Mike, I can not even say I know how you feel though believe me I understand how feel.  When my mother was so critical, I thought I really shook God like a child to listen to me to spare my mother.  He granted my wish because, I guess it wasn't my Mother's time yet but the thought of losing her really drove me crazy at that time, it was so overwhelming and unimaginable I wished then I could die for awhile so I wouldn't feel that pain and anxiety anymore.  That's why Mike, I embraced you for your being open to us in sharing your emotions.  I really appreciate that because that means you truly care for us too and trust us to share the memories of your dear father.  I think through that huge trial in your life, it made us TB, a stronger and united family!  Please let us know what else can we do to ease your pain.  Or, is there?

I love being in America.  I have beautiful neighbors just like what we had in Bohol that we can borrow salt and oil, stuff like that, though I haven't tried.  When we were new here, our neighbors welcomed us!  When I was mowing our more than half an acre lawn with our push mower, the neighbor across the street sent his riding mower.  (God bless his soul!)  When we are in in our house, they keep an eye.  But when I grow old, I still would like to go home to my Bohol.  I don't want to rot in the care home here.

Dili Haze, mangayo ko didto sa akong favorite Thai Restaurant but I don't think lisud na buhaton.  Here's the recipe I would like to try.  If I try to make this, I will use mortar para nice jud just like when I make kare-kare (opps, unhealthy!).

4 Servings

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 tablespoon tamarind   
3 tablespoons sugar   
3-5 tablespoons peanut butter   
2 tablespoons fish sauce   
1 tablespoon red curry paste   
3/4 cup coconut milk   


Add the coconut milk to a cold sauce pan and start to heat it up at medium heat. As it is heating, stir in the curry paste and break the paste into small pieces. Mix well. When you see red oil simmering to the top, add the peanut butter and the rest of ingredients. Stir and taste. You should be able to taste the fish sauce, sugar and tamarind flavors. If it becomes too thick, add a few teaspoons of water to thin the paste.

Serve with satay and cucumber salad. Place the sauce on a flat plate for easy dip, saucer dish is the best

Yes, Dong, I had upper GI problem - acid reflux which I supposed that caused to have bleeding ulcer.  I had massive blood loss!  I suffered a lot when I was in the hospital for 5-days early April of this year.  They poke me a lot of times to extract blood while they also tranfused blood!  They put a camera thru my nose then thru my throat then thru my you know where!  I am so scared of needles na jud!  I will try the medicinal stuff you wrote here.
