Love Talk / Re: 3 Things Men Can't Resist in a Woman

Another thing:

1. Her smile, especially when she shows off her teeth! RAWRRRRR!
2. Her firm handshake or when she grabs me! Baby!
3. How we kiss. Can be soft like a kitten, can be wild, and can be violent. Passionately sensual. Very compatible.

I agree with the thread concept.

Age is nothing but a number.

My love is slightly older than me, but she's emotionally and mentally mature.
The way I love it.

I don't ever want to deal with childish demeanor or immaturity.
As a medical student, and a lab instructor, stressed as I am, I have no time for emotional instability.

I like a woman who knows what she wants, and determined to get it.
She has to be able to keep up with me.
Because that is what I am. Intense. Goal-oriented.
If she cannot keep up with me, I will speed ahead.

Love Talk / Re: When arguing with your friends
November 19, 2009, 04:58:12 PM
My closest friends know how to take my words, can see through my cynicism and can debate with me for hours.
And in the end of the day, can laugh with me after hours of heated debate.

With coffee in one hand, and a smile in our faces.

Hail to True Friendships!

A Gift of God in Heaven!

Her face, her body, her everything.

I love how my babe's hands and legs and feet are shaped. So firm, so strong, so hard-working.

Intelligence added to beauty added to depth of her soul.
The sweetest of nectarines!
#34409
When I walk towards her direction, while her male colleagues are talking to her, I notice.

In my confident gait, I walk her direction, and eye the men that are talking to her.
They all see me, and notice my facial glare.

My eyes are affixed to her. And smile. She smiles back.
I extend my firm handshake to her colleagues, firm as can be.
Then to her, I turn my head and whisper in professional demeanor, "Lady, I loved the coffee."

Her face blushes red. A smile covers her face, and I wink in return.
Before I leave, I gently whisper to her, "Palangga Kita, Babae.."

But before I leave, I feel a pinch, her pinch, on my lower back. Silly woman. ;)

Dear Ms S______________

I woke up this morning at around 8:39 am, to find your bed empty. I was there, but you were not found.
You went to class for your anatomy lab review, and I was still in your apartment bedroom, lol.
I could not help but roll to your bedside and smell your pillows. Your scent still is strong, so lovely, my darling woman!

I bit your pillow, btw. But you shall never know that ;)
Only the readers of this post shall, ha ha ha!

I went downstairs to the kitchen and found your note.
"Dear Lucino, I left for class, you were still heavy asleep, so I let you sleep.
There is a mug of coffee in the microwave. Just re-heat it. Made it just how you liked it.
Ill be back later. Stay here. Study here.
LOVE,
XOXO"

Woman, woman, my dear woman.
I loved the coffee.
Second, I love your company!

Your Lover,
A.L.L

Brother Jun, we are all sinners and faulted. Romans 3:23 proclaims truth, "For ALL have fallen short of the Glory of God."

The Lord knows that we are all tempted, and affected by this primordial fact. He has, though, provided us a way and means out of this continual struggle and perdition, and it is through His Son, Jesus Christ, that we can attain salvation. And a way out of Eternal Perdition.

Can imagine, sir, what a loving God we have, a God who removed himself from immunity of pain, and came down into the world that he made, chose himself to be born of a humble maiden, into human form, in the most humblest of places...a manger. That He, would choose to save those whom He created for the sake of His Fatherly Love.

Merciful Savior Lord...that is our God. :)

God Bless You!

Any developing nation will have corruption within its midst; where there is discrepancy, disparity, hunger, need, and political dynastical systems, where there are poor and unfulfilled peoples, when a population segment is lorded over by the rich elite who holds the reign of power, there will be, indeed, absolutely, a natural urge for the ruling class to maintain their power. Corruption provides the way to maintain the status quo.

Christ Jesus reminds us about this~ the Pharisees of the day. The corrupt men of power that lords over the poor, the dying, the marginalized.

