I don't know any Sales, but I am also part of the Salise Clan.

by way of my grandfather, Mr. Casiano Salise Salvo of Valencia, Bohol.

My great-grandmother, the late Mrs. Dionisia Salise-Salvo, was part of the Salise Clan.

Sales is a common surname in Valencia, Bohol.

I think it would be in the best interest for the United States to stay out of Egypt's political quagmire right now. Obama should focus on the failing American economy, lest he pledges more billions of our tax payer money to be sent abroad...

Fix our homefront first before entangling ourselves further in foreign affairs.

Bible Study / Re: Question: "What is Iglesia ni Cristo?"
February 05, 2011, 04:19:12 AM
pero tinuod man ni, nong. i respect their faith in the resurrection and their belief in christ, which is integral to salvation.

i respect protestants, however, the bible that they use to debate or read is incomplete. harsh sounding ahong interjection, pero tinuod. the theological notion of sola scriptura, a protestant ideology coined by martin luther and later adopted by the legion of protestant denominations is flawed to begin with.

1. sola scriptura states that the bible, alone, is necessary and legitimate for teaching. traditions are obstacles.
   1b. this is where the evangelical notion of 'Literal Biblical' mandate comes from: literal biblical interpretation

2. sola scriptura, on basis of theological authority , is flawed.

Why? Sola scriptura, as a theological protestant doctrine, only regards the protestant bible as its source of guide. but this protestant bible, is in itself incomplete, and thus an adulterated version of the complete form, the catholic bible.

The protestant bible lacks 7 books: Tobit, Judith, Baruch, Wisdom, Sirach, 1 and 2 Maccabees, and parts of Esther and Daniel. Luther removed them because he thought it supported Catholic teachings and countered his protestant reformist beliefs and teachings.

It is impossible to debate with protestants properly because the bible that they read and interpret Literally is in itself, un-literal and incomplete, adulterated.

The only Church who HAS the authority to compile the pre-reformist holy bible was the Holy Roman Catholic Church. The very Church who claims authority directly from Christ Jesus. This same Church, The Catholic Church, STILL holds that Authority.

~~

16 Jesus said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. 18 And

I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock  I will build my church, and the gates of hell  shall not prevail against it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed  in heaven.” 20 Then he strictly charged the disciples to tell no one that he was the Christ.

Their translations of the bible is faulty as it is adulterated. Traditions of teaching the Word of God is fully legitimized;

This is true. Lately nakakita ko ug programming sa INC ug pirme ra gajud ginaatake ang RCC. Worst, to prove their claim that they are the one true Church, ginarefer nila ang mga works sa Catholic Priests nga may nakasuwat nga CHURCH OF CHRIST.

Its purely condemnatory. Any 'church' that is condemnatory in nature cannot fulfill the salvation works of Christ's earthly ministry.

Any so called 'church' who denies the Divinity of Jesus Christ, and also denies the Holy Trinity, is not a Christian Church. Its leader is the modern example of the heretic Simon Magnus.

The truth hurts. But the Truth must be said. May God have mercy on those who perpetuate their falsehood.

nalupigan man god ka-bright bahin sa bibliya ang inc's best and brightest... taod-taod ani, kun magkalisod, hagiton na si soriano ug sinumbagay.

debate bahin ug bibliya, one-on-one unta, wa man mosukol ang kanhing inc top honcho (probably the one who died in 2009).  nagpadala sa ilang best and brightest ministers, paskang, bibliya man untay hisgotan, kalit man lang ug saliat ang usa nila ug ingon kang soriano nga b@yot siya.  i concluded that the inc is too belligerent for comfort.  why are they insecure about other religions?

There is no debate. How can any other denominations debate the bible with the Roman Catholic Church?

The Catholic Church wrote and compiled the Bible. By the authority of the chair of Pope Peter, whom CHRIST JESUS WHO IS LORD, gave authority over His Church.

Bible Scholars who debase the Catholic Church are debating with their incomplete versions of the Bible. The Protestant Bible, under scheming auspices of Martin Luther, removed 7 books from the Original Bible, so as to legitimize his protestant claims and remove any books that supported the teachings, ministry of CATHOLICA ECCLESIA.

If they want to debate, ask them to read the Complete Bible , its purest and unadulterated form: The Roman Catholic Bible.

INC is not a church, but is a heretic cult. May God open the eyes of its members.

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

There is no life - no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up... To more than I can be.

I agree and the transfer of religious beliefs is probable because their religious tradition is with us today blending with the catholic belief.

The word Bisaya comes from Sri Vijaya. This was an empire occupying Indonesia before the Majapahit took over and drove the Vijayan away from Indonesia. Some of them landed in Bohol and their language are a common usage among us Boholanos. For example is the town of Candijay. Where did the word Candijay came from? Since their is no written history about the Vijayan we'll just resort to listening to some legendary stories that Candijay comes from "kang dihay". But in my opinion Candijay comes from Sanskrit. Candi means temple and jaya means victory.

Indeed there is definitely a transference in the cultural milieu: religious, lingual and politics. During the height of pre-hispanic Philippines, there were multiple princely states known as Rajanates, and at the helm were the Rajah. An example was the Rajanate of Maynilad and its ruler was Rajah Lankadula. Another example would be the Rajanate of Sibu, which was ruled by Rajah Humabon.

The word Rajah is the Hindi word for 'king' or 'ruler'. In fact, there is a region, a state, in India that is called 'RAJASTHAN' , which means "the Land of Kings". During the reign of the Mugal Empire of India, the sovereign was called "MAHA RAJAH", which roughly translates as "King of Kings".

There was heavy Indian, Arabic as well as Chinese influence in the Philippines prior to the arrival of the Spaniards and the subsequent Christianization and ultimately Hispanization of the Philippines.
