names to a medical condition.

For example, there is a condition that involves the bacterium. Neisseria Gonoccus. An infection of the liver--leads to inflammation of the liver capsule, this condition leads to the formation of abnormal tissue connecting the outer band of the liver to the abdominal tissue.

Physicians refer to this condition as : Fitz-Hugh-Curtis Syndrome.

or FHCS. Such a long term when in all reality we could just call it PH (perihepatitis). Because, in all reality, that is what it is. ;D

What's in a name?

Christ Jesus, Himself, cried at the weeping and mourning of the relatives of his friend Lazarus. He was moved to tears. And resurrected Lazarus by a mere word, "Rise!".

Message of Jesus: There is no eternal death in those who believe in Him. Forever believes in the Son, shall see the father. And those who deny the Son before men, so too will Jesus deny them before the Father.

To cry, to mourn is natural in this vale of tears. For it is reminder of how beautifully blissful it is in Heaven. To which our Father in Heaven calls us to--In Jesus Christ's Name.

This is what we find when we look for Him.

Because, we are reminded--by Our God--what the cost is for Salvation.

He died on the cross--so that we might Live!

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.   And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

Philippians 2:5-8

--

Christ died for our sins. He did not die so that we may continue to kill and murder innocent children!

Oh have you that support this unjust murder be opened! May your eyes be opened!

Did not Christ forgive us for our sins on the cross? And yet you support such wanton Murder?

Untold millions of unborn children are murdered every year!

For Shame!

Abortion is MURDER.
MURDER is EVIL.

Remember and Read!

The Lord God Of Israel Thundred:

17 You have wearied the LORD with your words.
"How have we wearied him?" you ask.
The Lord God Thundered, "By Saying All who do evil are good in the eyes of the LORD, and he is pleased with them" or "Where is the God of justice?"

DAY 4

Genesis 9: 5-6

Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man's brother I will require the life of man. Whoever sheds man's blood, by man his blood shall be shed; for in the image of God He made man.

God values every human life so highly that those who take a life unjustly shall forfeit their own

The value of every human being can hardly be seen more clearly than with this verse. God, the King of the universe, has created all human beings in his image, and declares forthrightly that the unjustified shedding of the blood of any individual will require the blood of the one who shed it.  God's concern for human beings is not limited to any particular group. Indeed, his concern is universal, and includes male and female, young and old, born and unborn, disabled and able-bodied, the citizens of every nation on earth.

Abortion, the deliberate killing of the unborn, is the shedding of innocent blood. Surely the blood of millions upon millions of innocent children cries out to God.  It is true that we live in an age of grace, and yet this passage (among many other texts which express similar sentiments) should give every thinking Christian pause.

Christians, of all people, entrusted with the Word of God as we are, must take a stand.  We must speak out.  We must do all that we can to protect the innocent, to pursue justice, and to encourage the repentance of all those who bear responsibility for this great evil.  Only in this manner can we hope to forestall the judgment that must otherwise surely come.

This passage should also be seen as an encouragement to educate and disciple our children and grandchildren about what it means to be human, and the responsibility that will become theirs in this ongoing struggle.

O Father, forgive us for our lack of courage and our want of compassion for the unborn and for those lost and hurt by abortion. Fill us anew with your Spirit. Renew our minds. Strengthen us in righteousness. Help us be people of salt and light within our nation. May every human being, from conception to natural death, be treated with the respect due those made in your image. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. The Same Lord.
Amen.

Keep them; I pray Thee, dearest Lord.
Keep them, for they are Thine
The priests whose lives burn out before
Thy consecrated shrine.
Keep them, for they are in the world,
Though from the world apart.
When earthly pleasures tempt, allure --
Shelter them in Thy heart.
Keep them and comfort them in hours
Of loneliness and pain,
When all their life of sacrifice
For souls seems but in vain.
Keep them and  remember, Lord,
they have no one but Thee.
Yet, they have only human hearts,
With human frailty.
Keep them as spotless as the Host,
That daily they caress;
Their every thought and word and deed,
Deign, dearest Lord, to bless.

O Jesus, eternal Priest,
keep your priests within the shelter of Your Sacred Heart,
where none may touch them.

Keep unstained their anointed hands,
which daily touch Your Sacred Body.

