Before the break of that first dawn
You wrote the secrets of the world
And filled the ancient skies
With Your voice and light

Before the world began to spin
You knew the heart of broken men
And how to save our lives
With Your perfect sacrifice

What words could tell
What song could sing?

And bring
Glory to God above
Full of truth and endless love
He who is and was and always will be
I surrender to the one
Gentle and most powerful
Of all the things You are
You've chosen to be
A savior to me

You have made Your light to shine
Through the darkness of all time
And that light was life
In the face of Jesus Christ

You've caused a dawn within my soul
My heart no longer is my own
I want to praise You now
With every breath that You allow

What words could tell
What song could sing?

And bring
Glory to God above
Full of truth and endless love
He who is and was and always will be
I surrender to the one
Gentle and most powerful
Of all the things You are
You've chosen to be
A Savior to me

And I sing glory to God almighty (3x)

Glory to God above
Full of truth and endless love
He who is and was and always will be
And I surrender to the one
Gentle and most powerful
Of all the things You are
You've chosen to be
A Savior to me

And I sing glory to God almighty
And I sing glory
And I sing glory

And I sing glory
I sing glory
I sing glory
I sing glory

I’m running back to Your promises, one more time
Lord that’s all I can hold on to
I’ve got to say this has taken me, by surprise
But nothing surprises You
Before a heartache, can ever touch my life
It has to go through Your hands
And even though I, I keep asking why
I keep asking why

No matter what, I’m gonna love You
No matter what, I’m gonna need You
I know that You can find a way to keep me from the pain
But if not, if not - I’ll trust You
No matter what (no matter, no matter what, no matter)
No matter what (no matter, no matter what â€" no matter, no matter what)

When I’m stuck in this nothingness, by myself
I’m just sitting in silence
There’s no way I can make it, without Your help
I won’t even try it
I know You have Your reasons, for everything
So I will keep believing
Whatever I might be feeling
God You are my hope, and You’ll be my strength

No matter what, I’m gonna love You
No matter what, I’m gonna need You

I know that You can find a way to keep me from the pain
But if not, if not - I’ll trust You
No matter what (no matter, no matter what, no matter)
No matter what (no matter, no matter what â€" no matter, no matter what)

Anything I don’t have, You can give it to me
But it’s OK if You don’t
I’m not here for those things
The touch of Your love is enough on its own

And no matter what, I still love You
And I’m gonna need You

No matter what, I’m gonna love You
No matter what, I’m gonna need You
I know that You can find a way to keep me from the pain
But if not, if not - I’ll trust You
I know that You can find a way to keep me from the pain
But if not, but if not, I’ll trust You
No matter what (no matter)
No matter what (no matter, no matter what)

No matter - no matter what
(No matter - no matter what)
No matter - no matter what
(No matter - no matter what)
No matter - no matter what

Muslims in Egypt burn down a Christian Church in Alexandria, Egypt:

Quote from: Lorenzo on January 10, 2012, 03:20:26 PM
The muslims read the Quran, which was written by a paedophilic military overlord named Muhammad , who claims was illiterate and became literate because of God. This is highly unlikely because Muhammad was a caravan trader, and in those times, literacy was required for the proper dispensation of goods and monetary equivalent.

Muhammad claimed to have received the 'word of Allah' during his epileptic spells in his life. In all actuality, he basically picked and chose some aspects of Christianity and Judaism and claimed it as 'islam'. Muhammad implemented violent conquest throughout Arabia.

Muhammad writes in the Quran that Jesus Christ was not the Son of God, but was just a mere prophet. In addition, Muhammad writes in the Quran that Christ did not die on the Cross.

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world."

-1 John 4:1-3

Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son.

-1 John 2:22

Christianity upholds some of the core truths in Judaism: That the Lord is God. Christians believe that GOD came down from Heaven and was born and made into man. He was born of a virgin, Mary of Bethlehem. Christ Jesus was the greatest and most perfect sacrifice for the atonement of sins. Salvation is only through a living faith in Jesus Christ for there is no salvation but through Christ. Christians believe and declare that Christ died, was buried, and on the third day rose again. He ascended into Heaven and Sits at the Right Hand of God the Father and will Judge the Living and the Dead.

Judaism is practiced by the Jews. According to the Jews, GOD has awarded them , Israel, all blessings among the nations. They believe in ritualistic actions required for salvation as dictated by the Shabat. Judaism claims that a Messiah will come to Shepherd Israel. They are still waiting for the Messiah.

In Indonesia alone, there are thousands of Christian children being beheaded because they are Christian and refuse to convert to Islam. The Muslims in Indonesia that propagate such "righteous killings" say it is justified.

Muhammad was a military leader, laying siege to towns, massacring the men, raping their women, enslaving their children, and taking what was once the property of others as his own.  On several occasions he rejected offers of surrender from the besieged inhabitants and butchered captives.  He inspired his followers to battle even when they did not feel it was right to fight, promising them slaves and booty if they did and threatening them with Hell if they did not.  Muhammad allowed his men to rape traumatized women captured in battle, usually on the very day their husbands and family were slaughtered.