If one looks at any developing nation, their religion has nothing to do with it, there will be corruption. It is simple human factor. East African nations are mostly muslim or protestant or some have catholic populations, but corrution within the state is a pragmatic reality. Another thing to keep in mind is South Asia. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka; these are nations that mostly Hindu, Muslim or Buddhist (Thervada or Mahayana), and corruption is quite high in these given societies. Violence as well. Catholics are minimal in these societies; can we blame it on Catholic faith? Of course not. To do so is not only infantile but also narcissistic.
The blame goes to human factor, human greed, power hunger, etc. The purity of faith should not be admixed with the corruption of the wicked.

Even in the United States, a mostly Protestant Christian Nation, still it has corruption and vices. Many politicians that have been sacked for adultery, tax evasion, bribery, etc most of them have been protestants. So, in the end, I think it is quite unfair and judgemental to blame Catholic Church on corruption.

In proper sociological-religious-economic-political analysis, one will realize that corrution is an evolutionary trait in any given society--as they march to progressive policies. But even then, corruption cannot and will not be totally eradicated. The United States, as an example, stands and bears witness to that.

Cheers.

Bible Study / Re: The Catholic Faith

Corruption and greed is not attributed to a religion, nay, it is attributed to human factor.

The Chinese Government, a communist style government, and one that is atheistic and believing in only the supremacy of the State and owes no fealty to a deity but the State, is also highly corrupt. And Catholics are a minority in the country; that said, Christians in general are a minority in China. So, that argument of Catholic numbers contributing to corruption is nill.

India, a hugely Hindu nation is also incredibly corrupt. Same argument applies.

Russia, mostly an Orthodox Primacy, is also corrupt in its internal affairs. Catholics are a minority in that country. Same applies for Ukraine.

Corruption is, unfortunately, a human phenomenon. An innate problem when there are massive discrepancies between the rich and poor in any given society.

The Holy Mother the Church is immune from such crimes; given there may have been sheeps and members of the cloth that have engaged in some acts, but their actions do not speak for the entirety of the Church.

Cheers!

Adoramus te, Christe, et benedicimus tibi, quia per sanctam crucem tuam redemisti mundum!

The word Catholic is latin meaning "UNIVERSAL"

Christianity and Catholicism is intertwined. It was from Catholicism that all branches of Christianity came from.

It was, after all, the Catholic Church that wrote and compiled the Holy Bible.

:)

Even before the Bible was composed and formalized, the Catholic Church was already THERE.

Luuy pood itawn.
I know how it is like to feel that way, brother. Sakit ang dughan to think about it again, pero I think it is good that we are discussing about this because I want to let you know lang, bro, that there are times for things.

There are times that God puts in our plate. Times of honor, times of success, times of pain, times of grieving, times of remorse, times of happiness, times of joy. Know lang, bro, that crying is only a phase, and that God has great and good plans for you in the future.

I want to remind you a message in Psalm 30:5,
"For his anger lasts only a brief moment, and his good favor restores one’s life.  One may experience sorrow during the night, but joy arrives in the morning.

Keep that in  your heart and mind, brother.
Joy arrives in the morning. He shall restore your gladness, for sure.
And when he does, hark, you shall Glorify His Name all the more!

Blessings and Peace be with you, bro.

I would cry.
I would cry a river of tears.
I would be depressed.
I would be heart broken.
I would be saddened,
with a heart torn asunder,
with total and absolute abysmal decadence.

For a love, my love, that I have given is in its total purity and totality.
When I love, I love in complete entirety.
I give my heart, my soul, my body, my mind, my emotional complexity and with it, a plethora of gifts that beckons the name and for the name of LOVE.

The act of cheating is total rejection and eradication of my given Love.
Which I give and directed for the one whom I adore and cherish.
If she cheated on me, I would be totally, heart broken.

I would not have the strength to forgive her..no way.
I would, most probably, have to remove her memory from my mind.
For it would haunt and hurt me so. Beyond word's descriptive phrases.

Truth be told.

The patient should have been given Thrombolytics (streptokinase) in the prevention of this stroke, as well as been placed in Warfarin or Heparin therapy.

Prayers to the Dompor family is mandated.

