Poems and Poets / Re: Apple of Truth
June 20, 2009, 02:58:49 AM
I am so blessed.
I am blessed by the Love and Anointing of the Most High.

Thank you Lord, for the friendship of my friend Job.

Thank You Lord, Apple of Truth, Writer of Salvation.

Thank you for priveldging me with a mouth and voice to sing in your choir in church.
For giving me a mind to think, and a decent memory to sing your songs and your praises.

Most of all, Father, for allowing me to befriend so many good friends here in medical school.

To make friends like Job, Deena, Jayson, Teresa, Liz who are also faithful in your WORD.

Lord, am contemplating. Lord, am thankful for everything you provide for me.
Most of all am justified in my faith in you. You show yourself to me even in the most unlikely of places.

You're the best, Lord.

You know what im talking about. You know my heart from in on out.
You even know what im going to write before i even write it.

Papa

Mao na ang saying.

God Works in Mysterious Ways.

We find strength in waiting upon the LORD.
Wait for HIM, and he will provide.

Trust me, in this.
The cross may be hard to bear at times,
but he is there holding it with you.
Strengthening you.
Consoling You.

Wait upon the Lord.

God Bless,

This story made me cry.

More so, the story and personal testimony of Michelle's faith, unassailable. is what makes her so much more inspirational.

"She found strength in her faith.

“I prayed for healing,” Cristy said. “I thanked God that despite everything I was going through, I was healthy.”

While her body was getting weaker, Michelle’s heart remained strong. "

===

What a strong, and confident soul, Michelle was. I am confident that she is indeed now in the Arms of Our Savior Jesus Christ.

Sure ko ana. As precious are children to the eyes of the Lord. If we have faith in God as in Children, then we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Michelle's faith is the faith that Jesus talks about.
Tho her body was weakened, her heart and her soul was unaffected.

Why should we fear?
For the body is but a capsule, just a mere coating.
The body is perishable.

But the soul, is eternal.

Am giving my prayers for Michelle, and for her beautiful family.
---

Michelle may have passed on, but she is now in the arms of Our Savior Jesus Christ.
Author of Salvation,
Who is Mighty To Save.
He can move the Mountains
Jesus Rose from the Grave.

And he raised Michelle's soul.

----

As it is written:

Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and anyone who comes to me I will never drive away; for I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. This is indeed the will of my Father, that all who see the Son and believe in him may have eternal life; and I will raise them up on the last day.'
--John 6.35-40

Michelle's Faith is the Ideal Faith.
Power of Faith.
Saving Faith.

I maintain a confidence that even my colleagues recognize.
Either it be in the surgical lab, or just in lecture presentation.
My professors always compliment me on my confidence in material.

But for me, the root of my confidence is in Jesus Christ.

We are confident because the Word of God is in us.
We should be proud to be followers of Christ.
As Christians.
And not ashamed of it.

Why hide it?
Instead, we should shine it.
As Jesus told us, we are the light of the world.
A city built on a hill cannot be hid.

Glory to God!
Who is Our Confidence.
Unassailable.

Justification
Immeasurable.

Ako, personally, happiness for me is reading the bible every morning.
Before i go to class. When i wake up--i open my bible and read a verse. Everyday jud ni.
It is my own happiness and inspiration.

Nothing can compare to the feeling of the Holy Spirit's presence around you.
When you open yourself to contemplation of Scripture.

That, to me, is true happiness.

The Apple of Truth

Is

Scriptural Understanding.

As it is said, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom.

Fear The Lord,
Honor the Lord,
Glorify the Lord,
Love the Lord Your God with all your heart and all your mind and all your soul.

For who can compare and equal to the provisions
of the Lord God most High?

NO ONE COMPARES.

Above my own understanding,
I glorify you Lord

Above my own weak understandings, your word is Truth to my ears
Beauty to my eyes,
air for my lungs
sustenance for my body and soul.

Contemplation for the mind and soul.

It is the firmament of my reasoning, my understanding, and direction towards the Salvation you have awarded each and everyone of us.

It is our job, our duty to clam it.
Accept It.

You gave it to us.
It is for us to take and receive.
#37409
The Greek word translated "blessed" means "blissfully happy". The Lord Jesus promises that real, lasting happiness, along with God’s provision of all our essential needs, will be ours, if we "seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness", Matthew 6-33. That search is through reading God’s word and earnest prayer to Him.

