I will nail the coffin shut, in this debate/discussion.

Purgatory is indeed biblical. For anyone to even question is ludicrous. How can anyone question the Roman Catholic Church's teachings as being 'unbiblical' when it was the Holy Roman Catholic Church that compiled and wrote the Holy Bible, and it was the Holy Roman Catholic Church that finally decreed and solidified the Divinity of Christ in the Council of Niceae as well as in Trent.

It was always the Holy Roman Catholic Church that has forwarded Truth and corrected the Apostacies and the Lies and Misunderstandings of a perverse generation.

There were apostates in the times of the EARLY CHURCH FATHERS, as there are APOSTATES even now.

Those who claim that Purgatory is 'unbiblcal' is not fully well versed in the Holy Bible.

Read 2 Maccabees 12: 42-46;
"Turning to supplication, they prayed that the sinful deed might be fully blotted out. The noble Judas warned the soldiers to keep themselves free from sin, for they had seen with their own eyes what had happened because of the sin of those who had died. He then took up a collection among all his soldiers, amounting to two thousand silver drachmas, which he sent to Jerusalem to provide for an expiatory sacrifice. In doing this he acted in a very excellent and noble way, inasmuch as he had the resurrection of the dead in view; for if he were not expecting the fallen to rise again, it would have been useless and foolish to pray for them in death. But if he did this with a view to the splendid reward that awaits those who had gone to rest in godliness, it was a holy and pious thought. Thus he made atonement for the dead that they might be freed from this sin. "

(The book of Maccabees does not exist in the Protestant Bible; since the Protestant Bible is a simplified bible; it has removed some old testament books that are antagatory to their teachings. Note that the ORIGINAL BIBLE = THE CATHOLIC BIBLE.)

My message to Roman Catholics (practicing and those who are re-tracing their way to THE CHURCH):

Do not be so worried in the views and in the comments of apostacy.
Do not be decieved.
For there is Only One Church
One Church that is Anointed by the Most High God.
One Church that was Established and rooted in Peter The Rock.
One Church that has the Power to Bind And Loose.
What is lost in earth, will also be lost in Heaven.
What is bound in earth, will be bound in Heaven.
As was promised by Christ Jesus to Peter.
The First Pontifical Head of the Roman Catholic Church.

Faith: Believe and Do Good.
Even to those who curse you and I.
Bless them. Bless them and pray for them. :)

God Bless!

For those that are Catholic Christians and Non-Catholic Christians.

I will reiterate the Apostolic Message that has been supported by the Roman Catholic Eccleciasticum since time memorial. From Papacy to Papacy. From Bishopric to Bishopric.

We, we who are brethren in Christ, make up the Family In Christ. We are to pray for one another, for one another, and raise our prayers to Christ, who is head, the High Priest of our Family.

You see, this is the basis of Roman Catholic Ecclessicum, "The Communion of Saints."

This communion begins in baptism, and continues on, even unto death.
We pray for one another; for the living and the dead.

For it is written , "That the prayers of the saints rises like incense unto the Throne of the Eternal Living God."

So pray. Pray continuously. Pray Hard. Pray in short form, in long form.
Make your request to the Lord God.

For Christ told us, brothers and sisters in the Faith, "He who knocks, the door shall be uponed unto you; for he who asketh, shall be given; for he who seeketh, he shall find; for he who asketh, he shall be given."
Ask it of Jesus' Name, and it will be given.

Most important thing is that you take the 'take home message'

and not on selective verses that others provide.

:)

I invite everyone to Read Sacred Scripture.

And not just from the reiterations of select verses that others of us provide.

Ug mo open ang tawo sa iyang heart to the Holy Spirit, and in Loving And Surrendering yourself to Christ Jesus's Protection and Care, you are justified.

Justified ang faith, so you are blessed with faith. As we are told!
"You are city on a hill, a light unto the house. Let your Light shine before men so that they will see your good works and GLORIFY your FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN."

SO GLORIFY HIM!
BELIEVE! AND DO GOOD!

---

Don't be like the HYPOCRITES that just believe,
but whose actions are murder, lying, thief, adultery, conniving, cheating, destruction, causing tension amongst brothers, hate etc.

All the vices that are ABOMINABLE TO THE LORD GOD IN HEAVEN!

HYPOCRITES!

MAY THE LORD GOD REBUKE THEM!

REPENT!

"Show me your faith without works, and I will show you my works that justify my faith."

Message ni from James.

-----

Do you all want proof that good works and kindness amongst brethren justifies faith that saves?

I will show you!

Matthew 25: 31-46

31"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'

44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'

45"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'

46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

This is a good thread. :)

It is beautiful how the Catholic Faith has remained firm with its teachings these 2 thousand years.

The Protestant notion and defense is weak, imho.

Selective ilang variety.

Ang Catholic View, the TRUE VIEW, is to examine the Scriptural Words completely and in whole. And in Practice.

Legitimacy, in the end, falls into the Catholic View.

For who had the AUTHORITY to write and compile the Holy Bible.
The Roman Catholic Church, folks.

Always has. Always will. :)

Matthew 5:17-20,
:"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Correction to All!

We are commanded that we walk in good works that justify OUR FAITH!

Don't be HYPOCRITES!

That believe and use faith alone, but whose actions are THE VERY ANTITHESIS OF THE FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS!

CHRIST JESUS TELLS US THAT HE HAS NOT COME TO THE WORLD TO ABOLISH THE LAW OF THE PROPHETS, BUT TO COMPLETE THE LAW!!

SO IF YOU BREAK THE LAW, YOU ARE SUBJECT TO JUDGEMENT!

Matthew 5:16:
In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

To Ate Lee,

We must analyze the entire words of Ephesians Chapter 2. Not selective verses.
True, it is by Faith that we have been saved. However, one has to read the following verses to gain the Fuller picture regarding salvation and in regards to good works.

So I will provide verses 8-10 from Ephesians Chapter 2;

"8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."
----

Ephesians Chapter 2 verses 9-10 is Direct. None of us, should boast of salvation, as salvation is a GIFT, a gift that Christ has given to those who are open to recieve Salvation--in ACCEPTING HIM as LORD AND SAVIOR.

However It is directly clear that verse 10 indicates, "for we are HIS workmanshi, created in JESUS CHRIST unto good works, which GOD HAS ORDAINED that we should walk in them."

What does that verse say, Ate Lee?
Does it say for us to ignore good works and that salvation is secured in just faith?
Does this justify ANYONE to do bad, kill, break all the laws and commandments that the prophets gave to the people (by command of GOD), and use salvation as a ticket to do bad and evil? Of course not!

We are commanded to walk in Good works! We are commanded to follow Christ and to pick up the cross in our own lives!