Keep unsullied their lips,
daily purpled with your Precious Blood.

Keep pure and unearthly their hearts,
sealed with the sublime mark of the priesthood.

Let Your holy love surround them and
shield them from the world's contagion.

Bless their labors with abundant fruit and
may the souls to whom they minister be their joy and consolation here and in heaven their beautiful and
everlasting crown.

DAY 3

Genesis 1:26-27

Then God said, ”Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth..” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created them.

All human beings have worth

That all human beings are made in the image of God is the basis of human dignity and of human rights. The unborn cannot speak for themselves. Our text teaches that the Lord would have us speak and act on their behalf for to do so is one of the important ways in which we exercise the dominion God has given us over the earth and all the living things upon it, including our fellow human beings, including the unborn. This responsibility is given as a command, and calls for obedience and faithfulness. It is a truth not merely to be accepted and believed, but to be put into practice.

From the earliest days of the Christian Church the unborn child was considered a neighbor; made in the image of God and worthy of the respect and compassion we owe all neighbors. Thomas Jefferson drew on this truth in the Declaration of Independence affirming, “all men are created equal.” More recently, in his Gospel of Life, Pope John Paul II upheld this fundamental affirmation of human dignity.  Until all human beings, and the unborn in particular, are recognized as being made in God's image, the struggle for universal human rights will go on.

To de-legitimize abortion and to elevate the unborn into full acceptance among the human family will be a long and arduous struggle, not unlike the struggle against slavery and racism. As Christians, we are committed for as long as the struggle may take.  It is a matter of truth; for the dignity of the unborn, and of every other human being regardless of race or condition, is apparent to anyone with eyes to see.

O Lord, open the eyes of the blind to the reality and the worth of the unborn. Give to your faithful people the courage and wisdom to endure in this ongoing struggle to bring them fully into the acceptance of the whole human family.  We pray this in the name of Christ our Lord. Amen.

Be Confident In Jesus

Jesus reminds us that WE are to be like the Mustard Seed. Ye we are small, compared to mountains that lie before us. But Christ tells us that in faith--and by faith alone, the Mustard Seed was able to move the Mountain. By merely telling the mountain to 'Move'. And the mountain did move--and plunged itself into the sea.

Jesus Christ who is LORD, tells us through this parable that there are no impossibilities in God. For man, yes there may be limitations, but for GOD there is none. All things are Possible for HIM. So we, children of iniquity, should boast all the more of our frailties and our iniquities so that the spirit of JESUS and HIS FATHER will dwell within us.

In WHOSE MIGHTY POWER will perfect and sanctify.

So in all things that we do, we offer unto Jesus. Let us be confident in Jesus.

--
Jesus Said:"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

There are some times in our lives that we don't know why things happen,

Forgive me Father for despairing, as it is not yoru wish for me and my brothers and sisters to despair.

But to smile in confidence in the Love of Christ!

There are some things in this life, Father, that are just beyond our control.
And at times we like to think that we are in control,
but it really isn't so.
You are in control.
You are ALWAYS in control.

In my difficult of times, in the trying moments, thanks for taking over the wheel, Papa.
We are confident of your Love, Papa.
You are the Father of the Prodigal Son, and we are that Prodigal son.

With arms wide open, you are ready to accept us.

Listen To The Calling Of The Holy Spirit

One thing that I have learned is the ability to listen in quiet times. In silence, you can heart not only your breath, but the beating of the Holy Spirit. Who dwells in our bodies. For we are His temples.

Open yourself to The Spirit's contemplation. Even if it means taking a break from studies and work, to sit in your room and listen. You'll know what I'm talking about. :)

I invite you, to listen. As I was invited and recommended to do so.

DAY 2

Psalm 139:13-16

For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.  I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed and in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.

Abortion -- the great “no”

Unlike the rest of creation, we are capable of a personal relationship with God.  Not only did God create us, but created us according to a plan devised from all eternity. No matter how far back we go in our imagination, there was never a time when God did not know each of us, in every detail of our being. There was not a particular time when God decided to make us.  The decision to make us has been in the mind of God from all eternity.  He decided to make us for as long as He has been God. All our days were written in His book. To dare to say that a human being, developing in the womb, should not be born is as wrong as to say that a born person should not continue to grow and live. In each case, an attack on human life is an attack on the God who formed and made us. Jesus Christ is the great “Yes” to the promises of God; abortion is the great “No.”

