i love the Virgin Mary miss islander. i dont want HER to be made fun of. so many religions discredit our Blessed Mother. they do not honor HER. they say SHE is of no account. you have to pray directly to JESUS.
because SHE cannot do anything. this is how other religions see our Mother Mary.

SHE is the Mother of JESUS. You mock HER, you mock JESUS.

hubagbohol would do anything so his fans will adore him. including mocking the Blessed Mother. to show his sharp wit.  profanity is crossing the line. for this he will be punished. i will be the instrument for the punishment.

vengeance is the Lord's, not for mortal men. i am no longer a man.  i have already sold my soul to the devil. i will exact vengeance

i respect all religions. but when someone mocks the VIRGIN MARY para lang mo sikat, i will become the punisher

Oublier ces heures

dedicated to the internet love of my life miss isla mendoza

If you go away on this summer day
Then you might as well take the sun away
All the birds that flew in the summer sky
When our love was new and our hearts were high
When the day was young and the night was long
And the moon stood still for the night bird's song

If you go away, if you go away, if you go away

But if you stay, I'll make you a day
Like no day has been or will be again
We'll sail on the sun, we'll ride on the rain
We'll talk to the trees and worship the wind
Then if you go, I'll understand
Leave me just enough love to hold in my hand

If you go away, If you go away, If you go away

But if you stay, I'll make you a night
Like no night has been or will be again
I'll sail on your smile, I'll ride on your touch
I'll talk to your eyes, that I love so much
Then if you go, I'll understand
Leave me just enough love to hold in my hand

If you go away, if you go away, if you go away

If you go away, as I know you must
There'll be nothing left in this world to trust
Just an empty room, full of empty space
Like the empty look I see on your face
Oh, I'd have been the shadow of your shadow
If it might have kept me by your side

If you go away, if you go away, if you go away

[spoken] Please don't go away!

This is nothing new. A former pro wrestler recalled (rather hazily) a 1997 flight in which he blacked out from booze and woke up in a jail cell in Anchorage, Alaska. The charge: urinating on a flight attendant. We understand he has since conquered his demons.

It's enough to make one nostalgic for "bad passengers" of yesteryear, like the inebriated woman who, when she was cut off by United flight attendants, started in on the lavatory's supply of hand-sanitizer (yes, some of these products contain alcohol). But at least there was no mess in the aisle.

Speaking of which, I have to take issue with Esquire's article, How to Drink on an Airplane, which states, "The window seat is the preferred drinking seat." I think the rest of us prefer to see drinking passengers on the aisle, as close to the lavatories as possible.

We are made in the image and likeness of God. Our soul magnifies the magnificence of God. We are God’s work of art.  Accept yourself, none of us as humans are perfect.  We are of value.

Consider the story of the $100 bill -
As a brand new $100 bill, it is worth $100.
As a crumpled old $100 bill, it is still worth $100.

Your value is never diminished, no matter if you have sinned or if people have hurt your feelings.

in response to a puzzle for Bay Tigs, i will give you another puzzle. i invite all the analysts and bright heads of tbnation to analyze everything i say now. it is an estorlong. as usual, i will give you a clue so you will know if it is true or false.

i have come a long way. from being a very poor boy to a moderately well off dirty old man. i thank the LORD for all the graces i have received. he answered all my prayers. i am now living what was once an impossible dream.

we live in a changing world where everything is in chaos. to protect myself, i have to get all the information that i can. this is the way of the rich.  a long time ago i got a satellite dish to track news from all around the world. i still have it because i am a keeper. you have seen pictures of my old VHS tapes. i have a whole warehouse.

we now live in a world of computers. the world cannot run without them. the smart phone in your hands hold more power than the 1st computer which was as large as the room where it was put in.

in my cottage in florida, the 1st house i bought when i left new york, i say cottage because i own so many houses now, are 3 satellite dishes. one is my old satellite dish which i keep for the memories. the 2nd one
is for directTV hi def. the 3rd connects to bloomberg terminals which, as of the latest count is more than 320,000.

just imagine the power of 320,000 computers which i can access. bloomberg can track a cargo ship or any other ship in the vast oceans of the world. tracking a permanent non moving location in the philippines is child's play. .

on august 17, the game begins. i am the hunter, you will be the prey. >:(

And we'll remain friends

Look out for yourself
Should be the rule
Just give your heart and your love, to whom ever you love
Don't you be a fool

Baby why stop and cling, to some fading thing

So if you can't forget

A name you've probably never heard is making devices better than you may think

The name "OPPO" probably doesn't come to mind when thinking of which phone to buy next, but the Chinese manufacturer is working hard to try and change that. Best known for making high quality Blu-Ray players and various other consumer electronics, the company has only dabbled in phones previously. But with an aggressive strategy of building high-end devices and selling direct to customers with some impressive prices, the components are all there to make at least a little splash in the market. The Find 5 is OPPO's latest attempt at a device that on paper has all of the line items to make a great phone.