Yet, millions of people, the muslims, consider him a holy man. How can a military general, and political overlord, and eventual religious deceiver, be considered a holy man? This is, afterall, the same man that married a 9 year old girl named Aisha and justified it calling it "God's Will". Sick perverted old man!

How can a murderous pedophile be considered a prophet?

The Quran actually commands the muslims to kill and actively destroy those who do not believe in their religion:

And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution [of Muslims] is worse than slaughter [of non-believers]... but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful.   And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah."

Although it is common for Muslims to become upset about anyone “insulting” their religion, here is what the Quran says about Jews and Christians:

The Jews call Ezra a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! (SURAH 9:30)

Quote from: junjun on January 08, 2012, 08:04:37 PM
1. First and formost, improve the road condition.

2. There should be  tourism and Heritage Workshop in order to make plans on how to maximize the massive potentials of Valencia, with out destroying its heritage. Include those who are knowledgeable on this areas and those that will be affected..

3. Set-aside politics....Intensify education..Let the people be aware of the tons of beautiful natural and man-made heritages in our town.

4. Commission a research to do CULTURAL MAPPING in order to identify those that will be included in the development program!

I agree with your points. I especially concur with point # 1, that being the road condition in the interior parts of the town requires improvement. When I was back in Valencia in July 2010, I drove my Isuzu Crosswind 4X4 up through the road into Anas, and into Manga and beyond. The road there is but partially paved, and should be completely paved. It would benefit hundreds of people trying to get through this , especially during the rainy season.

The town could do well with investment in a tourism and heritage foundation. More of our youth should be proud of the history of our town. Many of our ancestors worked and strived hard for the creation of a "Valencia" separate from Dimiao. We should preserve that historical legacy.

Good points, Jun.

Considering the current situation, the colonization of space worlds seems improbable in the near and distant future. The current squabbles between nation states , and regional states will prevent a unilateral colonization program.

Secondly, we do not have the technology to catapult human colonists into the worlds that are habitable. The ones that are considered 'habitable' are millions to billions of light years away.

Humanity will need to discover technology that has the ability to project matter through space, a wormhole propagator, so to say. Currently, we are not able to do that. Only in movies and video games. :)

Because of the EU's continued support of failed states such as Greece, the economic situation has spread throughout other parts of the EU. Quite frankly, I am weary if Germany, the financial powerhouse of the EU, will continue to support indebted neighbors, as it will affect the German economy. Honestly? I think part of the reason why people spew such 'end times' predictions is to get money. Many of them get money scaring people and some people donate to their so called 'churches'. One must be careful of the deception of many of these 'liberal theology churches' that put a lot of emphasis on personal interpretation rather than on Authoritative Interpretation from The Holy Roman Catholic Church.

Many of these so called 'new age televangelical churches' are heretical cults. The heaven's gate church , was a cult.

The devil lurks about deceiving many. May God rebuke him.

And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhereâ€"in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” After saying this, he was taken up into a cloud while they were watching, and they could no longer see him. As they strained to see him rising into heaven, two white-robed men suddenly stood among them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why are you standing here staring into heaven? One time I brought 3 bags of kopiko to work one time; I had just made coffee when a colleague asked what was in my cup. He asked, "what is that?". Ingon ko, "kopiko coffee . I got it in the Philippines."

Gusto pod siya mo tilaw , so I poured him half of my cup.

Na believe gayod siya. "I need to get some of that nice Filipino coffee!"

Haha! To answer your question , Isles, yes..Nami gid sang kopiko para sa akon....

Ooops soweee... I didn't encourage nothing. I just read it on the paper. I'm only asking kung mahimo ba kaha pod ni sa ila Ms. Isles or sa atoa... kay dili man sue-happy sa atoa, di ba? Hehehe...

My own uncle told me that when he was still a medical student in Cebu, he would already perform circumcision on hundreds of children as per requirement of their rural medicine rotation. That is unheard of here in the United States.

hahay! i should have gone to medical school in the Philippines because of the full scope of practice medical students have in the Philippines. Medical interns in the Philippines are not pressed in having to pay "Medical liability insurance" every year while doing clinical rotations. Diri sa America, anyone is liable.

This is the reason why Filipino doctors who graduated from Philippine Medical Schools are considered "all-around" Docs diri. Dili ma hadlok sila mo dive in sa situation.

A small group of Valencianhons in New Jersey gathered to celebrate the Fiesta de Senor Santo Nino in January 2011. This was at my family's house:

i had wanted a somewhat similar contraption for a kitten whose spine was broken at birth and was forced to drag his body on the floor.  i was inspired because i just read at the time about a disabled turtle that was given rolling prosthetics in jordan.

that kitten i picked up somewhere in a country outside the philippines was so playful despite its disability.  the vet insisted on putting it down.  i went out of the clinic crying.  that evening, the vet sent me an email apologizing for his decision.  he had to do it, he said, to save the kitten and me from worse future troubles.

Luoy pood intawn. It's good to see that you have so much compassion for animals who are unable to speak out for themselves.