To assert that the unborn are not human is to ignore indisputable evidence and is a classic manifestation of the oppression and exploitation of people.  When people challenge us to prove that the unborn are human, they should be challenged, in turn, to prove that they are human!  All the scientific evidence that proves born persons are human also proves the unborn to be human.

Lord, I pray today for every unborn child. The beauty of the bodies and souls of these children flows from your hands and your eternal plan. Awaken in every human conscience a profound reverence for human life, and grant us grace to defend our smallest and most defenseless brothers and sisters, those still being formed in the secret places of their mothers’ womb.

This We Pray Through Christ Our Lord,
Who Sitteth on the Right Hand of The Father
Who Reigneth For Ever For Eternal Ages.
Amen

Former South Korean President Roh Moo-Hyun committed suicide Saturday by leaping to his death from a hill behind his house, the government announced.

He was 62.

Roh, who was president from 2003 to 2008, had gone hiking near his home with an aide about 6:30 a.m. Saturday (5:30 p.m. ET on Friday), the state-run Yonhap news agency said.

He was found later with head injuries, and died at 9:30 a.m. after being taken to a hospital in Busan, police said. A hospital spokesman declined to comment.

Roh left a suicide note for his family that family lawyer Moon Jae-in handed out to South Korean media. News reports said Roh wrote it on his computer about half an hour before he left the house.

"I am in debt to too many people," the note reads. "Too many people have suffered because of me. And I cannot imagine the suffering they will go through in the future."

Roh's death came amid an investigation into a bribery scandal that had tarnished his reputation.

Prosecutors were investigating the former president for allegedly receiving $6 million in bribes from a South Korean businessman while in office. Roh's wife was scheduled to be questioned by prosecutors Saturday, and Roh was planning to answer a second round of questions next week.

With Roh's death, prosecutors said, the case against him has been suspended.

Roh had said he was ashamed about the scandal. In the first round of questioning, he said he was losing face and that he was disappointing his supporters.

The former president said he learned about the payments only after he left office and that some of them were legitimate investments, Yonhap reported.

Roh wrote about his thoughts on a blog that he maintained, which also attracted supporters and tourists to his hometown, Yonhap said.

Roh's suicide note said his health was poor and that "nothing is left in my life but to be a burden to others."

"Don't be too sad. Aren't life and death both a piece of nature? Don't be sorry. Don't blame anyone. It is fate," he wrote.

The note asks that his body be cremated and for a small headstone to be left near his house.

"It's what I have thought about for a long time," he writes at the end.

Although Roh had not made a formal guilty plea, many were disappointed that a man who came to power vowing an end to corruption would face such allegations.

U.S. President Barack Obama said in a statement he was "saddened" by news of Roh's death.

"During his tenure, President Roh contributed to the strong and vital relationship between the United States and the Republic of Korea," Obama said in the statement issued by the White House. "On behalf of the government of the United States, I offer my condolences to his family and to the Korean people."

Roh hoped to leave a legacy of improved relations with North Korea.

Just before he left the presidency, Roh became the first South Korean leader to cross the demilitarized zone and meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Il.

Roh believed in the "sunshine policy" of his predecessor, Kim Dae-Jung, that sought to engage the north, and Roh also promised aid.

Roh spoke to CNN correspondent Sohn Jie-ae just after that trip and said he thought his legacy would be to ensure that many others crossed the demilitarized zone after him. The current South Korean president, Lee Myung-Bak, however, takes a harder line on the north and has so far not continued Roh's efforts.

Fighting between government and rebel forces in Somalia over the past two days has killed more than 40 civilians and wounded about 150 others, according to sources at the scene.

Most of the casualties occurred Friday, when 39 Somali civilians were killed in crossfire, hospital sources and eyewitnesses told CNN. Officials said 138 other civilians have been admitted to Madina Hospital in Mogadishu, where government forces went on the offensive against al-Shabab militants.

Somalia's Shabelle media reported three more deaths and more than a dozen others wounded Saturday from sporadic fighting and shelling in Mogadishu, which started after the rebels advanced to the presidential palace.