Ecclesiastes 7:14 (NIV)
      When times are good, be happy;
but when times are bad, consider:
       God has made the one
       as well as the other.
       Therefore, a man cannot discover
       anything about his future.

We have to take both the good times and the bad, the happy times and the sad ones. As the Bible says, it is not for us to know when God will give us the happy and the sad times. But we have to be thankful for both times, because sad times make us appreciate the happy days, and happy days remind us that a reward awaits those that bear the sad times graciously.

TRUE HAPPINESS:

Happy are those
who reject the advice of evil people,
who do not follow the example of sinners
or join those who have no use for God.
Instead, they find joy in obeying the Law of the Lord,
and they study it day and night.
They are like trees that grow beside a stream,
that bear fruit at the right time,
and whose leaves do not dry up.
They succeed in everything they do.
But evil people are not like this at all;
they are like straw that the wind blows away.
Sinners will be condemned by God
and kept apart from God's own people.
The righteous are guided and protected by the Lord,
but the evil are on the way to their doom.

-Psalms 1

===

True happiness is in confidence in the Righteousness of God.
Confidence and Total Trust in God's Saving Power
Jurisprudence, Mercy, and Omnipotence.

Happiness Is In Abiding Him
Fearing Him
Loving Him.

True Happiness.

June 18, 2009, 12:43:50 PM
Quote from: Bunchy on June 17, 2009, 03:30:13 PM
Because of what Jesus did on the cross,we are saved. Glory to God in the Highest.

While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
No cost to pay too great -- was rejected.

Christ Jesus--the Word Made Flesh,
And the Word was the Creation of All Things,
humbled himself,
in the form of man,
by becoming man, he took up and challenged the sins of man's fall and the reign of Satan.

By becoming man, he de-authorized Satan.
By preaching and spreading the word of Salvation on high,
he re-established the connection between God Almighty The Father and fallen man.
By dying on the cross, he died and destroyed our sins, and purged Satan's hold on earth.
By rising on the 3rd day, he fulfilled and eradicated sin's control.
Defeating Satan and his legions, warning to them, that their doom was nigh.

That the CHRIST was risen,
THE WORD had come, had risen,
God in the Flesh, returning to his ethereal throne,
and paving the way for man, and those who believed in Him, towards SALVATION.

So that those who believed in HIM, CHRIST JESUS!
Would be spared the eternal damnation of Hell,
which is prescribed for the fate of Satan and his fallen legions,
and those who do not accept salvation.

CHRIST IS SALVATION.
The route on High.
The chalice of salvation
the body of life.

No other mediator between God the Father and Man but Jesus.

Jesus first, and only. :)

Bible Study / Re: The Lord God Hates Divorce
June 18, 2009, 12:36:55 PM
This is the most beautiful verse in scripture that resounds the same message as in Malachi.

It is beautiful to read that the message of Old Testament and New Testament are in union, in adoration, and unchallenged, when it regards Marriage. The bond between man and wife.

God tells us in Malachi that He hates divorce.
And he perfectly and divinely stamps his seal of approval
with the reference of Christ Jesus --dying for the church.
And referring to the Church as Christ's partner in ministry.

Christ did not divorce the Church.
On the contrary, Christ died for the church. so that salvation would be guaranteed and completed.
And His ministry propagated.
For the SALVATION of souls.

Pen of mine
how long we have been together
through stressful days
writing notes
capturing the professors words
in stride

Pen of mine, writing examinations
on my hand
pen of mine taking quizes
on my hand

Pen of mine, claiming home in my book bag (rugged)
Oh dear blue pen, you did you job.
But today of all days, you failed on me.

You ran out of ink.
On pen of mine.
Now you are in the trash can.

Hello, black pen.  ;)

With stethoscope around my neck
with white coat on my shoulder,
I begin to check heart rate.

Serious mode.
Academic mode.

Diagnosis
Prognosis
RX recommendation
Next.

Yet you stutter my plate of armor.
My stoicism
My conservative appearance

You smiled and giggled.

What's in a giggle?

I don't know
but it forced me
to
smile.

How can i not smile back?
At such a beautiful thing..

Back to work.

There she walks by the halls,
unbenownst to her,
her blonde hair flutters as the summer winds blow by

She turns,
offers a smile.
What can I do?