On the contrary, for those who are biblical literalists, then I suggest you read verses from James.

Let me share and provide you with some that support that salvation is secured in FAITH AND GOOD WORKS!

:What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him?
15
If a brother or sister has nothing to wear and has no food for the day,
16
and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well," but you do not give them the necessities of the body, what good is it?
17
So also faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
18
Indeed someone might say, "You have faith and I have works." Demonstrate your faith to me without works, and I will demonstrate my faith to you from my works.
19
You believe that God is one. You do well. Even the demons believe that and tremble.
(James 2: 14-19)

to Complete the message I am sharing with all of you!

: "Do you want proof, you ignoramus, that faith without works is useless?
21
Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered his son Isaac upon the altar?
22
You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by the works.
23
Thus the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called "the friend of God."
24
See how a person is justified by works and not by faith alone."
(James 2: 20-24)

YOU ARE SAVED NOT JUST BY FAITH!
BUT BY FAITH AND GOOD WORKS!

AMEN!

:)

Thank you very much Ms. simplylee.  Had intended to read the Holy Bible but makalibog man. Just a personal question to you:  I am a baptized Christian and I believe God in my own way, am not successively attending masses but I solely devote prayers anytime and anywhere. And according to our belief....am a sinner coz I am a second marriage offender but am happy now than my first attempt.  Am in hell as what the others said.   Do you think...our good Lord will not acknowledge my personal persuasion? Abi baja naho ug sa Purgatorio ko ibutang?

No one is condemning anyone, Bambi. And your reiteration of you being a sinner, is a UNIVERSAL TRUTH. As we are all sinners, for none of us are perfect or righteous in the eyes of God. NONE!

Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God."

The matter of redemption and salvation exists between you and Your God. Our God.
If you believe in your Heart and Mind that Jesus Christ is LORD and that God The Father raised HIM on the 3rd day, you WILL BE saved!

Automatically if a person believes that Jesus IS LORD and believes 100% in the LORD and that THE LORD JESUS CHRIST SAVIOR ON HIGH died for our sins on the Cross of Redemption, that individual will be SAVED!

Ye they may be dead, but they will be raised on Judgment Day to be Judged according to their faith and their deeds of faith.

Purgatory, in my belief is a place for those who had some faith, but had a questioning faith. A doubting faith.

Don't doubt!

Just Believe! Accept that Christ died for your sin and satiated the sacrifice as Heaven's Perfect Lamb. Accept HIM into your hearts and put your trust IN HIM.

And You will be Saved!

For it is written, "None can come to the Father but Through Me."

Christ is the LIFE, WAY AND THE RESURRECTION!

NO WAY, NO OTHER WAY OR NAME OR PERSON IN THIS WORLD will guarantee salvation, BUT JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD!

In Christ and CHRIST ALONE.
He who has AUTHORITY EVERLASTING.
He who is ALPHA AND OMEGA.

You are welcome, Mr. Daray, just sharing some basic information regarding human hormonal physiology.

To which we all belong to, either we choose to believe in it or not. Choose to recognize it or not. Science, which is authored by God, is definately constant in its mechanisms.

Mao na when women get moody' its quite accurate to say "her hormones are acting", because in all fairness, it really is her hormones that are in overdrive.

JESUS!

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

Bible Study / What Is Your Confirmation Name?
August 12, 2009, 06:26:34 PM
For those who are Roman Catholic Christians, and were baptized into the Faith, and then confirmed into the Roman Catholic Church, what is your Confirmation name?

Mine is: Gabriel.

Named after the Archangel Gabriel, one of 7 who stands before the Throne of the Almighty Father.

Why I chose Gabriel?
Because Angel Gabriel was the messenger to David, Gabriel was there to remind Abraham that he would bear a son, who would be named Isaac.

Gabriel is also the HERALD of the Anunciation! He was the Archangel that brought the glad tidings to The Virgin Mary that she was Blessed and chosen by God to bear His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ Our Lord, The Word Made Flesh.

Personally, Archangel Gabriel reminds me strength, Strength and Power In The Lord.
In all of Gabriel's provisions in the Bible, his Greatest Message is: "For There Is No Impossibility With God!"

I love that message. There is No Impossibility With God.
For If God is With Us,
who can be against us?

None. Christ OUR LORD is Authority Everlasting.

Glorify HIM!

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, Who Art On High, I GLORIFY Your NAME, LORD.
I GLORIFY YOUR NAME, LORD.
Your NAME and ONLY YOUR NAME, LORD JESUS!
Savior, My Savior!
GLORIFY YOUR NAME!
ETERNAL GLORY AND PRAISE BE TO YOUR NAME!
JESUS! AMEN!

The crow's ability to pick up objects is an evolutionary character; the crow, which is a migratory omnivore, has a rather well-developed sternocleidomastoid muscle to help in the lowering of its head to pick up detritus or rotting material for feeding. Avian species, as a raptor-species, are intelligent sentient beings. These birds have a well developed memory cortex that reminds them of annual mating migratory patterns.

Therefore, the ability to pick up stones and place it in a jar, which pales in comparison to their ability to track and trace migratory patterns, will be easy.

Aesop's fables boasts in good 'take home messages'.

A reiteration of the brilliance within nature, to which, mankind is a puzzle piece. :)

In regards to scientific explanation of hormones and animal behaviour, it is always important to have a well-rounded idea/ comprehension.

Ignorance in these matters is dangerous; as it leads to superstitious notions to spread. Or wives tales to spread, which have no basis or bearing whatsoever.

Speaking of wivestale and superstitious notions of individuals; that it itself is a hormonal if not psychotic manifestation.

We know that excessive dopaminergic activity in the brain leads to psychosis, hallucinations, and and hyperactive imagination.

Overstimulation of the hypothalamus and the right and left frontal cerebral cortex results in --> imaginations. And in uneducated illiterate societies where misunderstanding of the logical is prevalent --> ambivalence is pragmatic.

In this day of age, in this modern epoch, we all must have a balanced understanding; a healthy understanding of the scientific lest we fall into the morose of the ignorance of superstition. A remnant of an uneducated society, defunct of understanding.

Sir Daray as long as no complication bleeding, cramp. amniotic fluid leakage pwede ang husband mo intercourse sa very pregnant wife nga hapit na manganak. In fact it's very beneficial for the ripening pf the cervix. Sexual intercourse is commonly recommended for promoting labor initiation. Sexual relations usually involve stimulation of the breasts and nipples, which can promote the release of oxytocin. With penetration, the lower uterine segment is stimulated. This stimulation results in a local release of prostaglandins. Female orgasms have been shown to include uterine contractions, and human semen contains prostaglandins, which are responsible for cervical ripening

Its not only physiologically healthy for a pregnant woman, but also for the marriage; marriage psychological stats does indicate that affairs outside of marriage has rather prevalent during intra-uterine growth and during the pregnancy; particularly in marriages where the woman is not inclined to sexual relations during pregnancy.

