Hi Scott!

We thank you so much for the wonderful photos. We had a photos  taken outside with the World Vision Staffs and the pretty 7 years old girl with her Family.  We spent there our lunch and an afternoon break enjoying/watching the wonderful sorroundings.  What a breathtaking!

We stayed for 3 overnights in Pongos Hotel in the main City, near the WVO for brief  orientation and a morning acquaintances with the child and her Family.  We enjoyed our stay even though it did rain often times in that day.

You make me feel.....am getting homesick!

Oh, I see. I stand corrected :)

At any rate, it was a stay well worth it. :)

Very nice photos!  Thanks

Scott, where are those shots were you took in Bohol Tropics? I mean, at the table? Did you also phtographed that small "tiki" which was crawling in my shoulder bag?

We've been here  year 2005 for a "despidida dinner" sponsored by my younger sister....the food really excellent and the price too! Bohol Bee Farm is really much worthy for a visit.  Reasonable room rates, anyway.  What a secluded place for honeymooners.  Scott, nagpareserba kana didto?

Thank you Ms Bambs

Ms Bambs, the cd (that contains the photos) is still in Bohol. I'll get it this weekend. Mouli man ko. Will post it the soonest...

Pareserba pa ko next century. hahahah

Beautiful!!!!

How we can go there? Is there a direct ship/or boat sailing from Tagb? How many hours to travel?  It was always on mind to go there instead of just staying most of the time in Bohol. My husband think it is dangerous to be there... Maybe next year!

Miss Bambs, either you take the quickest route by plane or boat nga Cebu-Camiguin Asian Spirit or Shuttle Ferry

or via CDO or Nasipit from Jagna.

Welcome to Paradise~
The feeling of being a part of The Survivor series, with a deserted beach and an abandoned nipa hut. BLUE LAGOON? Its the emotion that this lovely lil paradise evoke (less the trees kay wala jud bisag usa ka punuan)

You can get around the island in half a day lang. So many places of interests.

Don't forget to bring home the PASTILLES!!!!!  yum yum yum!

I certainly look forward to a collaborative work, if possible, pohon. I used to edit a travel magazine in Tokyo. I thought overseas Boholanos should have a nice coffeetable book of their hometown to show to their friends, and then we can contribute to Bohol's tourism. Maybe we can get funding from DOT... Just a thought.

Oh I see. That would be awesome Sir. Amazing! One day....pohon when everything is in place.

Mao na akong goal puhon, kung hatagan pa ko ug chance ni Lord maka suroy sa Bohol someday.

Sa Cebu, nalibot na pud na nimo? What's your favorite place diha?

It will take you a week, perhaps, to go around all towns of Bohol. Go for a Bohol tour soon.

Sa Cebu, Usa na lang ka lungsod wala nako maadtui. Aloguinsan.

I love the South of Cebu the most. Very distinct iyang character. With old churches, beautiful beaches, marine sanctuaries, islets, delicacies, sunset, old houses, waterfalls, vegetable plantation and Cebu's highest peak.

It must be comforting to have them near you at night. Keeps the bad vibes away.

I miss my lola's San Antonio de Padua, wish I had it with me right now.

In so many ways, yes. Sa kilid, naa say wooden Ifugao harvest god ug usa ka buntis nga anito. hahhaa
I find pregnant women sexy. One of my dream book project though is to shoot local pregnant women, in nude, for a coffeetable book.

Taga Sagbayan ko, land of the NPA.

Ikaw, asa ka sa Bojol?

Nindot btaw pud ang weather sa Florida, save for the fact that it gets too hot in the summer (must be what hell feels like), and of course, that they get hit by hurricanes once in a while.

Bahin pud sa lotto, tigtaya ba pud ka? Lisod raba maka jackpot kung dili mo taya.

I see. Nindot sa Sagbayan oist. Madungawan na ang Cebu. Malili kung hapit na mudunggu ang barko sa Tubigon.

re: lotto. wa pa jud ko kasuway ana. raffle nuon. kanang first prize electric fan or multicab. heheheheh

I was raised in Pilar until sixth grade, the rest transit na between Tagbilaran and Cebu, and for a while, Manila.

Kinsa nga santo? I hope makakita ko sa picture niya one day.

when the natural light in my room is favorable. it's actually the holy family. the only size  I like nga available. though I was looking for St. Ignatius, St. Augustine or Our Lady of Guadalupe :)

anyhow, I got the calling card of the owner kay just in case, pwede daw mo order, custom-made.
lingaw ra

#371
pwede sad tig hawid sa clapper sa Amazing Race. hahhaha

Uyyy, I hope that Florida plan goes through. You do strike me as a Miami Beach kind of guy.

With regards to that European backpacking panganduy, I suggest mo lansar ka sa ato pagka politiko.

Our politicians are accomplished globe-trotters, and the best thing about it is: they don't have to shell out a dime. They make other people pay for it.

hahahaha. life's a beach jud!
syalan ra ng Miami ug Southbeach.
K of C na lang, luyo sa Ramiro, unahan sa JJ's

lami jud ang Florida for the weather ba. dili na lang nang politics. for the most part, reclusive ra ko nga tawo para ana nga career. pang world Peace! yes. world peace ala Mahatma Gandhi.

lotto siguro, basin naa pay purohan nga gamating

by the way, asa imong hometown sa Republic of Bohol?

Hehe

What's on your bedside table, Scott?

(tug-an sa tinuod ha)

the first of this thread (as shown above) and a heap of all other books. hahaha

what else? Oh, yea! the santo nga gikulit gikan sa old (read: antique nga tugas) railway track sa sugar plantation up north.
naa pa juy katangag nga haskang dakua nga lansang (morag kumagku ka dak-a). Napalit naku sa Christmas bazaar-night market last year at Php300.00 pesos. A steal already.

Naa ko sa Georgia, Scott.

Hmn. A Bol-anon who lives in Cebu. You're living the good life, Scott.

With regards to embalming, don't knock it 'til you've tried it. (sakto ba na?)

Good life, yes. Good money? That's another story. hahahah
I can't start my European backpack nga panganduy kung diri lang magkayud. Phewww!

My friends and I are planning to answer the job calls for a school district in Florida--for the good pay and the good weather. hahaha
I hope mubugwak unya ang grasya. hahhaha

land of milk and honey ko scott, down south pero ibabaw sa florida

ok btaw siguro ni nga mag embalmer sa US or Canada, coz funeral directors (and even ordinary embalmers) make good money

but as far as I know, in the US, one need's 2 yrs of school before maka kuha license,

I just don't know if they honor Philippine education though

murag wala pa man siguro equivalency in place right now

asa ka naka base Scott?

I see. Southeast?
asa nga state?

I'm Cebu-based.

Embalming is not for me.

#377
check. by the way, asa imong base?

You haven't unveiled any poetic photos lately. I miss those.

The grand prize winner, methinks. My colleague mentioned in passing that the winner is from Inabanga. I presume it's Jafet C. Vistal since the family name is lumad didto.

@Sigbin, ig unsa mo aning composer?

Featuring 82 poems by 29 of the Philippines’ best young poets in English.

From the Introduction: By subtitling this collection “An Anthology of Philippine Postcolonial Poetry, this is precisely what I wish to editorially endorse, what I wish the prospective reader (local or translocal) to remember, what I intend to announce at the outset: these poems, like the rest of Philippine literature in English, will in fact be largely incomprehensible when decontextualized from the histories that engendered themâ€"particularly the violent histories of colonization that the Philippines, as a geopolitical and indeed national reality, has endured.
