This afternoon, babycakes and I went to an Indian restaurant called Tiflin in Chicago. It was a nice venue, but what I really liked about the place was their glabjamu dessert. The food was, in all honesty, decent, the chicken tikka masala and the punjabi paneer could have been better, it was not spicy enough, imho. I told her, "next time we should just go to a filipino restaurant." :P

My thoughts exactly.
#15835
The one thing about being uncircumcised is that having all that foreskin can prevent the penis from growing to its full length. As compared to circumcised penises.
#15836
If a man is uncurcimcised, it takes longer for him to reach heightened stimulation because the glans penis is completely covered, whereas a man who is circumcised has lost all the foreskin and the glans penis (the mushroom head) is completed exposed-- allowing it to be completely and utterly stimulated during sexual intercourse. As a result, circumcised men will ejaculate faster than uncircumcised men.

How does that translate for the woman?

Well, think of satisfaction. If a man is selfish and satisfies his own need to ejaculate, he may do so too quickly and deprive his female partner of vaginal orgasm. Having an uncircumcised penis can be beneficial in that regard because the longer it takes for the man to reach sexual climax, allows him to satisfy his sex partner.

But of course, if you want to really satisfy a woman by controlling your orgasm and delay it, a man can implement keggel exercises, which can increase the time it takes for a man to ejaculate.

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, for each one should carry their own load.

â€" Galatians 6:2-5

Paul’s words teach us the importance of encouraging one another in truth and love, even through our own struggles, sins and triumphs. Rather than comparing our weaknesses and strengths to those around us, we are reminded that God alone has the power to judge. As we focus our eyes upon the race that life places before us we are free to encourage those who are running beside us on their own track.

The halls echo our oncoming steps
the paper clips open to our dextrous hands
the nurses fight over the same charts
the surgery tech orders scrub classes for us

All in a day.
All in a day.

As i move forward, enter the room, a new patient to treat
Jumping from room to room, as a heart beat as a heart beat
No time to rest, no time to hesitate, no time to doubt
Treat first, doubt second, a man's life hangs in the balance

All in a day.
All in a day.

So much responsibility , can a man truly do this by self?
Prayer augments action, Prayer strengthens the treatment decision
Without prayer there is doubt, With prayer there is accomplishment

All in a day

A series of powerful storms and tornadoes have killed at least 28 people in the US states of Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio, officials say.

Local police confirmed that at least 13 people died as tornadoes swept across three counties in Indiana.

Twelve more died in Kentucky, with two fatalities in Ohio. Earlier, tornadoes hit Alabama, killing one person.

"We are no match for Mother Nature at her worst," said Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels.

There are fears the death toll may rise as the scale of the devastation and the breadth of the storms made immediate assessments of the destruction difficult.

The storms - stretched across a vast part of the US Midwest - came days after another system killed 13 people.

The first deaths on Friday were reported in Indiana, where the small town of Henryville was badly damaged.

Reports of extreme damage included a roof torn off a high school.

An official from Clark County sheriff's department described the nearby town of Marysville, Indiana - located close to Henryville - as "completely gone".

Jenn Helvering, 24, told the BBC she saw a storm cell cross the highway as she drove towards Henryville. She then came across wreckage, including an overturned tractor-trailer, alongside the road near the town.

Ms Helvering, who posted a series of images online said she saw "what seemed to be a funnel", when driving between two storm cells.

"The weather was terrible. I suddenly saw a tornado coming towards me, I could see it swirling, then I saw one behind me. I was stuck in between two tornadoes - my dad directed me while I was driving between the two tornadoes. It was truly terrifying."
'Take cover!'

In Salem, Indiana, a toddler was found injured in a field after tornadoes passed through, reports said before being taken to a children's hospital, where she was later identified.

A family of four were found dead in Washington County, Indiana, Sheriff Claude Combs told the Louisville Courier-Journal.

Meanwhile, in Henryville, authorities found a man dead inside his vehicle. It was the first confirmed death in Clark County.

"We've got total devastation in the north-central part of the county [and] widespread damage from the west to the east," Clark County Sheriff Clark Adam told CNN.

Neighbouring Marysville was totally destroyed.

"Marysville is completely gone,'' said Chuck Adams of Clark County Sheriff's Department.

By 19:30 EST (00:30 GMT on Saturday) tornado warnings were in effect across swathes of Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana, with parts of West Virginia and Florida also under advisory.

In a strongly worded warning, the NWS said residents in the path of the Indiana storm were facing an "extremely dangerous and life threatening situation".

"If you are in the path of this tornado... take cover immediately!" the NWS said.

