Brothers and Sisters,

Let us all Glorify The Lord's Most Blessed Name in putting FULL TRUST in HIM.
Above all things, God is First.

Bless The Lord,
And He Shall Bless You, endlessly!

---

Isaiah 40:10

See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power, and his arm rules for him. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.

Personally, I am grieved to see how much our brothers and sisters have lost so much faith, and a significant decrease in Trust in God.

In all things, we should always put Trust in God.

For He has the power to save, and to appropriate All Things, by His Divine Will.

:)

The Lord is First. Everything is Secondary. That has always been my stand in life. And I pray, by Grace of the Holy Spirit who proceeds from the Father and the Son, that I will always uphold these truths so long as I live the life that He has given me.

I Glorify His Name through my Lips.

The first task in this "commission" consists of preaching good news. In Greek the word is euangelizo, "bring or announce good news."[5] The word is formed from two words, eu, "well ... to be well off, fare well, prosper,"[6] and angelos, "a messenger, envoy, one who is sent,"[7] from which we derive our English word "angel." In the Old Testament Septuagint (Greek translation of the Old Testament), this word is used in announcing God's kindness (Psalm 40:9) and Messianic blessings of salvation (Isaiah 40:9; 52:7; 60:6; and 61:1, etc.).

The recipients of this good news pronouncement are the poor. Are these literal poor people with few pennies in their pockets? Or is Jesus referring figuratively to "the poor in spirit," the humble in contrast to the proud (Matthew 5:3)? I think Jesus refers to both. By and large his message was received eagerly by the poor. The rich and powerful were threatened by it. "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God' " (Luke 18:24-25). [Let's wait to interpret "eye of a needle" until we get to this passage. Okay?] The rich had much more difficulty with Jesus' message than the poor. To the poor Jesus message offered security -- they had little to lose. The rich had carefully placed their money around them to provide a sense of security, and Jesus' message challenged their values to the core. True, some rich people became believers (Zacchaeus, Joseph of Arimathea, Mary Magdalene, etc.), but most were the common folk.

hehehe, God Bless!

Good point, Manay.

We can better ponder the deeper meaning of Christ's message by reading a very popular verse from Luke:

Luke 4:14-19

[14] Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. [15] He taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him.

[16] He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read. [17] The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:

[18] "The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to release the oppressed,
[19] to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."

---

Preach to the poor, speak to the poor, and help the poor.
In whatever way we can.
That is Jesus' Message.

By spreading the good news, we help in working out our own salvation.

Every action warrants a reaction. One bears the responsibility of each action, the negatives and positives.

It is part of the individual's character to carry the load of each action, and the maturity to keep one's head and chin up in brevity and in self decency.

The woman who I find so attractive is one who is my equal, her drive is akin to that of mine. She is so strong willed, and independent, and yet so beautifully emotional within the veneer of professional aptitude. She appreciates my writings, my poems, my letters, and am so cherished and grateful to LORD GOD ON HIGH for chancing me to have met her this term. Brutally honest, she is. Intellectually stimulating, and so motivated.

She inspires me!

The One Who Makes Me Smile

Have you ever had the feeling of complete ecstasy in visual stimulation?
I enter class by 10 am, the doors of systemic pathology opens, with my suit case, I tred inside.
The conundrums of intellectual discourse resound: etiology of disease, prognosis, treatment, prognosis
The reverberant powers of medical wisdom permeate the entire room.
My mind is set forward, in total elliptical focus of the material of the day, however~

However, my dear lady, the vision of your smile, never fails to impinge in this man’s mind.
The delicate flower,
The colorful leaf,
The straight branch of the sycamore tree
The lone spiral,
The illustration of satisfied reverie.

And at the sound of break, 5 minutes till 11, I pardon myself to a simple water break.
A sip of water,
The hydration of the internal dynamic, the physical effervescence,
And there you are:
You come out of Human Anatomy Lecture,
With your purple medical scrubs, clogs on foot, and a smile on thy face.

And this intrepid, ambitious, driven man that is my own persona is uplifted in ethereal smile.
You call out, “Hi Al!”

The serious demeanor that I carry fades away,
Like the snow in an late winter’s morn melts at the soothing sun’s rays.
And in joyous satisfaction, my dear lady, I smile and reply,
“Hi Stacy.”

We converse for a while, and sometimes that ‘while’ becomes minutes,
Then those minutes turn to hours, and long and behold it is time to return to class.
You to yours, and to mine.
We clasp hands, do our shake, your hand is tight and firm, yet warm and delicate.

With a new burst of inspiration for the new day, your smile retains its impingement within the soul of this man.
And provides the fuel for continued work, and to see you, yet, again.

Smile.