Return a smile.

My heart jumps in joy.
This beautiful lady that offers a gesture.

Her stride
her neck
her ankle so fair.

Her lips so red
Begs to be kissed.

But in conservative stride,
I walk past her, smile, smirk.
Containing,
ever so containing
the feelings of interest.

Till next time, lady.

i think there two line of thinking in treatment of sickness:

1. chemical treatment on disease

2. herbal treatment on disease

i preffer sa number two line of thinking....i luv guyabano too. :-)

Herbal medicine is effective, for some medical conditions. I agree with that.
But to forgoe medical treatment for a serious medical condition for using herbal remedy is contraindicative.

Ill give you examples. okay?

A patient who is sufferring from severe diabetes mellitus and has the symtoms of developing neuropathy, should not, NOT, NOT, stop taking insulin and dibaetes treatment for say---herbal drugs. Because of you do so, will lead the progression of hepato-splenomegaly, lead to severe neurpathy --> and lead to secondary infections associated w/ neuropathy. And lead to bacterial endocarditis (acute, or chorinic, same effect)

Or a patient who is suffering from CHF or RHF--and forgoing his or her treatment for their condition and instead taking herbal drugs--will most probably die within 6 months to ceasure of treatment. Because CHF, ACF, or RHF is a severe medical condition.

A patient who has a systolic bp = 200 and diastolic bp = 140, is taking metaprolol and CCBs--Verapamil, decides to stop taking his medication because he read in an internet forum that taking mushroom warts would directly stop and help his cardiac situation. Patient does so, without telling his physician. Patient, upon stoping his drug treatment, suffers severe angina pectoris, despite severe chest pain, does not taking nitroprusside or any vasodilators tha he had in his medical cabinet and instead took more mushroom warts in the belief that nature would cure him. What is the prognosis of the patient? Answer --> Grim.

Or a patient with mental conditions such as schizo patient stopping treatment and instead started taking nutritional treatment and herbal plants; this would be negative and lead to adverse effects for him, and the surrounding individuals.

Just 4 examples, of many possible candidacies.

PS. I love this thread. already.

Of course, there are different drug types; depends on their level of efficacy and action.

But in regards to cardiac tachycarrhythmia, the number one DOC (drug of choice)
for an HTN (hypertensive patient) is combinatory:

1. ACE-inhibitors
2. Beta-Blockers (olol types)
3. CCBs (calcium channel blockers).

A combination of these three types; can effectively restore proper cardiac function and decrease hypertension to normal levels and; lead to restore CO (cardiac output) and reduce COD (cardiac oxygen demand). Therefore we observe a reduction in afterload and preload.

----

MACA derivatives have weak effects as compared to the DOCs.

It is amazing because we covered this last week in Pharmacology class.

The notion of patient compliance.

Some patients will opt to take the herbal medications and not medical drug therapy.
If patient is in severe medical condition; warn him or her of the direct consequences.
Eg, pts that have CHF(chronic heart disease), CRF(chronic renal failure), CHD(chronic hypertensive disorder), cancer patients etc.
So long as the pt is in mentally-sound mind, the physician/surgeon, must--MUST remind his patient of the direct consequences of the ceasure of medical treatment for herbalics.

If patient--with mentally-sound mind--refuses treatment, then he or she has the right to refuse treatment. Covered under HIPPA Agreement that allows patients to refuse medical treatment---which could lead to patient's death.

But as medical students, we are reminded in the lecture room--from first day of our studies, that we are to constantly, constantly remind patients of contraindications.

Theirs is the option of acting on warnings, or refusing.

Ours is responsibility of sharing and inferring medical information. Warnings and what not. That is the SOLE responsibility of a physician/surgeon, and medical student.

----

Its amazing how what we learn in the classroom can be applied in every day happenings. Even if it happens to be in a Forum. :)

Dear Ondoy Lorenzo,

I highly salute your medical answers to the efficacy of this humble fruit Guyabano, libano, karnaba and whatsoever, but in our poor country where excellent medical service is only available to the rich and the few, this is a straw of hope.
We could hardly eat 3 square meals a day for a an average Filipino, medical bills just for a check-up, medications and the rest of the procedure is a financial nightmare!
Ang ating buhay sa ngayong panahon ng kahirapan ay kapit sa patalim!

