:o Question...What the f**K is going on this Holyweek for two media men that belong to the same media outlet here?

Answer...It is not going to be the electricity that was cutt off allegedly by the mayor of Tagbilaran City!

I received words from two media men working at the same outlet saying their electricity was shut off at at 10AM in the morning Tuesday morning. The two are living in Capitol valley near to Dao Diamond. The two said that they do not have any debts with the electric company to have had their power sut off yesterday morning.

Both TBN anchorman Jerry Pabe and Engineer Jerry cajes from DYRD said that a letter was sent to a person at BLCI instructing that both of their houses were to be shut off from electricity at 10AM the following day.

They both did not say why? But Jerry Pabe is currently not on board at the station on air as he is campaigning for Tagbilaran city councilor.

Eng. Cajes's wife had spoke to me saying that her children are at home sitting in the dark. I could only do what a good freind would do in this sittuation and that was to offer them a safe place to stay untill things were settled. They chose to stay at their blackened out home instead.

Tuesday night Pabe showed up to hand out the donations to needy indigenant persons during his show that is now being anchored by Joe Ligan and after the station went off air Pabe folded his arms a top the table and put his head down into his arms as if his body expression and facail expression was trying to say "What is going on?"

I had later in the evening spoke with Rey Blanco after his program was done airing at DYTR who use to be Jerry's partner on TBN. Now Blanco is working at the home radio station of Mayor Lim's at station DYTR having a program just opposite of TBN.

TBN is a public service program and is station produced.

Whe I confronted with Blanco regarding if the city mayor Dan Lim is responsible for the electric being shut off on Eng. Cajes and Anchorman Pabe he told me it may be true?

I then continued to ask Blanco why would mayor Dan Lim allegedly do such a thing by sending a letter to Bohol Light Company Inc. (BLCI) to have the power shut off on these men and their families?

Blanco repleid that Mayor Lim was the one who helped Pabe with the begining of the election, then Blanco said Pabe was heard by people all over Tagbilaran City dogging Mayor Lim?

Blanco went on to say that the reason why Mayor knows a lot of what is going on at DYRD/Chronicle is because there are people in the FM/AM side who report to the mayor what are the things happening in the station and its outlet.

Blanco said he plans to make a lawsuit on a known texter who he said is from DYRD who had sent him a text threat during his program Tuesday night. He offered for me to take a look at the text inside the studio at DYTR.

The Bohol Chronicle newspaper will have a banner story on what happened to Anchorman Jerry Pabe and Eng. Jerry cajes regarding the alleged order from Tagbilaran city Mayor Dan Lim who allegedly ordered BLCI by letter to have both men's electicity shut off.

I told both Anchorman Jerry Pabe and Anchorman Rey Blanco that I would be posting this as said to me by both of them.

LGU Philippines / Re: MORE DECEPTION DETAILS EXPOSED
March 31, 2010, 02:40:37 AM
I am amazed the people here complain if OFW's are being treated unfairly in the worst of conditions and I am sad to see the people run to this Congressman for help when in times of medical needs.

I but most of all I should not be amazed that the one who he has handed over monies to are the same people in need who could not help themselv's  and all the times Chatto had to travel abroad to save Filipina women from pitiful sittuations from bad over seas employer's and these people will stab Chatto in the back after all the good things he has done to help people in Bohol. (Now that's Bohol pride!).

You people during campaign never seist to amaze me.

lTonight I told a freind it is better to concentrate on the positive aspects of people versus the negative issues.

If you do not or did not like his job prformance as a congressman then your just as much to blame as you as his supporter and a tax payyer have the right to comment to him in person and not behind his back like how it is being done now as a surprize gotch yah!

If you did not feel good about what he did or how he responded as a congressman for whatever issue then y did you not say someothing then? Maybe you could of suggested some alternative ways to handle sittuations but no instead you want to use the time to get him and try to tear him down for trying to become a governor?

You all piss and moan and whind and grind about the same issues over and over marug ug broken CD's!

But during the time of the improper action you all sit in silence as if hadlok and worreid to speak but throw in some money and then you will speak now!.....(some media men).

One media who is helping Herrera ran off fast tonight when I said "Are you rich now from making money from Herrera as his media man?" What pisses me off further these media guys are making a lot off of these candidtes and are biased only for the money. Media is not to be biased and is to be straight down the middle and fair whe reporting.

Oh never mind this is Philippines what rules or laws are ever implimentad here? None that I can recall!

Break the rules, break the laws, and insult the minds of those who have ever treid to help anyone here!

Oh yea if you cannot do the good as others you sure do a fine job of trying to destroy those who want to make a the environment a better place to be but.......then never mind about new and better change because you all have energy to waste on talking about the same old thing over and over again!

What a monotonous headache it truly is!

1.) Well now a days you could get that ribbon/medal they charge the child P30 if they want to have a medal they earned but yet they need to be the one to buy what they have earned.

2.) Sure they want the kids to do the cleaning of the grounds, the gardening and laborous jobs from 7 untill 5pm instead of spending money to hire a janitor and grounds person...looy ang student. I think enough hard lessons and projects are pushed on them as it is and they are given plenty homework and come home tired and always asking mom and dad money for projects. This has become a complaint of students and parents who cannot afford barely to put enough food on the table as it is.

They preach about child labor laws but yet they have kids in clean school uniforms doing dirty work?

Why not hire a person to maintain the school grounds the classrooms and keep things compfortable for the students and allow them to want to learn in a neat clean kept place?

Oh and that bellybean thing has me laughing hysterically!!!

Participation is important as well as the developing the right personality to from the thing that your involved with.

At least the kids in the states are not looking at foreigners in America and shouting at you "GIVE ME MONEY!" jeez that is so annoying to have that being yelled at you all the time.

Admit it America has soap in the bathrooms toilet seat protectors and toilet paper and does not charge you to use the facility while your a customer.

Often people in states drive with obedeince and courtesy and with financail responibility not like in Philippines they drive with-out care towards others and to top it off they caannot pay for a medical bill or a funneral service if they have hurt you or killed you on the road as they are driving reckless here!

You must know me when you call me a "BELLYBEAN"? Seriousely I do not deny it does fit me well.

I wish i knew your real name not the one you hide behind, I may have a different ID also but some know who I am by my always bold personality.

At least not a bitch personality....bwahehehehe!!

And also you take care and have a Happy Week! and a Happy Easter!!! :D

Dear Blue Angel,

Thank God!
Our women and men can sit together in drink and song and in conversation as one and everyone knows how to conversate together and is respected for what is said and many do not sit submissive as if they have no right to speak, smile or laugh. The women do not beg their men to go home especailly when he is enjoying with freinds and family during rare times together.

Funerals I try to avoid as I want to remember my freinds and relatives alive and since I have been here for sometime I have missed my dads funeral , my grandfathers funeral and my best freinds funeral.

Weddings you seen one you have seen them all. and I do not attend any weddings here or abroad when a freind gets marreid after getting pregnant. Back in the days woman did not make having a baby as pre-requisite to marry.
Neither did men but it seems more and more that you have to have a buntis for sure in order that the man will marry. he does not want a woman if she is unable to bare his fruit.
Sorry reality check not all women can have babies, and not all men produce enough sperm to fertilize an egg.

My holidays are spent with my freinds back home not always with my family, and my freinds are welcome to spend the holidays with my family.

Most my life even while growing up I saddled my own horse if I wanted to ride......

I did not make others feel guilty if they did not attend family holidays and events that they were invited too.

I think for the past 28 years I have not spent Xmas at home. and same with Thanksgiving or other holidays.

I have given my presents and helped in the family business during the holidays and since I see them everyday when I am back home spending the holidays away from them it is my time to get away and vacation as the business is closed for Thanksgiving, Xmas and Easter, meaning I am far away out of town enjoying with freinds. And no need to worry about the families business while I am away because it is closed for the holiday. Here business is open on holidays and for religeous holidays business's are closed. (Holyweek and All Souls day) in States we do not treat those holidays like they do here.

We have Easter Sunday Thanksgiving and Christmas in where we are closed down for the entire day.

I am a loner and enjoy doing things alone some people do not want be around others always some people do enjoy what is known as privacy and a peace of mind and not having to put up everyone getting into each others business.

I notice here and hear as well the stories that so and so family member says his kids are better than mine kind of storeis. I always feel like Filipino freinds or families want to see who can out do one another by being better then the other, no matter how much they hurt a freind or family member by always comparing. Look at the school medal system here and look at the parents who have those medals as the only thing decorating their walls as if it seems they do not want you to see any other decoratations. They just put it on the wall and leave it there for a way to boast with-out saying anything.

