Pardon me but I still do not understand all these brouhahas.  Is he considered "persona non grata" because he was caught, well ,by his own doing by taking video of his sex escapades?  How about those butakal or should I say dogs-who-pee-everywhere-kind of public servants?  Should we also issue "persona non grata" to our province?  I mean, I just can't believe our senate is actually spending so much time threshing out all these videos of this doctor. Was it the nature how the sex was done?  Was it the release of the video?  Ano ba talaga, Kuya?

Bene san, here's how I do my kamote top salad:

Steam bunch of kamote tops. If you prefer not to use steamer, just boil water (or you can cheat for better flavor, use clear chicken broth  ;)), season with salt and pepper and dump bunch of kamote tops.  Put the lid on and let steam just enough to wilt the leaves.

Meanwhile, mix half and half mixture of vinegar and lemon/kalamansi juice (or you can use all vinegar or all lemon/kalamansi juice, whichever you prefer), finely diced tomatoes, ginger and scallions, soy sauce or salt and pepper to taste.  Mix the wilted kamote tops.  Serve warm.  To kick it up a notch, you can drizzle olive oil and or sesame oil.  Yum!

Sir Felix, we are actually doing this organic gardening too.  We do not use chemicals for fertilizers.  We use horse manure and compost to enhance our poor soil.

A question to my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ:

What did Jesus tell us regarding to difficulties in the present times, and how can we surmount difficulties? Who can we turn to?
[Please provide scriptural verses, to supplement]

Thanks!
In times of difficulties, I always turn to Him.  I lift it all up to him as he promised to give me rest when the load is heavy.

I hope it's ok to share with you one of my favorite songs to sing especially when time is tough.  By Basil Valdez, Lift Up Your Hands

Life is not all that bad, my friend, hmmm
If you believe in yourself
If you believe there's Someone
Who walks through life without you
You'll never be alone
Just learn to reach out,
And open your heart
Lift up hands to God,
And He'll show you the way.

And He said, "Cast your burdens upon Me
Those who are heavily laden,
Come to Me, all of you who are tired
Of carrying heavy loads,
For the yoke I will give you is easy
And My burden is light,
Come to Me and I will give you rest."

When you feel the world
Is tumblin' down on you,
And you have no one
That you can hold on to,
Just face the rising sun
And you'll see hope,
And there's no need to run
Lift up your hands to God,
And He'll make you feel all right.

And He said, "Cast your burdens upon Me
Those who are heavily laden,
Come to Me, all of you who are tired
Of carrying heavy loads,
For the yoke I will give you is easy
And My burden is light,
Come to Me and I will give you rest."

Aron matilok gyud ang mga maayong sangkap nga makuha sa ga'ay, you can steam the leaves, ayaw pabukali, until ready na for salad preparation. Then kadtong tubig nga masangga himoa nga drink, pwede with tea, or butangan lang og gamayng sugar ug lemonsito. Refreshing drink jud nuon.

Kods, I steamed my ga'ay but never thought of utilizing the water in steaming the guy.  hmmm, interesting!

One time, I attended a Pinoy party here.  Ga bitbit ko'g ga'ay salad, nah gi simhutan lang kay di man gud common na pagkaon sa mga parties dire.  Maayo unta mo tubo na ning akong kamote gitanom aron naa na pod ko kamote tops straight from my garden.

                              TREES

by: Joyce Kilmer (1886-1918)

THINK that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

Since Grade 3, memorize na kini nako na poem.  I can sing well this one too!

how can u leave it to the law when it is the law itself not sending reports to next in command will not investergate and try to keep the case closed ,so you have problems making the links with police ,murderer, and the wifes family ,and yet other police forces agree that she is the main suspect but cannot interveine as its protacol

you have a respected embassy that can follow this up.  and who is the family of Martin's wife anyway that is so untouchable. is she the president's daughter?

if a son of a senator in the Philippines  is in jail for murder, or a congressman was in jail for statutory rape, among other important personalities, i don't think the clout of martin's wife is that powerful to bypass all the evidences presented to the court.  i understand martin has the best lawyer so he can well take care of this since you seem to be so convinced that you have all the pertinent information to nail down the wife of martin as you guys always claim.  when we were young, somebody attempted to kill my father.  we were nobody and yet the suspect landed in jail.  we didn't have money to pursue the case and yet justice prevailed.  so have a little faith that justice will be served, if it hasn't yet.

We are staying in Sta Monica Ocean View  (im watching facing the pacific ocean hoping to see the philippine island! ahahaha! and i met my Boss wife today and had lunch in Osterria Lattini in Brentwood. Tomorrow Me and banana will visit my boss grave and have early dinner with her again  then from that we dont do nothing but fuzz around the city (this is banana's second time in LA so he has to see the places he missed the last time).

