Thanks, Maring!  I didn't like my hair kay gi kulongon gamay sa akong cousin but can't complain kay wa bya'y bayad.  I made my own bouquet kay if I buy bouquet, the smallest tag 100 dollars including one boutonniere for the groom. Palit lang ko'g bundle of roses sa Costco, referred to DIY, dah kabuhat ko'g nice bouquet and boutonniere!  Total cost, including tax, 18.99! hahahaha

Wow!!! maayo pa ka naa diay kay Blahnik dah! Hahaha match man pod sa tag 1.99 per yard kay naa ra jud na sa gadala!  Besides, ang imong labor pag tahi ana kay priceless man!

Mike, less stress man among kasal kay family members ra man na naa dre tapos nagsaka mi sa Lake Tahoe where beauty of nature was just so splendid!  Less pa ang gastos kay kilid2x ra ang reception -sa buffet restaurant sa casino so kadtong nahuman na kaon, dretso na dayon sa casino while ang uban na diganahan sa smoke sa casino, nag pasak-pasak mi sa snow sa gawas!

Hello Precious!  Mike might have an answer to your questions but I will just say something, if you don't mind.  You and the other foreigners in this forum are not anymore considered as foreigners to us.  You belong to the same TB family thus you are considered honorary Boholanos and Boholanas! 

After Marcos was sent in exile to Hawaii, all succeding presidents were accused of being corrupt and all of them were threatened to be taken out from their presidency thru people power - even Cory who became president by virtue of being a wife of Ninoy Aquino.  She never wanted to be a president in the first place but we needed her for the smooth transition of an alleged corrupt Marcos era to a Cory-led Philippines.  And so she gave in to the clamor of the Masang Pilipino and yet, she wasn't exempted to that threat of being ousted thru "people power", her being one of the pillars of the original Edsa People Power.

Power corrupts people, that's just what it is and yet people wants to be in power. Whoever becomes president of our country is always going to be accused of being corrupt.  But the good thing about GMA, in all her shortcomings, she is tough and not easily toppled by this righteous  politicians who think they are morally upright than the others.

MAKATI CITY, Philippines -- Civil society groups and bishops called for President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to resign and called on the people to come out and show support for Senator Antonio Trillanes IV.

Among them were Jimmy Regalario of the Kilusang Makabansang Ekonomiya, Father Robert Reyes, former University of the Philippines president Francisco Nemenzo, former Vice President Teofisto Guingona, Bishops Julius Labayen and Gaudencio Tobias.

Nemenzo called on the Filipinos to “carry on the fight.”

Regalario said his group was calling on those in the line of succession from Vice President Noli De Castro, Senate President Manuel Villar, Speaker Jose De Venecia to give way to Supreme Court Chief Justice Reynato Puno to head a caretaker government for one and a half years, during which a new Constitution would be drawn up.

“People ask me if this is another EDSA. I hope so...To our countrymen, instead of going abroad, it's time to come here...This administration has no moral ascendancy. It is corrupt to the bones. Pagod na kami [We are tired],” Reyes said.

Bitaw oi, kasungugan jud ni GEC!  But I enjoyed chatting with himer (pinaghalong him and her!) lastnight sa shoutbox!  He/she is smart and playful for an older lady lawyer that I thought he/she is sometimes.

That's true, Dong Enzo and Ms. C2!  People here are really nice but naa gihapon rude especially if you take the public transportation but mas daghan jud nice!  I go walking in the park, they really would greet me with hello and a warm smile.  And if bag-ong shampoo ang hair, they would say, I love your hair!  Basta, bisan unsa lang to make your day!