You're right, Raquel, about the contractions, sexual intercourse does stimulate the cervical contractile process, particulary the time prior to partition.

Sexual intercourse is also a vasodilatory phenomenon. It dilates the umbilical veins and umbilical artery, leading to increased blood flow into the fetal circulation, and preparing it for partition.

Yes, it is healthy. Excellent explanation Raquel. :) hehe

This is a reasonable amount, considering it involves the Symbol of State. Pardon my defense of Her Excellency The President, but there are leaders of governments that spend double if not triple that amount in just leisure activities.

Being the President does come with its ups and downs.

When dealing with politics and business, food, is always the level ground. There are businessmen that spend triple that amount just to secure a financial transaction.

Quote from: Macky Ferniz on August 10, 2009, 08:07:26 PM
Nagkalain-lain ang mga paagi of salvation sa mga major religions.

Christian : Believe that Jesus died on the cross for our salvation and to follow his deeds & teachings.

Muslim: Believe in one God which is the God of Abraham & practice the 5 pillars. Murag pareha ni sila sa Christians, ang naka deperensya si Jesus is only a prophet and not the Son of God.

Jews: Believe in the Prophets of God like Abraham, Moses, David...etc. Pero dili ni sila motoo ni Jesus.

Hindu : Live ethically with all creatures so you will stop reincarnating when you die and live in Peace with the universe.

Budhist: Murag mao ra ni sa Hinduism kay si Lord Budha is hindu nga milayas paingon sa China.

So for me as Christian, wala koy katungod nga mo judge sa uban nga religion nga sayop sila. Likewise, wala pod silay katungod nga mo ingon nga sayop ang akong religion.

In my opinion, all religions have a glimpse of The Truth.
Its rather interesting to read about different religions and get a glimpse of what salvation means in their religion, and the process of getting to it.

Personally for me, as a minor in Religious Studies back in undergraduate years, I put great emphasis in studying the JCI faiths (Judeo-Christianity-Islam). The three faiths are ideally the same, albeit having one clear difference in salvation history.

The Jews believe in a physical messiah, a king that was promised to them, similar to that of David, who would rule over Jerusalem over the mount of Zion. They still, to this day, wait for the coming of the Messiah.

The Muslims believe in all of the Abrahamic-based prophets. The only main difference is that whereas in Judeo-Christianity, Abraham offered his son Isaac as sacrifice to show his faith in God. Whereas in Islam, the prophet Ibrahim (arabic version of Abraham) offered his son Ishmail. In Judeo-Christianity, that is not possible, since Ishmael (ishmai) was the son of Abraham and the maid-servant of his wife Sarah. Ishamael and his mother Rahab were sent away after the birth of Isaac, who was promised by the Angel of God. The major difference is that the Muslims believe that Jesus (Issa) was not the Son of God, but a prophet, and that Muhammad was a prophet of God.

Christians, believe everything that the Jews believe; OLD TESTAMENT is reiteration of the Talmudic Text. The only difference is that we believe that Christ Jesus was the Seal of the Prophets. Salvation On High. We believe that Jesus Christ is the WORD MADE FLESH. God In The Flesh. Essential to our faith is the believe in Jesus Christ being DIVINE. Inseparable and in one with the Father. Through Him and the Father, proceeds the Holy Spirit. And that there is no other name in Heaven to which we shall be saved BUT in JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.

your salvation has nothing to do with your religion...its your personal relationship with God instead...thanks

It is in faith in CHRIST JESUS.
Recognize that The Lord is your personal savior,
if you believe that he was sent from Heaven to die on the cross as the perfect lamb,
and believe that he was raised from the dead on the 3rd day,
you WILL be saved.

Even thought and feelings of guilt, anger, mercy, mercy, etc are hormonal driven.

There is a science to thought and feelings. Its called: Neurology, neuranatomy, neurophysiology.

--

How are feelings, thoughts, generated?

When the nuclei of the amygdala is stimulted, such raw feelings such as fear, anxiety, and rare satisfaction occurs.

The stimulation of the septum (pallucidum) results, as a general rule, in euphoria, delight, sexual arousal, and general improvement of effect-->positive effect.

WHen the frontal and posteiror sections of the hypothalamus is stimulated, there is observable: anxiety,  anger.

When the structures of the midbrain and stimulated, there is a cohort of feelings generated ranging from: anger, sexual arousal, lucidity, guilt, compassion, etc.

Then when you stimulated the frontal cerebral cortex--this leads to stimulation of thought, creativity, --and when this forms a complex with the midbrain, medula, and amygdalic nuclei---leads to the formation of : Intellectual thought, feelings of guilt, angery, compassion, understanding.

Result: the creation and animation of character, and a glimpse to the soul.

Any alteration and deviation form normal function will result in: Neurological pathology.
As a result; flat effect, or if serious --> mental derangement.

All because of hormonal signals. Everything is hormonal.
#36546
Everything is hormone driven.

The neurochemical messages that drives your neurocortical cortex and to your medulla, to send afferent-efferent messages to your appendanges to move your arms and to move your phalanges to type a message.

Hormones (which are protein derived chemical signals) are what drives everything.

Thought, language, actions, it is driven by hormones.

So, in all due accord, the human race, is, indeed, driven by hormonal signals.

To which, without it, the human body, will not function.

Lord, Thou Great Physician, I kneel before Thee.

Since every good and perfect gift must come from Thee:

I Pray Give skill to my hand, clear vision to my mind, kindness and sympathy to my heart.

Give me singleness of purpose, strength to lift at least a part of the burden of my suffering fellow men, and a true realization of the rare privilege that is mine. Take from my heart all guile and worldliness, that with the simple faith of a child I may rely on Thee.

Long Form

Almighty God, Thou has created the human body with infinite wisdom. Ten thousand times ten thousand organs hast Thou combined in it that act unceasingly and harmoniously to preserve the whole in all its beauty the body which is the envelope of the immortal soul. They are ever acting in perfect order, agreement and accord.

Yet, when the frailty of matter or the unbridling of passions deranges this order or interrupts this accord, then forces clash and the body crumbles into the primal dust from which it came. Thou sendest to man diseases as beneficent messengers to foretell approaching danger and to urge him to avert it.

Thou has blest Thine earth, Thy rivers and Thy mountains with healing substances; they enable Thy creatures to alleviate their sufferings and to heal their illnesses. Thou hast endowed man with the wisdom to relieve the suffering of his brother, to recognize his disorders, to extract the healing substances, to discover their powers and to prepare and to apply them to suit every ill. In Thine Eternal Providence Thou hast chosen me to watch over the life and health of Thy creatures. I am now about to apply myself to the duties of my profession.