We do not do the medal thing back home in the states. It is so belittling to those students who are not as bright. Simple grades are handed out and a certificate is given if your in a play a talent show, a school safety patrol, but not because of your behavior or because you were having the best grades.

Awards in schools in states are given on student participation not on performance.

I normally do not attend a party unless I am acquianted with the persons who are inviting me.

I am just responding to your generalized statement. I do not go with the flow when most persons feathers are colored black and white I see my feathers as colored.

I do not consider myself as odd or weird I am straight to the point, do not lie or play games and find my own things to talk about.

I do my best to describe the way of life that is happening around me.

I am open, and I am a good listener if what is being said makes sense and the person saying it has done some personal observation on their own what he/she is talking about. I'm also not one who is sucessable (spelling?) to gossip when I hear it. I know a lot of people here are and it is not my bag. Many would rather burn you before they get to know you by the cruel words said by those who never know the real you.

And most important saying thank you when the time is right.

Simple polite things mean a lot.

That is where I stand I have a mind of my own and do not need to be pursuaded by being in a big group doing things together. I love my independance. I love my freedom to be me and not that of one who has a cloned personality!

I beleive women and men should both be treated equally.

If your being a jerk I would tell you if your neat person I would also tell you your neat!

I am a simple person. Not a push button!

I remember the last election held nationaly as well as locally. and the same rule applies by the same mayor as before who is running now and back then.

No signs are allowed to be hung in Tagbilaran for candidates but I do see Vice Governor Herrera signs being posted since way before the local election kicked off and I did see the campaign posters of his own and his truly who has set his own rules in his own city on no campaign posters with-in the city plastered in the past with-ininside the city.

Most posters supporting for LGU's running for Tagbilaran councilor are not allowed inside the city instead they are placed with outsided boundareis near to the city.

I am sure in the coming days those who the city mayor likes or wants to endorse will be the exceptions to break the rules and be able to bare their signs with-in the city....How unfair is that!

I have heard some storeis coming from one media who is running for city office that cityhall wants him to dsconnect his election.

How rude in my eyes as I am one who strongly beleives that everyone has the right to be elected to office and to run and manage a fair, safe and honest campaign.

I also notice that laborers will post up signs in front of peoples houses making it look like the house behind the tree with the poster is the one supporting that particular candidato when instead the laborers did not bother to ask permission to hang the sign in front of the persons house or not!

Some local candidates in Bohol have a poster tacked onto every tree along the roads.

Some candidates had signs up other than Vice Governor before the allowed local campaig started and these people would not post up signs before when it was years of with-out elections I think what a sneaky way to get your face to be recognized and seen before the campaign kiks off!!!

I have many freinds who are running for positions and I love them all and wish them all the best of luck despite some campaign bloobers and most important we can wish for them to have a safe campaign and election period.

#306
Many things unfortunantly come to either a slow down or to a stop when the campaign season is in full swing.

Due to everyone spendng money on the campaign, or freinds of electorats are helping their candidate win by helping out in the campaign.

Traveling around during the campaign time is not advisable for all, I like to stay in my familiar area during elections. I know despite a few problems here Bohol over-all is still a fairly safe place to live.

Information passed last week was that the alleged rapist/homicide suspect had been captured and shot dead.

Tonight Joe Ligan an anchorman filling in for regular veteran anchorman Jerry Pabe on TBN on the AM dial of RADYO DYRD while he is campaigning, had allowed TBN program followers to listen to the police confirm live on air that the reports saying that the killing of the alleged suspect are not true.

He is still at large, he is not working and he has plenty of time to move around hide or possibly look for other victims.

Anyone living in Bohol please note the posted picture in this website and do your best to be vigilant.

He is still very much alive.

Quote from Blue Angel; "Boholanos are like a long-grained lumber  w/c is known to withstand storms,
to hold together, to hold its own, and to advance, regardless."

Yea I know your right people here often go by two together when going to a public bathroom....(Weird)!!!

Stay together and go together.....bwahahahaha!

How nice and good of the Singaporean police authoriteis to do an investigation of an outsider coming into their country who might be the victim of a possible murder.

One outsider from the UK coming into Philippines was stabbed 23 times and there was not an iota of any deep investigation done on his aledged prepetrators..... they may have one of the persons involved in custody but.....

It is like I have been saying all along other countries authoriteis will do a proper investigation with-out having to see anyone pull out money from their pockets. But in Philippines everything stops if no case is filed and no investigation is done and no money has echanged hands.

Why should these other countreis investigate Philippine persons who were killed while visiting in their country we owe them in the same way how they treat our foreigners who are killed as they do not do the same here unless they see money from the victims families/freinds pockets to hire an investigator and then file a case.

It is like one NAPLCOM ATTY. had once told me and a freind in his CEBU office before  "IF things happen to outsiderss here, the peope here are not going to pay the same amount of attention with it, unless if it were one of their own country felowwmen here."

"Bull s***! Do you really think Boholanos and the police are that stupid as you insinuated? I'm beginning to wonder.... maybe, just maybe, you're this guy you're talking about and going around raping people (with your ****ty news). I don't even know if you are who you said you are. If you're really in Bohol, get real... not virtual. You're full of ****, you know that? And I'm tired of your f*c*n* s***. You heard me, get real!!!" (CHICOGON).

No I am not full of bulshit as you have insinuated in here. You need to do your homework or listen to either DYTR or DYRD on what are the latest things happenings with this person.

Even I was annoyed when someone called into a popular radio show asking why the police do not go after him. the police answered as of the broadcast that they do not have a court order to go after him.

I do recall many of you in here had said a man is innocent untill proven guilty.

I find many laws here to be quit disturbing in how they work especailly in these type of sittuations.

Stop getting on my case everyone. I do not see anyone else giving a crap to write and inform you on what is going on.

They are all giving attention to the same old same old politics as Philippines in now into the full swing of campaigning both nationally and locally.

Have a nice weekend everyone.

I just report it the way how it happens by Filipino here.

I am real so learn how to deal with it. As real as they get and it gets me into trouble for being straight to the point. Here telling the truth is a bad thing to do instead telling a lie or back stabbing makes you a winner if your the one who is doing such things against others. I am the one always encouraging others to do better and giving compliment or good advise and even some people have a hard time accepting that. What is wrong with people in handling what is real deal? It is beyond me...

It is funny to see those "Be honest when others are not" painted on the walls here! For foreigners the first thing we think when we read it is "Oh do they have a problem with catching people lie often in this place? Why is a conservative island of the Philippines the only place in the world to have such quotes posted on their city walls along the streets for all to read?

Oh come on get real yourself! Please do not treat me so rudely. I am honest in telling it the way it is happening here.

Sorry if it makes you upset it makes me upset also.

I think many people ask assistance from him in life and death sittuations and he usually helps them out. I think getting assistance from someone who can help make life more safe and happier is more important then giving a old diabetic a Birthday cake....bwa ha ha ha! (No names to mention).

Obituary / Re: My BFF passed away
March 27, 2010, 01:14:29 AM
She was young to pass away. There are so many ways this can be detected and taken care of for a breast cancer death not to happen.

Why did it go this far as in having to have killed her?

Women who are reading this, breast cancer is curable if detected early enough.

Most often a breast will be removed to save a life or put the cancer into remission.

Self at home breast exams can be given as we are educated on this in Junior high and high school in the states as part of our reproductive health class.

Mammograms are done in many hospitals around the world and they may not be the most compfortable thing to have done but they do have an approved purpose.

Birth control pills also prevent breast cancer, and heart diseaes, and uterine cancers as well.

There are many preventives to eliminating breast cancer from spreading. Let this sudden passing away be a reminder to always do self breast exams for cancer and to have regular pap smears with your gynecologist.

Never be afraid to ask your doctor questions regarding your health and what he would reccomend for your own physical body.

Anyone with a history of cancer in their family should be checked one-two times with-in a year.

Anna I know how you feel I lost my best friend when I was here, I had heard the news from my aunt back in the states over the fone. I always think about our fun together and realize when I go back to states she is not there for me to share my stories with.

What I do have is something that can never be changed or forgotten and that is the fond memories of being with her!

Light a candle and say a prayer for her and tell her you love her and always will.

ingat!

Condolensces to her family and young children.

Mike thank you for posting legitimate news handled in the way it should be accordingly.

Some people in here lately find some pretty serious things happening as if it were a joke.

Maybe someday the same will happen to someone they know and God forbid if we laugh at them when it does happen.

There is a time to joke and there is a time to be a bitch or a**.