#34440
The reason why is that quintuple bypass.

The reason for any bypass surgery is to reconnect proper blood supply due to an occlusion (thrombosis) of a major arterial vessel. What happened in the case of this patient, was that there was a thrombi that managed to enter his arterial supply to the brain, and impinged the (most probably) the Internal Carotid Artery, which branches from the common carotid artery. This thrombitic occlusion lead to a cerebral thromboembolism, leading to a cerebral infarct, therefore results in a stroke.

For that is what a stroke is; death of tissue (brain) due to excessive blood and oxygen loss.
Over 5 minutes, and the damage is, unfortunately, irreparable. As it leads to tissue necrosis.

Dearest Blog,

How are you? What is going on?
Life, as always, moves on. Let that be known.

My friend and our medical college's librarian assistant, Andalita K, passed away this Saturday.
I found out about this this morning from my clinical instructor. To my total astonishment.
I just saw her and talked to her on Friday, and I am so very sad to hear of her demise.
She was healthy, to my visual inspection from our last conversation, which was outside of the library's halls.
She was talking about visiting her family in Holland, and I, sharing my experiences and familial nostalgia.

She did ask me on Thursday Last, if I was going home for winter break, and I replied, "Yes, Andalita, I am."
With a smile on her face she said, "Thats good, Al. Family is always good."

It is in sad and grieving posture that I offer a hymn of praise to God in the Highest for His love,
and acceptance of what has happened as being the Will of the Most High.
He who knows each one's hour and demise, the time of death, and the manner of death.
To which all are destined to, as is written in the Book of Life.

God, Eternal Father, we pray for the life and the soul of the late Ms. Andalita K,
That thou woud'st grant her mercy and justice in the hour of her judgement.
Remember, O Lord, that mercy was never alien from you,
and that Grace and Pardon is filled in the heart of your Son, Jesus Christ.
Merciful Savior, judge the soul of Andalita, my friend, in accordance to your precepts and Law,
that despite her weaknesses, she did live a faithful and Good Life.
Vouchsafe for her, Lord, the acceptance into your Kingdom,
A Kingdom that shall never perish, and shall stand in unison before Your Glory.
In Glorious Praise we ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord.

Amen.

Went to class, had lunch with friends, worked some more in the library, did grocery shopping. Came back home, took a nap, cooked food, and then studying (now). Pulling an all-nighter tonight.

Brod, one time ning away-away mi kai na suko ko niya.

She wrote something that brought me to tears, I shall only paraphrase it because it is quite long.

She wrote 4 pages of her complains, and of what she liked etc etc,

but the ending part said this, which brought me to absolute tears.

"As much as I try to hate you, to hate you, to remove you from my thoughts, BranBran, I cannot. For how can I hate you? As much as I try to despise you, I love you even more. As much as I try to ignore you, and think not of you, my whole day becomes unproductive because my mind is encompassed with you. "

unsa man diay ang style of writing sa Victorian Era, bai Lorenz?

sample palihug...

he he he, the Victorian style of writing is, in my opinion, the pinnacle of writing. Superfluous in wording.

Here is a sample, Bugsay:

{Sample ra ni, this is only one paragraph, of a letter that is usually 2-4 pages long; 1 page is front and back ) ;)

Oct. 17, 2009.,

To my dearest Lorenzo,
Sweetheart of my day, where did you go, have you lost your honor in love? How long have I waited to see you outside of the medical campus, for me to see the men and women of our class, in adoration of one another. My sweetheart, I hated them all for they smiled and were within each other's breasted carress, dastards, all of them.
Where was my Lorenzo? Shall you not reward me with a kiss? Shall you not wrap your arms, which brings so much ecstasy and revelry to me? You express your passion to me, passion of the most extreme, yet how can you allow me to wait as if the stars revolve around you? Good sir, i am missing you.

How could you?

S.S

PS. I still miss you.

So beautiful to read all of your your plans and expectations, guys.