Support me, Almighty God, in these great labors that they may benefit mankind, for without Thy help not even the least thing will succeed.

Inspire me with love for my art and for Thy creatures. Do not allow thirst for profit, ambition for renown and admiration, to interfere with my profession, for these are the enemies of truth and of love for mankind and they can lead astray in the great task of attending to the welfare of Thy creatures. Preserve the strength of my body and of my soul that they ever be ready to cheerfully help and support rich and poor, good and bad, enemy as well as friend. In the sufferer let me see only the human being. Illumine my mind that it recognize what presents itself and that it may comprehend what is absent or hidden. Let it not fail to see what is visible, but do not permit it to arrogate to itself the power to see what cannot be seen, for delicate and indefinite are the bounds of the great art of caring for the lives and health of Thy creatures. Let me never be absent-minded. May no strange thoughts divert my attention at the bedside of the sick, or disturb my mind in its silent labors, for great and sacred are the thoughtful deliberations required to preserve the lives and health of Thy creatures.

Grant that my patients have confidence in me and my art and follow my directions and my counsel. Remove from their midst all charlatans and the whole host of officious relatives and know-all nurses, cruel people who arrogantly frustrate the wisest purposes of our art and often lead Thy creatures to their death.

Should those who are wiser than I wish to improve and instruct me, let my soul gratefully follow their guidance; for vast is the extent of our art. Should conceited fools, however, censure me, then let love for my profession steel me against them, so that I remain steadfast without regard for age, for reputation, or for honor, because surrender would bring to Thy creatures sickness and death.

Imbue my soul with gentleness and calmness when older colleagues, proud of their age, wish to displace me or to scorn me or disdainfully to teach me. May even this be of advantage to me, for they know many things of which I am ignorant, but let not their arrogance give me pain. For they are old and old age is not master of the passions. I also hope to attain old age upon this earth, before Thee, Almighty God!

Let me be contented in everything except in the great science of my profession. Never allow the thought to arise in me that I have attained to sufficient knowledge, but vouchsafe to me the strength, the leisure and the ambition ever to extend my knowledge. For art is great, but the mind of man is ever expanding.

Almighty God! Thou hast chosen me in Thy mercy to watch over the life and death of Thy creatures. I now apply myself to my profession. Support me in this great task so that it may benefit mankind, for without Thy help not even the least thing will succeed.

In Jesus Christ's Name.
To Whom I bow Before.
Amen.

For alternative cures to depression, theres alot of possibilities.

---

some write, some write poems, read books, exercise, go fishing,
many turn to God and faith (the best method, IMHO),
and some turn to destructive methods:
drinking, smoking, sex, gambling, etc.

I always asked colleagues why patients that are depressive drink.
Since drinking alcohol only exacerbates depression.

There are three treatments for depression.

1. Psychological counseling; psychiatric monitoring

2. Chemical Therapy

3. ECT (electric shock therapy)

---

I am a firm believer in psychiatric counseling and chemical therapy if depression is severe.

I have colleagues that are part of the M.D/Ph.D program that I am part of, and they are focusing their research on cancer suppression and cancer research. Interesting thing, the pyramidal continuum of cancer and neoplastic growth etc.

I'm in the Medical/ Epidemiology pathway--so my interest is more so in Medicine and causes, basis of disease etc etc.

One colleague of mine, an M.D/Ph.D candidate, is researching Neoplastic Growth and conversion of pre-neoplasm to beningnancy to Metastasis. On keratocacrinoma.

One thing that she said, which sparked my interest, was that cancer is the 'immortalization' of cells. In the basis of all things, that is what cancer really is. It is when a cell looses its 'normal' function and will not die. It has lost its 'apoptotic' capability, its 'limitation'.

For those that do not know what apoptosis is, it is the pre-programmed inclination within all cells to kill itself--a suicidal signal--for all cells to make after they become senescent (old); when their functions as a cell (specialized or generalized) have been lost. So it kills itself via de-granulation and DNAse or protease activation--resulting in the death of the cell.

Cancer cells, have mutated the gene that codes for apoptosis. Meaning: They have inhibited the 'death' gene. Amazing really. Cancer cells have inhibited the inhibitor, in layman's terms.

So it cannot die. It outlives, it outgrows, and it draws resources from other cells and powers its march to cellular divinity. Immortalization of the cell. It destroys the function of the entire organism--until the organism, perishes, as a result of the cancer cells' immortality. Because the body was designed to maintain homeostasis--a balance of order. Cancer is the antithesis of hemeostasis--since it illustrates growth that is unhindered, unchecked. Uncontrolled.

It signifies to us, physician-scientists, that life has an order of things. Even cells have order---if you break that order---the entire society to which that particular cell is part of, will perish.

The same applies for humans and macrocytes (larger beings). :)

In meaning of this, what I'm trying to point out and get across is that we--though our accomplishments may be great, can never be immortal. or god-like. it is impossible. We are designed to be finite. We are born, we live, procreate, and in the end, we will perish.

You see--just as the cell is born (via mitosis and meosis), it functions and lives and does its duty, it then will perish after the time allotted for it comes to pass. But tho the cell is small and even unseen to the untrained eye---it is part of a GREATER force. It is part of a tissue, which is then part of an organ, which is then part of an organ system, which is then part of an oraganism, which is then part of a society, which is then part of a population, which is then part of the Living. Which is, in ITSELF, part and a created aspect of the ETERNAL LIVING GOD.

God is the DRIVING FORCE.

His presence is seen even in the cell.

In the diseases we cure, and study. He is there.

He is author, creator, and Designer of all MEDICINE.

And All Things.

:)

For there can be no immortality but GOD. And in GOD alone.

As much as we, as a species, can doe god-like powers and events, such as fly to the heavens, harnest the atom, re-mold stem cells, find anti-virals, cure diseases, even raise the dead back to life (through genetic cloning methods), in the end---we are and always will be as what you coined, "earth bound."

At the time, i may have thought i was in love. But now in hindsight view, i know that it was not love. But merely an emphatuation.

All roads lead to one a direction, and at this time of my life, studies is in the priority list #1. Tho, I do sing optimism that I'll find my Mrs. while walking to that direction.

Ang Buyog

After the queen bee and the male drone mate, the male drone's genitals explode and snap off inside the queen! Ang naputol kuno nga penis ang function niya to plug the queen bee's genital to prevent other drones from fertilizing the queen.

The Praying Mantis

In one species of the praying mantis, Mantis religiosa, the male ejaculates as soon as its head is cut off by the female during mating. The female then eats up the body of the male.