Tagbilaran City, Bohol (Philippines), An earthquake was centered off of Tagbilaran City at 7:44pm March 26th, lasting about 10 seconds.

Other parts of Bohol had also felt the earthquake but with lower Richter Scale (Feild box) measurements.

I was not aware he was the chef at the well known Italian resaurant owned by Cesar.

I hear they use real Italian cheeses on their foods!

Next time in Manila I am planning to try the place.

Whatever the reason for his death may he rest in peace!

BOL-aonon,

Thanks for the curiousity regarding the PROVINCAIL TOURISM POLICE CHIEF.

He was stationed in Panglao and is now taking on another position at Camp Dagohoy.

Ace Durano is tourism secretary of Philippines exacto jyud.

I think if anyone ever wanted to ask him how much foreigner dollars have helped out here in the Philippines should ask this guy, regardless if your an OFW making money abroad or marreid to a foreigner over seas or a tourist the foreigners have helped this country with overseas dollars for a long time paranoid as they maybe or not!

How ironic this is a post made from one of my post regarding the children sexualy abused.

But people in there who are threading are not taking it seriousley. Instead they want to insult my grammar and what not.

To them that is more important then the intended message.

As of last night and the other past nights he has been being observed moving from one place to another away from the small towns of Antequera in where he has killed two children after they were raped.

He was also spotted in Cannangcan Corrella Bohol, Cortez, and most recently in Baclayon.

There was a picture being posted of him in facebook already.

This picture is also the same picture that was being described over DYRD AM Radyo yesterday. After the popular TBN program I had to ask the police why he has not been arrested? The police said they have no warrant for his arrest from a judge as of yet, even though he has two rapes with homicides and has escaped prison.

I had to ask the police just how many more does he have to kill and rape before they do have a judges warrant.

Many listeners have been calling both radio stations in Tagbilaran City saying they were scared and concerned!

I even suggested that they post up bulletins at the ports and the airpport so that way he could be captured if he tried to leave Bohol province...the police just only laughed at me...

I can see people here are not to worried unless the victim was one of their own.

Rape and homicide is just a joke to some I see!!!

All, can we refrain from insinuations e.g drugs or alcohol? Let us respect Cesar Montano's family at these trying times. According to the news, his son committed suicide due to problems with his girlfriend. His eyes were donated to the Eye Bank.

I am with you on this one. I was shocked this afternoon when I had heard the news over the local radio. I give sincere condolensces to Cesar and his family at this time. I am not sure what will happen with his running for Governor? I feel so bad for my friend. Today was the first officail opening day for local candidates to start campaigning for the local positions.

I do not think I would like it myself if I had seen peope posting threads saying that the possible motive to commit suicide this morning wwas due to drugs.

Hang in there Cesar so many love you here in Bohol. I had spoke with many who wanted you for their new governor.

I have met him in person. I had found him to be a pleasant down to earth person bright on many things and for a while the media was also expressing their likes for him.

I later found out he was endorsed by Gloria Macapagal Arroyo!

That still did not change my mind about GIBO.

I am one who must see someone in person and see how he socially interacts with people.

The Bohol Chronicle had reported on their front page yesterday that Gibo's ratings are down in the province of Bohol.

For me I just want the best man to win and for this campaign and election be as safe as it can be.

Three weeks ago a forum was held at JJ's Seafood Tagbilaran City. NGO representatives were invited to be guest speakers at the event.

Updates had been given on recent cases that had happened against children. The 74 year old grandfather has been arrested the case is on going in court right now. During the first court session the child was unable to speak.

In a separate case that involves two brothers under age 13 years who were sexually abused by their father the mother decided to file a legal separation with her husband taking with her the boys,by separating them from their father instead of having him arrested and thrown into jail as she thought it was best to have him keep working as he is the only bread winner in the family.

A barangay social worker from Dampas said that last year she had a known case involving a five year old girl was also sexually abused but the coulrt could not resume the case as the small child was unable to talk during the court session.

About the Antequera incidents that is happening lately I will let you know if and when this so called alleged perpetrator is caught.

One judge here in Bohol is in charge of operating two different types of courtrooms one for family court and the other is a criminal court.

According to the judge's (The one handling the two courts) wife she said that many family court cases such as adoptions, annulments have been put on hold due to the high increase of such crimes as rape, sexual abuse of a minor, and killing of minor's has increased here in Bohol in that these cases are a priority and need to be settled first before anything else.

This particular judge plans to retire in November and will need to have all his cases resolved as he will need to audit everything before his retirement.

This week many concerned and worried persons living here in Bohol have been telephoning into local radio stations expressing that they are scared with the most recent rape and killing incidents of children here in Bohol.

Last month a child was raped and killed in Antequera a town well known for basket making.

This month the same alleged suspect has raped and killed another child in Antequera again which authorities are saying that the alleged perpetrator is from the same place in where the incidents have occurred at.

Other similar cases of rape and killing of minors have been being reported across the province.

The alleged suspect has many hadlok at this time as he has been moving from one small town to the next to avoid being captured by the law.

The latest information regarding the on the loose perpetrator has him being spotted in Cortez and Correla.

Last Friday's Governor's Report held every week in Bohol Governor's Mansion media had raised a question to governor about these recent incidents and why were they not being solved as fast as they should be?

The governor after the report was over while taking his breakfast had called to Camp Dagohoy to speak with Provincial police SSP Obenza to stay on these crimes that have been occurring more often than usual these past months.

One big turn off to foreigners is when a country's law system does not give a care about whether or not an outsider visiting the country has been a victim of crime.

Here all you do is blotter what happens and end of story and end of your valuables.

Compare it to states for example or Canada these two countries will do their best to actually and actively try to seek who was anyone's perpetrator.

If you want that your alleged perpetrator be punished you have to spend your own money to fight him in a casio before he is punished for what he is guilty of.

Foreigners want a sense in knowing that they will be treated in the right way if visiting in a foreign country. It is how safety by the law is handled in many countries.

This past three years there have been so many warden alerts coming to my Email warning me on places in the Philippines to avoid as Foreigners are the main target.

Most of what is herd in the press in other countries are the bad things and some people do not want anything to do with a place that had ties to terrorism groups internationally such as Al quida.

Also I know several American men were disgruntled when they had served time helping the Philippine country they said they would not come back here as they had observed the Philippine people burning the American Flag after giving assistance here.

#326
bol-anon, that is another good point. There has been so much happening here these days it literally makes one head spin!

I am living here where as many persons in this forum are in outer areas away from here. Most often it is buried if something had gone wrong with a tourism activity.

One time  a friend of mine who was the tourism chief in Philippines let me in on some very breaking incidents that had happened with several foreigner deaths happening in one weekend all in Panglao. He told me it could be written about but his name could not be mentioned as the provider of the information.

On that particular weekend  I was told that a Korean drowned in Bohol Divers swimming pool, then a Japanese women had rental tanks for diving and was rented out faulty apparatus system and she drowned in the middle of her dive here.

Another incident involved a Chinese Filipino man who had suffered a heart attack at a resort.

Another incident kept silent for a while was a group of Japanese tourist who had arranged a tourist deal coming to Bohol were all held up and lost all types of electronic and jewelery valued at quit a bit.

I was the first one to write about it but later the editor at the time made it into his own front page banner and I was the one who had done the interview and provided the documents on all these things that happened, mentioned up above.

Bambi ....Please refrain from bad usage of words. She may be a Filipina skin and body but who knows she could be a citizen from any country as people need not be born or have the native blood to be a citizen.... and stop being so knave you know as well as I do that foreigners who commit crime here are treated way more different....But we are not onion skinned about it when we hear about such things.

Things happen by all types of persons so we all have to deal with it whether we like it or not.

#327
I am amazed many ask his help and many will receive help from what they cannot do for themselves. Then when it comes to election time wow wow wee what kind of friends or foes are we seeing now?

The same people who ask his help and money are the ones who stabbing at his reputation?

Governor says it is Chatto's party that is trying to destroy him....I am so confussed at this point I am glad I am not a voter and that I will just keep silent and keep my friends the way they are and always have been to me. They have all been very nice to me and I have never asked any favors from them neither have they me.

#328
I have been awaiting for sometime now to see if someone would ever raise the subject of "I will vote/choose him because he is my relative!"

Or better yet "We may not be related but we have the same name...therefore I will vote for him!'

What do you think of this sort of system for voting?

People when voting should really do their homework and do comparisons on those who are running for political reasons.

Like for example;

*Look at how the candidate is in the community what organixations does he affiliate himself with?

*Look at what types of helps and contributions he has made for his environment.

*See what type of company he keeps at his side?

*Is he people approachable?