Your Al

Dear Stacy,
First off, I want you to know how much I am smiling as I write this poem-letter.
To which you shall see, in the not-too-distant future, be it the Will of Most Divine Providence.
Today I was awakened by Albert’s phone call involving you.
I was so worried to find out that you fell off your bike this morning and ended up spraining your ankle.
My walk to school, after that call, ended up a sprint to school. Sigh.
I was so worried about you today, you know, and when I arrived to campus, drenched in man sweat, as a result of a 2 mile walk-jog, I found out that your fellow classmates took you to the hospital to assess the situation.
I was uneasy knowing that you were in the hospital, but felt so much better after break , being able to see you again and knowing that it wasn’t too serious.
With my arm around your waiste to help you walk, the feeling of your warmth around my arms, your body within fingertips of my hand. I did not want to let you go, your hand grip around me.
The walk up stairs to your apartment, our bodies clinging to each other, as I assisted you up.
Darling, I realize that my feelings for you have blossomed. You may have already noticed that I am very affectionate to you, in fact, it is quite obvious, since my own classmates and batchmates have noticed my changed demeanor whenever you are around.
Darling, you make me smile. As I write this, I am in your apartment, sitting in your living room couch, and you in your dining table reading and reviewing for your Embryology Class. I, just taking a break from Systemic Pathology. I can smell the ocean-mint scented candles, the sandwitch you made for me, directly in front of my laptop. Darling, you’re just too sweet.

Titus 2:2-8
Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.

The kiddos started their school year this week. Its been hard, being so far away from them and family.
Then it has come to me that there are times when life will place us in distant states, schools, to complete a goal. But there will always be thing we will miss out on. Either it be a graduation, a friend's birthday or even the 'back to school' event of siblings.

I miss you two. So very much.

I wish I was there, but am so happy in the fact that Ate Angel posted these pictures to me, and it brought me smiles  to see how big you two have gotten in just 4 months!

Don Rico, you are becoming more and more like a grown man each passing day. I like your choice of facial hair, he he he!

Andre, keep on getting those straight A's. I am so very proud of you two!

Blessed be Your name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name

Blessed be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed be Your name

Every blessing You pour out I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in Lord
Still I will say

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's "all as it should be"
Blessed be Your name

Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name

You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name

O God, hear my prayer;

R. The Lord upholds my life.
For the haughty men have risen up against me,

The wicked say:
Let us beset the just one, because he is obnoxious to us;
he sets himself against our doings,
reproaches us for transgressions of the law
and charges us with violations of our training.
Let us see whether his words be true;
let us find out what will happen to him.
For if the just one be the son of God, God will defend him
and deliver him from the hand of his foes.
With revilement and torture let us put the just one to the test
that we may have proof of his gentleness
and try his patience.
Let us condemn him to a shameful death;
for according to his own words, God will take care of him.

Quote from: Way Nada on September 20, 2009, 07:53:36 AM

Lorenzo,

The talks of a surging economy by the Obama administration is a part of a socialistic dream coming from his handlers who are communist inspired. It is impossible for America to progress when the American capitalists are sidelined by the Socialist idea of Obama.

This 15 Trillion dollar economy you are talking about is realized because of Capitalism in America and it will go up in smoke if America will change its system into Socialism. Why? Because in a Socialist country it is a system of big government. It is a system of big spending where the government will spend for unemployment, free health care, free pension and doleouts. Where does the money of the government come from? Of course from the 15T dollar economy created by capitalism. When this money will dry up Obama will tax the people. The rich Americans will just escape a regime of high taxation.

Obama is a liar! He pretended during the election that he is a Democrat but the truth is... he is a Socialist and a Communist. The Stimulus plan which is to protect unemployment... did it work? The answer is no... instead unemployment rose to 9.7% which is the highest since the Carter administration. Who wrote this stimulus plan? The answer is; the Apollo Alliance. This is a group of communist inspired people whose plan is to create green jobs and is acting the role of a shadow government in the Obama administration. Did it succeed in creating jobs? The answer is no... instead they created more unemployment. For example; they closed the flow of water going to San Fernando Valley in California drying the farmlands that supply food for the American people. The purpose of closing the flow of water is to protect a small fish [looks like bulinaw] that thrives from the lake where the supply of water to the farms come from.

WN

Great analysis, Way Nada, as always.

Though I do share concerns of the left-leaning administration, the administration, despite being left-wing, will acquiesce to bi-partisan compromise. In order for any bill to pass, per se this current Health Care Reform Bill, will need to be supported by the Republican, as well as Democrat lawmakers. Namely, it must pass the House and pass in the Senate.

It will be reformed to suite the interests of the Republican GOP; in order to have a 2/3rds majority.

Good points, thanks for bringing it up. ;D

In defense of Obama's behalf,

The United States experienced a devastating recession, one in which the country hasn't experienced since the early 20th century. The policies implemented were effective in rejuvinating and saving the struggling manufacturing arm, as well as led to the bouncing of the United States economy from a crippling recession.

Dow Jones, S&P500 as well as Nasdaq, these past few days, have experienced growth trends, a reprieve from the negative spiral trend of the last few months.

Obama delivered on his behalf to steer us through this wanton recession. i give him that.

I may disagree with some of his policies, but am happy to see these growth trends. He may be liberal democrat, but I admire his ability to cooperate and to work with the Republican GOP. Very bipartisan of him.

In other readings, I found Rajah Sikatuna's lineage as follows:

The following are some details about the King Luisong Clan:

Rajah Lapulapu - the older brother of Rajah Soliman; he led in Cebu and took the area of Mactan Island.

