Inspiration & Hope / Re: Kates Poem
March 10, 2010, 07:11:41 AM
wow, really touchy, it's a fact of life

Nia koy ipono bahin aning padulong na ta katiguwang; read on

Everything has changed, but I think I'm the same

Who has changed everything when I was not looking?
I noticed lately that everything is farther away than it used to be.
It's even twice as far to the corner and they have added a hill.

I've given up running for the bus; it leaves earlier than it used to.
I seems to me they are making the stairs steeper than in the old days.
And haven't you noticed the smaller print the newspapers are now using?
There's no sense asking anyone to read aloud anymore, as everyone speaks
in such a low voice I can hardly hear them.

The materials in dresses are so skimpy now, especially around the waist and hips;
it's almost impossible to reach one's shoelaces!
Also, the sizes don't run the way they used to, the 12s and 14s are much smaller.

Even people are changing. They are so much younger than they used to be
 when I was their age.
On the other hand, people my own age are so much older than I am.
I ran into an old classmate the other day, and she had aged so much
  she didn't recognize me.

I got to thinking about my poor dear friend while I was combing my  hair
this morning and so doing, I glanced at my own reflection.

They don't even make mirrors like they used to.

There is no Panacea on this world if that's what you mean.
Every nationalities have their own flaws since nobody's perfect.

If the title will be changed to  the word"foreign" then every foreigners in the Philippines
will get offended and all eyes will be on them as if people will say, " that must be the bigamous foreigner"
and I'm pretty sure you will go berserk also, since you are not the culprit.

To exactly mention their country of origin especially if they commit a crime is not racist
it has nothing to do with his race at all.
It needs to be mentioned so as to alert the public.
Remind you also that the Philippines is not a pluralistic society and their laws is not the same as in the U.S.

As the word racist is openly used here in the U.S. in certain group of people as a defense
mechanism when they got trap for illegal issue and no other reason to offer to bail them out,
though oftentimes discrimination is obvious but not verbally implied.

"Be careful of the words you say,
          To keep them soft and sweet;
You never know from day to day
Which ones you'll have to eat!"

Though getting a degree and passing the board are the key points to get a job
but as usual our country the Philippines are putting more graduates than the market demands.
Going abroad is  the only options for those who gets lucky in making it through
   the required exams.

With today's economy in a shaky grounds, the Health care jobs are also at halt.
Here in the hospital in the U.S. where I work, they freeze the hiring since last September
while waiting for the outcome of the Health Care plan that is still ongoing in the Senate.
Many workers in this hospital went to school while working to become RN's but no jobs
for them after making it through, that they have to leave and look somewhere else.

LGU Philippines / Re: House of Manny Villar
March 02, 2010, 05:15:29 AM

The mansion depicted in these photographs is not Mugabe's residence at all.
In fact, the very same set of photographs has also circulated in protest messages decrying
the opulent lifestyles of other political leaders and celebrities.
One version claims that the home belongs to President Pervaiz Musharraf of Pakistan.
Another claims that the mansion is the home of former Nigerian ruler Ibrahim Babangida.
Yet another version suggests that the photographs show the home of former Secretary
of Health Care of Azerbaijan, Russia.
And, finally, many references, including a YouTube video, claim that the home belongs to
  Bollywood superstar, Shahrukh Khan.

In fact, all these claims are false. The mansion in the photographs is actually a home
located in the wealthy community of Bell Air, Los Angeles.
The mansion is available as a location for film, television and commercial shoots and
is featured as such on the website of location manager, Toni Maier.
Thus, there is no truth in the story that the mansion in the photographs belongs to Mugabe.
And, in any case, an ariel shot of Mugabe's partially completed mansion in Harare shows
a building quite different to the one depicted in these photographs.

Some commentators have claimed that the mansion belongs to Mugabe's cousin Philippe Chiyangwa.
However, this claim is also untrue.
News photographs of Chiyangwa's mansion show a residence with a different style
and aspect than that of the mansion shown in the above photographs.

Although the photographs do not show Mugabe's residence, various news
reports indicate that, for several years, he has been building himself a lavish mansion
while a great many of his people live under terrible conditions.
The controversial leader also has other luxurious residences.

If I could live in another time, another place and to be someone else then
I would like to be one of the Godly woman in the Bible  like Esther.

BC 479 = Esther appears in the Bible as a "woman of deep piety, faith, courage,
patriotism, and caution, combined with resolution; a dutiful daughter
to her adopted father, docile and obedient to his counsels, and anxious
to share the king's favor with him for the good of the Jewish people.
There must have been a singular grace and charm in her aspect and
manners, since “she obtained favor in the sight of all them that
               looked upon her” (Esther 2:15).