Manay

Absolutely, and your post to this fruit is noted. I've done research on this, Manay. And wanted to add in the medical explanations , as even in very well off nations with superior Health Care Systems like Germany, France, UK, Canada (America's health care system is not as great, because we don't have a full medical coverance as in EU nations); many pts have left medical treatment for use of herbalics.

An example, Ive read into medical journals [New England Journal of Medicine] of how some HTN (hypertensive patients) have ceased taking Beta blockers like Propranolol and Metaprolol because of fear of sexual dysunction and instead started taking plant drugs, roots, and mushroom derivatives.

The result of which led to the deaths of many pts. The withdrawal of beta blockers, led to the continuaiton of their supratachyarrhythmias, leading to subsequent cardiac failure.

Lesson of the story: medical treatment is always, always, always, prime. If you want to take herbalics, please also offer the contraindications, as taking some herbals drugs will impede the metabolism of a prescribed drug; and even cause an unwanted effect.
---

Dangerous are these drugs, over the counter types, and unproven types that have not been tested by the FDA [Food and Drug Administration] because there are no clinical trails for these, no known side effects, no known adverse effects, and no biochemical pathways that defines the MOA (mechanism of action and metabolism) of the said herbalics.

Again, there is a reason why natural fruits, and organic supplements are purified and used in pharamcokinetcs---so that we can purify and eliminate the toxic effects of natural drugs.

An example is acetylclyic acid; comes from a tree bark. But pharmacokinetcs and trials have produced a purified form and one with longer DOA(duration of action) and MOE(method of efficacy).

---

With any drug, Manay, we must offer contraindications. Lest we provide wrong and erred information.

Best,
Lorenzo

I've checked medical search journals and Medical Research into this.
It's not even listed as a treatment option.

It falls in line with herbalics.

If one wants to follow homeopathic, by all means, do so.

Proper medical treatment of cancer has saved millions of lives since the discovery of chemotherapeutics as well as invasive surgical procedures.

As we speak, there are search on more specific and selective-based chemotherapeutic drugs. Meaning---> it targets a localized tissue, specific agents.

Its really simple you know.

Because cancers have protein mechanisms that disable the antigen-complex of the body; therefore it prevents the natural macrophagial-phagocytic system. Which is responsible for detecting cancer cells and destroying them vis-a-vis macrophragial phagocytosis and or epiloeidial attack.

So again, its a genetic problem.

However, there have been positive research going in prorduction of the re-activaiton of the antigen-complex via the inroduction of wild type alleles that are responsible for the production of that antigen-antibody complex.

Another research going on is the development of cancer-protein capsule inhibitors.
These new drugs will inhibit the cancer cell's 'cloaking' mechanism so to say. And therefore making it more precipitous to cellular degradation and lysis.

Its really awesome how medical research has made giant leaps just in the last decade.

The LORD spoke:

You flood the MY altar with tears. You weep and wail because he no longer pays attention to your offerings or accepts them with pleasure from your hands. 14 You ask, "Why?" It is because the LORD is acting as the witness between you and the wife of your youth, because you have broken faith with her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant.

15 Has not the LORD made them one? In flesh and spirit they are his. And why one? Because he was seeking godly offspring.  So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith with the wife of your youth.

16 "I hate divorce," says the LORD God of Israel, "and I hate a man's covering himself  with violence as well as with his garment," says the LORD Almighty.

So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith.

This resounds back to the preachings of John the Baptist. And by the ministry of Jesus Christ after the death of John.

When John the Baptist ministered in the Jorden, baptizing those who seeked repentance, there were those--the pharisees--who spread lies about him. Though the lies were untrue. That is an example of gossippers.

When Jesus Christ cured the leprotics, made the deaf hear, cured the lame, cured the possessed, raised the dead and all the miracles to profess the faith and message of God. Yet there sadistic people--unbelievers, pharisees, and gossipers who accused our Lord Jesus Christ. Some even said that Christ used belzeebub to remove demons. Yet Jesus Answered them and rebuked them:

Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered, so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat. When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.” And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said, “He is possessed by Beelzebub! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons.” So Jesus called them and spoke to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come. In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can rob his house. I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin.” He said this because they were saying, “He has an evil spirit.”
(Mark 3:20-30)
=====

Lesson of the Story: Beware of gossipers, and those that spread false rumors.
Beware and pray for those who are nice to you in your face, but then again, talk about you with words that are destructive and malicious behind your back.

