Joshua, he is the only past that I want to be present in my life today.
I will bring his life back.
Sweetness.

For most English-speaking people, the acronym ASAP means “As Soon As Possible†or immediately. But for the Christian it can also mean, “Always Say A Prayer.â€
King Hezekiah was one of Judah’s best kings. He restored the worship of God to his nation after his father Ahaz’s evil reign (2 Kings 18:3-4). Yet when the Assyrian king attacked Judah, Hezekiah capitulated to the king and stripped off the gold from the temple in Jerusalem to placate him (vv.13-16).
That did not satisfy the Assyrian king, however, who returned to issue another threat. It was then that Hezekiah turned to the Lord. He prayed, “You are God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. . . . Save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are the Lord God, You alone†(19:15-19). When Hezekiah prayed, God answered him in a remarkable way and delivered him from his enemies (vv.35-37).
You may be facing a problem that leaves you feeling helpless. It may be the loss of a job, a difficult family or work situation, or health struggles. We have a powerful God to whom we can bring our concerns. So before you do anything else, remember to ASAPâ€"Always Say A Prayer.
Something happens when we pray:
Powers of evil lose their sway,
We gain strength, and fear gives wayâ€"
Therefore, let us pray. â€"Anon.
Prayer should be our first response rather than our last resort.

as a poster myself, i know we run the risk of being misunderstood. i remember trying to explain some things about the middle east in my exchange with alycx (missed now, by me). somewhere along the way, she told me to socialize some more because my "knowledge" is making me lonely. so i gave her 'socialize', and ended up being labeled arrogant (a wind blowing too hard). such instances i take as leeways for more exciting exchanges, not for deletion or banning. otherwise, this forum will be boring for most.
so you "will never tolerate personal attacks in this Forum, for means of pleasure and/or satisfaction". what about if they're for means of displeasure and/or dissatisfaction, or for means of "attacking" someone else in favor of your side?
i can't imagine you deleting anyone who agrees with you, bro. that's your tragedy.

It can happen that for one presumably uplifted spirit there are two utterly pissed off ones.

Thank you again. If there is one thing that I am truly proud of, is the fact that I never put the sophistications I enjoyed in my head. I am still the old 13 year old barrio girl that left Cortes to find a greener pasture.
My parents told me, they are very proud the kind of person I became, because they were absent during my formative years. I left home when I was 13 to find my destiny, and never saw them until I was 24. Eleven long years struggling alone was not easy, but I never make that as an excuse to become a bad and bitter person. I know my parents were guilty for abandoning their responsibilities but I fully understand that they lacked the capability to follow my dreams. They give me life, that is worth than anything. As far as I know, I am a typical child that will do everything within my power to shield my parents from pains and harms.
Along the way, there were so many people that helped and influenced my life. To me they are angels sent by God to fulfill a purpose. They made a difference in my life, in turn I have to extend that favors. I just wish that one day God will make me more capable than I am now so I can do more.
I always believe that the greatest use of life is to spend it for something that outlasts it. That is the only proof that we successfully carried our purpose here on earth.

My life was rough, and yet I never remember I was unhappy. The reason is I know that God has plans for me, and whatever it is, I know I can can handle it because He never left me, never ever.

The Boy Who Cried Wolf
There once was a boy who kept sheep not far from the village. He would often become bored and to amuse himself he would call out,
"Wolf! Wolf," although there was no wolf about.
The villagers would stop what they were doing and run to save the sheep from the wolf's jaw. Once they arrived at the pasture, the boy just laughed. The naughty boy played this joke over and over until the villagers tired of him.
One day while the boy was watching the sheep, a wolf did come into the fold. The boy cried and cried,
"Wolf! Wolf!"
No one came. The wolf had a feast of sheep that day.
Lesson:
No one will believe a habitual liar even when he is telling the truth.