To Bugsay, Jenneth, Anne, and Nats,

I do pray that all your plans that you present to the Judgement Seat of Jesus Christ will be made manifest.
Let us pray that the Lord will continue to safeguard you all, and your loved ones and friends.
And give you all the strength and guidance throughout the paths that come before you,
for with HIM, all things are possible.

Make the Lord Jesus Christ your rock, your firmament and your Goal in life,
so much so that whatever you put your plans to, and do, will come to pass.

In all your ways Glorify The Lord Your God, and for sure, He will make your paths strait.

Wait in the LORD. In faithfullness, Wait in the LORD.

God Bless you guys!

But of course, my friend.

#34473
Brod, for me, I have never ever in my life met a woman who was so similar to me. Never.
This one is pretty close.

One word describes me, "Intense"
She is the same.
So very the same.

Sometimes, we finish each other's sentences,
we know what we are thinking, sometimes. (lol)

Do you know how crazy it is to have that feeling?

---

She told me once,
"Do you believe in halves?"
I remarked, "what do you mean, sweetheart?"

"Halves. The belief in the 'other half'. Sometimes we meet them in our lives, sometimes we may come to paths with them, without even allowing ourselves to get to know them, or connect with them. And when you do..its total."

I remarked back, "I do believe in a purpose for things, love."

She said this to me, which really awakened me to how deep she really is. "My gut feeling tells me that you're my other half, Lorenzo. I have never connected with a man as deeply as you. Physically, in mind, in spirit, in everything."

I was totally caught of guard.

All my life, it was always I, who was told I was too intense by former loves.
I was the one that was told I was too much for them, too deep, or told to "lets slow things down".

So the feeling of being overwhelmed emotionally, personally, is very new.
I like it. I LOVE it.

----

Brod Bugsay, there are times where we just sit down by the pier or in my place and just talk.
Gaze into each other for Hours.

he he he

:)
#34474
She once said to me, "Lorenzo, how and where do you keep these emotions? You don't show them in the surface?"
I answered her with a verse from Ralph Waldo Emerson, "What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us."

I have specifically told her that I would make correspondence with her through a pen.
As I don't think emails can suffice as penned letters.
One can see the emotions in written letters, can feel the passion of the writer,
and the persistence.

In my opinion lang, there is nothing more beautiful than to read a woman's thoughts.
What lies within her eyes, and wat is within the soul.
To me, that is the sweetest nectar.
Far more sweeter than the taste of a kiss.
And as equally powerful as a woman's soft touch and warmth.

Cheers,
Lorenzo

bai Lorenz, dugay na ug regular na pod na silang nag letter-letter ug sprinkle-sprinkle.
gisigihan nag lawog ang cobra sa tirong...bwahahha

haha, brod, ila-ilaha ra na lang na. lol!

Para nako, I love it when my mahal writes to me, in fact, ma suko ko niya ug dili siya mo write. One time I wrote her a 16 paged letter, deep man to kaayo, (i think, ha ha), so deep that i wanted to ask her if i could read the letter i wrote her---she responded with a "NO! Its mine!" aguy! suko-a pood ning bajiha! hahahaha

So I expected that she would reciprocate a letter for me, I waited the next day, pero wala. A second day, pero wala, a third day, wala pa gihapon! sus marihosep! Then a 4th and 5th time. It was a Friday, I specifcally remember it now, I was in the library reading and sipping a cup of chai latte, then out of no where, Ms. S comes to my desk, hands on the desk and stares deeply at me. Caught me by surprise. Her eyes were burning and deep. We stared at each other--gazing into each other's eyes for a good 5 minutes. I assume people around us thought we were fighting, lol!

She took out a letter, placed it in my book. And sat next to me. Went to work.

I slowly opened the letter (it was in old authentic paper (so classy!)) to see that it was at least 5 pages long. Beautiful kaayo iyang message to me. Mao na to i knew that deep kaayo jud ning bajiha uy. Deep kaayo.
Iyang style of writing is Victorian-Era. I really, really, really love it.

Naa ni siya'y style to end a letter pood.
Poetic verse.

I have, personally, have read and re-read the 50 some letters she has sent me. At least I have read each letter 5-10 times. From the first one to the current one.