Those kinds of individuals are not friends, nor should we associate with them.

Pray for them na lang.

19Do not entertain an accusation against an elder unless it is brought by two or three witnesses. 20Those who sin are to be rebuked publicly, so that the others may take warning.

There is no COMPLETE or ABSOLUTE treatment to cancer.

Because cancer is nothing but an abboration of the basic level of organization, which is in the gene, which is nothing but a segment, of the chromosome.

Simple. Ra ni.

Cancer is a result of a mutation; can be frameshift mutation, can be translocative mutation--> which leads to nonsense in genetic processes. Meaning the proper genetic codes that codes for protein derivatives (which is global in the organismal structure) has been altered and therefore perfunged.

Corrective means can only be limited, considering the problem is genetic based. It is a problem of the basis of the organism---in this case, the human organism.

The only TRUE viable anti-cancerous treatment is vis-a-vis bone marrow transplant is because it can reduce the biovailability of mutated defunct proteins by introducing virgin wilde type forms of the specific protein that has been mutated in that particular individual. Thus, we can observe a return to normal function (nominally, and resemblant). HOWEVER, the mutated proteins are still there--albeit in mitigative numbers---it is still there. It is there because of the mutation in that individual's chromosome, in that individual's genes.

==========

Cancer treatment [marrow transplant, chemotherapy, surgical debridement] and maybe taking herbalics would be okay [depends on the individual patient, again the patient even has the right to refuse medical treatment; his or her decision to do so]

But to completely withdraw medical treatment for herbalics is ill-advised.

Then again, the patient has the right to refuse medical treatment if he / she wishes.
Again, that falls under the patient's right to refuse medical treatment clause.

The physician has the right to offer his/her medical advice if asked by the patient, but has no right to forcibly give treatment to a mentally-sound patient {non-institutionalized}.

Yours,
Bran Lorenzo

Cancer is the abnormal production of mutated cells due to frameshift mutation in the chromosome, which has led to the abborative transcriptive, translative and elastative processes in protein sequence synthesis.

This therefore translates in the abborative production of signal mechanisms (which are nothing more than hormones; and hormones are nothing but protein derivatives).

These abborative signal mechanisms have lead to the loss of stop codons in Amino Acid production, and thus lead to continuation of cellular reproduction. To the level of 200 to 4000 tandem repeats.

This means, that cells that normally would die when sensescent, and or mantain cellular reproduction, have lost that homeostatic mechanism to maintain balance.

Cancer is a familial defect; can be genetic and somatic. So therefore, since the root of the problem is genetic, the problem is therefore multifactorial in inheritance.

:)

====

Cancer cannot be treated via a fruit. This fruit is ingested orally, meaning it will undergo first pass hepato-spleno metabolism. And will become ionized in that metabolic pathway.

To properly treat cancer, which is a genetic abboration in the most simplest and yet base of building blocks--the gene--it requires a corrective procedure.

Not through a PO -based ingestion.

To fully correct a carcinoma (bening of metastaticized) is through the use of bone grafts through bone marrow transplant; which will correct the genetic mutation by introduction of virgin wilde type alleles of the same protein function that has been mutated (congenital or genetic basis). Once  The virgin wildtype allele that has been implanted into the patient's bone marrow [in the spinal cord], it will reproduce via pluripotent stem cell reproduction and therefore produce normal-functioning non-defunct mRNA transcripts --> which will ultimately become proteins--> which, upon addition of proper nucleotide additives in the UTR (upstream translating region): will produce proper signal mechanisms.

This translates, into layman's language as : --> proper signal mechanism, meaning stop codons, regulatory pathway will be regenerated; because more proper functioning protein pathway will be available and reduce the numerical bioavailability of the mutated protein signal mechanisms.

====

To treat heavily metasticized patients especially those that are in advanced stages of prostatic, ovarian, gastroesophageal cancer etc--> we provide them with heavy Chemotherapy because chemotherapy bombards the entire tissue to destroy and annihilate the heavily metasticized cancer that have already desseminated throughout the organ systems.

==

For treatment of benign tumoric growth; proper procedure is surgical debridement.

===

I am heavily against propagating false rumors that are old. The trials afformentioned in this document were in 1970's. This is the 2009 epoch. Pharmaceutical companies have advanced since those days.

