September 14, 2009, 11:56:38 AM
TIPS TO BE HEALTHY AND STAY YOUNG

Everyone in this world want to stay young and healthy. But to have it one has to keep in mind and follow certain thing. There is no hard and fast rule that one should follow it as mentioned below. As we know prevention is better than cure. One have to follows do and don't that comes in their life, mostly the habits which may be harmful to ones health.

Pollution
Keep away from pollution they can cause great harm to the skin by giving rise to dermatitis and pimples, white heads and black heads, beside causing rashes, boils and skin irritation. Therefore as far as possible, safeguard yourself from pollutants by covering your face and nose while traveling or passing through highly polluted areas.

water pollution final
Sun Rays
Too much exposure to the harsh rays of the sun can give rise to skin cancer. Do not venture out when the sun is at its highest. Always use a sunscreen when going out and cover your face with a scarf or an umbrella. Without fail when you are on bike ride, sunscreen must be used and helmet, which protects your head and the face, is a must to carry with. In many cases sunrays give rise to sunburns and tanning, these are very embarrassing skin blemishes. It is face where out beauty stand for attraction, keep it safe.

Another Sun Ray in Healthcare Story
TOO MUCH CAFFEINE
Drinking too much coffee in a day may cause dehydration of the skin; beside it interferes with your sleep, giving rise to insomnia. Insomnia can cause or give rise to crows' feet, wrinkles, and dark circles under the eyes, puffy eyes and dull skin.

Teens drinking more coffee despite health & financial impact
Smoking effect on Health
Smoking which worldwide rated as bad for health and one must be away from it. Smoking can prove very devastating to the skin. The nicotine in the tobacco decreases the circulation of the blood to the skin thus preventing the skin from imbibing oxygen and other important nutrients, which keep it going. This may cause premature wrinkles of the skin, since the smoke particles attract dust and dirt from the atmosphere which settle on the skin, clogging the pores which gives rise to pimples, boils and rashes. Besides smoking give rise to crows' feet and wrinkles around the face and most dangerous is mouth cancer.

Stop Smoking
Drinking Water
Drink lot of water to keep your skin young and shiny. Washed your faced at least two to three times a day to keep away all the dust particles settled on your face and the skin.

Gugma kining way pagkalaya
Bisan isapnay sa luha

Kung ang kasing-kasing ko
Sa palad sakiton
Didto sa kalangitan
Ako kang paabuton

Bohol Hymn (English version)

This is the land I love,
The land God gave to me,
Caressed by the sun,
Bathed by the sea,
And kissed by the cool breeze
Night and day.
Here’s where the early heroes lived,
Here’s where they wrought peace and here they bled,
Here rise the marvelous cone-shaped hills,
Here’s sweet kinampay grows.

Blessed with white sandy beaches,
Rivers that water valleys,
Seas teem with fishes and cows graze
on the plains,
In ev’ry home love reigns,
God keep my homeland always free,
Let her forever be,
I pledge my strength, my heart and soul,
To my dear home, Bohol.

Saint Joseph Institute of Technology (SJIT) Hymn[4]

I ask you to join me sing this song
of prayer for SJIT
Born out of the mist of the beautiful dream,
Nursed by the love of its founder.
Here I set my eyes to find my place
in the sun,
here I lift up to the skies my ambition
to serve God and man.
So, dear Lord, in heaven,
Bless my dear SJIT
May it live forever, let us sing, and let us pray.

BSAT Hymn

Let us sing and let us praise the BSAT
Its the school that trains brind and hand.
Where the clanging of the anvils,
the buzzing of the sew
And the roar of the plainer
are song we love to here.
Where the joys and hopes are waiting.
Blend in song as we turn the mill
We are wood and metal workers
We sew, we cook, we draw and hammer.

All these jobs will make our country
Strong and free ( repeat )
Its the school that trains brind and hand.
Where the clanging of the anvils,
the buzzing of the sew
And the roar of the plainer
are song we love to here.
Where the joys and hopes are waiting.
Blend in song as we turn the mill
We are wood and metal workers
We sew, we cook, we draw and hammer.