Cousins of Rajah Soliman and Rajah Lapulapu:
•   Sultan Kiram Sinsuat
•   Sultan Hadji Kiram Misuari
•   Sulu Sulatan Muhammad Badar Un-din

The grandsons of King Luisong :
•   Rajah Sikatuna - ruler of Bohol.
•   Rajah Gat Mauban - the trhird eldest grandson, took eastern part of Quezon, Sampaloc & Lucban.
•   Rajah Enginda - covered the area of Bohol.
•   Rajah Kolambo - ruler of Limasawa.
•   Rajah Lacandula - took over Tondo.
•   Rajah Humabon - the eight grandson, ruler of Limasawa.

MAHARLIKA. Long before the Spaniards came to Philippines shores, the Philippine archipelago consisting of 7,169 islands with an area of 1,049,212,962 nautical square miles, including Guam and Hawaii was known as Maharlika. It was populated by Malays and ruled by the Tagean Tallano clans from the ninth to the fifteenth century. When the Spaniards started ruling the Philippines archipelago, they renamed it Hacienda Filipina.Of the many kingdoms in Asia, Maharlika was one of them under King Luisong Tagean Tallano, the father of Raja Lapu-Lapu and Raja Soliman, the successors of King Marikudo of the Sri Vishayan Empire. Its principal products at that time were peanuts (mani) exported to Mexico and European countries and Herbal plants known as "Nilad" with some medicinal qualities which were exported to Mainland China. With the passage of time, the Chinese traders changed the name Maharlika to Maynilad or Maynila.

This is interesting to read.

If I may ask, Mr. Ferniz, can you provide me the link to this article as I would like to read the entire paper, if not the name of the book/journal so one may research this.

Thanks.

Obama's Health Care Reform Bill, imho, will not come to pass unless he compromises with the Republican GOP.

I'm a supporter of affordable health care for all US Citizens, but am against a socialized health care system.

Way Nada,

That is the dirty truth of politics, and in this nation, the current situation of the ground  indicates that Obama's policies are indeed quite socialist. His 'czars' are quite liberal left in orientation.

But tho his policies are far left, the inernal dynamics of Washington Politics will mandate that his policies will be compromised and will change to suite the interests of the Republican GOP if he expects his bills to be passed.

Indicator o fpolitics is: COmpromise and rule.

Lets look into the following:

1. The Taft Commission
2. Jones Act
3. Tydings-McDuffie Act

A secondary point of interest would be our future discussion into the points of view of the American pro-inclusion pact and the American Anti-Imperialist League.

Sige, let us discuss.

Responses should be related to the subject matter.
Personal remarks will be removed.

No nation is free of issues, Glacier. Even the United States cannot escape some mistakes.

The topic of the matter is the discussion of provisions of the United States and membership of the Philippines.
I will facilitate further deeper discussion the subject matter by redirecting the flow of discussion back to the subject matter.

Let us examine the laws passed in the early 20th century that offered the pathway into national inclusion / or the pathway for independence.

Lets get back to the subject. :)

Hehehe, the history of opium production can be linked to the early 19th century when the British Empire used to rule over British India, and parts of Afghanistan was included in that vassalage.

Mind you, the British Opium War with China in 1839-1842, the British East Indian Company introduced Opium into the tea they were selling the Chinese, as a way to create an addicted Chinese consumer base, one of the reasons that drained the Chinese Qing Dynasty's silver supplies, and ultimately led to the eruption of the Sino-Anglo Opium Wars.

Britain had made Afghanistan and the fertile plains of present day Baluchistan (present-day Pakistan) as a source of Opium polly production.

Tha agrarian form has continued in existance to the present epoch.

History. We learn alot.

The Lord Jesus Christ tells us that He is the only way to salvation, and He specifically tells us, and promises us that through HIM, we will be empowered with the gift of the Holy Spirit. You see, my dear brothers and sisteres in Christ, the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also.  From now on you do know him and have seen him.”
--John 14:6-8

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper,  to be with you forever, 17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

In the end, my friend, you and I and many freedom-loving Americans, Canadians, Filipinos, pro-western societies can express our points of view without being tried, executed. There is no such thing in China. China reserves the right to turn of the internet and public domain sites; and continues to imprison liberal pro-western intellectuals.

China and Russia continue to be in top list of nations in Human Rights Violations.

And btw, just to infer, it was the united States and the allied countries that tried the actions of Germans (Nazi) after the second world war, even after the former Nazi Party tried to destroy facts, intel on their death camps and the liquidation of over 20 million people (Jews, Slavs, Gays/Homosexuals, Gypsies)

The same for Imperial Japan. It was the Allied Judicial Board, namely headed by the United States, that tried and dispensed justice to Japanese citizens that were responsible for the ethnic genocides in Korea and Nanking, China, and on the military officials.

Liberty. and Democracy. America was so critical to its preservation when those who threatened it were unchallenged.

Many Canadians and American boys died honorably for the defense of those precious rights.

Dear Glacier,

We leave these responsibilities for government to make decisions on behalf of the people, as we elected them, expecting them to make the right decisions for the best interest of the constituents whom raised them to the pedestal of elected public official.