Tarsier

Luoy pud. Tsk, tsk.

As my professor of Clinical Neuroanatomy used to say, "everything is hormonal".

It is. Human sexual, mating practices, are hormonal based.

The complementary relationship between estrogen, estradiol, progestin, pher-pathways, and testosterone anabolics and catabolics.

Its pre-programmed. A driving force in human procreation and reproduction.

As much as we, as a species, have evolved in mastering language, proficiency in writing, and improved communication, even as much as proliferating discourse in existential crisis, mastery in the heavens (flying to space, landing on the moon, harnesting the power of the atom, mathematical and physical equations)---under the veneer of sophistication---in the end, human actions--and mating rituals remains a constant force.

So, in lieu with the statement made by Dr. Cooper, my neuroanatomy professor, "Everything is hormonal-based."

Baptism is a three-tiered aspect within the Holy Roman Catholic Church, brothers and sisters.

As children we are baptized and are saved from ORIGINAL SIN. The Holy spirit comes down and is instilled within the soul of the Child.

And at the age of 12, after attending Divine Instruction into the Sacramental Oaths and the Adoration of the BLESSED EUCHARIST, we are given Holy Communion with Christ.
To recieve HIS most precious body and blood.

And later in life, at age 14 or older or when you are ready to receive CHRIST again, one recieves HIM in Confirmation.

To confirm your belief. To confirm your faith. To confirm your rejection of the devil and your ACCEPTANCE of the HOLY SPIRIT who proceeds from the FATHER and THE SON.

Amen. Brothers and Sisters.

May the Peace and Love of Our Lord Jesus Christ,
The Author of Salvation,
always be with us, to CONFIRM us and JUSTIIFY us.

Baptism is Indeed Biblical and has been an essential aspect in Christian Theology and Profession of Faith. It is essential into the Catechism of Catholica Doctrina Apostolicum.
From which, would come forth many Christian churches.

The Holy Roman Catholic Church resounds its authority to Scriptural and Church Doctrinal Authority. It has remained so since AD 33.

Instructions given to the apostles:

Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

Q: Who made the statement in Mark 16:16?

Q: Who will be saved?

Q: Does salvation come before or after baptism?

Matt. 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Q: How are disciples made?

Examples of conversion:

Acts 2:36 “Let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” 37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” 38 Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. . . . 40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” 41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.

Q: How is the people's belief described in verse 37?

Q: What were those believers told to do “for the remission of sins”?

Q: When Peter exhorted them to “be saved” (verse 40), what did they do (verse 41)?

Acts 8:35 Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. 36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?” 37 Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” 38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him.

The remission of all sin, original and actual

This is clearly contained in the Bible. Thus we read (Acts 2:38): "Be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins; and you shall receive the Holy Ghost. For the promise is to you and to your children and to all that are far off, whomsoever the Lord our God shall call." We read also in the twenty-second chapter of the Acts of the Apostles (verse 16):

Be baptized, and wash away thy sins." St. Paul in the fifth chapter of his Epistle to the Ephesians beautifully represents the whole Church as being baptized and purified (5:25 sq.): "Christ loved the Church, and delivered Himself up for it: that he might sanctify it, cleansing it by the washing of water in the word of life: that he might present it to Himself a glorious Church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

The prophecy of Ezekiel (36:25) has also been understood of baptism: "I will pour upon you clean water, and you shall be cleansed from all your filthiness (inquinamentis), where the prophet is unquestionably speaking of moral defilements.

This is also the solemn teaching of the Church. In the profession of faith prescribed by Pope Innocent III for the Waldensians in 1210, we read: We believe that all sins are remitted in baptism, both original sin and those sins which have been voluntarily committed." The Council of Trent (Sess. V., can. v) anathematizes whomsoever denies that the grace of Christ which is conferred in baptism does not remit the guilt of original sin; or asserts that everything which can truly and properly be called sin is not thereby taken away.

The same is taught by the Fathers. St. Justin Martyr (First Apology 66) declares that in baptism we are created anew, that is, consequently, free from all stain of sin. St. Ambrose (On the Mysteries 3) says of baptism: "This is the water in which the flesh is submerged that all carnal sin may be washed away. Every transgression is there buried." Tertullian (On Baptism 7) writes: "Baptism is a carnal act in as much as we are submerged in the water; but the effect is spiritual, for we are freed from our sins." The words of Origen (In Gen., xiii) are classic: "If you transgress, you write unto yourself the handwriting [chirographum] of sin. But, behold, when you have once approached to the cross of Christ and to the grace of baptism, your handwriting is affixed to the cross and blotted out in the font of baptism." It is needless to multiply testimonies from the early ages of the Church. It is a point on which the Fathers are unanimous, and telling quotations might also be made from St. Cyprian, Clement of Alexandria, St. Hilary, St. Cyril of Jerusalem, St. Basil, St. Gregory Nazianzen, and others.

Bible Study / Re: Discussion On Baptisim
August 09, 2009, 11:37:36 PM
That Christ instituted the Sacrament of Baptism is unquestionable. Rationalists, like Harnack (Dogmengeschichte, I, 68), dispute it, only by arbitrarily ruling out the texts which prove it. Christ not only commands His Disciples (Matthew 28:19) to baptize and gives them the form to be used, but He also declares explicitly the absolute necessity of baptism (John 3): "Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he can not enter into the Kingdom of God." Moreover, from the general doctrine of the Church on the sacraments, we know that the efficacy attached to them is derivable only from the institution of the Redeemer.

When, however, we come to the question as to when precisely Christ instituted baptism, we find that ecclesiastical writers are not agreed. The Scriptures themselves are silent upon the subject. Various occasions have been pointed out as the probable time of institution, as when Christ was Himself baptized in the Jordan, when He declared the necessity of the rebirth to Nicodemus, when He sent His Apostles and Disciples to preach and baptize.

The first opinion was quite a favorite with many of the Fathers and Schoolmen, and they are fond of referring to the sanctification of the baptismal water by contact with the flesh of the God-man. Others, as St. Jerome and St. Maximus, appear to assume that Christ baptized John on this occasion and thus instituted the sacrament. There is nothing, however, in the Gospels to indicate that Christ baptized the Precursor at the time of His own baptism. As to the opinion that it was in the colloquy with Nicodemus that the sacrament was instituted, it is not surprising that it has found few adherents. Christ's words indeed declare the necessity of such an institution, but no more. It seems also very unlikely that Christ would have instituted the sacrament in a secret conference with one who was not to be a herald of its institution.