All these jobs will make our country
Strong and free ( repeat )

Life is not measured on the the length of time you are alive.
Life is too short to spend your precious time trying to convince a person who wants to live in gloom and doom otherwise. Give lifting that person your best shot, but don't hang around long enough for his or her bad attitude to pull you down. Instead, surround yourself with optimistic people

Inspiration & Hope / Re: Life Tips
September 10, 2009, 09:11:10 AM
41.Don’t lie or invent a story. Things will not add up and the falsehood will be found out sooner or later - usually sooner. Getting over a break up is hard enough without introducing mistrust. Making someone piece together bits of information while leaving him/her to guess what is true causes unnecessary pain.

42.Don’t blame someone or something else for your choices. Identifying and asking for what you want is an important developmental step and is necessary for mature relationships. Also, hiding behind excuses is pretty transparent. It is likely the other person will see what you are doing. Conversely, if he/she actually believes your excuse, the person will try and problem solve how to remove whatever relationship obstacle you’ve fabricated.

43.Don’t delay ending a relationship. Once you know you want to break up with someone, it does not help if you deny what you feel. Your partner will sense a change, perhaps reaching out for reassurance. This may feel like “neediness” to you which will increase your feelings of being stuck.

God has a plan for all of us.

Be sure of your salvation. The Bible said "Some things you have to do on time or not at all. Paul warned the people in Corinth: "As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. For he says, 'In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.' I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:1-2).

The Difference Between An Optimist And A Pessimist

Optimist: There is nothing more important than feeling good.

Pessimist: Come again? Didn't I just tell you how bad everything is

Optimist: When you feel good you raise your vibrations. You get what you prefer. You send out a frequency that brings you what you love.

When you feel miserable, you’re setting yourself up to miscreate your reality. Your pain is a signal for you to change. It’s a warning blip on the radar of your mind.

The easiest thing you can do to change your life is to feel good. Finding ways to feel good opens the pathways to your preference.

It is so much easier to feel good. It is so much easier to get into health, clarity, and love, when you feel good. And it is so much easier to create the life you want that way.

When you feel bad, you’re pointing your car down the wrong side of the freeway. Sooner or later, you’re going to hit an oncoming car.

Pessimist:You just don't understand, do you?

Optimist:I understand how you can feel badâ€"nothing is working out for you. Your bills aren’t paid and your rent is due and your car doesn’t work and your kids are out of control and your boss and coworkers hate you, and, and, and…but you just have to do it…you have to train yourself to feel good.

You see, all this is happening because you feel bad about what’s bad.

Pessimist: Yeah, right! So how do you feel good when everything is bad?

Optimist: You fake itâ€"until you make it.

Pessimist:I gotcha! You're a positive thinking nut!

Optimist: This is not about positive thinking: this is about positive vibrating. Your brain is an electromagnetic generator. It throws out thoughts all the time that affect your body and your world. And it brings to itself thoughts of a similar kind. You get to feel more of what you’re already feeling and observe the circumstances to justify it.

Naturally, when bad things happen you react to themâ€"-but, this sets in motion more bad things to come your way. It’s a vicious circle, I know. I understand how unnatural and forced it feels to try and feel good when things are going badly…but, but…it’s the only way to turn things around.

And when you feel good, then good things start happening. Somehow, for some strange reason, you find more people who seem to like you, and you find new ideas and new solutions, and you have happy accidents that spontaneously take care of those horrible disasters. And people for some reason want to pay you more and help you more and just be around you more.

Pessimist: This is way too simple! Do you realize how much time I spend trying to figure things out?

Optimist: I’d try to make this more complex if I knew how.

All I can say is that you always get to choose how you want to feel about anything.

If I were you, I'd start to feel good. Reasons why will soon start showing up.

Brief History of Digos
In the early days, Digos was watercourse meeting place of inhabitants belonging to the Indonesian-Malay tribes settled along the southern foothills of Mt. Apo. The Digos River meets the Davao Gulf and is ideal for fishing and bathing.

During the Spanish era, a group of natives carrying bows and arrows were approached by some Spaniards traversing the very fertile tracks of land in Davao. One Lopez Jaena Pacheco, a conquistador during the administration of Governor Claveria serving as the head of the group, inquired about the name of the place from the barefooted natives. Believing that the Spaniards were asking where they were bound to, the natives answered: “padigos” which means “to take a bath”. Since then the place was identified as Digos.

