It is true that true love never dies. If you let the person go and the person comes back to you, then it was true love. If you let the person go and the person doesn't come back, then it was never meant to be.

Quotable Quotes / Re: CHARACTER OR REPUTATION?
August 05, 2007, 09:10:53 PM
character is who you actually are, while your reputation can be so many things you aren't. people don't always know the whole story, and when the word gets around about who you are in people's minds, it isn't really a reflection of the truth.

your reputation could be a mirror image of your character, but that's only if people don't judge you from what they hear or see.

the better of the two is definitely character. It's who you are in your life and what you think of yourself. not what random people think..

A statue in a park with a soldier on a horse with its 3 feet in the air means the soldier died in combat., If the horse has only 1 foot in the air, the soldier died of injuries from combat. If the horse has all 4 feet on the ground, the soldier died of naturals causes.

A chewing gum which contains extracts from the Pueraria mirifica (Kwao Krua) plant, makes a woman's breasts grow as well as improving their shape and tone, says B2UP, the makers of its Bust-Up gum.

The company also claims the gum fights ageing, reduces stress and helps your circulation. They say the extracts keep your muscles in good order.

Pueraria mirifica is indigenous to Thailand and Burma and has been used for hundreds of years for its medicinal purposes. The plant contains phytoestrogens, a chemical which acts in a similar way to oestrogen.

Bust-Up gum has become extremely popular in Japan.

Love Talk / 50 Pesos Isang Oras
August 03, 2007, 09:27:33 PM
forwarded email from a friend..

walang kwentang laruan o walang katuturang ibang bagay, mabuti pa

Apelyidong Uy, Lim, Tan, Co, Go,
Chua, Chi, Sy, Wy, at kung anu-ano pa. Pero sa kanilang lahat kay
Gilbert Go ako naging malapit.

"... "Bakit saan mo ba narinig 'yan?".

Paumanhin po sa mga Tsinoys dito.. PEACE!

Love Talk / I am worth a lot!
August 03, 2007, 08:57:21 PM
In a brief conversation, a man asked a woman he was pursuing the
question, "What kind of man are you looking for?"

She sat quietly for a moment before looking him in the eye and asking,
"Do you really want to know?"

Reluctantly, he said, "Yes."

She began to expound...

"As a woman in this day and age, I am in a position to ask a man what he can
do for me that I can't do for myself. I pay my own bills. I take care of my
household without the help of any man...or woman for that matter. I am in
the position to ask, "What can you bring to the table?"

The man looked at her. Clearly he thought that she was referring to money.

She quickly corrected his thought and stated, "I am not referring to money.
I need something more."

"I need a man who is striving for perfection in every aspect of life."

He sat back in his chair, folded his arms, and asked her to explain.

She said, "I am looking for someone who is striving for perfection mentally
because I need conversation and mental stimulation. I don't need a
simple-minded man."

"I am looking for someone who is striving for perfection spiritually because
I don't need to be unequally yoked... believers mixed with unbelievers is a
recipe for disaster."

"I need a man who is striving for perfection financially because I don't
need a financial burden. I am looking for someone who is sensitive enough to
Understand what I go through as a woman, but strong enough to keep me
grounded."

"I am looking for someone who I can respect. In order to be submissive, I
must respect him. I cannot be submissive to a man who isn't taking care of
his business. I have no problem being submissive.. . he just has to be
worthy. God made woman to be a helpmate for man. I can't help a man if he
can't help himself."

When she finished her spiel, she looked at him. He sat there with a puzzled
look on his face. He said, " You're asking a lot."

She replied, "I'm worth a lot."

Share this to every woman who's worth a lot and every man who needs to know that.

DEAR SANO ug SANA,

The following was written by INTEL General Manager Robin Martin about the Philippines :Filipinos (including the press, business peopleand myself) tend to dwell too much on the negative side, and this affects the perception of foreigners, even the ones who have lived here for a while.
The negative perception of the Philippines is way disproportionate to reality when compared to countries like Columbia , Egypt , Middle East , Africa , etc.

Let us all help our country by balancing the negative with the positive especially when we talk to foreigners, whether based here or abroad.
Looking back and comparing the Philippines today and 1995 (the year I came back), I was struckby how much our
country has progressed physically.

