How To Tips / Re: Do you want to live beyond 100 years?
September 22, 2009, 05:27:59 AM
A person need to have preparation for that
   journey home,
back to dust, where the body
will be put  6 feet under called
   the first death
    then
  to face the judgment seat
  of Christ
  Heaven or hell
  second death (Revelation 20:12-14)
"And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire
       This is the second death"

Basura ang mga kagahapon nga nangumbitay
pilit nga nagpabilin sa kinauyaukang bahin
sa atong alimpatakan

Diin panahon sa atong pag inusara
ang  atong hunahuna nilupad balik
sa mga bati, nindot, tam-is, pait
sakit, kalipay, mga gapnod sa
nanglabayng panahon

Bisan pa ug gusto tabonan apan
ang uwat sa mga samad nga
nataligam-an subay sa
mapintas nga dalan sa kinabuhi
nagpabilin ug lama nga dili hikalimtan

Love Talk / Re: Always be nice to people

Nakit-an nako ni somebody made this up as follows;

         Grumpy's Prayer
Grant me the serenity
  to accept the things
I cannot change

The courage
  to change the things
I cannot accept

And the wisdom
to hide the bodies of those
  people I might kill today
  because they pissed me off

And also, help me
to be careful of the toes
  I might step on today
as they maybe connected to the butt
that I might have to kiss someday.
:D

Spare the rod,
spoil the child

puro pulos man ari sa akong sampot
mao bitaw noon akong manghud lalaki

Keko, I'm so sorry to know about your gf but you are a very smart young
man to detect something that triggers a red flag.
I agree with you for hearing her side of the story just
          be cautious.

I would like to share with you a similar
story of a young man I know very well, he was
very  much in love to this beautiful girl, then
one day she told him it's over, he was surprised
what's going on, she just said she was busy
at the moment some family  issues (Filipina based in Chicago)

Then he learned that this girl who works in a bank
was flirting to get the attention of this Hindu
businessman because he got a million dollar
account in the bank. She succeeded, she got this
Hindu guy as her  new bf.
Sad for the  jilted young man but on the
other hand it's a blessing in disguise
that girl  as he knew later has been with
              different nationalities to satisfy her
lifestyle ( that's what you call gold-digger and whorish)

As aforementioned that there are plenty
of fishes in the ocean, still be cautious
             because piranha are also abundant
  ::)

Exactly, one way of learning is by listening more
and talking less, then examine ourselves
on a daily basis, humbly take corrections
and be open to receive advice from those
who has the knowledge to share, take it
or reject it diplomatically and politely
as you wish, whatever you decide keep it
            to yourself  ;D
#3113
Lorenzo, you got it right
the Latin women are the most beautiful,
sexy but very sensual, very particular with their looks
compared to  any nationalities in the whole world
and for one thing kadaghanan nila dili one-man-woman
That's why the Lord said, that  our flesh cannot be trusted
Romans 8:5 "For they that are after the flesh do mind the
things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit
                         the things of the Spirit"

murder of a sweet, beautiful young
mother who worked as a supervisor in a
  call center in Cebu.
Before ani, para word processing ra ang akong
computer and as a means of communications

Love is a many splendor things.. ::)

Love is a duty as the Bible said to love thy neighbor
not lust or sexual desires kind of love it
means not to make him/her your enemy

Love is an emotional feeling that just burst from
nowhere like the mushroom in your yard after a heavy
  storm.  hahahhahah

But the greatest love I have is for the Lord above
  anybody or anything else.

Keko, what you're saying the same happened to me
when I told my family my BF is American from
New York City, all they say well ok

But when I told them that his grandparents
were immigrants from Spain and his mother is
Puerto-Rican, oh boy all of them were in a shocked,
asking me how in the world you chose that man,
"Spaniards are very strict and you know what they
did to the Filipinos the maltreatment during
those time when  they discovered and
   occupied the Philippines"

But I'm telling you, my Spanish lover/husband is great!

Grazie thank you for posting this info,
  it's very relevant of today's
  ongoing issue with  the Healthcare
that Obama is trying to push down into
the throat of every citizens in this country.

Way back during the Clinton's administration,
his wife Hillary attempted to make  Health
care  universal just like Canada, UK, and
other countries in Europe but she failed
the people especially the retired senior citizens
  opposed it.