No government will be free of flaw, inherently, we are human, and even the 'working' governmental forms are deficient in some ways.

Nonetheless, the United States' transparency in Guantanamo and response to public opinion in closing the prisons and to inspect and try those involved is testament to the stability and purpose driven form of government that is set in place.

No other nation in the European Union, The Russian Federation, and definiately not countries like the PCR, India or The Islamic Republic of Iran would even dream of doing such a thing.

the US is only tough for a country with nothing but subservient government. with countries as tough as Russia and China, and even Iran, what it could do is to soften its stance through diplomacy and compromise. now, with its wobbling economy, i wonder, if the US can have any better idea to exert its power as you might believe they've envisioned, to form an alliance in this region. countries Venezuela won't put any step forward into the circle. an awakening is born, revealing the picture that you don't have to be part of America to get America. a growing subtle force is beginning to emerge to challenge the American Spirit. that's why many are scared if Obama's policy will see its light for it will make the US never the same force, which it should not have been, long ago. i realize i am one those who think this country is the best country; now i see, i have to pay my  ignorance.

The United States Government is  Constitutional Democracy.
Our elected officials are but the extension of the People.

Our officials, senators, congressmen, governors, Presidents, and all elected public officials are nothing but American Citizens, chosen from amongst the people; by the People; to be the Voice of the People.

It is in the best interest of the United States Government to comply and to represent the best interests of the people and the constituents; else the elected officials that were elected on behalf of the people will be replaced, accordingly.

Its the beauty of American Politics. It relegates our revolutionary spirit. It guarantees that no power or family stays in power for too long. The spirit of revolutionary democracy still exists in these great United States.

---

It is moot to compare the United States to China or Russia. The latter two are authoritarian in form; Russia was once an autocratic Soviet Socialist state that collapsed utterly in the late 1980s and early 1990s; and China is a authoritarian capitalist state that holds on to a communist style of government. A living and breathing hypocrisy. Since the core tenents of Lenininst Communism and Mao Zhedong's vision of the 'Great Society' completely and utterly abhorred capitalists and capitalism as the root of social class mobilization and the creation of the Oligarchic Echelon. China, at the moment, is a voracious capitalist state, that has abandoned the very core ideals and footing of its existence as a nation.

No comparison. The latter two have horrendous human rights violations. The former, is the leading power of the developed world. We even closed Guantananmo and publicized our military interrogation files to the world community.

Has China and Russia and other 'enlightened' authoritarian powers dared to do something like that?
Nay, my friend, nay. And they shall never.

It is too 'American' for them.

This is not for all Lorenzo. If you are Filipino born in Philippines then you give up your filipino citizenship for american citizenship  you can't be dual. You got to give up one or else you lose your u.s citizenship but if you are filipino born in america you can apply for dual citizenship.

Ate Raquel,

You are accurate in that Filipinos who become American Citizens have the option of forgoing their Philippine Citizenship upon their acquisition of the American Citizenship after the Oath Taking Ceremonies, but there are venues for re-acquisition of Philippine Citizenship.

Citizenship Retention and Re-Acquisition Act of 2003 (Republic Act No. 9225), in particular, was implemented by the Republic of the Philippines to allow Filipino-Americans (foreign born or natural born Americans) to acquire Philippine Citizenship.

Dual citizenship of both nations is recognized by both parties; namely: The United States of America and the Republic of the Philippines.

You are right, Raquel, and I stand corrected. In order to apply for dual citizenship, if a Filipino-American is born in the US, one has to apply for Philippine Citizenship via the Philippine Consulates in New York or the one in California or directly to the Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C.

The option is there.

Brod Lorenzo, please enlightened me for I am confused, though I am a Catholic and I do believed Jesus.  I am not a Bible reader but trying to follow his commandments (not perfectly).  I do praying directly to him and seldom to attend masses in church.  I guess since birth, I can count on my fingers for the time I confessing my sins to priests.
Now, that I am working in the Middle East for almost 10 years, then, how much more time that I cannot attend masses in church except when I gone for vacation.  Normally, I went only to Blessed Sacrament Chapel in Cathedral where I like most because of the silent surrounding and peaceful environment while praying, praising, thanksgiving and confessing.
In here, I have Muslim friends and most of them are Mutawa (Imam). They convinced me to convert into Islam but most of the time my replies is that, religion is not the answer for salvation instead it is how you follow the commandments of God and what you did while still living in this world, either within your personal daily activities or towards other person whom you are dealing with.
Please correct me and what else I will do and answer to those who are still convincing me to Islam by not offending them.  I will never exchange my God (Jesus) to another God.

My friend, I had friends who tried to convert me to Islam in college. I was open enough to read the Q'uran and discuss with them, and I asked my friend if he would be willing to read the bible as well; in exchange that I would read the Quran. We did that.

He had many questions for me, regarding the Holy Bible, for there are many things that the 'Quran leaves out.

Suffice to say, my friend, Khalid, converted to Christianity before his term ended in '2007. He was the Arab T.A for Introduction To Arabic. He was from Jordan, and he and i read the bible together, verse per verse, and was very touched how he was overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit.