Consider the following:

1. The great telecom infrastructure that we have now did not exist in 1995. 1995 was the year the telecom industry was deregulated. Since then billions of dollars have been invested in both fixed line and cellular networks producing a system with over 5,000 kms of fiber optic backbone at a world competitivecost. From a fixed line capacity of about 900,000 in 1995 we now have over 7 million. Cellular phones practically did not exist in 1995; now we have over 11 million line capacity.

2. The MRT, many of the EDSA flyovers (including the Ayala Avenue flyover), the SKYWAY, Rockwell and Glorietta 4, the
Fort, NAIA terminal 2 and most of the new skyscrapers were not yet built in 1995.

3. If you drive to the provinces, you will notice that nationalroads are now of good quality (international quality asphalt roads).

4. Philippine exports have increased by 600% over the past eight years. There are many, many more examples of progress over the last eight years. Philippine mangoes are now exported to the US and Europe.

Additional tidbits to make our people prouder:
1. INTEL has been in the Philippines for 28 years. The Philippines plant is where Intel's most advanced products are launched, including the Pentium IV. By the end of 2002, Philippine operations became Intel's biggest assembly and testingoperations worldwide.

2. TEXAS INSTRUMENTS has been operating in Baguio for over 20 years. The Baguio plant is the largest producer of DSP chips in the world. DSP chips are the brains behind cellphones.T.I's Baguio plant produces the chip that powers 100% of all NOKIA cellphones and 80% of Erickson cellphones in the world.

3. TOSHIBA laptops are produced in Santa Rosa , Laguna.

4. If you drive a BENZ, BMW, or a VOLVO, there is a good chance that the ABS system in your car was made in thePhilippines

5. TREND-MICRO, makers of one of the top anti virus software PC-Cillin (I may have mispelled this) develops its "cures" for viruses right here in Eastwood Libis, Quezon City . When a virus breaks in any computer system in the world, they try to find a solution within 45 minutes of finding the virus.

6 . Today a majority of the top ten U.S. Call Center firms in the U.S. have set up operations in the Philippines . This is one area in which I believe we are the best in the world in terms of value for money.

7. America Online (AOL) has 1,000 people in Clark answering 90% of
AOL's global e-mail inquiries.

8. PROCTOR & GAMBLE has over 400 people right here in Makati (average age 23 years) doing back-up office work to their Asian operations including finance, accounting,Human Resources and payments processing.

9. Among many other things it does for its regional operations network in the Asia-Pacific region here in Manila , CITIBANK also does its global ATM programming locally.

In ancient England, people could not have sex without consent from the KING, when people wanted to have a child, they had to solicit a permission to the Monarchy, in turn they would supply a plaque to hang on their door when they had sexual relation...

The Plaque read..."FORNIFICATION UNDER CONSENT of the KING" ( F.U.C.K. )

During the last couple of weeks, we have witnessed the strengthening of the peso against the dollar. Whether this strengthening is real or artificial does not matter. The fact is that the pesos' strengthening has adversely affected the Overseas Filipinos and their families.

In school we were taught that a strong peso means higher purchasing power. In layman's term it simply means that with a strong peso we should be able to buy more goods and services. If that statement is true, the decrease in the dollar's exchange rate should therefore not worry the
families of Overseas Filipinos in the Philippines since the decrease will be cancelled out by an equivalent decrease in the prices of goods and services.

However the laws of economics do not seem to apply in the Philippines. While the government has continuously announced that the economy is improving, this is not being felt at all by the consumer sector. In fact, instead of prices going down, prices of prime commodities continue to
rise. The failure of the 'strong peso' to provide better purchasing power has caused a double edged problem to the Overseas Filipinos and their families.

To maintain the present peso equivalent of their dollar remittances, Overseas Filipinos have to tighten their belts to be able to remit more dollars to their families back home. In the Philippines, the families of Overseas Filipinos also have to tighten their belts to make the
best of what they received from family members abroad.

But to Secretary Neri, Overseas Filipinos should even be thankful
because they are not being taxed anyway, obviously referring to the aborted plan to tax the Overseas Filipinos' income. To him it is more important for government to provide a peso-dollar protection for the Filipino exporters because their peso earnings are getting smaller, unlike
the overseas Filipinos whose remittances are, according to him, getting higher due to better quality jobs they land into. Neri sees the diminishing income of the export sector, but his eyes are closed to the Overseas Filipinos' dilemma. He thinks that the remittances are getting higher
because Overseas Filipinos get higher pay for better jobs, but fails to see that Overseas Filipinos have to send more dollars to maintain the peso equivalent of what families back home are receiving.