The more probable opinion seems to be that baptism, as a sacrament, had its origin when Christ commissioned His Apostles to baptize, as narrated in John 3 and 4. There is nothing directly in the text as to the institution, but as the Disciples acted evidently under the instruction of Christ, He must have taught them at the very outset the matter and form of the sacrament which they were to dispense. It is true that St. John Chrysostom (Homily 28 on the Gospel of John), Theophylactus (in cap. iii, Joan.), and Tertullian (On Baptism, Chapter 2) declare that the baptism given by the Disciples of Christ as narrated in these chapters of St. John was a baptism of water only and not of the Holy Ghost; but their reason is that the Holy Ghost was not given until after the Resurrection. As theologians have pointed out, this is a confusion between the visible and the invisible manifestation of the Holy Spirit. The authority of St. Leo (Epistle 16) is also invoked for the same opinion, inasmuch as he seems to hold that Christ instituted the sacrament when, after His rising from the dead, He gave the command (Matthew 28): "Go and teach . . . baptizing"; but St. Leo's words can easily be explained otherwise, and in another part of the same epistle he refers to the sanction of regeneration given by Christ when the water of baptism flowed from His side on the Cross; consequently, before the Resurrection. All authorities agree that Matthew 28, contains the solemn promulgation of this sacrament, and St. Leo does not seem to intend more than this. We need not delay on the arguments of those who declare baptism to have been necessarily established after Christ's death, because the efficacy of the sacraments is derived from His Passion. This would prove also that the Holy Eucharist was not instituted before His death, which is untenable. As to the frequent statement of the Fathers that the sacraments flowed from the side of Christ upon the Cross, it is enough to say that beyond the symbolism found therein, their words can be explained as referring to the death of Christ, as the meritorious cause or perfection of the sacraments, but not necessarily as their time of institution.

All things considered, we can safely state, therefore, that Christ most probably instituted baptism before His Passion. For in the first place, as is evident from John 3 and 4, Christ certainly conferred baptism, at least by the hands of His Disciples, before His Passion. That this was an essentially different rite from John the Precursor's baptism seems plain, because the baptism of Christ is always preferred to that of John, and the latter himself states the reason: "I baptize with water . . . [Christ] baptizeth with the Holy Ghost" (John 1). In the baptism given by the Disciples as narrated in these chapters we seem to have all the requisites of a sacrament of the New Law:

the external rite,
the institution of Christ, for they baptized by His command and mission, and
the conferring of grace, for they bestowed the Holy Ghost (John 1).
In the second place, the Apostles received other sacraments from Christ, before His Passion, as the Holy Eucharist at the Last Supper, and Holy orders (Council of Trent, Sess. XXVI, c. i). Now as baptism has always been held as the door of the Church and the necessary condition for the reception of any other sacrament, it follows that the Apostles must have received Christian baptism before the Last Supper. This argument is used by St. Augustine (Epistle 44) and certainly seems valid. To suppose that the first pastors of the Church received the other sacraments by dispensation, before they had received baptism, is an opinion with no foundation in Scripture or Tradition and devoid of verisimilitude. The Scriptures nowhere state that Christ Himself conferred baptism, but an ancient tradition (Nicephorus, Hist. eccl, II, iii; Clement of Alexandria, Stromata, Book III) declares that He baptized the Apostle Peter only, and that the latter baptized Andrew, James, and John, and they the other Apostles.

Bible Study / Discussion On Baptism

Is Baptism, The Sacrament of Baptism, Biblical?

Answer: YOU GOT IT!

The word baptize is from the Greek word baptizo, and the word baptism is from the Greek word batisma or baptismos. Together they are found 100 times in the New Testament. Thayer's Lexicon lists three primary meanings of the word baptize:

to dip repeatedly, to immerge, submerge
to cleanse by dipping or submerging, to wash, to make clean with water
metaphorically, to overwhelm

15 Times Figuratively

Of those 100 times, 14 are found in the four Gospel accounts of the one time Jesus uses the word figuratively to refer to the overwhelming sufferings of His life. Matthew's account (20:22) tells of Jesus asking His disciples, "Are you able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?" One other time the word is used figuratively in 1 Corinthians 10:2 in reference to Moses and the Israelites. There it says: "And all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea."

The NT Teaching on Baptism

There are numerous places in the New Testament that refer to baptism. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commanded His disciples to go and baptize all nations. In Mark 16:16, Jesus said, "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; he that believeth not shall be damned." In Acts 2:38, as already mentioned, after the people asked what they needed to do, Peter said, "Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Verse 41 says "those who received his word were baptized" and there were about 3000 then added to the church. In Acts 22:16, Ananias told Saul, "Arise, and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord."

The Bible teaches that salvation is only through Christ, the Son of God (John 14:6; 1 John 5:11-13). It also teaches that we put Christ on through baptism. In Galations 3:27, Paul says, "All of you who were baptized into Christ have put on Christ." Paul reminds Christians in Romans 6:3-4 that "all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death." He says that just as Christ died, was buried, and was raised again, so also we "through baptism [are raised to] walk in newness of life." Notice Paul does not say that baptism is symbolic of salvation; it is not our re-enactment of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. It is, in fact, God's re-enacting such in us as He gives to us at that point a brand new of life in Jesus! (See also Colossians 2:12-13.)

1 Corinthians 12:13 teaches the same thing: "By one Spirit we were all baptized into one body." Just as Paul said to the Romans, it is at the point of baptism that we come into the body, or church of Christ. 1 Peter 3:20-21 says, "In [the ark] a few, that is, eight persons, were saved by water. And corresponding to that (the like figure), baptism now saves you-not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience-through the resurrection of Jesus Christ."

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will one day walk on water?
Did you know
That your baby boy will save our sons and daughters?
Did you know
That your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that youve delivered
Will soon deliver you

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?
Did you know
That your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand?
Did you know
That your baby boy has walked where angels trod?
And when you kiss your little boy
Youve kissed the face of god

Mary, did you know?
The blind will see
The deaf will hear
And the dead will live again
The lame will leap
The dumb will speak
The praises of the lamb

Mary, did you know
That your baby boy is lord of all creation?
Did you know
That your baby boy will one day rules the nations?
Did you know
That your baby boy is heavens perfect lamb?
This sleeping child youre holding

Dear Ivy,

Hi lady, if you read this letter, please know that i in no mean to offend you but to unleash my feelings for you. Ivy, do you know how sad i was to hear that you were getting married?
Mor or less it was painful for me to attend your wedding 2 summers ago. Since we were children, I had always had a crush on you.

So it ended like a love story that never happened. Only dreams of what could have been.

I always wanted to court you, but never had the time.

So here I am, expressing this out now. 2 years after the fact.

Please forgive me if what I say hurts. I just had to release it.
I will always be a friend. Am happy for you.

Please know that I want to find a wife that has your qualities.

Your husband must cherish you.

Love, always,

I was angry and was softened
I was disappointed but was rectified
I was sad but am now lifted in spirits.