: Act young, think young, don't take things too seriously, love alot, exercise the body and soul.
Pray!

#34478
Misty, if it is love that you feel, then express it to him. Write him a letter, deliver it to him, sprinkle it with your favorite scent, talk to him, tell him regularly that you love him, for sure he will like to hear it.

Let it burn deep into the heart of both parties.

Brod Bugsay is correct tho, pray continuously. Prayer calms the heart, and wraps around it, making it cushion blows, and soften words. Prayer should be a daily regimen for lovers, because, afterall, the beauty and relation two lovers have is pure LOVE.

And The Lord Our God is LOVE. :)

Shepherd me, O God,
beyond my wants,
beyond my fears,
from death into life.

1. God is my shepherd,
so nothing shall I want,
I rest in the meadows
of faithfulness and love,
I walk by the quiet waters of peace.

2. Gently you raise me
and heal my weary soul,
you lead me by pathways
of righteousness and truth,
my spirit shall sing
the music of your Name.

3. Though I should wander
the valley of death,
I fear no evil,
for you are at my side,
your rod and your staff,
my comfort and my hope.

4. You have set me a banquet of love
in the face of hatred,
crowning me with love
beyond my pow’r to hold.

5. Surely your kindness and mercy
follow me all the days of my life;
I will dwell in the house of my God
forevermore.

And I, in my study, zone out to focus on Osteomyelitis pathology and disease projection, i did not notice how she was staring at me the entire time.

I only realize after several minutes, then my eye makes contact with her face. I caught her, red-handed. lol.
She smiles. and makes her typical baby-face look. Time out of studying.

I get up and walk up to her, kiss her on the cheeks and whisper the 'I L Y' he he he

My address to my brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ:

Brethren and fellow sheep in Christ Jesus who is our Eternal Lord and Sheppard,
we, all of us who have accepted Jesus Christ into our lives as our Lord and Savior,
have been accepted into the Heart of The Father,
but because we are received as sons and daughters, we will be chastised because He Loves us.

We will be tested, and our faith shall be set in the fire to be tested.
For it is in fire that gold is purified.

So let our faith in Christ's Divine Mercy be purified and justified in HIM who has called each of us
By Name.

Let us Glorify Him,
Our Lord and Savior.
He who has called us Heavenward in Jesus Christ!

Glorify Him!
He who is ALONE worthy of Glory, Honor and Praise.

Amen, Brod. Gener.

And to add to that, Brother Gener, we must fight temptation as it is a test from Our Father Who Is In Heaven.

Reading this verse from Hebrews, chapter 12 is quite empowering!
----

3 Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted. 4 In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. 5 And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons?

“My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord,
nor be weary when reproved by him.
6 For the Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and chastises every son whom he receives.”

7 It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8 If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. 9 Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness. 11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

I love the way that you look without your make up,
I had a girl before we met but we broke up,
There's something about you that makes me wanna step up,
step up and be with you... if that's ok with you?

we'll keep the neighbours awake, to late, to late,
coz i'm gonna make you feel so good,
it's how i see it happening,
yeah, we'll keep the neighbours awake, to late to late
cos baby i wanna step up and be with you,
if that's ok with you?

chorus

I'm gonna make you feel like you're heaven on earth
I'm gonna thank your mother just for giving you birth
i'm gonna wanna hold you in my arms when you cry
if that's ok with you (if that's ok with you)

I wanna keep your toothbrush at my apartment,
next make you a set of keys and ask you to move in,
i'm not crazy!
i know what i'm getting myself in,
i wanna live with you, if that's ok with you?

I'm gonna make you feel like you're heaven on earth,
I'm gonna thank your mother just for giving you birth,
I'm gonna wanna hold you in my arms when you cry.
If that's ok with you (if that's ok with you)

I'm gonna make you feel like you're heaven on earth,
I'm gonna thank your mother just for giving you birth,
i'm gonna wanna hold you in my arms when you cry.
if that's ok with you (if that's ok with you)

If that's ok with you?

we'll keep the neighbours awake, to late, to late,