*Does he put other people down?

*Does he do things against others in his profession when it has to do with personal grudges?

*Does he have pets to do his dirty deeds unto others?

*Does he boast about himself instead of focusing on what the people needs are?

*Count how many bodyguards he has and that there is enough to tell you just what type of candidate he is?...(Just kidding!) ;D

I have noticed there are many or should I say manga daghan new party lists for this election the newwest one I have heard of today was the CHINOY party list.

CHINOY stands for Chinese Filipino community.

Their pasalabong campaign material includes a papay (fan) and a matching red coin bag both are made in red silk.

Color of party is white letters on red background.

You see now if this scandal would have been done by a foreigner it would be titled with the perpetrators country of origin I have seen it done that way.

Here the women who was arrested is a Filipina did it mention she was a Filipina? No, instead it sais she is a resident in a part of the Philippines.

Oh but if this was a foreigner it would be handled differently.
#330
Mike a forum was held the documents were there those involved were boholano men and not from other countries or other provinces.

Many times media here also blames and high lights that foreigners are so bad that they are the causes of all evil in Philippines.

Anyone else saying anything else rude in here that a another has done wrong in soceity than refrain from USING THAT PERSONS COUNTRY OF ORIGIN. (Especaily in the title).

NOW IF THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN FOREIGNERS INVOLVED HOW WOULD YOU LABLE IT THEN?

JUST LIKE THEY ALWAYS HAVE EXAMPLE; "GERMAN MAN ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPTED KIDNAP IN CEBU BEACH RESORT.

WE KNOW THIS IS A SENSITIVE SOCEITY WHEN THEY HEAR that SUCH THINGS are HAPPENING BY THEIR OWN NATIVES AND ESPECAILY FAMILY MEMBERS AS BEING THE ALLEDGED SUSPECTS AND PERPETRATORS IT IS EASY TO BE UPSET.

FOREIGNERS OFTEN HAVE TO STOMACH THE BLAME GAME INSUNUATED ON THEM BY THE FILIPINO HERE WHEN THEY ACUSSE FOREIGNERS AS BEING THE ONES TO BRING IN THE SEX ABUSERS, RAPEST, KILLERS, THE ONES WHO ARE DOING THE TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS.....(Have you been keeping up to date on who is doing what and it is not the foreigners who are doing it here.)

HOW DO YOU THINK THOSE PERSON FROM THE OTHER COUNTRIES ENJOY SEEING THEIR COUNTREIS NAME IN A TITLE WHERE A BAD CRIME HAS BEEN DONE by one or two people from their country?

IT IS NOT RIGHT IN ANYONES EYES TO SEE THE COUNTRY'S NAME IN A TITLE IN WHERE ONE MAN TO A FEW HAVE COMMITTED A CRIME.
IT IS THE INDIVIDUAL MAN HIMSELF NOT THE COUNTRY AS A WHOLE....

I THINK I HAVE MADE MY POINT CLEAR.

MY RADAR IS UP TO SEE HOW MANY MORE TITLES ARE WRITTEN by Filipino authors who put the country name WHEN SOMEONE HAS COMMTTED THE CRIME in the Philippines.

I WANT THAT PEOPLE BE VIGILANT AND NOT HAVE THIS MIND or sort of myth THAT SAYS "PHILIPPINE PERSONS NEVER DO ANYTHING WRONG." LOOK AT THE TITLES IN HERE IT IS SO ANTI FOREIGNER AND IN A DURAGATORY SENSE YOUR ALWAYS SAYING "FILIPINO IS BRIGHT, THE BEST IN THIS AND THE BEST IN THAT?' I THINK IT IS CONTRADICTING TO TALK ABOUT SUCH THINGS WHEN THE COUNTRY IS STILL A THIRD WORLD AND STILL HAS MANY PROBLEMS.

I WANT TO SEE ACTION NOT JUST STORIES ABOUT HOW BRIGHT AND SMART THE PEOPLE FROM HERE ARE, I WANT TO SEE THESE PEOPLE WORK ON IMPROVING THE COUNTRY IF THE TITLES about being bright and smart HOLD TRUE.

I PERSONALLY WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE FILIPINOS BEING ABLE TO AFFORD GOING TO COLLEGE because presently the SCHOOLING IS VERY EXPENSIVE HERE.

The sad truth of the matter is many who I have seen graduate are not always promised a job here.

I would like to see laws implimented, and a safer more healtheir country to be in. Everynight I am scared to drive from point A to point B.

Do to the increased reports that there are plenty more hold ups more then ever of both victims being foreigner and Filipno and the perpretrator is from here.

I would like to see the political scene get their act together so people are not with-out means such as water... or other necessities for life.

Please do not boast about how smart the people are when there are so many continued efforts to make in making Philippines a better place it starts with the proof that the people are so bright and smart that they can make a better change then it is at current state.

I would also like to see the people speak out and not be hadlok to say what is wrong with-out thinking they will suffer for what they say later.

I would say this in person as well as in the internet. DO not talk the talk you must walk the talk!"

I have heard good news that Rey with his new program heard over the airwaves of DYTR are a hit and liked by many.

Keep up the good work Rey, we love you!
#332
But are you all shown thank you's when you do it yes! i know you are given apprecitation but not like here.

No I do not need a pat of  attention, I want the attention and the good attention that should be given in return to those who do help here.

Y is it you accept a crap story about about a foreigner over anything good that foreigners have done to help here?

I know vollunteering in orgz back home is fun man they have pizza parties, recognition of what type of hours and the community shows respect it is so different here it is not enjoyable the you see articles such as that going against foreigners.....wow!

Makes any foreigner just want to say F... it!

yes I have also done that with books and purchased medicines for medical missions with out anyone knowing other then the medical mission organizers i have tied in with food donations to dr's and vollunteers with my OWN CASH AND OWN TIME.

In an organization many are helping your not alone. and any ideals that you have are all considered and not negativley shot down how they are here.

I am tired of the people complaining here how corrupt it is but yet who is allowing them to be corrupt when they pay you to vote for them.

and then anyone with an ideal to form an organization charity bank says no to you. What a pity of not caring for a brother or a sister. Then they are the same to wallow in misery and repeatedly say how corrupt it is here.

Hard to make public improvement when the politicians are always being asked alms from people having no money to live on.

Charitable organizations if invented and well managed could take the pressure of of the government so it can make the proper facilities needed here for improvement for the public.

I am always willing and do put my words into action. If anyone wants to get together with me and not be so negative about foreigners is free to help form a charity organization with me for the people here. Please contact me if your serious in my personal mail.

Yes Da binsi your right. Have a great start of the week everyone I am going to bed it is beeen an all nighter for me..he he he he with out alcohol. I do not drink I am serious.

#333
your wrong I am left here because of a dugay system untill now or my ass would of been long gone and out of here.

I stay busy helping people less fortunant to kill time and not look at the pain and suffering. I am hadlock to make friends for the simplt fact that most have always asked to borrow monies and when they do only a few have paid back.

If not helping others I stay hidden at home most of the time.

I do have a couple of friends who have never borrowed and they are cool and when the ones who have borrowed some even pretend not to want to have anything to do with me once they get what they were obviously after.

But if they have a party it is more less likley that they would think twice to invite me but if they need money thinking about me is then not a problem.

I am not the only foreigner this has happened to here.

I was told about three years ago people seldom pay back and it is not the norm to show good manners in saying thank you!

I have not said mean things in here but some of you take it out of context as if your trying to be cool and funny because your PINOY and everyone knows right or wrong you all stick up for one another it is your custom.

I am from a custom that if your wrong your wrong if right your right. I call the kettle black when it is black.

here many gangs are formulated now and now killings have started. And Iam not about to re-hash up an old topic that I have let rest already even though it was never resolved.

Now go back to how awfull this Japanese man is for having two wifves and I will start naming seamen who have girlfriends in the states who have also married twice with a wife here and a wife in abroad.

Except when we know about such a thing we do not deport them or make it s news because who cares accept for the ones involved.

#334
As i said I have also vollunteerd with salvation army and st. vincent de paul but it was time and nothing of my own finances.

Time is easy to donate. And I am sure you also got stressed out same as me when you realized it was just a few who really went into action as vollunteers.

So why did not you not take your expereince and adopt(apply) it here in philippines so the people can bennefit from what you had learned and expereinced in the states.

here there is nothing like that in Bohol. I am not living so compftortable I have raised three Philippine children on my own dime and have been thrown stones at and called named from the prejudicies of their family and sad thing is the aunt who is spearheading the mean things against me and not knowing what i have done and what i put up with is the senior diocese in the cathedral here.

