Anak ni Manong Lindy!

Poor little girl.  She must have had fought so hard for her life. 

And poor the parents especially the father.  He will forever carry in his heart the he inadvertently killed his own daughter. 

Pareho ra ni story of a father who ran over his only child kay ning sunod diay pag gawas.  I have seen this kind of news over and over here.  The latest, and uncle ang naka atras sa baby kay wa nabantayi na ning sunod diay pag gawas.  Pagkakita sa iyang uncle and especially when he learned that his nephew was dead, na collapse tawon oi!  Mao ni klase na news na maka depress!

currently making dinner:  roasted vegetables (beets, carrots, eggplant and yellow squash) freshly harvested from my garden.  parisan dayon ug madijo na chicken breast.  payts na.

What you heard that there are many people in the Phils is for the restoration of the death penalty is correct, but there are as many people who opposed on it either.  Meaning, there's a mixed feeling about the issue.  That's probably why it was never easy to restore it once it was abolished, I believed, in 2006.

Sayo pa ko ga tikaw-tikaw aning kalibutana karong adlawa.  I went for a walk to go to the church and after mass helped in our church's Bereavement Ministry prepare lunch for the family who lost a loved one. We served close to a hundred people.  I was working up to 3 p.m. My body is so tired but I feel good. Two more funeral reception to do this week in our Bereavement Ministry, one tomorrow and one on Thursday.  Maayo na lang wala sa Wednesday kay Feed the needy day.

The Los Angeles Times confirms that the King of Pop, 50-year-old Michael Jackson, has died after a cardiac episode in Los Angeles. Jackson was reportedly rushed to UCLA Medical Center this afternoon; paramedics reported that Jackson was not breathing when he arrived at the hospital.  NBC News and other sources have also confirmed the singer's death.

His death comes just days before the scheduled start of his 50-date tour at London's O2 Arena.  Story developing.

I am happy for this kid and for his family.  Some kids here were not as lucky as this kid.  Almost everyday you see kids doing stupid things here like drowning in the river for defying rules, or of involving themselves in gang activities.  Other kids just got killed because of the stupid things some kids do.

My view is that  if we go for "an eye for an eye",there will be no end to violence.  It is not our right as victims to curtail a life of a human being, no matter what the crime may be. That's the reason why we have laws. If some people wronged us gravely, then we report to the authorities but we shouldn't take matters into our own hands.

Naa man jud time na maka stay ug hotel especially kon bakasyonista na ta's ato unya mo adto ta sa island.  I have no problem with that.  I have issue however if one says na "walay polos ang mga taga ato" kay di ka afford aning mga mamahalin na hotels.  I just don't like the words na walay polos kay negative kaayo ang connotation.  We locals of Bohol will enjoy Bohol the best way we can and if those huge hotels  are too expensive for us, pwes ila na lang na ilang hotel.  pastilan pod $4k per day!  Daghan naman ta'g matabangan ana na kantidad oi! Bisan pa siguro'g kadaog ko'g lotto, di ko mo bayad ana ka mahal.  but then again, it's all a matter of preference ug sa maka afford ra pod lagi.