If these  rapes and killings actually took place and the people that did it are known,
why the police just ignore it as if nothing happens?

Two men were walking home after a Halloween party and decided to take a shortcut
through the cemetery just for laughs.
Right in the middle of the cemetery they were startled by a tap-tap-tapping noise
    coming from the misty shadows.
Trembling with fear, they found an old man with a hammer and chisel, chipping away
     at one of the headstones.
“Whew!, Mister,” one of them said after catching his breath, “You scared us half to death
â€" we thought you were a ghost!
"What are you doing working here so late at night?”
“Those fools!” the old man grumbled.

Mega doses of prophylaxis  antibiotic for life and oftentimes the kidney will give up
and sometimes develop resistance to certain antibiotic and when their
immunity is compromised  the opportunistic infection could set in.

One thing about these kind of patients kay diri sa U.S. dili pabutangan ug
room nga unta mananakod man ni ilang sakit.

and of course cover up morag astronaut hahaha, gowns, gloves,

It reminds of one cardiologist gikan sa Taiwan to siya ug iya gisuwat sa chart

It's called marmoset.
Marmosets are the 25 New World monkey species of the genera Callithrix, Cebuella, Callibella, and Mico.
All four genera are part of the biological family Callitrichidae.
The term marmoset is also used in reference to the Goeldi's Monkey, Callimico goeldii, which is closely related.

Most marmosets are about 20 centimetres (8 in) long.
Relative to other monkeys, they show some apparently primitive features: they have
claws rather than nails, and tactile hairs on their wrists.
They lack wisdom teeth, and their brain layout seems to be relatively primitive.
Their body temperature is unusually variable, changing by up to 4 °C (7 °F) in a day.

“Do not say FATHER if every day you do not behave like a son or daughter.
Do not say OUR if you live isolated in your egoism.
Do not say WHO ARE IN HEAVEN if you think only of earthly things.
Do not say HOLY BE YOUR NAME if you do not honor Him.
Do not say YOUR KINGDOM COME if you confuse Him with material success.
Do not say YOUR WILL BE DONE if you do not accept it when it is painful.
Do not say GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD if you are not worried about the people who are hungry, who are without culture and means to live.
Do not say FORGIVE US OUR SINS if you bear your brother a grudge.
Do not say AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION if you intend to keep on sinning.
Do not say DELIVER US FROM EVIL if you do not take position against evil.
Do not say AMEN if you do not take the words of the OUR FATHER seriously.”

mosimba dayong apil ug kanta, "Oh how I love Jesus"
Hypocrite!  bisan ang Ginoo milingiw

"But your iniquities have separated between you and your God,
and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear" Isaiah 59:2

generation then after a while  as the saying goes, history
repeats itself, macorrupted lang gihapon, a never ending loop.

Pinas ?

Sometimes diseases are just psychological or real, painful and deadly and treatment with the
latest and most expensive drug or other medical technology or procedure is highly desirable.
Though there are cases  where a person's health problems are so mild or temporary that doing
  nothing is the best option.

  hilabihan kaisog ug kamangtas

Gihiwa sa kutsilyo sa pagluib
   ang  kahapdos dili matukib

Uban sa kapait sa apdo sa kasakit
  ang kalipay kalit mingitngit

Walay tambal nga makahupay
 pulos dangoyngoy sa pagmahay

Badlis sa kapalaran
  nagbilin ug uwat handumanan

Sa gugmang nipalayo ug nahanaw
kay gilangkat ug gigun-ob ni alindahaw.

How true that is, in the medical field there is no room for error,
though its documented the med errors that happened many
times over.
Full attention needs to be on the patient to be treated as a
human being not as an object though in the third world
country like the Philippines ang mga  way kwarta  lahi
ang treatment kay sa naay ikabayad.

Pero diri sa U.S. makiha ka diretso, I can testify into this
because last year sa akong  gitrabahoan naapil ko sa
gitawag for deposition kay may patient sa among unit
namatay, gigukod sa pamilya ang  ospital.

Wala  mamatay sa akong shift  pero as a witness kay days
ago before the incident, usa ko sa mga nurse niya.
But to make it short, na settle ra before miatubang sa
 court.

Thank the Lord for His  help once again.

It's wrong!
Interrupting a work-related discussion just
to get attention by asking personal question
  is rude and unethical.
Namasin makabana ug doctor kuwang sa disiplina
  tong bayhana.