I have forgiven.
I have moved on.

I was reminded on Christ's Love today in Saturday Mass.

"Forgive so that you, too, may be forgiven."

Provide 3-5 strengths that you have as a person. And how has it benefitted you through your struggles in life.

Cheers~

And I provided the answer to your query.
Vice is not a stimulant in depression.
Vice is a discription of a sin, actions that are immoral.

The only treatment or 'stimulation' for depressive states is proper hormonal treatment.

Some drink alcohol when they're depressed. But alcohol is already, in itself, as a chemical derivative of ethanol, a depressant. Its sole mechanism of action is to depress the CNS.

So that can't 'stimulate' anything when depressed; since its chemical action is to depress.

Depressing an already depressed CNS is the very anithesis of treatment. That is what we term in  medicine as 'self destructive action'.

Simple ra man ni. Depression is a condition that can be easily remedied.
#36579
Dili ta ka compare ug herbalics or homeopathic to chemical therapy in some instances.

Working out helps in some instances, pero some individuals who are clinically depressed, they have a neurological condition. Some are chronically depressed because of a depressed serotonin pathway, or a dopamine pathway. Even exercise cannot remedy these instances. That is why supplementary medication is used; chemical therapy is basically human hormones that are created and taken via- oral or parenteral form to supplement that particular hormonal deficiency.

----

I can give you an example of a severe psychotic disease: Schizophrenia.
This is due to excessive dopamine activity in the brain--leading to hallucinations, paranoia, catatonic states, marked depression etc.

Exercise cannot solve this. Nor can herbalics. Since the mechanism of action of the disease is due to the derangement of COMT-inhibitors and MAO-Inhibitors.
This is critical because we know that excessive dopaminergic activity causes psychosis/psychotic states. So, therefore, if we have a depression/inhibition of the inhibitor pathway (the ANTI-COMTS, and ANTI-MAOS are inhibitors)---this leads to the exacerbation of the depressive phenomena. Right?

OF COURSE!

So, we treat this by taking anti-dopinamergic drugs whose main goal is to metabolize the excess dopamine within the CNS. This requires pharmacological science since very few endogenous enzymes cross the CNS barrier--so doctors and pharmacologists design drugs than can cross teh BBB(blood brain barrier) and are lipid soluble and inhibit the and degrade the excessive dopamine within the brain that is responsible for the psychotic symptoms.

The problems in depressio is that its not only just a hormonal deficiency.
Sometimes its a deranged hormonal machine, or a deficiency of an inhibitory pathway.
In that case, medical intervention is the Only cure.

My view lang; ngano mo flirt man ang laki sa gawas sa marriage?
Bahala pood ug guapa or batan-on ang baji nga mo flirt flirt nimo back.

Ma enticed man ko to know naa koy asawa sa balay nga mo wait para nako, mo comfort nako, mo experiment pood nako--mo experiment pood mi duha, maka share pood ko sa ahong confidential information nija, ug sija mo confide nako. To wake up in the arms of a woman everyday, and look into her eyes and know that she will always be there for me so long as I live---satisfied jud ko ana. Beyond satisfaction. Contentedness na.

Plus, mo hatag pa jud ang asawa ug anak para nako. Mo bear pa jud sija the pains of labor to give birth to MY sons and daughters.

Dili ba maka FALL IN LOVE ang laki ana?

Sus! A wife---is the MOST PRECIOUS GEM any man could have.

So if a single woman comes to you and tries to get involved, just simply say 'fukkk off' :)
Your ring should remind you that you are already taken.
Body and Soul.

so this topic what it's all about. is this flirting may also benefit one's marriage? that's the context of why it hardly works if one has not enough maturity for such and married.

In marriage counseling, they actually recommend husbands and wives flirt with each other; enticing one another, and try new sexual methods with each other.

As petty as it is, marriage can deteriorate due to a defunct sex life. Husband and wives should provide for each other. For body and soul. All bases are to be covered.

#36582
Glacier,
If I may infer, the act of flirting is nothing but a social act. Attraction, however, can result if unchecked. Many affairs begin with the innocent act of 'flirting', unfortunately.

The problem and key in this scenario, is :Self Control.

To control the urge in making the flirtation more than what it is.

When one does so--it signifies a weak chink in the marriage. To look for affection outside of the marriage. It should be a sign to implement marriage counseling. Instead, some individuals go ahead in adulterous relationships, to the detriment of the marriage and affected children. Mao na an example of selfish lusts.

Ug married na ang individual, you are to control yourself na because you are married na gud. :)
Ug di ka maka control, then don't get married--knowing in yourself that you cannot uphold what is required by marriage. That you--body and soul belong to your wife. Or the wife--body and soul belongs to the husband. The two are one. Two flesh made into one.

Kining flirt-flirt, okay ra ni ug single ang tawo. Kai flirting is part of a mating ritual.

But a married man or woman flirting with anothe woman or man is not only nonsensical but nefariously selfish. This is how affairs begin. This is the beginning of the destruction of a marriage, and the deterioration of the lives of children involved.

Selfish. Sick.
#36583
Vistabel,

Depression is a psychotic state due to the imbalance of serotonin, and dopamine levels in the brain, particularly in the neurohumoral cortex producing regions.
This is due to the inhibitory and derangement of the levodopa pahtway either due to a mutation of the COMT inhibitor or the MAO (monoamine oxidase) pathway.

Depression can be easily fixed not by stimulation, but by selective serotonine receptor inhibitors (SSRIs) or Selective serotonin-norepinephrine receptor inhibitors (SNRIs).

Or if the condition of depression is part of a bipolar state (manic depressant), we can easily treat the condition by giving the patient with Haloperidol (Haldol) or Lithium salts.

Again, depression is a psychotic state, if left unreated---can develop into manic depression (bi-polar disorder; happy one moment and then severely depressed the next) and consequences to the patient suffering from it. These people have self-destructive tendencies--suicide is a common consequence if they're left alone and or untreated for prolonged periods of time.

Its a neurological disease.
A condition that is hormonal-based.

Chemical therapy is the best treatment.
Not 'vices'.

That kind of mentality is nostalgic of an uneducated society; common in uneducated/ illiterate regions of the world.

#36584
There is nothing harmless in flirting.
But one must be ready for the unexpected.

There was one girl who I flirted with back in undergrad, and she mistook my flirting with her in lab as some kind of courting etiquette.

One way led to the other, footsies with footsies.
I followed her lead, to cut to the chase.

Again, flirting is harmless, only until it gets a hold of you.
Thats usually the problem. Control. Like anything else in life.

I smell something here, so please allow me to ask your validation of this observation:

Have you ever noticed that when you and your partner are mutually sexually aroused (mind you, I 'm talking of legitimate partnership), the smell of your partner's breath changes into something that enhances that arousal? Just asking a clinical question.

