Not only do men rape women, they rape dogs too. What has the world come to?  >:(

Seriously, sex with animals is one of the sickest sexually deviant behaviours gyud. I remember a conversation I had with some male friends a long time ago, nga naa daw sila nakit-an nga x-rated tape of a woman having sex with a horse? sick, sick, sick!

Also, I've heard of an embalmer in CDO who has sex with female cadavers. I believe this is called necrophilia?

Lots of nutjobs in the world.

C2H4, you have an arsenal of shocking stories.

Now I am enraged.

Oh, I wouldn't exactly call it an arsenal, Mr Admin. More like a collection or a collage of stories that have made an impact on me.

I can be quite ditzy but I do tend to remember the stories that affect the way I feel, the way I think, and the way I see the world.

With regards to this issue, I am sincerely hoping the girl survives this, and that she can still find it within herself to be happy someday.
#3503
These are the reasons why I think men are happier than women:

--they don't have to deal with a pesky and inconvenient monthly visitor
--they don't have to deal with carrying a baby inside their tummies for nine whole months
--they don't have to deal with the excruciating pain of childbirth

...and last, but not the least...

--they pee standing up

:)

Rape is a very real danger in our society, Mr Admin. Of all rape cases, maybe only 10% are reported. Sa giingon ni Miss Mari, tungod pud ni sa perception sa mga tawo nga sad-an ang biktima, nga imbes mo panig sa rape victim, mag blame naman hinuon. Look at what happened to that girl nga gi rape adtong US soldier sa Zamboanga, she was bombarded with criticisms...but she pursued her case, and won.

The weird thing is, rape is not even sexual in nature. It is basically driven by a man's need for control, to prove his strength, his manhood by subduing a defenseless woman.

Also, dako kaayo'g connection ang drugs aning mga rape cases. Sa Chiong case, the rapists were drug addicts. Sa Visconde massacre, the criminals were drug addicts. I saw an episode on rape victims on Magandang Gabi Bayan several years ago...one story was of a 50 year old woman, who got raped repeatedly for a period of time by her own son, everytime the latter got high with drugs. She couldn't bring herself to turn him over to the police because he was, after all, her son.

#3505
Miss Mari, I would never, ever think of blaming the girl for keeping quiet. She's been through enough hell already. My post was just in response to Mr Admin's wondering why the story hasn't come out in the media yet. And I said, it's probably because no one's talking...not the girl, not the school, and most especially not the criminals. So when no one talks, there's basically no story.

My landlady in CDO (when I was in hs) adopted a baby girl from her former student boarder. She was also a nursing student, coming home late one night after a class, raped by four estambays. She was from Davao. She only told my landlady and no one else. Later on, she found out she was pregnant. She didn't even tell her parents she was pregnant. Immediately after she gave birth, she left. My landlady never heard from her again. The baby is now about 10 yrs old.

Everyone reacts differently to trauma. Lahi lahi atong coping mechanism. The girl coped by forgetting it ever happened, and moving on with her life. She cannot be blamed for that. It's her life, after all. But if she won't talk, we can't go after the criminals or do anything.

That's all I'm saying.

#3506
Dong: don't remind me, I get depressed thinking how close I am to being middle-aged... :'(

Admin: you can call me C2H4, that's my name here, masakpan unya ko sa akong mga gipang utangan kung i-mention nimo akong name...

Anyways, Mr Admin, the girl who got raped chose to stay quiet, it's how she copes. She has the right to remain silent or come out, she has the right to do whatever she thinks is best for her right now. But if she won't fight for justice, and have those rapists tried under the court of law, the media or anyone else, couldn't do it for her.

So, I don't think this story is coming out in the papers anytime soon. The victim is not talking. And the school is more than happy not to say anything about this.

Ate, the rape did happen. My future stepson is taking up nursing in this school.

I'm wondering why the media did not publish this story.

There is a debate among Cebuanos right now, some are questioning the aunthenticity of the story. Some are starting to think these are just rumors. The girl needs to come out, and fight for herself, para ma priso ning mga tawhana.

Until then, puro ra mga hungihong ang ma dunggan nato bahin aning estoryaha.

PS. Admin, you're now officially older than I am, so I can't possibly be your Ate.

Oh, this has been quite the subject of heated debates in Cebuano forums, Mr Admin.

The girl, I believe, is a student at Cebu Doctor's. They say (some people in some forums) the school is denying that any such horrendous event happened. Some say that it really did happen, but that the girl was given hush money by the school administration--to preserve the school's reputation.

Again, this is from what I've read in some Cebuano forums.

I feel so bad for the girl. Rape is the worst, worst, worst offense against women.

Dapat ma lethal injection ning mga rapists.

I meet quite a few interesting people, and by interesting, I mean not ordinary.  ;)

I met a character yesterday. He was an older gentleman, probably around 60 or so. He approached me, with a very serious look on his face and said, "Hi, I don't want to cause trouble or anything, but I noticed that the TV (pointing to the TV outside the pharmacy) does not have a nice color hue. I wish you'd tell the manager to adjust the color because it upsets me."