But making smart phones is a difficult business to get into, and selling high-end unlocked handsets is the toughest area to aim for. Does OPPO have what it takes to branch out from making other consumer electronics and take a meaningful foothold with consumers? It certainly has some things going for it.

It will be hard for you to get hold of this phone. I got it through my chinese connection.

Hey, have you been watching the news?
The entire world is talking about the leaked documents -- and the interview with heroic whistleblower Edward Snowden -- that show definitive proof that the U.S. Government has been using the Internet to watch, record, and track huge numbers of innocent people from every corner of the globe. They have our phone calls, know where we are, and what we'll be doing.
It’s illegal. It’s unconstitutional. And it’s just plain wrong.
The revelations about the National Security Agency -- the secret courts, gag orders, mass untargeted wiretapping, monitoring of the Internet -- read more like a dystopian novel than real news headlines.
Obama is defending the program. The companies are denying knowledge of it. There’s so much we still don’t know about the extent of the government’s unconstitutional intrusions into our lives.
That’s why we need a full investigation. These leaks have sparked national outrage and we have this one chance to turn that anger into action and demand that Congress publicly investigate the NSA’s illegal spying operations.

Edward Snowden: the whistleblower behind the NSA surveillance revelations
The 29-year-old source behind the biggest intelligence leak in the NSA's history explains his motives, his uncertain future and why he never intended on hiding in the shadows

Glenn Greenwald, Ewen MacAskill and Laura Poitras in Hong Kong
The Guardian, Sunday 9 June 2013

Link to video: NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden: 'I don't want to live in a society that does these sort of things'
The individual responsible for one of the most significant leaks in US political history is Edward Snowden, a 29-year-old former technical assistant for the CIA and current employee of the defence contractor Booz Allen Hamilton. Snowden has been working at the National Security Agency for the last four years as an employee of various outside contractors, including Booz Allen and Dell.

The Guardian, after several days of interviews, is revealing his identity at his request. From the moment he decided to disclose numerous top-secret documents to the public, he was determined not to opt for the protection of anonymity. "I have no intention of hiding who I am because I know I have done nothing wrong," he said.

Snowden will go down in history as one of America's most consequential whistleblowers, alongside Daniel Ellsberg and Bradley Manning. He is responsible for handing over material from one of the world's most secretive organisations â€" the NSA.

In a note accompanying the first set of documents he provided, he wrote: "I understand that I will be made to suffer for my actions," but "I will be satisfied if the federation of secret law, unequal pardon and irresistible executive powers that rule the world that I love are revealed even for an instant."

Despite his determination to be publicly unveiled, he repeatedly insisted that he wants to avoid the media spotlight. "I don't want public attention because I don't want the story to be about me. I want it to be about what the US government is doing."

He does not fear the consequences of going public, he said, only that doing so will distract attention from the issues raised by his disclosures. "I know the media likes to personalise political debates, and I know the government will demonise me."

Despite these fears, he remained hopeful his outing will not divert attention from the substance of his disclosures. "I really want the focus to be on these documents and the debate which I hope this will trigger among citizens around the globe about what kind of world we want to live in." He added: "My sole motive is to inform the public as to that which is done in their name and that which is done against them."

He has had "a very comfortable life" that included a salary of roughly $200,000, a girlfriend with whom he shared a home in Hawaii, a stable career, and a family he loves. "I'm willing to sacrifice all of that because I can't in good conscience allow the US government to destroy privacy, internet freedom and basic liberties for people around the world with this massive surveillance machine they're secretly building."

Four weeks ago, Edward Snowden lived a comfortable life in Hawaii with his girlfriend making six figures as a contractor for the NSA.  Now,  he's given that all up, facing exile, jail and even assassination to expose the U.S. government's spying programs and save democracy, becoming one of the biggest whistleblowers in American history.