I have first hand expereince on how appreciation is shown here. I am also very active in vollunteer organizations back home as well I have been doing it since I was in Junior high folks not as just as an adult.

I can not keep carrying and sponsoring a one man band organization here and not have foreigners being acknowledged for the good instead the people here would rather shoot you down or try to out do when they cannot.

Organizations for time are easy when it is not you the one who is providing the dollars to keep it going.

#335
Chico man your y klaro, I am not complaining about paying taxes. I would like it if paying taxxes and vollunteering in organizations would be seperated from doing things to help on a private level.

No I want you people to be aware that there are good foreigners here not just ones wh are doing bad.

I am sick and tired of the negative attitudes about foreigners being bad.

I am going to stop helping people here.

It is not my job s*** let them dies and suffer it is what God teaches and I have been told to be in Rome I must be a Roman so to be in Philippines I should be a Filipina and not obey laws and never mind children and women who are suffering. because that is a true born Filipino now I get why there are no improvements.

I learned the real you guys today soand it was nothing new indeed it was what i have been observing the whole time.

Bohol is the only place in the world with signs that say be honest when others are not be honest when others cannot!
#336
Thats great Lindy at least you have those type of organizations to help in where it is not coming from your own financail pocket.

It is easiest to help in those type of charitable groups when everything is donated.

I would love it if a food bank was started here for the indigenant but just last night I brought it up witha coleauge and the ideal was shot down to have a clothes or food bank.

Foreigners are being asked on a daily basis for private help and it is in a demandind you do it or now sense.

I watched a Filipino employee chase street children away with a half of a kew stick with they were begging for food yeaterday morning and this has me in a very bad mood.
#337
Okay for foreigners in here the last thread posted was a threat that if i keep up with my onest comments that they want to slap my face and have a gang to go after me to back them up.

They are getting mad as expected because they can not help their own heartfullyand they do not know how to handle those who are helping hearftfully.

The person is highly jealous of those who have to pat themselves on their own back for helping Filipinos who are less fortunant trying to help make this a better place.

No one else will pat us on the back instead they would rather throw up and sucre on us!
#338
And that is your pride you see what I am talking about? or you desert your own and let them sufffer. No it does not have to be the way you described it.
That is inhumane as all hell can be, but an unfortunante reality.

So is that why the churches do not help the poor here in the same way in how they do help in states? It all has to do with attitude a good attitude. Look at the mormons church here they have youth activity groups they play sports, they do family things together as a group they have youth dances they teach christianly leadership and they keep young teenagers off the streets having fun. Hello Catholic churches please offer something to do and follow what are good examples being offered by other churches.

I think of it as sicking to see that attitude that the poor must suffer yes I am sensitive in when I see someone having pain and suffering. I have myself expereinced hungar trying to make a package of punsuit last a week at a time.

But if a Filipino knocked on my door having less than me you bet I would share that one package of punsuit with him/her. Yeah it is how I was raised and brought up not to be selfish minded.
#339
okay so you must also accept it if foreigners respond in any way also and not make things doudble standard. Now your getting it in where I have played some psychology on you in getting you to say what I have thought all along so remember what is good for the goose is also good for the gander! Not just one sided. If I want to say something sucks or stinks here than I will and same as your already continuing to do here with out yet stopping.

I have not read one of you saying how you help Americans who are less fortunante or the other Filipinos living in foreign places I have yet to hear your helping that countries indigenant persons on your own time and dime? (Aside from paying taxxes).

How foreigners are always asked here to do. I think often it is how people are raised here is that foreigners are rich and the people here are supposed to ask us for money in order to eat and live?

I say what I see also when living here in this third world country and do you guys that pride yourselves from coming from here, you should put your pride into some sort of positive wheels in motion to try and make it better place for everyone starting with attitude change  in wanting things to head towards better. Or you can do nothing how it is now and continue to whind and grind about the same old things. So why not put some sort of positive wheels in motion?

Nah... She can't do that... She's just throwing crap everywhere.  Maybe because she can't understand, but as always, it's not an excuse!

Maam states, she is not barking at the wrong tree but she is barking at the wrong dog.

people can make a change there fore I am not barking up the wrong tree or the wrong dog.

People neeed to mutana na oy here and help out. I listen to many radio service programs here where people ask for help and maybe once or twice a week a fellow countryman will call in to donate help to the one asking alms. Bless him many times for his kind heart.

I see whats going on, I see and it and is hard to beleive what I do see and hear? The simple fact being that it does not make logical sense.

On an average month I spend close to 300 US dollars plus of my own time in helping the less fortunant here because of feeling so bad that these poor people cannot get help from their own countrymen most of the time.

I have seen a lot of aide and projects done by foreign countries but always balme the bad things happening here is on foreigners by the ones we are helping. Even in assemblies held for women and children and environment issues they are reporting foreigners are the blame.

Why do you not praise instead and give attention to the good things that foreigners have helped this country with.

Because your culture cannot accept or take blame for anything done by you or caused by that is bad so it is easier to cast your garbage onto foreigners the very people who are trying to help this country. this was also being reported in the last abuse assembly.

Look at the foreigner woman who wrote a book about her expereince here and was told she was not permitted to re-enter the country again?......Look at the numerous Filipino who have made duragatory statements against America and other countries in the media and in person! Did the Americans cast Filipinos away from their country? No! because in America we have a freedom of expression and liberty for all.

The very place where many Filipino want to run away to everyday and make it better on greener pastures. and how contradicting and condesending is that when your media and government say foreigners are the ones causing the bad here to happen?

If you want to go to America then you stand for the country and its people. I am here I help the people and I get tired because I do not see the people living here who are naturalized and better off here helping so much with their own brothers or sisters who are not in good financail terms and in needs and if they are helping it is not that many who do actually help when they do.

Sometimes I want to give up on all my good deeds it gets me no where and nothing good is a result of it instead of praises foreigners helping here are so put down and I think I know why as there are many here who cannot do what we do. So we are thrown insults instead of thank you's

So many foreigners have stopped giving financail support in helping the poor here for the simple fact it is never ending with more and more people asking alms more than one time in a day...

We (foreigners) are not the church, we are not family, we are not politicians and not all foreigners are the cause of problems.Nor are we a charity organization even some of us have tried to form one but the Filipino will make a negative comment for even thinking about trying to make a change for the better of others less fortunante. that's so degrading to see.

Im going to start chatting with those foreigners who are not aware of what is being generalized about them here as being the cause of problems here and see what they have to say I am sure they will not be happy either and these will be people from other countries who have also spent time and money helping the people here.

It is not nice to get a dose of your own medicine at your own face is it!

It is done in this sight all the time against foreigners I have already posted one of them. I have been silent for to long.

People need to be sensitive in what they are posting about foreigners as well as many women on this sight are marreid with internationals.I am sure their husbands do not appreciate knowing that the media/ and government sectors are trying to ask foreigners to come here spend money but at the same time bad mouthing us at the same time.

Does anyone get what I am barking at yet? or does anyone care?

:-X This goes for everyone in this website forum just do not set rules against foreigners. We should not talk about anyones country. lets not have a voice about anything.

let's just observe who is here who is trying to help others, and lets observe who is not helping others. Sounds good to me and then once you see what is the real story then I guess no words are needed to be said in certain sittuations.

I need to get my rest as I have another day of helping indigenants here from with my own pockets and time because Iam a hobug worthless foreigner.... and because I am a foreigner I am also stereo typed by Filipino in that we are the cause of the bad things going on here....

How kind of you all!

You mean these foreigners were here making a movie and letting Filipino earn a livlihood! I want to know did any of them commit any crimes as foreigners are being type casted for the cause of many wrong doings that are going on here?
#343
Does this last statement mean all foreigners are doing such bad things? Does this mean to say that foreigners are the cause of these bad things that are happening?

When Filipinos travel to other countries are they blamed for being the sources of the problems that are going on when they are act in such acts and found guilty?

Enough is enough people.

Yesterday a Lakas party Campaign Press conference was held and not all media men were properly informed by the President of the association of BTMA or neither did their officers had informed all media members which has becaome a habit since the group has changed it's BTMA President over a year ago already.

Before with the past BTMA president from another media outfit, all members of the media regardless of outlet or how he felt about matters on a personal basis where contacted about press conferences. Not in how it is being handled now, especailly with the mayor of the city at the now BTMA's president helm.

Now....Let's ask which Lakas campaigner was not at the Press Conference yesterday? And why was he not there? Was he unaware of such a conference being called?

Some media men who knew about the conference were even finding out late and had showed up late in result of it.

But those who did show up were given 500.00 Pesos.

