i might go to puerto princesa, lorenz, but only for its underground river, not because i believe the place is exquisite.
#26005
aaahhh, exquisite.  used to describe a person, it means one who is "affectedly concerned with appearance".  it's one step below conceit.  otherwise, it simply means "extremely beautiful, delicate, fine, dainty, dude, dandy, fop".  it also means "lavishly elegant, refined".  a word of caution; using exquisite as an adjective is deemed uncommon, which is how it is used vis-a-vis puerto princesa in this tourist come-on blurb.
#26006
exquisite?  puerto princesa is exquisite?  tagbilaran then must be utterly poetic.

that city better deliver what it promises.  using exquisite to describe any philippine urban area is like saying that the chocolate hills are edible.

sa didto ko wa gyod ko kahunahuna ug adto ug gold souq, to think nga duol ra mi sa biggest gold souq didto.  not that i don't like gold, of course i do for all its worth.

adtong panahona, i did not only find the gold displays gaudy bisag pictures lang ang akong basihan, maka-discourage pod ang jewelry nga gamiton sa mga indians (no offense meant), who are the majority in the uae.  walking christmas trees man intawon ang akong tinan-awan nila.

nakahunahuna pod ko nga gold is a dead investment (magkapuliki pa kog baligya kun magkalisod) compared to cash.  karon nga wa na ko didto ug wa pa gyoy cash, you bet nagmahay ko.  on the other hand, what for?

kujawa gajud ani bai hubs oi..hahaha..mura mag true!..:)

true gyod ni.  naa man pod ko cats nga named after the three kings kay napunitan nako silang tulo ka helpless siblings many three kings ago.

namatay ug una sa balthazar nga nagkamatay sad kog hinilak.  mora to siyag tourist attraction tungod sa katambok, mga tawo nga moadto sa amo ug motan-aw siya gyod ang pangayoon.  opkors naman, di gyod nako ihatag.  moingon lang kog pamunit mog homeless cats and kittens unya alimahi kay tanang iring mogwapo basta alimahan.  siya ang nakapatagam nako nga di na magpatambok ug iring.  he died at 6 years old of cardiac arrest and kidney malfunction.

balthazar's death was followed by melchor's months later, for the same reasons.  di gyod diay maayo ning kargahan ang iring ug dry cat food kay naa gyoy epekto sa kidney intawon.  mas maayo ang mixed diet, naay kan-on pod ug boneless fish and sliced kangkong.

melchor's death caused my sister to get wild at the veterinary clinic.  pag-adto niya to claim the body, nanago intawon ang staff, driver ray niatubang niya.

karon si gaspar na lang intawon ang nahibilin sa among three cat kings.  he underwent a period of depression pa ra ba kay one week nga wa mokaon, luoy kaayo.  kanunay na lang sabakon hangtod iyang nadawat nga wa na ang iyang mga igsoon.

p.s. wa gyod hinoon sila nako koronahe.  ambot diin si raquel ug korona ug iring kay iya mang nakoronahan iyang iring nga si glutathione.

Ngana sad ko. In fact gapatutho sad ko didto sa Bogo when I had shingles (likos- likos) about 8-10 years ago. Di ka patutho... akong amigo taga Loon too-toohon kaayo, basta molikos na ang likos2 either sa liog or lawas or paa sigurado daw jud matigbak ka. Bang! Patutho dayon si Fro!!! Then dretso Chong Hua to see my lady doctor. Gikasab-an noon ko kay too-toohon bwahahaha!

When I got back to the U.S. that's when I learned that shingles can only be attacked by certain special medicines kay epekto man diay nis chicken pox virus that's already in your system. It's deep-seated sa imong immune system or something!

Ang tutho, I mean, laway sa
mananambal kay ibabaw ras panit kutob hehehe

hehehe, favorite disease sad nako nang shingles.  nagpatutho ko in the old days sa usa ka popular faith healer sa guadalupe sa cebu city.  taktak gyod dayon ang scabs ato, with no trace of scars.  but it didn't mean that those shingles didn't come back now and then.

bilib gyod hinoon ko ato nga faith healer who became my friend.  she was a nurse by profession but she stopped working as one when her "road to damascus" moment came, that is, the sto. niño de cebu image that she was bringing to manila in a ship came down from the overhead baggage shelf, where she stored it, and told her in no uncertain terms that her mission in life is to help others heal, for free.  arang hilak gyod kuno niya.  it took her over a year to decide to follow those "instructions" because she was so afraid.

well, while some doctors have indeed credited mx-3 with curative powers, my own niece who's a doctor had this to say: there are those who depend only on mx-3 while their diseases that need immediate surgery get worse.

that's why i've always believed in inclusive treatments, from alleged myths like those in siquijor (i've tried those, and they work as faith healing works), homeopathy, acupuncture, science and medicine, diet, and prayers.  no stone is left unturned.  kun naay motutho, sugot lang gihapon koh.
#26026
hehe, this is one h*ll of a testimonial, loll.  i hope the increase in cysts wasn't credited to mx-3 with certainty.
#26027
am i an mx-3 user?  yes, with a once-a-day dosage.  is it effective?  i can't really say with certainty, unlike those testimonials in the ads that i read that include testimonials from doctors.  what i can say is that my sinusitis attacks have been markedly lessened since i made mx-3 a morning habit, though i'm hesitant to credit it entirely to mx-3.  but what perfect timing if it weren't so.
#26028

Patti Page Dies at 85; Music Legend of 1950s Due Lifetime Grammy Honors

Page, who lived at an Encinitas nursing home, sang "How Much Is That Doggie in the Window?"

By Ken Stone

Funeral services were pending Wednesday for singer Patti Page, a music legend best known for The Tennessee Waltz.

Page died at an Encinitas nursing home Tuesday at age 85, according to NBC7/39 and Seacrest Village Retirement Communities, where she lived. The New York Times quoted Page on her enduring nice-girl image:

In 1988, when she was 60, she told The Times: “I’m sure there are a lot of things I should have done differently. But I don’t think I’ve stepped on anyone along the way. If I have, I didn’t mean to.”

She had been set to receive a lifetime achievement honor at the Grammy Awards next monthâ€"as was longtime Encinitas resident Ravi Shankar, an Indian sitar virtuoso who died Dec. 11, just one day before it was announced he would be recognized at the Grammys in February.

State troopers said the positioning of Jesse’s body was consistent with him running into the gun fire â€" not away. And that he likely helped other kids try to escape.