He was touched by the HOLY SPIRIT, and glorified in the Name of Jesus Christ LORD.
It was in Spring 2007 that he became Christian.
He tried to convert me to Islam, but in the end, he , by the GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, and the HOLY SPIRIT WHO PROCEEDS FORM THE FATHER AND THE SON, Khalid received SALVATION.

BROTHER! THERE IS NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN TO WHICH WE WILL BE SAVED, BUT JESUS CHRIST LORD.

AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!

God Bless You!
God Bless Your Faith!
Hold ON To Your Salvation!
No matter how hard the devils try to convince you otherwise.

:)

YOURS IN CHRIST,
Lorenzo

Good Afternoon And Peace and Blessings of The Lord Jesus Christ be with you, brother!
I pray and beg the Lord Jesus Christ to strenthen your faith in Him, and to never forget His salvation that He has offered to you!

Thank you for sharing your story and your personal anectdote, friend. And I am touched by your plea. Fr. R is correct, you must and you have to be strong in your faith, for faith is tested, and it is then when your faith is preserved in you, you shall mount in Salvation, to which Your Lord Your God Jesus Christ has preserved for you.

My friend, I want to reiterate lang the tenents of Christian Faith.

You are Christian if you believe in mind and soul and in vocal reiteration---that The Lord Jesus Christ is the Eternal Word Made Flesh. Do you believe that Christ Jesus was sent down from Heaven for the satisfaction of Sins and that He was crucified and was burried. Do you believe that He was raised in GLORIOUS RESURRECTION on the 3rd day by HIS FATHER IN HEAVEN?
And do you believe that your sins are wiped away by His death on the cross? And that do you BELIEVE IN HIM, AND HIM ALONE? Do you accept in your heart the Lord Jesus Christ as your LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOR?
All you have to do, brother is say yes, and glorify in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. Now. You will be saved.

My brother, there is no name under heaven that you will be saved besides that of Jesus Christ LORD.

ACTS 4:8-12,
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: "Rulers and elders of the people! 9If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a cripple and are asked how he was healed, 10then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. 11He is
" 'the stone you builders rejected,
which has become the capstone. 12Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

---

There is no other name that you will be saved, but In Jesus Christ, who is LORD!
It is explicit, my friend, that there is no other man, nor any other deity but in THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Allah, or muhammad is not mentioned in the bible. Nor shall they save you. These teachings by Muhammad is false prophetry.

The HOLY BIBLE mentions these false heresies. And to beware of false prophets.
There can be no other prophet after Jesus Christ. For Jesus Christ is the LORD GOD MADE FLESH.
He is the seal of the prophets. Any other man who claims to be a prophet after Christ is the anti-christ.
My friend, Islam declares that Christ Jesus was not GOD, but say that he was 'issa' and was a prophet.
They deny Christ as the SAVIOR LORD.

Jesus Christ said," Those who Deny me before men, so shall I deny them before MY FATHER IN HEAVEN."
Matthew 10:33, "But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven."

Remember that, brother.

Additionally brother, The Apostles, explicitly warn us, the body of Christ, to beware of false prophets.
Here are following verses in the HOLY BIBLE that reiterates this same warning. Beware of False Prophets.

----

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. (16) You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? (17) Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. (18) A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. (19) Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. (20) Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
Matthew 7:15-20

But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. (2) And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. (3) By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.
2 Peter 2:1-3,

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (2) By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, (3) and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
1 John 4:1-3,

-----------------

John 5:23 - that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

John 8:24 - “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I AM He, you will die in your sins.”

John 8:58 - Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

John 10:30-33 - Jesus answered them, “I and My Father are one.” Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?” The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.”

John 14:6-7 - Jesus said to him, “I AM the way, the truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

The Monroe Doctrine was essential in the preservation of Independence for Latin American countries, which declared their independence from Spain during the Peninsular Wars. Coincidentally, the British Empire enforced the doctrine as a measure to preserve the status quo and the maintenance of British Naval Sea Power.

In doing so, the United States enforced Manifest Destiny and the policy would influence the strategic interests / national security concerns of the United States in regards to Latin-South America.

The 1960's Cuban-Missile Crisis was the 20th century's maintenance of the Monroe Doctrine.

The 1982 Falkland War was an extension of Monroe Doctrine, in the preservation of status quo, namely the protection of British territorial rights from the Argentine invasion, the latter falling to British military power, with American strategic initiative, of course.

North, Central, South American belong to the greater sphere of American Hegemony.

I'm a Republican, but even tho Obama is not a Democrat, he is still my president. And I honor the office of President.
I do admit that the Bush Administration's over-spendng brought us to the brink of financial meltdown.

It was Obama's trilion-dollar redistribution that spared the economy as well as rejuvinated the American manufacturing arm.

Democrats and Republicans do what they do; but one thing that they are good at is compromise.

Obama's health plan will pass, perhaps not as a total socialist idea; but probably in the aspect of a dual system.
In the end, his friends in the Senate and Congress will have to compromise with the Republican GOP.

One thing we Yankees are good at is compromising. And finding a way out at any situation.

I may disagree with Obama on certain issues, but he is still my President.