According to a very relaible media resource.

What is the use of paying dues to this organization if not all  members are not being treated fairly.

Let's see which person with the right knowledge can answer the mysterious things that had happened at this particular press conference?

I know who but I do not know for what reasons and why he was not present?

Could someone with the right info inform this website and its members what happened during this particular conference yesterday?

Foreigner rapist in Philippines front page news here.

But if a Filipino raping in his own countryman  it goes to back pages in the indicrete section of any newspaper tabloid, and why is that? Some publishers will not even print it if it is about a Filipino due to sensitivity of his own race but has no problem printing the news if it involves not from his own race. How unfair is that?

Philippine tourist destinations wanting to apeal as a good place to come for foreign tourist but at the same time the local organizations are putting a blame and pointing their fingers at foreigners for causing abuse, trafficking, sexual diseases, prostitution and what not?

If I am a foreigner visiting that country knowing that type thing was being said I would be highly offended insulted and not feel very appreciated.

I am not denying that there are some foreign men who do go on vacations outside their own countries and they have been known to do some pretty bizare things.I also am opposed to this bizare type of behaviors. I also get offended when a white man is automatically called an American by some philippine persons here especailly when he is from another white dominant country of origin.

Generalizing about things is easy thing to do for most people. Or when the paper says something like "Media agrees......" oh really? Maybe some media may agree but in general not all. I think okay to say the following media men agree then list the ones who agree in the write up to follow. It gets sort of confussing to be specific or to generalize?........LOL!

Okay let's say your a mexican National living in States in some city newspapers it would be titled "24 year old male suspect......" no country of origin mentioned. First paragraph would say Dark comlected male aged 24 years of Hispanic origin and not just say he is from mexico when he could be from gautemala.

I think I had asked one of the administrators in here if it was that easy to do. That administrator told me it is hard to pin point where the user could be using the IP at? or if I am wrong maybe the main administrator could take the time to explain it better?

I use to think it would be easy also to go after whomever was being rude on the internet by tracking down the IP adress. I was wrong in my thinking.

The laptop could be registered in example let us say tim buk two and be being used in Philippines. Or was it really the one registered who is sending such info from that IP?

There are some falicies about giving out IP information it can say where it was registered but also it could be being used in another country.

I was able to talk personally with Rey Blanco who is now anchoring on the opposite AM station from where he was before at the same time frame as he was on also.

He told me he is much happier with his new station and I guess that is all that matters as you try to find ways to help yourself in doing better.

During the last election Rey Blanco had taken over as main anchorman of TBN while his partner had left the air to campaign at the time.

This campaign period main anchorman of TBN will again be off air to run his campaign in going for the position as a Tagbilaran City Councilor, now the question of the month is who will be chosen to handle his place now that Rey has left for the other station.

Rey no matter what may be the bad things said about what is going on I have heard a lot of good from many of the coleauges that you are still very loved amongst your media brothers and sisters.

My advice to others is worry about your own choices in your own life, and do not second guess the opinion and choices of another person.

As Christians you are to encourage wellnes for everyone. Everyone has a right to their own opinion and own choice just so long as your not hurting anyone or getting in their way.

Recently while I was in Cebu for a couple of days last week I randomly asked persons who were working class persons in that province who was their bet for a National Philippine President?

The two most popular answers that popped up were "NoyNoy" and "Gibo"

What will be your choice as of now?

Was this article writen for the Catholic dominant country or another country?

I know a few are in favor and some of the few would rather remain in the 5th amendment and not have to feel that they be prosecuted for even having the freedom of choice.

I think it is okay to have the ads over the radio but the ad should be informative and educational and none funny and sensitive to the listeners because young teenagers are having babies now and in the schools here it is not being teached about sex education and reproduction untill the later years in school.

Also depends on the listener average age of audience. late night FM radio when they start playing the soft romantic music before going to nighty night!!!

#354
Maybe a new title should be ordered for this also "One foreign man found guilty of ....." some media print, or broadcast laws prohibit the use of naming the persons place (country) of origin they can be described as "Dark complected, male aged 45 found guilty in double marraige." naming the country of the person is considered as racist in some places....One newspaper having that rule has won pulitzer prize already.....Makes polite sense to me.
#355
My point is you point out a japanese man doing something wrong but you must also look in your own native back yards and keep in mind no race or natioon is so innocent of all things such as these things that are happening.

I see crazy stuff happening in many countries and I do not see the dennial and shocked act going on how it is seen here. As if this country has no problems...find me a country that does not have problems in where you cannot find bad things happening. Regardless if America, Canada, Bahama's, or the Philippines bad things happen and it is a fact of life no matter how hard it may shock us.

#356
Salamat for the back up Mike. Please feel free to change the title to something less tactfull instead let's re-phraze it "Some Bohol family members behaiving questionably" How can Bohol deal with these problems more than ever?" (something like that.

Last week a at JJ's Seafood Villge, a women and childrens abuse semminar was held with tagbilaran City Councilor, Anne Mariquet Oppus and councilor B. Inting who is the chairman on the women and childrens committee for the city, along with other well known professionals such as Atty. Myrna who is from from WINGS program at Holy Spirit school in Tagbilaran.

Severl other similair cases such as this were mentioned as happening in the city and around Bohol. One incident was from Tip-Tip, another from Dampas and the first one mentioned happened in Mansasa in regards to the grandfather.

There will be an article coming out in next weekends Bohol chronicle with updates from the seminar in which many Bohol persons representing  all types of LGU's and NGO's organizations had gathered together to participate in.

I will try my best to try to paste it up once it get's published if not i have the original in my file.

********There has been an update of the grandfather case*****

The grandfather of one of the earlier mentioned incidents has been arrested and is now in jail and the first preliminary hearing of the case was being held last Monday March 1st. 2010. The problem was the child was to inhibited from speaking at that time.

please stay tuned.

And also let's not label other countrymen who come here and molest children to the front to first few pages of newspapers either, because here if a foreignor does the same thing it is put on front page as breaking news stories if a Filipino does the same filthy act it is either thrown out of the press as if out of sight and out of mind or put in a an unnoticable section of the newspaper such as the back pages.

Sounds fair to me.....I do remember the nasty reputation made for the USA Navy men in regards to the "Nicole Rape case" a few years back my what publicity! And if that would have been done from a Filipino to his own it would never of surfaced to that same type of amount of publicity.

#357
Not just japanese men are guilty of this type of thing but Filipino seamen do it as well. have a wife in Philippines and get married abroad with another wife.

It will not be recognized in the Philippines unles the wedding license and contract was acknowledged by the Philippine Consultant Office in the outside country in where the wedding was performed.

#358
I heard this columnist is no longer writing for the same newsapaper. how sad as she was the only female columnist Bohol had.

She gave the people here another way of looking at things. She was described by many here "As a breath of fresh air" she would come up with her own unique way of writing things and also brought up her very own news topics. She was a foreigner with a keen sense of mind.

I pity now the women and children of Bohol, because who now in the media will advocate for them as this columnist had been doing so for almost five years?

I know she had teamed up with another fellow media partner and had really been studying the issue at hand.

This was one of two series that never had a chance to finish. The second series involved "Child Punishment and "Physical Abuse." Discussing the United nations stand on anti spanking and abuse.

This columnist is said to have kept things up to date on things that were happening in this province.
#359
Many things are annoying why is it if it is happening here it is considered offensive. Oh but if we say it is another country man you do not defend them? (sniff sniff I smell double standard BS going on here.) I am just saying the truth!) now that your all so saddend by your personal feelings get over it and you try to help these children do something about it if not then your children do not come first in being protected now do they?

Iam offended i have even tried to stick up for these vitims and what a hole it really is a stinky one at that and to say "We Protect our children in Philippines" Iam laughing at how offensive this statement is when it gets right down to it! how do you like those personal apples?

Am I making a point? It looks like it is all about the "Me thing!" intstead!

Documents are available, your all from here you know how to get them just as well as i do. Also the newspapers have published some of it in indiscrete areas of the newspaper.

The police desk WCCD in Tagbilaran P03 Rose Marie Aveneida said all she can do as a police is to act as a mediator. How sad but true. Even I could not beleive the Dr's who are working on these children know this why can they not make a case as a profesional knowing the sittuation? Is not the Dr. state licensend to follow and comply with any laws if they have proof of a medical check up or autopsy to help and assist in filing cases.

the law is so weird in how people are treated here. they pride themselves on taking care of the rights of children but what has happened in these situations is NOT GOOD IS IT? What kind of protection do children have here when the family has no place to go and no money. It is so discriminate here all around. As if no money you have no rights so allow the bad to keep doing what is wrong.