Government forces targeted the Bakarah market, an al-Shabab stronghold, and other militant locations in the city, sources said.

Eyewitnesses told CNN at least three government forces were killed in Friday clashes and that the dead bodies of militants had been spotted.

Al-Shabab -- once the armed wing of the Islamic Courts Union -- has been designated as a terrorist group by the United States, which says it is affiliated with the al Qaeda terrorist network.

One of the civilians slain was a journalist from Shabelle media.

The U.S. has offered to resume immigration talks with the government of Cuba, a State Department official said Friday.

"We intend to use the renewal of talks to reaffirm both sides' commitment to safe, legal and orderly migration, to review recent trends in illegal Cuban migration to the United States, and to improve operational relations with Cuba on migration issues," State Department spokeswoman Heide Bronke-Fulton told CNN.

The Bush Administration suspended the immigration talks with the Cuban dictatorship in January 2004.

A resumption of talks would follow President Obama's easing of family travel and financial restrictions between the U.S. and the island nation.

CNN reported last month that a high-ranking State Department official had met recently with Cuba's top diplomat in the United States. The meeting between Assistant Secretary of State Tom Shannon and Jorge Bolanos, head of the Cuban Interests Section in Washington, was part of informal talks on how the United States and Cuba can better coordinate on bilateral issues, including migration and drug trafficking, officials said.

Reaction to a resumption of immigration talks from three Republican members of Congress, all from heavily populated Cuban districts in Florida, was less than enthusiastic.

Reps. Lincoln Diaz-Balart, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Mario Diaz-Balart issued a joint statement saying:

"The Cuban regime continues to violate the [Migratory] Accord by denying hundreds of exit permits annually to Cuban nationals who have received visas to enter the United States. The Obama administration should first insist that the Castro dictatorship complies with the accord before renewing 'talks.' Regrettably, this constitutes another unilateral concession by the Obama administration to the dictatorship."

Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey also voiced his displeasure.

"The administration is missing opportunities to make real change in Cuba by not conditioning this type of opportunity on the regime acting to stop denying its citizens exit visas and charging exorbitant amounts of those whom they chose to let exit," Menendez said.

Dancing in public in not allowed in Iran, but thousands could hardly contain themselves at a recent presidential campaign rally in the capital city, Tehran.

On this day, the deafening cheers were not for presidential hopeful Mir Hossein Mousavi, but rather for his wife -- a woman some are calling Iran's Michelle Obama.

The comparisons to the first lady of the United States stem from the role Zahra Rahnavard is playing in her husband's quest for the presidency.

Never in the history of Iranian presidential elections has a candidate put his wife in the forefront of his campaign.

Wherever Mousavi -- a centrist candidate -- goes, Rahnavard is usually nearby.

"We look at her and we say, 'we want to be like her in the future, ' " said Shakiba Shakerhosseie, one of 12,000 people who packed into Tehran's indoor Azadi (Freedom) sports stadium to hear Rahnavard speak.

Iran became an Islamic republic in 1979 after the ruling monarchy was overthrown and Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was forced into exile.

The revolution also ended the ceremonial role of first lady that the last queen, Farah, enjoyed.

At this rally, Rahnavard -- a writer and art professor -- spoke for her husband, who was campaigning elsewhere.

Wearing a floral headscarf and a traditional black chador -- a full-length loose robe that women in Iran wear like a cloak -- Rahnavard called for freedoms she says were lost during President Mahmoud Ahmadijenad's term.

"I hope freedom of speech, freedom of the pen and freedom of thought will not be forgotten," she said.

The crowd, which was clad in Mousavi's trademark color green, cheered wildly. It waved placards with his picture and swayed from side to side, chanting and beating drums.

The women sat on one side; the men on the other.

The overwhelming majority were young voters, many of whom said they attended because of Mousavi's wife, a mother of three.

Iran's population -- estimated at more than 66 million -- has a median age of 27.

"I am really angry here in Iran with the position of women," said Saghar Kouhestani, adding that she supports Mousavi because of his wife.

Mousavi, a former prime minister, is considered a threat to Ahmadinejad, a hard-liner, in the June 12 elections. He is credited for successfully navigating the Iranian economy during a bloody eight-year war with Iraq in the 1980s.