Additional tornadoes were reported near Mumfordville, Kentucky and Memphis, Indiana, as well in southern Ohio.

Local TV broadcaster WHAS in Kentucky showed a storm-tracking team driving through Mumfordville, speeding away from a potential tornado as golf-ball sized hailstones fell from the sky.

As the evening progressed more details of the scale of destruction began to emerge, with officials in Kentucky and Ohio confirmed fatalities there.

Earlier this week, 13 people died after twisters swept through Missouri, Kansas, Illinois and Tennessee.
Houses flattened

On Friday morning five people were taken to hospital and 11 houses were flattened in the town of Athens, Alabama by an apparent tornado in the Huntsville area.

More than 20 school networks in Alabama closed early on Friday because of the weather warning.

If you went back in time and met your teenage parents, you could not split them up and prevent your birth - even if you wanted to, a new quantum model has stated.

Researchers speculate that time travel can occur within a kind of feedback loop where backwards movement is possible, but only in a way that is "complementary" to the present.

In other words, you can pop back in time and have a look around, but you cannot do anything that will alter the present you left behind.

The new model, which uses the laws of quantum mechanics, gets rid of the famous paradox surrounding time travel.

Although the laws of physics seem to permit temporal gymnastics, the concept is laden with uncomfortable contradictions.

The main headache stems from the idea that if you went back in time you could, theoretically, do something to change the present; and that possibility messes up the whole theory of time travel.

Clearly, the present never is changed by mischievous time-travellers: people don't suddenly fade into the ether because a rerun of events has prevented their births - that much is obvious.

So either time travel is not possible, or something is actually acting to prevent any backward movement from changing the present.

For most of us, the former option might seem most likely, but Einstein's general theory of relativity leads some physicists to suspect the latter.

According to Einstein, space-time can curve back on itself, theoretically allowing travellers to double back and meet younger versions of themselves.

And now a team of physicists from the US and Austria says this situation can only be the case if there are physical constraints acting to protect the present from changes in the past.

The researchers say these constraints exist because of the weird laws of quantum mechanics even though, traditionally, they don't account for a backwards movement in time.

Quantum behaviour is governed by probabilities. Before something has actually been observed, there are a number of possibilities regarding its state. But once its state has been measured those possibilities shrink to one - uncertainty is eliminated.

So, if you know the present, you cannot change it. If, for example, you know your father is alive today, the laws of the quantum universe state that there is no possibility of him being killed in the past.

It is as if, in some strange way, the present takes account of all the possible routes back into the past and, because your father is certainly alive, none of the routes back can possibly lead to his death.

"Quantum mechanics distinguishes between something that might happen and something that did happen," Professor Dan Greenberger, of the City University of New York, US, told the BBC News website.

"If we don't know your father is alive right now - if there is only a 90% chance that he is alive right now, then there is a chance that you can go back and kill him.

"But if you know he is alive, there is no chance you can kill him."

In other words, even if you take a trip back in time with the specific intention of killing your father, so long as you know he is happily sitting in his chair when you leave him in the present, you can be sure that something will prevent you from murdering him in the past. It is as if it has already happened.

"You go back to kill your father, but you'd arrive after he'd left the room, you wouldn't find him, or you'd change your mind," said Professor Greenberger.

"You wouldn't be able to kill him because the very fact that he is alive today is going to conspire against you so that you'll never end up taking that path leads you to killing him."

Greenberger and colleague Karl Svozil introduce their quantum mechanical model of time travel on the ArXiv e-print service.

Jokes and Humor / The Migraine Cure
March 02, 2012, 02:56:12 PM
A man goes to the doctor with a long history of migraine headaches. When the doctor does his history and physical, he discovers that his poor patient has had practically every therapy known to man for his migraines and STILL no improvement.

"Listen," says the Doc, "I have migraines too, and the advice I'm going to give you isn't really anything I learned in medical school, but it's advice that I've gotten from my own experience. When I have a migraine, I go home, get in a nice hot bathtub, and soak for a while. Then I have my wife sponge me off with the hottest water I can stand, especially around the forehead. This helps a little. Then I get out of the tub, take her into the bedroom, and even if my head is killing me, I force myself to have sex with her. Almost always, the headache is immediately gone. Now, give it a try, and come back and see me in six weeks."

Six weeks later, the patient returns with a big grin.

"Doc! I took your advice and it works! It REALLY WORKS! I've had migraines for 17 years and this is the FIRST time anyone has ever helped me!"

"Well," says the physician, "I'm glad I could help."

"By the way, Doc," the patient adds, "you have a REALLY nice house."
