...political strategy of chatto.....chatto will "buy" herrera (30M more or less) to slide down at 1st district.....in this case he wont need a huge amount for the governiship fight.....naa pa syay savings......so up to nov 30, chatto will try to convince by hook-or-by-crook herrera to slide down at 1st district......the question now for the herreras is do they have a better chance of winning in 1st district rather than fightin it out for the governorship............just my humble analysis

with the election just a few months from now.....i dont think they would ever donate....they would just save it para sa "uwan-uwan" nila sa election

i dont mind na mag electionering ang atong incumbent gov, vice-gov and 3 tongressmen by way of early campaining as long as they donate a portion of their SOP (10%-30% per project) sa ilang pork barrel to the bolanon victims in metro manila brought about typhoon ondoy..... mo kiss gyud ko nila if they do this

we're also very much worried.....i have a cousin in cainta....phase 9, midtown village. the problem is she has a sick mom with her whose under respirator. she has a genset but is running out of fuel. the last time we spoke to her was yesterday noon. we hope and pray that somehow they were able to get fuel for their genset. all communication lines to cainta, rizal are dead.

i totally agree with you glacier way pili pili ang bagyo. if my memory serves right, this flooding here in metro manila was the worst in more than a decade. its also heartening to note that the worst times can bring out the best san mga filipino. alot of people from all walks of life are ready to lend a helping hand in anyways.

THE UE-ATENEO UAAP championship series is going to be a lightning bolt that will slash quickly and fade just as swiftly into the annals of the league.

The series will be frenetic with passions heating up on the court, as well as in the galleries.

Expect a high-octane series, what with both teams on winning streaks. Game One will be the most explosive with both squads going with the strengths that brought them to the finals. Adjustments will come later.

The team that plays the better defense should win the title. Defense brings you back to earth in the heat of the championship series. It will always be there even when the offense goes astray.

Ateneo will mark Paul Lee and it will be up to the red-hot guard how he will disassemble the Eagle defense by passing off at the right time.

Check out how he will try to find Val Acuña in the wings or dish off to Pari Llagas or Elmer Espiritu at the post.

UE will have to stop Ateneo’s ability to find the corner shooters that seem to wiggle open when Ryan Buenafe or Eric Salamat takes over the point guard chores.

If you’re UE, you have to keep your eyes peeled for Jai Reyes and pocket rocket Emman Monfort, the usual suspects who can hit treys in those corners.

Check how the key players are marked in the series. This will determine whether Ateneo defends its crown, or UE finally ends one of the longest title droughts in its history. Watch very closely because it will happen in a flash

i think it's a typo-error. i just read it now sa inquirer under across the nation section and its says na tacloban branch.

i think gov. rene relampagos had already transfered his registration in tagbilaran last may therefore he his already eligible to run in 1st district......if he'll decide to run. rumor has it that gov. rene might try his luck for city mayor. julius will fight it out with cong. edgar for governorship and older brother sen. boy will fight it out with whoever in the first dist. under the party of villar. and if gov. aumentado will align with villar (w/c is not far-fetched)....definetly the administration camp will be putting someone against gov. aumentado........puros rumor lang ning akoa......but if this scenario will happen 2010 election in bohol will be exciting..... lets get ready to rumble....