House prices always go up. Buy stocks on the dips. Your 401(k) is going to pay for a comfortable retirement.

For most Americans, these core beliefs — heavily marketed by the financial services industry — have been widely held for decades. But the collapse of the housing bubble, Financial Panic of 2008 and Great Recession have upended much of the conventional wisdom most individuals took on faith.

The frightening events of the past year have left important lessons for those who lived through them.

Here are seven (once) widely held principles that turned out to be seriously flawed.

Home prices don’t go down.

It hadn’t happened in living memory. And because almost nobody remembered the last big slide in home prices during the Great Depression, it became easier to cling to the myth that it couldn’t happen again. That view was also bolstered by the housing downturn of the early 1990s, in which home prices slipped but saw nothing like the plunge they’ve taken in the past two years.

As the housing market soared toward a peak in 2005, analysts hotly debated whether home prices were headed for a fall, as we reported at the time. The theory being advanced by the real estate and mortgage industries was that as long as incomes kept going up, people could afford ever-bigger mortgages and pricier homes.

But that theory turned out to be wrong for several reasons. First, incomes didn’t keep pace with home prices following the recession of 2001. Second, to feed the bubble, loans were offered to home buyers based on ever-sloppier underwriting. In many cases, borrowers were approved without any proof they could pay the money back. And appraisers were pressured to keep the house price bubble expanding; the evidence of appraisal fraud during the tail end of the bubble is now unassailable.

Despite recent signs of life in the housing market — home sales have bounced off extremely depressed levels — prices are still falling in many parts of the country. It’s still far from clear when those prices will begin to level off.

Wall Street rocket scientists have tamed risk.

One reason lenders were lulled into giving mortgages to homeowners who couldn’t pay them back was that Wall Street convinced investors that the “science” of risk management had advanced to the point that default risk could essentially be eliminated. The mechanism was a series of complex “structured” products that mixed loans together, chopped them up into new investments, added insurance in the form of a credit default swap and — POOF!! — the risk of a homeowner defaulting on a mortgage went away. The pitch was so effective, purveyors of these mortgage-backed securities convinced bond rating agencies to give them their highest, Triple-A blessing.

It wasn’t until the house of cards began to fall and investors went scrambling to cover losses with those credit default swaps that the flaw in the “science” became painfully clear. No one had bothered to check whether the firms writing all that insurance had the money to cover the defaults. And no had bothered to check the theory to see if it stood up when housing prices were falling. Because these derivatives were completely unregulated, no one even knew which banks or investment firms were on the hook, or for how much.

More than any single factor, the unwinding of this CDS market was the spark for the inferno that consumed Bear Stearns, Lehman Bros., and many other firms, threatening the stability of the world financial system

A 401(k) account is going to pay for your retirement.

American savers got an early warning about this one when the dot-com bubble collapsed in 2000. But following the dot-com crash, the market rebounded smartly enough to keep the hope alive that savings in a 401(k) account — or IRA for people whose employers didn’t offer matching contributions — would create enough wealth to retire on.

Today, despite the stock market’s recent rally from panic-driven lows, Americans facing retirement are likely to feel woefully unprepared to finance decades of leisure or philanthropic pursuit. Most of us will simply have to work longer.

Ironically, the shortcomings of the retirement system contributed to the housing bubble as many investors tried to supplement their savings by "flipping" homes or otherwise attempting to profit from the boom. Tales of easy money from early flippers helped spark the later-stage stampede that helped push prices to unsustainable levels.

A house is a great way to save money for the long term.

The real estate industry, through its front-line agents selling houses, was quick to sell new buyers on the idea that a home wasn’t just a place to live. When you put a small amount of money down, and the home's value grew by double-digit leaps year after year, you were onto one of the best investments available, especially for families with little investment money to play with. Since home prices never go down, what could go wrong?

Using a house as an investment turned out to be a bad idea for two reasons. First, many home buyers, seduced by the lending industry’s “easy money” marketing of home equity loans, were quick to scoop out any increased equity as soon as their home gained market value. This boom turned homes into giant ATM machines. When the music stopped, many homeowners had little or no equity left.

Buy and hold stocks for the long term.

This piece of sage advance — along with its cousin, “buy on the dips” — was taken as Wall Street gospel for much of the past 25 years. That’s because the bull market that began in 1982 made stocks a safe bet as long as you were willing to hold your investments long enough.

The theory was severely tested in the Crash of 1987, but the market quickly came roaring back and went on to new highs. When stocks made up ground lost in the 2000 Internet bust — a much longer “correction" — Wall Street insisted it again proved the theory that if you hang on, the market would always recover and move to new highs.

But it turns out the long bull market that began in the 1980s was something of an aberration; it’s quite possible we won’t see one like it again for a long, long time. History shows that recovery from the kind of bubble and collapse we’ve just experienced, in which stock prices fell by half in less than 18 months, can take decades.

For example, the 1906 market peak was not fully restored until 1919. After the market crashed in 1929, it did not fully recover until 1954. The Dow’s February 1966 market peak of 995 marked the beginning of one of the worst stretches for buy-and-holders of the 20th century. The market did not see that level again for nine years, and then it lost half its value again the following year. It took another eight years before the market left the Dow 1000 mark in the rear-view mirror for good.