My View On Creation
Why are we here? What's our purpose in life?

These are questions every man and woman ask themselves at least once in their lifetime. They are questions that most leave the answers to "God" their sacred creator. But what exactly is "God"? "God" can be represented as many things. Some religions see "God" as just the creator. Some say that "God" is the one who created a law for people to follow. Some say that we must worship this "God" otherwise we will be spending the rest of our feeble existance in a burning hell. The point is that "God" can mean many things, but did "God" create us or did we create "God"?

Think about it for a minute. Hundreds of years ago Man thought that the world was flat. They were actually naive enough to believe that if they sailed so far they'd fall off the edge of the world. Of course it was proved to be false and now everyone knows the world is round. What I'm getting at is that thousands of years ago, people didn't have any way of knowing about what was out there. They thought that life revolved around them and that there was nothing else to the world than what they knew of it. Hell, they thought that there was nothing else anywhere. They had no idea of the boundaries of space and what was up above the clouds.

It was only human to try and find a purpose. It's human nature to want to feel like you weren't an accident. We as human beings want to hear that we were created for a reason. That we have a purpose in life. So we make up the stories of creation. People only preach about all the great things this so called "God" has done. I mean what about all that crap they say he did in the old testament. I haven't read the bible but tonight at the Free Thought Alliance meeting, I was told about how "God" sat there and tested this guy named Abraham's faith by telling him to kill his only son. And Abraham did what he was told because he loved this "God"... But after it was all over he was like "Oh well you didn't really have to kill your son, I was just testing you" I mean that "God" is sick as hell.

Oh well, my thought has been disturbed so I will have to continue later. I'm out of the writing mood because someone wants to bring up these differences we've been having. Even though my away message says do not disturb.

Corella - Bohol / Corellahanon are still proud of him.
September 01, 2009, 12:40:46 PM
We, the Corellahanon are proud of AJ Banal's  victory, Congrats, we are proud of you............, bisag tua na ka karon sa Cebu magpuyo.

CEBU boxing patron Antonio Aldeguer praised the successful performance of AJ “Bazooka” Banal in last Sunday’s “Island Assault” boxing event in Hawaii but also pointed out that there were several flaws the Cebuano boxer needs to work on.

In Banal’s (20-1-1, 6KOs) unanimous decision over Mexican Jose Angel Beranza (32-16-2, 25KOs), Aldeguer observed that there were times in the match when he was too cautious.

Post your prayers and condolences for Cory Aquino's family

Aldeguer said there were rounds, especially in the later parts when Banal could have knocked out Banal but the Ermita, Cebu boxer failed to capitalize on them.

“He was pacing himself too much. There were rounds when he could have sent the Mexican down but he was too cautious. He did not attack as much as he should have,” said Aldeguer.

“I’ll give credit to the Mexican, he’s tough. If it were another boxer, he could have been knocked down,” he added.

Aldeguer said he was still happy with the outcome of the fight especially since he saw that Banal has learned to be more patient unlike in the past when he used up all his energy in the early rounds in the hopes of an early knock down.

“We are contented with the result because AJ learned to be patient. He’s more in the learning stage right now,” Aldeguer added.

Banal’s patience has always been one of the boxer’s weak points, which his trainors at the ALA Stable had been working on. His impatience caused his inability to sustain his energy in his fight against Panamanian Rafael Concepcion in their WBA interim super flyweight title bout last year at the Cebu Coliseum.

In that match, Banal did not have enough patience to pace himself; he gave out his strength in the early rounds until he ran out of power that led to his 10th round TKO loss.

Aldeguer also added that they plan to schedule Banal for another fight this November here in Cebu before he embarks on a bigger campaign in the US. ESL of Sun.Star SuperBalita

Maayo unta ang ibalik ang BSAT aron daghang nga kabataan nga makaenroll sa high school with the basic trade courses.

Sukad nahimo nga CVSCAFT, gamay na lang kaayo naka enroll sa high kay limited ang enrolment. Dili pareha sa among panahon in the early 1960 nga way limit. BSAT is accessible especially to all the poor students.