Over the weekend, the Iranian government blocked access to the social networking site Facebook, where Mousavi has a page with more than 5,000 supporters, the semi-official Iranian Labor News Agency (ILNA) said.

Those attempting to visit Facebook received a message in Farsi saying, "Access to this site is not possible."

Political science professor Mohammad Marandi downplays Rahnavard's impact. She may win over reformists and women, he says, but what will win the election is a solution to the floundering economy and a strong performance in the debates.

"If Ahmadinejad does well in the debates, I don't think anyone will be able to defeat him," Marandi said.

DAY 1

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

The pro-life message is rooted in the two basic truths of life: 1) There is a God; 2) He isn’t me

From the beginning of the Bible until the end the theme is echoed that God alone has dominion over human life. He made it; shared it; died to save it; will raise it up forever. The act of creation described in Genesis 2:7, and earlier in Genesis 1:26-27, is a sovereign act. God did not have to do it and would have been happy forever without us. Yet without our asking for it or earning it, God brought us out of nothingness and into life, and sustains our existence at every moment. And He does so in Christ. “For by Him all things were created…in Him all things exist” (Colossians 1:16-17).

“You are not your own,” Paul declares in 1 Corinthians 6. God alone owns us. While He entrusts us to the care of one another, He does not allow any human being to own another. A Southern California abortionist, James McMahon, once explained how he justified killing children after 20 weeks gestation by partial-birth abortion. He did not deny that this was a child, but rather asked, “Who owns the child? It’s got to be the mother.” The struggle over abortion is really a struggle over the dominion of God. The Christian individual, and the Christian Church, cannot sit idly by when others declare that God is not God.

Lord, we are yours.  Thank you for breathing into us the breath of life.  Thank you for claiming us as your own.  May our words and actions in defense of human life proclaim to all the world that you alone are Lord of life and death, Lord of our freedom and of our choices.  We pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Bible Study / Prayer For Life [30 Days]
May 24, 2009, 09:20:58 PM
Intent:

The Bible reveals that human beings, male and female, young and old, from the first moment to the last breath, are made in “the image of God.” This unshakable truth gives profound significance to each human life. The National Pro-life Religious Council is convinced that it is God’s will that human life be held in the high regard that he intends.

We are all well aware of the increasing assault on the dignity of human life. It is important that the Church responds with its most effective weapon â€" prayer. This booklet is designed to help the Christian community do the important work of prayer in the battle for preserving the sanctity of human life.

The Lord of the Church, the Lord Jesus Christ, instructs us to pray that God’s will be “done on earth as it is in heaven.” The hope of the contributors to this booklet is that, by praying with intention, the conscience of the Church will be awakened to the plight of others: the unborn child, the mother struggling with a crisis pregnancy, the elderly who feel increasingly devalued and the severely disabled who are at the mercy of the decisions of others, and, having been awakened, we will be moved to act on their behalf. Toward that end, we must pray that hearts and minds, including our own, would be turned to embrace the beauty and truth of the fact that each human being is “fearfully and wonderfully made.” Such renewal might seem impossible given a pervasive and increasing disregard for human life, but remember -- our Lord teaches that we “always ought to pray and not lose heart.” The One who is Lord of the Church is also Lord of Heaven and Earth!

What follows is 30 days worth of Scriptures, meditations and prayers. These have been compiled and created by members of the National Pro-life Religious Council out of love for Christ and his Church.

May God be glorified in all that we do.

Eternal God, You have revealed Yourself as the Father of all Life. We praise You for the Fatherly care which You extend to all creation, and especially to us, made in Your image and likeness.

Father, extend Your hand of protection to those threatened by abortion, and save them from its destructive power. Give Your strength to all fathers, that they may never give in to the fears that may tempt them to facilitate abortions.

Bless our families and bless our land, that we may have the joy of welcoming and nurturing the life of which You are the source and the Eternal Father.

Father we ask this of you,
In Jesus' Name.

Amen.

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.