“Asset allocation” is a good defense against losses.

The theory is a variation on “Don’t put your eggs in one basket,” which still makes sense. But Wall Street undertook a heavy marketing blitz in the past decade to convince individual investors that if they divided their portfolio into asset classes that are “negatively correlated” they could lower the risk of losing money. When one goes up, the other goes down; and vice versa.

Stocks and bonds march to different drummers, the theory goes; so do stocks in the U.S. and elsewhere around the world. By keeping money in many different buckets, you reduce the risk that they’ll all go down at the same time. (Of course, by constantly shifting them around, based on your broker’s latest “optimal allocation,” you’ll also generate lots of fees and commissions for your broker.)

Financial regulators are there to protect homeowners and small investors like you.

The Great Depression left lasting psychological scars on those who lived through it and ushered in a modern regulatory structure designed to prevent a repeat of the financial suffering inflicted on millions of families and small investors. If Wall Street speculators wanted to make their casino-like bets, that was fine. But an alphabet soup of financial regulators — from the SEC to the FDIC — was created to wall off a safe place for Americans to save and borrow the money they needed to buy a home.

In the decades since, deregulation has left American families vulnerable to the rogue lending wave that created the bubble and has now tossed millions of homeowners into foreclosure. Mortgage and appraisal fraud were widespread — and widely ignored — during the boom. The Federal Reserve waited until most of the damage was done before enacting rules that would have prevented the worst lending abuses.

Various regulators ignored warnings that unsustainable risk was building up in the financial system. Congress and the Treasury were quick to provide hundreds of billions of dollars to bail out banks, but efforts to curb the rise in foreclosures have, so far, failed to help the majority of homeowners facing foreclosure.

The White House has proposed a major overhaul of financial regulation, including a new agency that would be tasked with protecting consumers. But the effort has been dogged by turf battles among existing regulators and opposition from various corners of the financial services industry.

We've ended the recession, buyers are purchasing again, the housing market is rising again. The rest of this fiscal quarter will pick up the pase; next year's fiscal growth will improve, as estimates indicate.

And unemployment is predicted, by the Obama Admnistration to fall between 9~% and eventually level off, again.

Cheers,

NEW YORK - The recession will end this summer, if it hasn't already, a research group's measure of employment, stocks and other indicators suggests.

The Conference Board said Thursday that its index of leading indicators rose 0.6 percent in July, its fourth straight gain. The measure is meant to project economic activity in the next three to six months.

The indicators suggest the recession has bottomed out, and growth in economic activity will begin soon. Gross domestic product, which has shrunk for four straight quarters, could grow this quarter, said Ken Goldstein, the Conference Board's economist.

"Looks like the recession ended in June," Tim Quinlan, economic analyst for Wells Fargo Securities, wrote in a research note. The National Bureau of Economic Research, which officially calls the beginning and end of economic cycles, has in the past set an end-date to recessions after several consecutive months of gains in the leading indicators, he said.

But even when the downturn is over, "it's still going to feel like a recession to the average consumer, the average business," Goldstein said.

The U.S. likely saw economic growth early in the current July-September quarter as the Cash for Clunkers program boosted auto sales, said Jennifer Lee, economist with BMO Capital Markets.

An accompanying index meant to measure the current state of the business cycle was flat in July, after dropping for eight straight months, the Conference Board said. Meanwhile, the six-month growth rate rose to 3 percent through July, up from 2.1 percent through June. That's the highest growth rate since mid-2004, the Conference Board said.

However, July's 0.6 percent growth was slower than the 0.8 percent rise in July and 1.2 percent gain in May. Economists polled by Thomson Reuters had expected the indicators to rise 0.7 percent last month.

Six of the 10 indicators that comprise the index increased in July, including employment data and stock prices.

JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. â€" Central bankers from around the world expressed growing confidence on Friday that the worst of the financial crisis was over and that a global economic recovery was beginning to take shape.

Sales of existing homes rose 7.2 percent in July, the biggest jump this decade and a bigger one than analysts had expected.
“The prospects for a return to growth in the near term appear good,” declared Ben S. Bernanke, chairman of the Federal Reserve, offering optimism both about the United States and the worldwide outlook.

Though the Fed chairman repeated his warning that the economic recovery here was likely to be slow and arduous and that unemployment would remain high for another year, he went beyond the central bank’s most recent statement that economic activity was “leveling out.” Speaking to central bankers and economists at the Fed’s annual retreat here in Grand Teton National Park, Mr. Bernanke echoed the growing relief among European and Asian central bankers that their own economies had already started to rebound.

Even as they indulged in a bit of self-congratulation over what had been achieved since the financial crisis of last year, these central bankers were beginning to focus quietly on another big task, how they will unwind the vast emergency measures they put in place to fight the crisis.

At almost the same time that Mr. Bernanke spoke, the National Association of Realtors reported that sales of existing homes jumped 7.2 percent in July â€" the biggest monthly increase in more than a decade and much bigger than analysts had expected.