I wonder what could be the reason why it is too easy for cabinet members like Neri to belittle us Overseas Filipinos. They are aware that there are millions of us spread all over the globe; they know that if we want we can bring down the economy, and make the government officials fall
to their knees; they know that if we cut our remittances by half for three consecutive months we can bring back the exchange rate to 56 pesos to the dollar or even higher and make the members of the Makati Business Club cry; they know that at any point in time we can make or break a
sitting President. Yet why are they so brave to give us so little importance, if any?

My history teacher in high school once told us that there is power in numbers. I believe him because I have seen it worked in several occasions, most recent of which are the two impeachment cases filed against GMA. Those two cases did not prosper because the opposition in the lower house did not have the number of votes needed.

How about us Overseas Filipinos, do we have the strength in number that would make Malacanang tremble? The latest estimate places the number of Overseas Filipinos to about eight million. If on the average there are three voting members in each Overseas Filipino family, the eight million will easily translate to twenty four million votes - enough to send apresidential
candidate to Malacanang. Do we have the number? The answer of course is yes. Yes we have the number, but we do not have the strength!

I know it is sad to admit that while we Overseas Filipinos have all the power in our hands, we have not been able to use it. The reason is because up to now, we are still so disorganized; we are just like broomsticks scattered on the floor sometimes stepped on, sometimes kicked to the corners, sometimes picked up and broken into pieces. And for as long as we remain scattered, the high and mighty, the Neris and his kind, will continue to step on us, kick us to the corners, or even break us into pieces. I can only hope and pray, that one day one of those kicks will be strong enough to awaken the sleeping giant in us.

There is a need to wake up and show our strength.
[William Inglis] We can start by sending back home just enough cash for our families to survive and save the rest in the country where we work. This Neri protocol is in line with the proposal to the government of some exclusive school management graduates, if Im not mistaken, to tax OFW income to subsidize the local labor pool in Pinas.

Health and Food / Gallstones Removal
August 03, 2007, 07:31:43 PM
There is nothing toxic to take, just the good stuff.

1. Liver
2. Common Bile Duct
3. Gallstones
4. Gallbladder

Hello,

Sharing here the easy-to-do-at- home gall bladder cleansing:

REMOVING GALLSTONES NATURALLY
by Dr Lai Chiu-Nan

It has worked for many. If it works for you please pass on the good news. Chiu Nan is not charging for it, so we should make it free for everyone. Your reward is when someone, through your word of mouth, benefits from the regime. Gallstones may not be everyone's concern. But they should be because we all have them. Moreover, gallstones may lead to cancer. "Cancer is never the first illness," Chiu Nan points out. "Usually, there are a lot of other problems leading to cancer.

In my research in China , I came across some materials which say that people with cancer usually have stones. We all have gallstones. It's a matter of big or small, many or few.

One of the symptoms of gallstones is a feeling of bloatedness after a heavy meal. You feel like
you can't digest the food. If it gets more serious, you feel pain in the liver area." So if you think you have gallstones, Chiu Nan offers the following method to remove them naturally.

The treatment is also good for those with a weak liver, because the liver and gallbladder are closely linked.

Regimen:
1. For the first five days, take four glasses of apple juice every day. Or eat four or five apples, whichever you prefer. Apple juice softens the gallstones. During the five days, eat normally.
2. On the sixth day, take no dinner.
3. At 6 PM, take a teaspoon of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) with a glass of warm water.
4. At 8 PM, repeat the same. Magnesium sulphate opens the gallbladder ducts.
5. At 10 PM, take half cup olive oil (or sesame oil) with half cup fresh lemon juice. Mix it well and drink it. The oil lubricates the stones to ease their passage.

The next morning, you will find green stones in your stools. "Usually they
float," Chiu Nan notes. "You might want to count them. I have had people who passes 40, 50 or up to 100 stones. Very many."

"Even if you don't have any symptoms of gallstones, you still might have some. It's always good to give your gall bladder a clean-up now and then.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

God's enemies better fear Him.

Christians revere Him.

The word 'fear" in both Hebrew and Greek also means "revere".

Bible Study / Re: Why Go To Church?
July 31, 2007, 04:00:18 PM
The Bible says not to forsake the assembling of yourselves together, much more so as you see the day approching.
If you are a real Christian you must be born again and repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
If you don't go to church as a Christian you are in disobediance and therefore cant' expect God to bless disobediance.
