I am feeling good today.  I am a great procrastinator but I finally finished the box of goodies for our fisherman brother in law in American Samoa!  The mailman is going to pick it up later.

Haze, not just for the experience but caring for the sick and old, that's one of the corporal acts of mercy bya. Even if we got paid...

For my sister's former employer, lagi makasakit sa dughan.  We call gud the old lady as our Mom and even if she has Alzheimer, ga remember sya sa name sa akong sister ug sa ako pod.  Ask gani ko what's my name, mag isip dayon na sya then I'd start with "amazing" so singgit dayon na sya Oh, I know, your name is Grace! hahahah  We love that old woman.  Sometimes at night I really think of her.  Bedridden naman sya.  Mag call gani mi sa iyang caregiver sometimes mangumusta lang pero dili ipahibalo sa iyang anak!  Dulot jud iyang kasuko sa akong sister.  Ingon gud sya pagpananghid sa akong sister,  "You are leaving Mom?  How could you? "  pirte hilak akong manghud oi!

Dear Santa,

My list is long but I have enough time. 

1.  Peace on earth! I particularly wish that the Iraqi people would stop killing each others.  Well, not just Iraqi but all people.  They should give a little more value to LIFE.
2.  That the people on earth will have a happy Christmas and will really celebrate the reason behind Christmas!  That people should not be ashamed to greet each other, MERRY CHRISTMAS instead of just Happy Holidays! 
3.  Food and shelter and clothings to those in dire need of those essentials in life.  Heal the sick, physically and emotionally.  Comfort and give justice to the downtrodden.
4.  May you always take care of my family especially my sister Maricar who is always at risk in her job.

5.  About a million peso to pay for the property in Manga so we can settle there someday.
6.  Some more money, Santa!: $1,162.79 each to my financially-needy brothers and sisters so they can start a livelihood and be able to take care of their children's needs decently. 
7.  Please cast your magic wand, if you have, to finish our house in Manga.  It doesn't have to be so perfectly nice but having a granite counter wouldn't be bad.

And Santa, don't forget to have yourself a stressless Christmas!  Take it easy! Merry Christmas! ho ho ho

Ka remember ko, one time, bag o akong haircut and I was really feeling good that day.  Ingon sya, where did you get your haircut, ingon ko sa Chinese beauty Salon.  Ingnan ba kaha ko, Don't go back there! coz you don't look good hahahah maot ijang pag tan aw.  Ingon ko, that's ok, I am already settled with the fact that I am not beautiful outside. ka points pod siguro ko adto kay ning hilum man.   

My younger sister used to take care of this very sweet lady and I always go there to have lunch with them.  When my sister decided to seek a state job, nasuko ang anak ug gi ban nami didto.  It's just so sad coz we used to be so close.

I listen to music - gasgas na gani ning akong Madrigal Singers na cd but not when I am decorating cake. I want to do it at late or midnight when all's asleep and quiet in the neigborhood.  I like the sound of silence because I can really communicate with my inner self and enjoy what I am doing.

I know, Mar!  When we went there for a vacation with my aunt and Rotary ladies, pastilan kahalang sa ilang food!  We even went nlang to a KFC, sus ang ilang regular kay halang to my taste pa gihapon kay talawan man ko halang.  We then went to this sidewalk restaurant kadto bitaw turo2x ka ug fresh seafood tapos ipaluto nlang nimo sa ila, I had to be on top of it kay I was so sick of eating spicy food after 2 days of being there.  Akong gi ingnan ang waitress no spice, just salt.  Wa kasabot sya ga nganga lang!  So I went to their kitchen, punit ko ilang salt container ingon ko with matching yango2x, this one ok not the other ones pointing to the pepper and all.  Pag abot sa among isda kay nah coated kaayo sya ug salt as in we had to crack the salt open to get to the fish!  Nangasiga among mata! hahahahha but good thing whole fish man to so dili man jud salty ang sulod so ok ra!

I felt the aftershock too yesterday and today.  I was just chatting with Happy earlier and I told her I was experiencing dizziness due to the aftershock.  Goodness, who is not afraid of earthquake and especially seeing all the distructions of the 1989 earthquake in the exhibit in San Francisco!  Maayo pa lightning and thunder, I can hide under layers of blankets and comforter but earthquake, no where!