Tito Benne,

Interesting point of reflection. In the relationships that I have had, I must incline to the fact that what riled me was the tantalizing acts prior to sexual intercourse. The act in itself was nice, let it be known that it is human nature to taste, however--the scent of the woman's breath (my partner at the time) elicited paramount sexual urge on my part.  Albeit the fact that the interest was initiated by her body language and sound of voice, there is actually a physiology of women's mating voice--it applies to humans. When a woman's tone of voice deepens and puts greater emphasis on body language.

Men (heterosexual men), can be subconsciously aware of a woman's physiological urges by the hormonoal exchanges. Women emit and produce a large amount of estrogen and progesterone as well as phermonic levels as a result and response to a high level of male testosterone. Its a complementary pathway, you see.

A woman in heat is a response to physiological reaction. That woman's body was enticed by a machisomo male; who produces an untold high amount of testosterone. The same as a man can be elicited to produce high testosterone levels to an ovulating woman which will produce high hormonal signals of pheromones and progestin levels.

All of this is subconscious. We do not know this occurs because it is a pre-programmed intuition within the human anatomophysiology. Its a signatory pathway to entice mating and finding a mate and producing the annual offspring.

The human neurological system is composed of 2 systems: 1) peripheral nervous system and 2) central nervous system.

And within that subset is the a) Sympathetic nervous system and 2) parasympathetic nervous system.

The most crucial pathway in mating rituals is: The parasympathetic nervous system. Otherwise known as "Rest and Digest pathway". It controls Gastrointestinal vasodilation and secretory production of glandular products/byproducts. To which belongs the pyrimidal continuum of sexual hormones, digestive enzymes, etc.

Anatomically and Physiologically speaking,
The man was designed and created to supplement and complement the woman.
The same as how the woman was designed to complement the man.

The depth and size of a woman's cervix, vagina, was designed to elope and complement the male sexual gonads (the penis). Just as how it is pre-programmed within the male to be sexually aroused by a woman's anterior thoracic cutaneous form (her breasts) and the beauty of her posterior sacrosacral eminence (her lubut) ;)
It is pre-programmed. The intuition to mate and procreate.

Its a mammalian instict that humans have retained, despite our rise into the echelon of existentialism and scientific evolution. We nonetheless have retained and will continue to retain our anatomical design.

Hope that helps.
Cheers.

The Lord God's Anger towards satan:

Ezekiel 28:13  Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.  14  Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.  15  Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.  16  By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.  17  Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.  18  Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.  19  All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

Satan's 'I Will' speech before he was pummelled from Heaven:

Isaiah 14:12  How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!  13  For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:  14  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
#36592
lucifer is known as the father of lies. there was never any truth with him.
In his jealousy and in his contempt, he swore his 'I shalls' a dream to be like the Most High.

Despite his power and majesty and his rank among the angels, while merely thinking about surmounting the Most High Lord God, he was pummelled into the abyss of the world.

Forgiveness and reconciliation would not be granted to him and his followers.
Why? he was given the beautific vision of the Most High GOD.

But out of his own free will and in his jealousy, chose his own glorification instead of prstrating himself to the MIGHT AND GLORY OF THE LORD GOD.

he was cast into the fires of the netherworld. As eternal punishment for betraying GOD.

It is a reminder for all of us; to watch and guard your mouthes and your tongues.

For out of all the parts of the body that can destroy and harm--it is the Tongue.

This is what I have always told my friends and my loved ones;
friends are there for each other through thick or thin.
REAL friends are the ones you can trust your inner secrets and never fear that they would spread it and use it as a tool for gossip.

Then there are others who appear like that and use your secrets as fodder--not knowing the consequences of that action.

There are 2 things to be observed and noted in that predicament:
1. TRUST
2. CONSEQUENCE

---
If your friend TRUSTED you to keep a secret --since you are his or her confidant, you are to trust uphold that TRUST. Since you are a friend. But if you break that TRUST, and repudiate everything your relationship stands for--then--you are not a real friend.

Sorry. But I do not consider those people as friends. What kind of friend would ALLOW that to happen.

I will NOT stand idly by and act plastic and act like this has not affected me. Because THIS HAS! GOD IS MY WITNESS. GOD KNOWS how much I have cried and lamented over this incident. And I am confident in my decision. Christ Preserves me. Justifies me.

Dili na friend. Chismosso/Chismossa ra nang tawhana. I pray for them lang.

---

Now on to the subject of: CONSEQUENCE

First and foremost. There is ALWAYS a consequence for every single action. Do not be fooled and deceived by the devil who makes you think that you can 'get away' with an action, a lie, a fib, a chismiss, a slander here and there.

Believe me, For so long as THE LORD GOD sits on the THRONE OF HEAVEN, you will reap what you sow. Good or Bad. And the LORD GOD is the avenger, HE will REPAY.

Galatians 6:7-8: "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."

---

My message to those who are hurt, who are aching, who are sad, whose hearts are in discord. Oh Have Faith!

Put your head on the WORD OF GOD, who loves you despite the iniquities you and I have. Who is ready to comfort you even after the harsh and sharp words and condemnation of others have had for you.

Sometimes, we are humbled by GOD to correct an error, to teach a lesson.
And its main goal is to bring you CLOSER to HIM.

There are bumps and thorns in this path of life. This pilgrimage of Life.
May your way be shown with light by the WORD OF GOD.
Who Justifies you all--even when others talk and surround us with their lies and malcontent.

GLORIFY THE LORD GOD!
Sing His Praise!
For HIS NAME IS SALVATION ON HIGH!

Glory, Honor, Praise Be to the Eternal Living God. Jesus Christ.

Married men are also human beings. Maybe it is nice for a married man to get some on the side to make his life more stimulated from the ordinary.

A married man looked pampered less macho and cared for not some arrogant pomp looking for a one night stand from night to night some married men do not have that many excuses to be out getting their thang wet by many different women during all nights of the week how single studs hanging out in the local meat market have that freedom.

So there fore making them less of a health risk....lol!

I have been known to spoil a few married men in my days!

Why lie we are all human and sometimes it was because a man lies about his status as well.

Better to masturbate to relieve stress than to cheat on your wife or husband.

That is my stance.

Sex is sex. The feeling: the orgasm lasts a while~ 30-50 minute feeling of ecstacy, but the consequences of that action is lifetime.

The STDs that can be acquired, the families destroyed, the spouses crushed, the children torn apart.

Like I said. Every action has an opposite and equal reaction.

Does one risk everything? for a gamble --for a taste of temptation?

satan offers alot. His promises looks delicious, and seems amazing--but the consequences outweighs the short-term gains.