Mikey i might stop by your job site if we get to that area. I have one friend to meet on Wednesday for a Chinese lunch. Then we will go back to Vegas on Thursday until the end of May.

That's okay, Maring.  There's always another time and change.  The right one.

It will be headlined- THIS WILL HAPPEN TO YOU IF YOU STEP FOOT IN BOHOL. Your choice you decided to make us fight even harder.

Martin must be so proud of how you behave, Steve!  Read your post very carefully.  You fight for what is right and not because somebody poked your you know what.  And who made you fight again?  Behave!  No one's fighting you.  We are not babies here fighting for candy.  Discuss issues decently and fairly.  Make Martin proud of you by seeking for his death's justice decently.

I am lucky because I never liked soda/softdrinks since birth.  All my life, I drank two 8 oz. coke because I didn't have choice at that time and I was so thirsty.  We were having fieldtrip and it wasn't safe to drink faucet water so I forced myself to drink coke.

In some States or was it just NY, they have this thing called "Obesity Tax" wherein they added tax to regular sodas.  So bali ang diet sodas walay tax.  :)

wow, thats the nuttiest law ever, so basically you really can just getaway with murder. Can i ask if other people are found to be involved in the murder does she have to be the one to file the charges against them ? What am trying to say is - she just cant turn round and say no i dont want to file charges against them , say for instance she knows them.  Also just say the wife was found to be behind the murder, who then files the charges against her ? Would that be Martins family ?

And you believe that?  FYI to those who claim to know the law but really knows nothing, I don't know much either but I took the most basic law in college. Murder is one of the many cases considered as criminal case.  When it's criminal case,  the plaintiff or the one who files charges, as you call it, is not the family of the victim but the Republic of the Philippines.  In other words, the case becomes, People of the Republic of the Philippines VS. Murderer, and not Martin's Family VS Murderer.

Sir, it's not just Filipinos but also here in America.  They buy lotto tickets with the hope of winning millions and millions of money.  I also hope to win but I don't buy lotto tickets always.

Sounds like a really romantic place. Labay mi next time anha pohon. We're planning on a Mindanao trip from CDO, Bukidnon, Wao (my birthplace) to Davao within the year, ug itugot sa schedule ug budget.

Daghan na bya pod maayo'g laagan didto, Bene san.  Naa pod dapit sa Gusa before mo mosaka or after mo galaag sa Malasag Eco Village, naa pod Coco Bay.  Yummy pod to ilang food pero kon na maintain lagi pod nila.  However, Eco Village also has a good restaurant.  Don't miss their halo-halo!

Lisod na ra ba mangitag katabang ron nga kugihan ug tarong. Busa kung naa kay maayong katabang, treat her well or be ready to help yourself. Ngano bitaw bisag kanang kusog mangbiay-biay sa kaugalingon katabang apil-apil pud ug kondenar ni Tsao. We should also ask ourselves if we treat our own domestic helpers any better.

Korek, Bene san.  I know some people na gailahi nila ilang helpers ug pagkaon and they are treated unfairly.  I want to believe I am especially kind to domestic helpers.  My mother was my father's family's househelper and I knew she was treated well too.

Nag-suggest bitaw namo ang taxi driver usa ka restaurant daw nga popular hangout ug gabi sa Opol. Anyone who has been to this place?

Bene san, kanang Tabing Dagat Restaurant, if that is still available was one of the best places to go.  Didto jud ko sa tumoy anang restaurant where I can see fishes down under.  Naa pod sa Mirabella Hotel and Restaurant, super chada pod.  Lami kaayo didto after mo mag dinner ni Lynne, mag walking mo by the beach.  The sand is not as white as in Panglao but good enough.

Thanks, Father!  I had great time jud.  Yesterday, my sister and I attended mass before I left for Sacramento.  Didto mi sa Precious Blood Church.  That was one mass I will always remember.  Pastilan jud I couldn't contain myself, naka drama jud ko'g hilak.  99.9% sa nag attend adtong 9:30 mass were Pinoys.  The choir was composed of oldie Pinoys, too,, and yes, some songs were Tagalog.  Altar and other servers were Pinoys and so was the Priest - a certain Father Trinidad from Don Bosco.  He delivered one of the best sermons.

What was so heartwarming was to see younger people greeting the older people in the church with a Mano.  That really reminds me of home.  I missed that.

(Kana bang secret ingredients nga wa sa recipe)

hahahahah

Or, kanang mo anha ka'g restaurant unya dili  polite mag request sa mga waiters and waitresses!  You just don't know what "secret ingredients" can get to your drinks or your entree! Pastilan gajud!

listening to Ps 23

Glace, while in L.A., my elder sister and I went to have hair cut at a parlor owned by Guatemalan couple.  While seated on the high chair, in front of me was a quote of Psalm 23.  Kaso lang in Spanish and so I reread the Psalm once we got home.  Nice kaayo!