Now, the current administration is working
hard to accomplish their goal with the Healthcare.
giapas kon dili  ang kwarta, even the AMA is for it, whoa!
Five pharmaceutical companies are with it, already
busy projecting how many billions they will make kon madayon
 ni nga project.

Ang atong mga doctors, dentists, anybody who
are in the health care professions wala
nay kagawasan nga mofunction tungod kay
ang gobyerno na mauy mohatag ug guidelines
unsay ilang buhaton, pila ka pasyente ilang atimanon
  ana nga shift, etc.
Kon dili mo motuo, then wait and see, kay ang tres
amigos nagmeeting na humana didto sa mexico.

Lord have mercy on us.

Very nice, food for thoughts.

I never let a day pass without praying to the Lord
meditate during my solitude, let Him know He's

Last niyang pamisita iyang giingnan ang babaye,
"Barangon  tika, muuli ko sa Siquijor dayon
maghikog ko, para patay tang duha"
Ang babaye nikurog sa kahadlok, nitubag,
"Sigi uy, sugton na lang tika, ug desidio ka mangasawa
hala sigi na lang kay sa mamatay ko"

Hahahahahhah, nailad si inday!

Here's another input;
A Christian lady from a church called a pastor from

She asked  the pastor if he would please visit her
husband who was ill  with some  mysterious sickness.
The pastor wanted to know why she was calling him.

       What an Exam

A certain college philosophy professor asked one question
on his final exam.
He picked up a chair, put it on his desk and wrote on
the board, "Using everything we have learned this
semester, prove that this chair does not exist!"

The students dug deep and wrote like crazy for the whole
exam period, some of them churning out thirty pages of
  heady philosophical debate and logic.

But only one student earned an A, and he wrote for only
a few seconds. His paper read in full, "What Chair?"

In the hospital, if a person is diagnosed with
terminal cancer, the oncologist will discuss
this with the patient if coherent or with
the family or whoever has the power of
     attorney the decision concerning the
     medical intervention for the patient.

A Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) the
same as No Code status will be written
meaning if I find this patient without
respiration then I don't have to do CPR
    just let  the patient go.

Oftentimes, terminal patients will be placed
under the care of Hospice that is if the oncologist
will determined that he has short time to
    live up to 6 months

    Comfort measures only that is
to make  the patient pain-free with narcotic meds
possibly morphine IV  and other derivatives
it will sedate the patient, mostly asleep
at the same time it will suppress the respiratory
area, that  will hasten their demise as well.

All these decisions has to be put in writing,
to make it legal and binding, para sad tawon

The Lord commanded the husband
      to love their wife
      whereas the wife was commanded
      to obey their husband
Everytime one refuse to listen/adhere  to what the
Lord said, all you get is chaos, turmoil
     and trouble at home.

Why the society allows the women to hit/hurt men?
The answer is; most people are law to themselves
and their notion is that the commandment of
God is just  a part of history or fiction

No, man is never greater than God
the creature is never better than the Creator

Man is born a sinner; God is sinless
Man will die physically, buried 6 feet under
    this is the first death,
then he will face the judgment seat of Christ
    his Creator to be judged

Revelation 21:8  "But the fearful, and unbelieving,
                         and the abominable, and murderers,
                         and whoremongers, and sorcerers,
and idolaters, and all liars, shall have
their part in the lake which burneth
with fire and brimstone: which is
                          the second death"

It should be the wife.

Calle,  those provisions you shared are  very informative
it sound pretty good in writing though, but
         here's the sad part of it;
knowing the law and implementing it are
         totally in different spectrum.

         Some people are educated illiterate
some abuses it because they have an
aunt/uncle or godmother who will defend
them whenever they commit a violation
as murder with their  two-edged  sword like
         tongue by slandering other people's
         reputation or physically  stabbed someone
24 times or  more till the blood
from that person was totally drenched out,
         and get away with murder.

         Now, where is justice?

Wow, that's a handful of information that we ought to know.

The majority of dentists used mercury for fillings those cavities
   including my family dentist.

One of the person I work with gave me some eye-opening
information in which his daughter had several
teeth that had fillings done .
Shortly after that, she fell really sick, vomiting, abdominal pain,
   headache, very weak, etc.

Even the doctor said that it might be some viral infection,
antibiotic did not do the job.
Then he said, to do a mercury test and lo and behold, the
poor little girl got too much in her dental work
   that she became toxic.