He is 29.

This is for our USA forumers

A leaked document proves that the US government is tracking call information and caller location for every American who uses Verizon. And probably every other carrier as well.
The top secret court ruling -- obtained by The Guardian --  shows that the NSA forced Verizon to hand over the records of every single customer’s phone calls “on an ongoing, daily basis.” Sounds like dystopian sci-fi? Read the ruling for yourself, it’s only 3 pages.
This confirms what we and other digital rights organizations have been saying for years: the U.S. Government’s domestic surveillance programs are completely out of control.
Help us send a message so strong it can’t be ignored. This indiscriminate spying on innocent Americans must stop immediately, and those responsible should be prosecuted for violating the Constitution.
The Obama administration responded this morning, saying it’s a tool to monitor “suspected terrorists”.  But they weren’t monitoring terrorists; they were monitoring every Verizon customer and--most likely--every single American with a cellphone.
This new revelation could really be the last straw, the thing that grabs the public’s attention and catalyzes a new movement for protecting our Constitutional rights online.  But tons of people still haven’t even heard the news.

Can you share this page with everyone you know?

Obama is your hero. Whatever I said against him during the last election you turned around. I have been campaigning against him as far as I can remember. The future I have foreseen is coming true.

The revelations about the extent of government surveillance continue to come.  The former Chief of Security at Facebook (who's supposed to be responsible for protecting your privacy) now works for the NSA, and Skype apparently assembled a top secret internal team to work specifically on giving our information to law enforcement. There's still so much we don't know about what the government is collecting on all of us.

Keep on posting so I will know more about you. Thanks.

The Constitution says government can't spy on us-- not without suspicion. But now, thousands of government employees at the NSA and other agencies track our phones and read our emails.

I can't track your phone and read your emails. But most definitely, I can see you when the games begin on Aug. 17. GOOGLE EARTH covers the whole world.

I want you to know me very intimately. Because it will give you more chances of winning. Because I know you don't have any skill in the art of war. It will make the game more interesting. 8)

"When the enemy is relaxed, make them toil.   When full, starve them.   When settled, make them move."

"In conflict, straightforward actions generally lead to engagement, surprising actions generally lead to victory."

"Thus those skilled in war subdue the enemy's army without battle .... They conquer by strategy."

"Know the enemy and know yourself; in a hundred battles you will never be in peril. When you are ignorant of the enemy, but know yourself, your chances of winning or losing are equal. If ignorant both of your enemy and yourself, you are certain in every battle to be in peril."

"In war, numbers alone confer no advantage."

"To ... not prepare is the greatest of crimes; to be prepared beforehand for any contingency is the greatest of virtues."

"What is of the greatest importance in war is extraordinary speed: One cannot afford to neglect opportunity."

"The general must be first in the toils and fatigues of the army. In the heat of summer he does not spread his parasol, nor in the cold of winter don thick clothing ... . He waits until the army's wells have been dug and only then drinks; until the army's food is cooked before he eats; until the army's fortifications have been completed, to shelter himself."

"A sovereign of high character and intelligence must be able to know the right man, should place the responsibility on him, and expect results."

"If an enemy has alliances, the problem is grave and the enemy's position strong; if he has no alliances, the problem is minor and the enemy's position weak."

The Great Continental Train Wreck
North America and Europe collided head-on.
This continental smashup resulted in the raising of the Appalachian Range. Steady erosion of these bare, newly uplifted mountains yielded great volumes of sediment, which were deposited in vast lowlands and shallow seas nearby.
In the process, the mudâ€"that organic road kill on the seabedâ€"became buried under incalculable millions of tons of debris and minerals. The site of modern-day Pittsburgh, geologists estimate, was entombed under 16,000 feet of sediment. Down below it was literally…
A Geological Pressure Cooker
Under extreme temperature and pressure created by the sheer weight of the sediment, the mud began to cook.
As this hodgepodge stewed beneath the earth, the organic matterâ€"the green slimeâ€"began to break down. Small pores, like air bubbles, formed in the hot mud. Think of Swiss cheese, except instead of air, the bubbles were filled with methane.
In other words, natural gas.
Another few eons passed and the sediment compressed into rockâ€"black shale. But the pores, or bubbles if you prefer, remained.
And so did the natural gas trapped inside the pores. You could say it just sat there waitingâ€"for hundreds of millions of years.