Do not get upset if I call the kettle back "mutana na oy" because I know many here are white washed about many issues and what not.

The thread is not meant to do any personal harm no names were mentioned as there have not been any cases filed. Instead of taking it personally why not try to help these kids and these victims instead of always thinking about yourselfs.

I will just stop informing you, I will not care anymore if your all going to take things personally when a citizen is harming or killing others here. Think about the victims not yourself.

I just preach Godly versus and act blind and not warn you or inform you on what is really going on.

The men doing such actions against childen here all have adresses here.  Do not take it personally or sniv about it. deal with it as it is a reality. And yes it is happening more often here in Bohol.

Do not worry about it in a personal sense if your dad, or relatives would not do such a thing. This website is generated towards Boholanos Mao ba!

If I said Filipino men are raping and abusing and killing Boholano kids do you feel less offended from the actuall 100% truth.

Jeri Pabe well known and well loved anchorman on Tagbilaran By Night "TBN" Monday thru Saturday nights from 930pm-1130pm on station DYRDAM.

This is a station produced public service radio program and part of Pabe's job is to talk to needy and indigenant persons seeking community support in getting funds to help pay for needed medicines and emergency operations.

Pabe is running for Tagbilaran city Councilor.

#365
Kagawad Roberto "Batchoy" Alba from DYRD's PULSO radio show in where Batchoy is the anchorman and block timer of his own program and can be heard Monday-Friday at 9AM-10AM on radio statioon DYRDAM.

(Running for a seat as Tagbilaran City Councilor).
#366
Congressman Chatto also gave congrat to Dodong libatuana for his filing alone for Kagawad.Dodong is from DYTRAM.

Running for a seat as councilor in his own home town.
#367
I have noticed when visitors apealing for help for medical assistance over the local radio stations here are from Congressman Cajes's district and when being asked by the anchormen if they had received financail help from The Cajes's family they say "No!"

So what is the clue here about a true concern for your fellow man and fellow citizen as a politician from that area.
#368
Yes' gwargs I have also heard some Filipino sharing the same feelings in the the last two-three lines of your statement two threads back.

I was just getting ready to start my 4th year of high school back in my home country of states.

I remember watching it all day repeatedly on the news I felt very sad for what had happened.

The other day I went to the plaza for the anniversary day celebration of EDSA and it was so mingaw. I am sure I recall one of the speeches at the event said that one of the Vice presidential candidates for the May 10 election, that their father was connected to be one of the hench men of Ninoy Aquino.

I will never forget looking on the TV and watching the news on TV and looking at the news in the paper and the turmoil surrounding everything on the day the man who fought for Democratic freedom was shot down......You would not think that anyone cared about such a freedom today as maybe about close to 40 turned out for the event and the candle lighting ceremony for freedom of democracy turn out was around 10-12 persons.

I watched the presentation from start to finish and learned many more things regarding the history and how the people reacted to a very horrible sittuation and time during the time when things here were under martail law.

I hope to see a better turn out next year as the freedom for democracy banner was unveiled the other night during the event and was said that it will adorn the office walls at the freedom for democracy headquarters.

No one that I have spoken to that is living in the deep interior and along the coast lines in Panglao seem to be to much in favor of this issue what so ever.

I heard the best interveiw over the radio last week with a foreigner investment owner in Panglao on a local popular AM program Cuentas Klaris and if anyone could get a hold of the recording of that show from almost two weeks ago I think Dave Bailey (UK) put it straight to the point.

In where professionals should be brought in to properly study what would be the affects and make sure that the professionals doing the survering and studies do not have a so called economic interest in the area so that their professional sopinions would not be affected.

#371
Herrera is a brother whoo hoo!!! A brother in the Lion's clubs that is.
#372
I was reminded not to trust anyone again.....I am speaking from experience.

#373
Well if it is a column then it can not be edited and it is an opinion of oneself expressed in media.

People want to look at things and analyze things in many different angles and when we read what a columnist/ editorialist has written on public matters then it is to the readers discretion to agrre or not.

I feel bad that Bohol has no mor female columnist to stand up and help advocate for the well being of women here.

The last female columnist was booted for grammatical/personal reasons with-out a undo process and proper re-evaluation. I hear she is very involved with helping the poor in the community.

I am happy to know that a media print person was able to leave his opinion at what it was no matter what the topic.

How can media pre-vail the truth when so many are onion skinned about the truth here it is better to make a lie or hide things from the generall public.
#374
he he he SSSSSSSSH!

:)
#375
I make many laf at no laffing matters it is my job as it is a best medicine cures most ailments!
#376
Okay I love you I have it clearer now. But he he he GF do not mix politics and religeon together or grooowl!!! mwah!

I know you yourself would like to see the churches here help more.

Many people want Montano for governor. I think it will be a tight contest between Montana and chatto.

ingat!

miss you!

I am also not trying to hurt anyone I just want to have people look at it in how others see what is really going on over here.
#377
Yes. but that is why being a good Christian is all about mao ba we must accept and go on and support even things we may not be full beleivers in ourself.

Here it is all about Catholic as if other religeons are crap, and to me it is non Godly to discriminate against others because they are not a Catholic, Mormon, Babtist...etc it sounds so cultish to even bring up one politicians beleifs about religeon or even where he stands with religeon.

Even you said yourself before that the Catholic church is doing more in the states to help out the needy and may we add also helps the non-Catholics as well who need help.

Many Catholics complain that the church (the dominating one) should be helping the poor instead it is taking from the poor.

Drive by causeway near to Macjak and see all the barefooted and soiled clothed candle vendors begging passer by for money so that they can eat.....What about a church run food drive or even a clothes drive to make these people be more clean and healthy looking so they can also feel better about themselves.

Doesn't the Catholic church care about the people who are making money for them by selling candles. I am a mouth I just say what I see. It has nothing to do with bashing it should be that the dominat religeon should really be more perceptive and realistic and do more for the people here.

Look at some other churches here they have many youth activities happening here now a days, these kids who are changing religeon are more happier it seems as they are not on the streets all tatterd and torn and soiled how the Catholic poor children are being represented.

These other churches are being brought in by Westerners who have the descency enough to say hey wait a minute.... and teach people in the right caring sense.

Do not take it personally instead if your member of the Catholic church please prove to those of us how it is helping people here who are followers and the sisters and brothers who need the help more than others.

Another way of proving your faith is to show us how involved you all are in serving the God's poor from your church. Some of you may be big beleivers in the dominate faith here but...ahem where are the community church vollunteer hours to help the less fortunante people here?

Catholics these days are paying attention to the bad things versus what are the good things to be done. Many are afraid to suggest to the church on ways how they could offer help why should Catholics be ashamed to offer or be involved with organizing help for the needy?

Most good services for people are not being done for the needy by Catholics it is the newwer religeons that are coming in here to help ppeople who need help.

Religeous persons need not to discriminate they need to rehabilitate in all aspects of life and work together. OoPsy! off topic again.

Please let's refrain from calling persons names in here. remember we do have what is known as a freedom of thought and expression and the right to respect those who do give opinion.

This is exactly why you peoples have a country in the condition that it is currently in. I have always noticed those who would like to see a new administration run in the political scenes here there are those who would insult the ones who would like to clean out the house in it's present condition, because the mold on their noses is so thick it is hard to take it off.

Get out from the molds of the old mildew sittuation you are in at present and enjoy life with-out something you cannot move or enjoy life with. (What do we do if we find moldy foods laying about? Do we eat it or throw it out?...of course we throw it out so why not do the same with moldy politicians.)

I can see a blogging rumble coming on in this topic....

#379
Several local media men this election are running for candidates in numerous positions to be voted in.

I and I am sure others would be interested in hearing what makes you as a media man feel that you are qualifeid to run in such a feild?

What are your previous community contributions aside from being a media man?

What type of public service aside from media do you belong to in where you are helping others?

What type of platform are you making for yourself in your community?

Please state what position your running for and where are you running at so people in here will know if you are on they're side of the fence.

Tubag Bohol would be a great place to warm up your platforms.

#380
Many natives in Panglao are presently anti reclamation.
#381
Raqueal this is where many people go wrong when making statements such as he is not a Catholic..So what!
I have seen this as a pretty darn discriminating country myself when I see requirements for job hirings the latest one to be a was a total blow to the Catholics in where the requirement of the job applicant if female is to submit a pregnancy test before she is considered to be hired???