For patients who are suffering from cancer; it is unwise to abandon medical procedure for herbalics. Again, proper procedure and regimen needs to be maintained.

===

Please do note that cancer treatment has MADE GIANT LEAPS since the 1970s.
Mortality rate has been reduced substantially due to proper examinations for the prevention of cancer (regular check ups), and surgical debridement, and staying away from haphazardous materials that are carcinongenic: Cigarette smoking and other teratogens.

===

There is a reason why we have medical trials. A reason why we prevent the proliferation of quack-based drugs from medical trials that have undergone strenous and selective trials that roots out medical contraindicative drugs.

Bran Lorenzo

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

There are specific things that The Lord Our God Hates.

Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things the LORD HATES, seven that are DETESTABLE to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.

---

1. Haughty Eyes = Looking Down on Others if they are lower in economic, political, wealth status.

-Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.
Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.

2. A Lying Tongue: Liars.
-Revelation 21:8 ...and all liars â€" their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.
God hates lies.
-Psalms 5:5b-6a ...you hate all who do wrong. You destroy those who tell lies.

3. Hands That Shed Innocent Blood = MURDERERS
-Joel 3:19 But Egypt will be desolate, Edom a desert waste, because of violence done to the people of Judah, in whose land they shed innocent blood.

4. "A HEART that DEVISES WICKED SCHEMES"
= Two Faced Individuals; people who kiss you with sweet words, but curse you behind your back.
-Jeremiah 17:9-  The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

5) "Feet that are QUICK to rush INTO EVIL" â€"

•• Quote #4 above, about the heart’s tendency to wickedness, has already brought up evil.

•• The hated conduct here is the quickness to rush into evil.

Titus 2:6 Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled.

•• Self-control is the antidote to quick falls into temptation.

        • For example, (Proverbs 29:11) “A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.”

•• God hates a swiftness to rush into evil.

6) "A FALSE WITNESS who pours out LIES" â€"

•• “False witness” â€" violates one of the Ten Commandments.

        • God hates those who lie about other people.

        • God hates those who do harm and disservice to His system of justice.

        • I was once selected for jury duty in a trial in which the accused had allegedly been drinking alcohol. In the questioning of us potential jurors, integrity required that I had to speak up about my beliefs and preaching against alcohol. I was admittedly not impartial from the outset, and the judge rightly dismissed me from the jury selection.

•• God hates a false witness.

        • Notice that this is a person that God hates! I’ve heard Christians say that God hates no one. That sounds noble, but it is anti-Scriptural. Here it is clearly said that “...the Lord hates ... a false witness.”

        • See below for another type of person the Lord hates.

7) "A man who STIRS UP DISSENSION among BROTHERS" â€"

Titus 3:10 Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a second time. After that, have nothing to do with him.

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark 14:12-16.22-26.

On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, when they sacrificed the Passover lamb, his disciples said to him, "Where do you want us to go and prepare for you to eat the Passover?"
He sent two of his disciples and said to them, "Go into the city and a man will meet you, carrying a jar of water. Follow him.
Wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, 'The Teacher says, "Where is my guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?"'
Then he will show you a large upper room furnished and ready. Make the preparations for us there."
The disciples then went off, entered the city, and found it just as he had told them; and they prepared the Passover.
While they were eating, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them, and said, "Take it; this is my body."
Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they all drank from it.
He said to them, "This is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed for many.
Amen, I say to you, I shall not drink again the fruit of the vine until the day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God."
Then, after singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Accept Salvation And Be Saved

Ever had bad experiences? When things just don't go right. When your own understanding isn't enough, when things don't go according to plan? Stop for a moment.

Simple answer to your problem. Accept Jesus Christ into your heart. As your personal savior and Salvation. Accept Jesus as LORD. Accept and be saved. Declare in your heart that Jesus is The Christ. Accept His mercy for your--which is the gift of eternal salvation, which is life eternal in Christ.

Surrender to Jesus. And believe me, all will be revealed. Things will come into place; in your own understanding of things.

We're not here for ourselves, we're here for Jesus. Life for Jesus. Dedicate your works to Christ. And Our Lord will bless you. Keep you. And guide your paths.

Simple isn't it? Simple, yet so true. And so beautifully perfect.

If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

16   Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17    Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18    A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19    Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20    Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Matthew 7: 16-20

I absolutely agree with this post, Gener.