Investors reacted ebulliently to both the housing news and to the Fed chairman’s remarks. The Dow Jones industrial average jumped as soon as the markets opened and ended the day up 155.91 points, or 1.67 percent, at 9505.96. Though stock prices are far below their record highs, the Dow has risen 45 percent from March and is at its highest point this year.

Shares of major home builders surged on the improvement in home sales, which was the fourth monthly increase in a row. While forecasters had expected a gain, the size of it jolted investors.

But stocks for a wide range of other companies climbed higher as well, as did the prices of oil, copper and gold. Shares climbed for industrial companies, energy producers and manufacturers of chemicals, plastics and other basic materials.

“This is a bull market,” said Laszlo Birinyi Jr., president of Birinyi Associates, who said he was investing in large banks, well-established technology companies like Apple and big industrial companies like 3M and United States Steel. “There’s just a desire to be in the market and hope that the train will again leave the station.”

Here in Jackson Hole, the mood of relief and cautious confidence among central bankers and economists on Friday was almost palpable â€" a stark contrast to the anxiety and tension that permeated their retreat here one year ago.

“It is reasonable to declare that the worst of the crisis is behind us, and that the first signs of global growth have appeared earlier than we generally expected nine months ago,” said Stanley Fischer, governor of the Bank of Israel and a top former official at the International Monetary Fund.

In the past week, France and Germany both surprised forecasters by reporting positive growth after a string of quarterly contractions. Japan followed with its own growth report.

The Fed and other central banks will have to unwind a number of emergency measures deployed during the peak of the crisis as growth returns.

A growing number of economists and some Fed officials say the shift to tighter monetary policies and higher interest rates, though unlikely to start until at least the middle of next year, may have to be much more abrupt than normal if they are to prevent inflation two or three years from now.

“When you get into a crisis like this, gradualism is not the right strategy,” said Frederic S. Mishkin, an economist at Columbia University who was a Fed governor from 2006 until 2008. “Of course, when things turn around, you have to be aggressive in the other direction.”

Indeed, the Federal Reserve’s “exit strategy” could lead to a clash with the Obama administration. The White House plans to release its newest budget estimates next week, and administration officials said that the 10-year deficit will rise to $9 trillion â€" a big jump from its earlier estimate of $7 trillion.

Some Fed officials are already worried about criticism that they are financing the government’s deficits by buying up long-term Treasury securities, and the central bank announced last week that it would end that program next month.

US Economy Surges Again

1 of 1Full Size
By Lucia Mutikani

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. retail sales rose at the fastest pace in three-and-half years in August and a gauge of New York State manufacturing activity hit a near two-year high, offering hope of a solid recovery from recession.

A separate report on prices received by U.S. producers rose faster than expected last month, a further sign that economic activity was firming.

The Commerce Department said on Tuesday that retail sales climbed 2.7 percent after declining 0.2 percent in July. It was the biggest monthly advance since January 2006 and well above expectations on Wall Street for a 2 percent increase.

"Retail sales show the recovery is here. This wasn't just autos, it wasn't just gasoline. This was the U.S. consumer getting out of their foxhole," said T.J. Marta, market strategist at Marta on the Markets in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. "This is indisputably a good number."

The strong data pushed prices for U.S. government bonds lower, but stocks had trouble gaining traction and major indexes were down slightly.

Economists are generally in agreement that the U.S. economy is in the early phase of recovery from the worst recession in seven decades, but many remain worried about lackluster consumer demand with rising unemployment decimating incomes.

The Federal Reserve will consider the data at a meeting next week at which officials will debate when they should begin scaling back the extraordinary support they are providing the economy. One official has already questioned whether the central bank should move ahead with all its planned support.

Isaiah Chapter 55

1 "Come, all you who are thirsty,
       come to the waters;
and you who have no money,
       come, buy and eat!
       Come, buy wine and milk
       without money and without cost.
2 Why spend money on what is not bread,
and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,
and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.

3 Give ear and come to me;
hear me, that your soul may live.
I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
my faithful love promised to David.

4 See, I have made him a witness to the peoples,
a leader and commander of the peoples.

5 Surely you will summon nations you know not,
and nations that do not know you will hasten to you,
because of the LORD your God,
       the Holy One of Israel,
for he has endowed you with splendor."

6 Seek the LORD while he may be found;
call on him while he is near.

7 Let the wicked forsake his way
and the evil man his thoughts.
Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,"
       declares the LORD.

9 "As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 As the rain and the snow
       come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
       without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

12 You will go out in joy
       and be led forth in peace;
       the mountains and hills
will burst into song before you,
and all the trees of the field
       will clap their hands.

13 Instead of the thornbush will grow the pine tree,
and instead of briers the myrtle will grow.
This will be for the LORD's renown,
       for an everlasting sign,
       which will not be destroyed."

to add to this,

Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments! His offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. Light dawns in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious, merciful, and righteous. It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice.

Bible Study / Re: Litany to God The Father

The following is a verse in the 1st chapter of Ephesians. I read this today and was touched by the Holy Spirit again, and wanted to share this beautiful prayer-verse to all of you, my brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ LORD.

----

For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit[f] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, 20which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, 23which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

--Ephesians 1:15-23