Oh my goodness doesn't the church teach against syntthetic birth controls, doesn't the church say to be come fruitful and many......What is the church doing to businesses who have such hiring requirements isn't it not going against the church to not hire someone if they are buntis?
I am not a Catholic and many are the same as I am but it does not mean we do not have good qualities. No one is perfect no matter what religeon one may be.

#382
I had attended the sessions how a faithfully always do and I was also present when Vice Mayor Toto Velsoso hit down the Gavel and adjourned the session.

I was proud of the three councilors to walk out whenthe session was adjourned and the Vice mayor as well.

There is a Tagbilaran city Code book that the majority should read and know how to comprehend and put to practice on how procedures must fall before making any sort of proposals on any matters as well as money matters involving tax payyers money.

Just because your Councilor Glovasa a top notcher does not mean he should be ussed as a pawn to pressure other members on the council to make a proposal and have it seconded before it had even gone to the course of going through and appropriations committee.

Now the bank is saying........""""""""" that could be saved for another topic in itself.
#383
he he he are you sure? loks like heads are turning and looking the other way for candidates who are new and do not know how to operate the tricks of the trade..... Look's like to me in the mock polls of TB that Cesar Montana is in the lead all the way the closest match is between Herrera and Montano.
#384
I have heard at present that there is no more budget from Congressman Chatto's office for helping indigenants get financail help for medicines and operations and other medical treatments.

The local radio stations are being flocked by many on an average of anywhere from 8 up to almost 20 pateints a shows such as DYRD's "TBN" programs hosted by anchorman Jeri Pabe through out the week.

Three weeks ago according to Kagawad and anchorman Jeri Pabe the most he had ever seen apil on his  very popular program on the top rated program "Tagbilaran By Night" he said 18 was the highest ever in pateints who had come asking for help on just his show alone.

You can definently see there is a big public need for persons in the community to chip in and help those in need.
#385
So many ask my opinion on the candidates in Bohol and with-in the nation.

Out of respect as I am not a voter in the Philippines I am willing to share what others have said about some candidates that is if it is okay with the rest of all of you.

I will not say anything now but I will await your answers in whether you would like to give me the go ahead.
Thank you!
#386
Now Now Now! This province is considered the most religeous and the most hospitable province in the nation mao ba?

Is it not out of line to be talking so hateful of thy neighbor? Doesn't the bible say "Love thy Neigbor" I can think of plenty who have done way worse than her majesty and have gotten away with murder at times compared to her.

She certainly has had a few trips to America many times this past couple of years....

And also other places as well. I do not listen much to the radio or do I have cable television right now and I am sort of content about it as I am tired of the same bitching day to day about the same wind and grind that they do in Philppiines.

people in Philippines need to stop being so hadlock regardless and do what is right to stop the nonesense there.
#387
Fred Amora was also never around for the past two sessions starting with the sessions that was ajourned and the specail session.

That is why Standard did not catch the story when it had happened. I see he is trying to make up for lost time as if he was present during either sessions in his column last Sunday regarding how nice Oppus, Inting,Rama and Veloso are in having respect for the tax payyers money. In radio listening you can not read the emotions and body languages of what should be going along with the events of what are being said.

he is one to talk when it comes to spending others money......ahem!!!

#388
Ha ha ha ha Mike I recall a columnist being let go for poor grammar this is the right way in how you spell Tagbilaran..... It does have a "G" letter that is not having a silent sound.

He he he he!!! Just joking with you!!!
#389
I do not think that just politicians should hand out scholarships to deserving poor students. I think it would be nice also to see big national businesses spend money on scholarships as well as some big name local businesses. I would much rather see a student being supported for an academic degree versus thousands wasted on entertainment that last for about 2-3 hours long.

Often i see a lot of money that should be being used for better important things just being so stupidly spent ina third world country.
#390
If they are involved with aiding in murders why not be involved in being in cohoots with drug dealers.
#391
I have spken myself with severa resident natives residing in Panglao's BGY. Doljol and the ones who I have spoken with are very oppossed of the recclamation.

Dave Bailey an foreign national from the UK who manages the Oasis Resort on Alona Beach was heard over station DYTR airing his veiws regarding the Reclammation and he said he beleives the idea is very bad as it will destroy Gods natural habitat and beauty and destroy the population of fish.

Dave also suggested that opinions should come from a professional outfit who can honestly study the advantages and disadvantages of such a project rather then having persons speak and hold rallies who have a personal interest such as property owners in the area where it would take place in Panglao.

Boy Guing hosting the show in where Dave spoke "Cuentas Claris" on DYTR AM asked Dave where he thought as a foreigner if Dave had the right to voice his opinion about a Philippine issue? Keep in mind people Dave has invested a business here he has every right to say something and this is a free countrry meaning it should not be discriminate.

According to Councilor Glovasa after I had a brief interveiw with him following tuesday's specail session he said that they had held a specail meeting to be able to propose and and pass the second road rehabilitation budget equaling over more than 50+ thousand.

Mariquet was out of the province with her husband cellebrating her wedding anniversary this was already schelduled prior to the adjournment in a session from about two weeks ago when Councilor Glovasa during the previous session  which ended up in adjournment was trying to force and pass a proposal on a budget that had not yet been dicussed in a previous appropriatons committee.

I have been the only one in the print side of media who has been attending these sessions which are also held live over both AM stations in the city DYRD and DYTR.

So many broadcasters and media men were there at the specail session from DYTR even Ted Ayeng who is always seen with the City Mayor who is involved in schelduling and being present with many programings in the station in where ted Ayeng is an assistant manager under Carlito "Lito"Responte GM of station DYTR. Ayeng is rarely seen attending session hall meetings but is seen with the mayor always in the public as well as doing public service radio with mayor.

Also representing DYRD during the session is reporter Willie Maestrado.

#393
Noted and corrected.

Thank You for pointing it out Grazie.
#394
Mabiat sya I have met her also myself. After hearing how horrible this woman was I had to meet her and again like others fooled by the gossip of the people here.

And the ones I heard it from were a media associate editor here and a lawyer connected to a school here.
#395
TIP-TIP BGY. Captain wife? :o
#396
The one who died from this accidental death is from the country known as "Down Under" yes he died down under as well. So many foreigners have lost lives here in Bohol in the past couple of years.

May he Rest In Peace!
#397
A well known reporter and a assistant to Jeri Pabe on DYRD's Tagbilaran by Night program has leaped like a frog in the night, right over to DYTR to co-anchor a show with Nemi Monton who is known for training boxxers here in Bohol.

Rey Blanco described by some of his coleauges as funny and out-going is now at an opposite station at DYTR (COMNET) at the same time that "TBN" at night is being played live over the airwaves.

Rey I wish you all the newwest in luck in your switch, and Thank yu for being nice to me when I became involved with TBN after being elected as a board of director and chosen for the PRO position. As well as helping me with some of TBN operating procedures while being aired over the radio..

If anyone can beleive it AHAPI has done a medical mission in the highest BGY. in Duero it had to have been about 5 centavos from heaven!!!

They as a hostess were absolutley wonderful to us during our medical mission.
#399
Yipee!!!

I am happy to see that Alexis Taldo is running for the position as VICE MAYOR he comes from a great well known family in Loboc.

His mother is the children choir director in Loboc.

His father is the secretary of the LOboc SP and a Layminister of the Loboc Catholic Church.

All his sibilings have graduated with four year degrees. Mirzi and Justin Taldo are both recent passers on the nurses exams, he has a sister outside of Philippines and a brother Pierre working in Manila.

Alexis has four very nice young children and a beautiful wife who is also a college graduate.

When I have observed this man in action as a Lboc councilor he is bright and knows how to handle himself for the people of Loboc.

He is a teacher at UB.

Good Luck!

Alexis Taldo

You deserve to win!!!

Balbin has been attending regular sessions and has been active in the voting processes at hand especailly this sum of 53+ million pesos for the road rehabilitation that has been an ongoing and continious as well as monotinoius deliberation for several months now. And such matters were taken up again during a "Specail Session" last Tuesday after last Friday's regular session in where Vice Mayor Toto veloso had adjourned the session early as Councilor Glovasa was trying to push for a passing of a proposal prior to any specail committee work being done in how to handle the 500million loan to begin with.

Balbin is not so active as he was before that is understandable and is only being counted for attendance so that he can collect his councilor's salary.

He is being aided by a walking cane and seems to be very attentive and alert to what is going on he pays attention to those who are on the floor taking turns with talking.

Just by looking at him you can see physically he still needs time to re-cooperate before he can almost reach his full capacity in where he was before his stroke.

I wish him a speedy and safe recovery.

I am very proud of the man who has just had stroke to be able to get back up in the horses saddle again and be able to do his actions as a city councilor.