There is a biblical verse that I hold true and keep to my heart:

Better is open rebuke
Than love that is concealed.
Faithful are the wounds of a friend,
But deceitful are the kisses of an enemy.

Proverbs 27:5-6

AND

A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

We are all sinners. HOWEVER, I am confident that though I am a sinner, I am saved:

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his  righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Romans 3: 23-26

---

Yes, brothers and sisters I am a sinner. And so are you, so are we all. The more reason why we should pray for one another. For the remission of our sins.

And ye we may sin, as we are predestined to sin, as man is fallen, since the fall of Adam, we yet are saved through. By dying on the Cross, Jesus Christ destroyed our sins. Uplifted our sins and washed it away. Purged it. The ULTIMATE sacrificial lamb who was anointed and chosen of the Father. Who was Of The Father. Indivisible.
And by rising from the grave and ascending into Heaven, so too are we risen. Risen, in that we are no longer doomed to perdition and eternal damnation. So that we may recieve Jesus Christ--who is Salvation and the Only way and path to God The Father.

As Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."  --Matthew 14: 6-7

So yes, I boast of my sins, i boast of my iniquities, I boast of all my faults, and most of all I boast of my love of Christ. Yes I am a sinner, but I am saved by Christ.  ;D
----

And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
--2 Corinthians 12: 9

Loving Father God,

For all the graces you have bestowed upon me, and for encouraging me when i was unencouragable, for uplifting spirits when spirits were so low. What human hands and human words and human actions failed to accomplish, Your Spirit and Word of Truth accomplished unchallenged. Fortuitous. Like a rock, for my foot to stand on, like a rod that i can hold on to, like hand that can pick me up when i feel low.

Father God, when everything feels unbearable, and when things just don't seem to go as planned, you always, always, have a way of turning things for the better.

Thank you Father God, for doing what you did. For providing for everything, for the sustenance that you allow, for your Grace to fall upon me.

Father God, you are the best Father ever. You are always there for me, to dry my tears, to raise me up, you teach me, you breath life into me. Father God, you provide for me, you reprimand me, you are everything for me. Everything is through you.

Father, you are my Confidence. You are my strength. You are my all in all.

My heart shouts with Joy for you. My soul proclaims my love for you. Father!
My God you are Mighty To Save.
Forever, Author of Salvation.

Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of Our hearts. My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.

Jesus Is Mighty To Save

version sung by: Michael W. Smith

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-QKF_Vei5U&feature=related

Everyone needs compassion
Love that’s never failing
Let mercy fall on me
Everyone needs forgiveness
The kindness of a Saviour
The hope of nations

Saviour
He can move the mountains
For my God is mighty to save
He is mighty to save
Forever
Author of salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave

So take me as You find me
All my fears and failures
Fill my life again
I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in
Now I surrender

Shine Your light and
Let the whole world see
We’re singing
For the glory of the risen King
Jesus

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 10:7-13.

As you go, make this proclamation: 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'
Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, drive out demons. Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give.
Do not take gold or silver or copper for your belts;
no sack for the journey, or a second tunic, or sandals, or walking stick. The laborer deserves his keep.
Whatever town or village you enter, look for a worthy person in it, and stay there until you leave.
As you enter a house, wish it peace.
If the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it; if not, let your peace return to you.

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

Am brought to smiles with your warm salutation, Brod. Gener. It is by God's Grace that we are able to continue on and do what is expected of us, be it His Will.

Please post more of your wonderful writings here in Tubag Bohol, Brod. I have read many of your posts before--and tho i did not reply via posting, I did agree with your messages.

May our Lord Jesus Christ protect all of us.
And provide us our daily bread.

Yours In Christ,

hmmm, # 6 sounds interesting.
The 'letting them win' part. hahaha. Whenever i played a chess game or a game of risk with my x, i loved letting her win the first 20-30 minutes. oh yes, oh yes. lol!
i would sit quiet..with my little cup of tea and watch her glee in happiness as i sacrificed my rooks, my little pawns and see her smile.

And then, i rise, i rise from my little smiling game. and i start nibbling on her pawns. Then i release my favorite move, the Danish Gambit.

It always ends with a "oh no" hahaha. so cute. so very cute.

But then again, because my heart was touched by her little yelping, i would stop. and let her check me from time to time.

hehe.

check mate. ;)