;D

There is a new uso in the States that's more dangerous than sleepwalking. It's called sleepdriving.

It's been observed in people who take the sleeping pill Ambien (Zolpidem tartrate). Some people who take Ambien to help them sleep, find themselves falling asleep on the wheel on the drive to work the next day.

I never knew my mom's father, he died when mama was only 9 yrs old. My dad's father, I wasn't close to him either. But I have great memories of my great grandmother and my mommy...memories that I will forever cherish.

My great grandmother had beautiful hair, and she would let me comb her hair from time to time, with her pearl comb. I also miss the Inabangnon pastries she used to prepare for us. The fondest memory I have of mommy, was when she taught me how to say The Guardian Angel's Prayer...

There are Koreans investing in a manganese mine over by Anda. The man who owns the land gets very little; but, the mayor has several new cars and a big brand new house from the money the Koreans paid for "permits".
And most of their operations are mechanized, and what work there is for locals is is lousy work in the mine.
All these grand schemes. The average person gains little.

Well, the town mayor is at the top of the food chain, so he always gets first pickings.

That's how it is.

#3546
Agayyy!!!

galaway nako dire...

I actually cooked chicken adobo a while back nga medyo palpak, daghan ra kaayo'g sabaw...

Still tasted good though...

Here's the recipe:

Pork / Chicken Adobo Recipe
Estimated cooking time: 50 minutes

Adobo Ingredients:

1/2 kilo pork, cut in cubes
1/2 kilo chicken, cut into pieces
1 head garlic, minced
1/2 yellow onion, diced
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 cup vinegar
2 cups of water
1 teaspoon paprika
5 laurel leaves (bay leaves)
4 tablespoons of cooking oil or olive oil
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons water
Adobo Cooking Instructions:

In a big sauce pan or wok, sauté garlic and onions on cooking hot 2 tablespoons of oil.

Add the pork and chicken to the pan. Add 2 cups of water, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, vinegar, paprika and the bay leaves. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or when meat is tender.

Remove the pork and chicken from the sauce pan and on another pan, heat cooking oil and brown the pork and chicken for a few minutes.

Mix the browned pork and chicken back to the sauce and add cornstarch dissolved in water to thicken. Bring to a boil then simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Serve hot with the adobo gravy and plain rice.

Adobo Cooking Tips:

You have the option to add crushed ginger to the onions and garlic when sautéing. Ginger adds a unique flavor to your pork/chicken

Here's the pic:

#3547

hahahaha, salamat pood for the encouragement, 'te. I really really appreciate that. Being able to talk about it and just...i guess..share the experience with people does help. You are very correct, 'te, I do love my friends. We've been so so so much together, bad times, good times, not so good times. It hit home, to me, that i wont be seeing most of them for a long time, if ever. But i like to think that the good Lord likes to provide for ways for things to happen. Love ya, 'te. I mean that.

Sakto ka dong, let's entrust everything to the Lord. The gift of friendship is amazing, isn't it? Colorful gyud atong life because of friends...

Thanks pud, dong...sa imong gisulti. Ma touch man pud ta. Mura naman pud ka'g brother nako ba. I have a baby brother, a year younger than you, name niya is Brandon. Pareha pud siya nimo, baga ug kilay.

Dodong,

God is good. I believe nga perfect timing kaayo nga nag post si Jaja sa iyang pics at a time when you feel lonely and out of it, at least the pics are making you feel better...

I went through the same thing in college. But with men, it's different. The fact that you cried must mean that you love them very, very much. It takes a real man to show his true feelings, dong. So I am proud of you for telling your bestfriends just how important they are. We must tell people we love that we love them whenever we get the chance, kay wala ta kahibaw ug unsa'y mga mahitabo puhon.

Dong, Im sad for you nga mo una sila grad nimo. It'll be tough for sure when that happens, but we're here for you. TB will take away a little bit of that loneliness, I hope.

If you need someone to talk to, your ate belle and I are always available on YM 24/7...

:)

*24/7 online is an exaggeration, but we do care for you 24/7*

Unsa man pud purpose nga mo attack sila?

Wala man ko'y nasabtan ani Admin...

Can you interpret this, in layman's terms...with the layman being an idiot?

Ayaw ko balaki sa imong "Ayaw Ko Pangutan-a" poem ha

I'm doing fine dodong, can't sleep too. Excited pa kaayo over Georgia's win. They went into overtime, it was nerve-wracking. When they scored the final touchdown, I was so happy I did my famous chicken dance. Hahaha!

Murag ga reminisce gyud siguro mo, dodong. Because when you graduate, you and your friends will go on different paths na. You won't see them as much. Mingawon gyud ka ana.

Imong Ate Belle, tigowang na, natulog na siya 12 midnight pa lang. Dili na niya makaya ang walang tulugan. Sakit na daw iyang hawak!

Hahaha! Miss Belle, just messin' with yah! Labs yu!