Since the cause was known, the girl was cured after
   getting the right treatment.
Thanks to the quick thinking of the father, he did
   the research himself.
At present, they are going to a dentist that does not
  use mercury at all.

#3177
Here's a saying for that;
"An idle mind is the devil's workshop"

1Timothy 5:13 "And withal they learn to be idle,
                         wandering about from house to
house; and not only idle, but
                         tattlers also and busybodies,
                         speaking things which they
                         ought not"

But if sila ungo, wala kay labot as the title say;
"Don't judge people by their relatives"
To each his own
;)

From the scriptural point of view;
Rahab the prostitute became saved,
  she became a Christian.
Out of her came Boaz.
Boaz became the husband of Ruth
   and from this genealogy came
   David.
Then through this line came the Savior,
   the Lord Jesus Christ.

In summary, everyone has a chance
to come to the saving grace of the Lord,
repent and get saved, to avoid the
  eternal pit of hell.

That's really true Lorenzo, but some
people likes to shoot their mouth,
without realizing the negative outcome
much more hurting others.

Psalm 39:1 "I said, I will take heed to my ways,
that I sin not with my tongue: I will
keep my mouth with a bridle, while
                    the wicked is before me"

Such a wonderful passage by King David for us
to meditate  and live by it.

It's just been almost  a year since the baby was buried.
The embalming chemicals had preserved and slow
the decomposing state of the body.

Too much superstition instead of checking the facts.
In a way, it's beneficial to the parents since the
people dug into their pockets to give donation.

The parents need to get the box of donation at the
end of the day before the thief will get
       their hands into it.

Basin maunhan pa sila sa k******n.

Helloooo people, look other nationalities too, dili ra pilipina ang nangaminyo ug dili taga-ila. paet rapud ning isyoha, way kahumanan.

no one has the right to judge anyone.

Exactly.
An American white nurse I work with likes to chat with  foreigners
in Europe. This week and for the next 3 weeks
she is on vacation kay ang iya male friend from
Scotland is coming over to see her.
She is 35 years old, very pretty blond, blue eyes
  and petit.
The Scottish is about her age, and not a rich
   man either.
Both of them are looking for a future mate, after
   their previous failed marriages.
  It's not about money.

Sa Pinas kay daghang himantayon, hilabtanon
  mga balhiboon ug  mga dila.
Kon ila anak college student makauyab
ug walay grado, pwerteng daghanag saway, apil
  tanang relatives, gubot pas lukot.

Hypocrisy of the highest kind
looking only from the economic point
of view, kon pobre ug way grado, they look
  at you like manure.

Kon mamenpal ka or magnetpal, libakon kay nangitag dollar.
Aw, come'n now, nobody's gonna pay their bills, but
   the person herself.
Mga libakera, himantayon, mga dila nag lit-ad lit-ad
  morag bitin tumotundok.

Ignore them. Flap your wings while young and
able to fly to look for a greener pasture to graze
mentras wala pa mangapangag ug mangataltag
ang mga ngipon.

I'm glad I did, my Spaniard-American hubby is just
wonderful.
If I have to do it again, I will still do the same.

Absolutely, it's dangerous
the sudden surge of anger for example
will cause your blood vessels to constrict
making your circulation difficult to keep
going, if you already had plaque in your
linings and hypertensive, you just increase
the risk of making  your heart to work very
hard, you are heading for trouble.

smile  :D, it takes only  a few muscles to do

Though the title is a stereo-type, tunnel vision
in categorizing  all Filipinas that  are married to
foreigners, remind you that for every rule
  there's always an exception.

Everybody have their own reasons; in my case
nga pinoy grabe ko nga pagka in love niya gani
ni attempt ko ug hikog pagbuwag namo
kay nakakita siyag laing mahal. Pulos mga
palikero, pasikat kinsay pinakadaghan ug uyab,
  walay mga batikun...aw kasingkasing diay.

Then I realized, alkanse ko, siya malipayon sa

I closed my ears and changed my heart, basin kon
sa foreigner  makakita kog tinood magmahal nako
and I was succesful: I have a good career, a
man that loves me and most of all I'm here in
a greener pasture as they say, so pinays...you go

My husband says that, he could never ask for
another pinay; since I'm a Registered nurse,
  Accounting degree from the Philippines,
   a cook, a gardener and a dressmaker.
