You guys are right but we need not be helpess. Somehow whether our efforts can't make a big difference we've got to stand up and do something. Many misfortunes befall a people because not one good man chose to make a stand. Corruption triumphs because of people's inactions and
insensitivity.
It may take a while to make a change, maybe not in our lifetime but for the sake of our future generations we have to do something.
I urge everyone and I hope you will heed the call. We can use this forum to start change and make people aware of issues. I admire the sacrifices our kababayans have to endure working in foreign lands. I've been there and know how it feels.
May sound like a tall order but together we can start to make a difference!

Mao tingali nga kalit lang gi withdraw ni Nicole ang iyang kaso vs. Daniel Smith ug tua na siya sa America namuyo.
This is just mere speculation, but perhaps our government who is in need of US military support at this time helped convince Nicole to withdraw from the case.
This is a matter of choosing the less evil.

Rald, dili pagtamay sa among lugar sa Corella, Bohol, dunay naglisod sa pag-eskwela.Tinuod adunay mga pobre nga tabanganan gyud. Unsa kahay ikatabang nimo?.

i hope you wouldn't mind my anonymity in this forum. with the current setup of our political and financial systems in the country, i have to remain unknown in order to protect the legacy and integrity not only of my person, but also of my office.

I have never heard the theory that there is a connection between Timori and Eskayan! This is something that I should test since my dissertation is on the Eskayan language.
So, anybody reading this thread - please help! I would like to chart this on a map of Bohol.
To any Boholano reading this, please tell me:
1. What is your birthplace?
2. Did you ever use Timori growing up?
Just reply to this message! When I finish the Timori map I will send out the link!
(PS. I have much to say about Eskaya and the hoax claims which I think could answer most people's questions. But for now, I'm too interested in Timori to comment here)

I am from Cortes, in Bohol. I used to hear my uncles, at least two of them, communicate in TIMORI. My mother also knows it, i just dont know if she could still speak it right now.
I used to know about a sandbar in Talibon, i think it's Mahaba Island now, which was christened by an NGO group as Tirot. It should sound editable in the Cebuano. Hmm