-- Acts 16:25

Contemplative Thought

Falsely imprisoned, Paul and Silas had been beaten "with many blows," placed in prison, and locked down in stocks. Under such horrible circumstances, they managed to praise God in hymns and pray to their Father in Heaven. Under this kind of pressure, their faith caught the attention of the other prisoners who listened to them. We need to be reminded that over the years of Christian witness, some of the most effective times of evangelism happened because Christians remained faithful and joyous people despite persecution and harassment. Nothing should limit our prayer and praise. God will use them to reach the hearts of those in the most difficult of places!

To God Be All Glory, Honor and Praise!

Be A Lamp Unto The Darkness

To speak the Word of God and to digest its message is a total and life changing event. When you do so--you surrender to Holy Spirit. Who already lives within your own inner selves. As we are temples of the Holy Spirit.

So when you speak in Scripture--be confident--be steadfast. Even if others disagree or if there will be some who do not believe or attack you because of your faith. Christ told us that we are like a 'city on top of a hill'. A lamp of the world, not to be hidden, but to be put up to shine.

Jesus is our strength and our justification. There is nothing in this earth that can break that justification. Jesus Reminds us of Our Duty. Singing His Glory even if others disagree with Christ's Message:

Our Duty!
"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.
--Matthew 5: 13

Christ Justifies even when people disagree with His Message.
He Is Our Justification. Truth, unassailable.

"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
--Matthew 5: 11-12

In college, I wasn't a big coffee drinker. I could work and study just with water or tea (Black or Golden or Ceylonese Chai).

But now, i need coffee. Everyday before class, i wake up at 6:45 am, to brew columbian coffee and store it in my portable mug. In class--i sip coffee. And in breaks--sip some more. When im reading--i brew again.

I like my coffee pure and black. No cream, no sugar. Just fresh brewed.

Right now am drinking Folgers. In my cup. ;D

Bible Study / Re: The Lord God Hates Divorce
May 24, 2009, 12:16:04 PM
First of all, no matter what view one takes on the issue of divorce, it is important to remember Malachi 2:16: “I hate divorce, says the LORD God of Israel.” According to the Bible, marriage is a lifetime commitment. “So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate” (Matthew 19:6). God realizes, though, that since marriages involve two sinful human beings, divorces are going to occur. In the Old Testament, He laid down some laws in order to protect the rights of divorcees, especially women (Deuteronomy 24:1-4). Jesus pointed out that these laws were given because of the hardness of people’s hearts, not because they were God’s desire (Matthew 19:8 ).
Quote“Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning.

It is distressing that the divorce rate among professing Christians is nearly as high as that of the unbelieving world. The Bible makes it abundantly clear that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16) and that reconciliation and forgiveness should be the marks of a believer’s life (Luke 11:4; Ephesians 4:32). However, God recognizes that divorce will occur, even among His children. A divorced and/or remarried believer should not feel any less loved by God, even if the divorce and/or remarriage is not covered under the possible exception clause of Matthew 19:9.
QuoteI tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery.”

Again, it is up to the individual to practice discernment. It is up to the individual to realize in his or her own heart what the Lord personally feels about the issue.

---

There is no debate. No contesting.

GOD is absolute in his message;
“I hate divorce, says the LORD God of Israel.”
--Malachi 2: 16

God Bless You All.

Repentance Is Open

We all sin. We all make mistakes. The point is--the realization of our sins and sincere need to repent to The Lord Our God for our mistakes and our sins is Imperative. That is the first step. The Lord God is open to absolve us of our sins and our misdeeds, but it begins in us. Its all up to us to take hold of the Salvation that He offers. The Absolution of our sins.

Tita Tess,

I just came back from mass today and had a talk w/ Fr. Ranulfo, my parish priest. And that is exactly the message he told me during confession. That we are all called to be saints, but once and a while, we will sin and err. Part of being human. Ang glad to know that your faith in God's Saving Grace is unchallenged.

For his mercies are from everlasting to everlasting. Even if we so happen to sin.

Hmm, this is interesting

:stroking chin: (in sign language)= in a way i know who it is, but one part of me wants to deny it is who i think it is because i just dont want to know that it is who i think it is, or perhaps it isn't really the person whom i think it is--just that the situation makes one feel it is who i think it is--knowing the fact that he wants me to think so--all the more to confuse and add to the intrigue.

Ah, GEC, you must be a great chess player.
